Conquering the Swamp [Dungeon|Open]

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Obviously hitting beneath the armor, while shadows, seemed to affect the creature, and so that was what she would aim to do from now on. But it quickly charged forward, swinging its bladed bow towards her stomach. Eyes widening, Katsumi would parry to the side to avoid the hit, sucking in her stomach instinctively, before lifting up her own bladed bow and striking down at its extended arm, at the crack between the armor at the inside of the elbow. She hoped to sever it, or, at the very least, deeply cut through (in which case, Katsumi would jump back and, effectively, slide it out.)

Takehiro: The mercenary successfully destroyed the knight's helmet, which would fall to pieces on the floor! However, before Takehiro could hit the floor, it would wrap its arms around him, lean back, and slam his head into the ground! Feudal-elemental suplex!

Yukimura: The knight did let go! Just, not how Yukimura wanted! Rearing its arm, the knight would launch Yukimura toward a wall, where he would hit his back and fall to the floor! The knight was charging at him now, spear in hand, ready to impale him and stick him to the wall!

Haji: The blade went through the eye socket and the knight halted for a moment, shaking! Haji was able to grab the one sword, and he could already feel himself getting stronger! He had to act quickly, because the knight angrily swept around in a 720 degree slash, two full circles around itself!

Katsumi: She was able to parry successfully! However, before she could raise her bow, the knight's hand shot out to grab it, pushing her back! It would charge forward, continuing to push her so she was sliding along the ground, and if she did not act quickly, she would be slammed repeatedly into the closest wall!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Takehiro pulled his head in, flexing his shoulder muscles as he hit the floor. It fucking hurt, but it was a hell of a lot better than a broken neck, y'know? He would attempt to wiggle free, and if successful, hop back to his feet and hammer his fists into both of the bastard knight's shoulders! BREAK MOFO!

[Sanada Yukimura]

Though the knight released him, it wasn't exactly the way Yukimura wanted. Landing hard against the wall and falling to the floor after being thrown by the knight, he had let out all the air in his lungs just before impact to avoid having the wind knocked out of him, and as the knight charged at him, he would do the first thing that came to mind: He would throw himself to the ground and quickly roll into a crouching position, facing the knight.

If he managed to avoid being pinned to the wall, hopefully the knight's spear ended up lodged in the wall, as he would hold his spear in both hands and quickly thrust his spear up at the knight's hand, using the length of the spear to his advantage, to try and impale his hand and make him release the spear, before he would try to grab the spear for himself while the knight was hopefully distracted.

[Morei Haji]

I could feel an immense power coming from the sword, just holding it made me feel stronger. Hopefully I could put this newfound strength to good use. And with that, I would duck underneath the monster's slashes, low to the floor to make sure I wasn't hurt. After his second sweep, he would be left open, and I would jump up, sending the sakabato into the dark knight's shoulder joint. If successful, I would bring the flat end of the demonic blade at the knight's shoulder, planning on destroying the armor there, and hopefully the entire arm.

Eyes widened as her bow was grabbed and Katsumi was being pushed back. Feet slid against the floor, and there was simply no way her small form could fight back against its weight and size. Clenching her teeth, Katsumi would release her bow and duck down, using the creature's weight and gravity against him, and slip out her knife, attempting to strike in-between the helm and the shoulder, aiming for what would normally be the jugular.

Takehiro: Takehiro managed to escape, and he destroyed the knight's shoulder plates! However, it reacted ungodly quickly, taking the merc with both hands and flinging him against the nearest wall! Before he could hit the floor, he would find his shoulder impaled by the glaive, and the knight would ram its fist into his stomach!

Yukimura: Yukimura would not have had much luck in escaping! Though he was about to roll, the spear would find itself lodged into his shoulder and piercing the stone wall, pinning him! Luckily for him, his spear pierced the knight's shoulder armor, and, if he tried hard enough, he could knock it loose!

Haji: Haji successfully crushed and destroyed the knight's shoulder armor, and it faltered once more! Shaking, the knight began to glow, radiating a dark energy around itself!

Katsumi: Katsumi's maneuver was successful! She pried the armor from its shoulder, and it faltered once again, like it had been doing! It, like Haji's, began radiating a dark glow around itself, having dropped her bow!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro coughed up a lot of blood as the blade pierced his shoulder, and even more as the fist collided with his stomach. His body began to feel weak, but he was not going to die here. There was no way! Before the knight could pull its fist back, Takehiro would slam his own into it, hoping the explosion would destroy the gauntlet. If that attack was successful, he would slam his fist into the knight's gauntlet holding the glaive until it fucking shattered.

"Fuck! You! And your fucking! Big ass! BLADE!"

[Sanada Yukimura]

Roaring out in pain as the spear pierced his shoulder, though his own stab back managed to hit the knight's armor in turn, he would put as much power as he could into knocking the knight's armor loose. With both hands holding onto his spear, fighting through the pain, he would use the length of his spear and thrust his spear and try to pierce the knight's hand once more, to try and get him to drop his spear, before grabbing hold of it with his own hand and try to rip it free from his shoulder.

If he was successful, holding both spears in his hands, he'd then try to go for a second thrust, this time at the helmet, to crush it.

If he was not successful, he would hold his spear in front of him in a defensive position, to protect himself.

[Morei Haji]

Woo! I did it! And I didn't get smacked in this face this time!

I would quickly take the knight's faltering to perform another strike, this time I would send the blade I stole from him directly into his inner elbow joint, attempting to tear off the other gauntlet in the same manner that I did previously. If I was successful, I would quickly dart and grab the knight's other sword for myself, sheathing my sakabato and keeping my distance as I held my blades out in defense. The glowing was worrying me.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

With the armor dropping, the creature faltered again and began glowing, but she didn't stop. While her bow fell to the floor, Katsumi moved to disarm the paralyzed shadow being, snatching its bladed bow away (unless it is on the floor, in which case she would grab it.) Jumping up once more (yeah she did that before, oops), Katsumi used the size of the bow and its blade to attempt to knock off its helmet and, while falling, she would try to clutch at the top of the breast plate and have it fall down with her from her weight.

Takehiro: The mercenary managed to destroy the knight's gauntlets! With all of its armor destroyed, it let out a blood-curdling shriek that would ring out across the entire room, before it was pulled into a single spiral of darkness, vanishing! Now Takehiro just had a glaive in his shoulder!

Yukimura: Yukimura destroyed the knight's shoulder armor, and it reared back in "pain," pulling the spear out from Yukimura's shoulder before he had a chance to rip the spear out himself! It began faltering, giving him another opening for an attack!

Haji: Haji would strike the knight's inner-elbow, and he pried the gauntlet from its body, dropping the second sword! However, before Haji would have a chance to grab it, it shot out a single wave of darkness from its body, pushing Haji all the way across the room, until he landed against a wall!

Haji is now affected with: Dark poison. For the next three rounds, he will take damage equal to 15 Str, regardless of actions and item bonuses.

Katsumi: Katsumi successfully dislodged the knight's gauntlet, causing it to drop its bow! Before she could do anything else, however, it shot out a wave of darkness, sending Katsumi flying across the room, where she would slam into a wall!

Katsumi is now affected with: Dark poison. For the next three rounds, she will take damage equal to 15 Str, regardless of actions and item bonuses.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro would have cheered, if he didn't have a fucking glaive in his shoulder! He would pull the blade out by the handle, grunting and coughing up blood as he fell to the floor. He cursed, but he wasn't done with the fight. If he could take on any of the fallen knight's armor, he would do so, and, with its weapon in hand, he would charge toward the nearest knight (Haji's) and leap up, bringing the blade of the glaive down into its breastplate. If he was successful, he would pry the breastplate apart and begin whacking its helmet as hard as he could!

"If you hadn't noticed, you gotta wreck all their armor!"

[Sanada Yukimura]

Gritting his teeth in pain, but with the spear now no longer in his shoulder, Yukimura would dart forward and take the opening, going to hit the knight in its other shoulder, to try and knock its shoulder armor off.

If he was successful, with one hand over his injury, to keep blood loss to a minimum, he'd then try to dart to the side of the knight and try to strike the helmet of the knight off.

[Morei Haji]

I successfully got the gauntlet off, but before I could grab the sword, I was hit and sent flying all the way across the room. Slamming into the wall and falling to the floor, I coughed out some blood and started to feel weaker. My entire body was aching, and it felt like it was tearing itself apart.

"Agh... what the hell..."

I looked over at the knight, it must have been that glow... climbing back to my feet, panting, I gripped both of my weapons tightly and charged at the knight. I raised my weapon as if to strike, but as I got closer, I would suddenly dash to the side and roll past the knight if he swung at me, going for his other sword and grabbing it before turning to face him. The pain was awful, but I had to endure.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

She managed to disarm the creature, but a wave of darkness came from the shadowy figure and Katsumi flew across the room, back colliding into a wall. Coughing, the archer cried out and fell onto the ground, hunching over. She was overwhelmed with pain, both from the hit and what felt like something else, something supernatural.

"Fuck! What... What did it... d-do to... me...?"

A little bit of blood spit up from her lips and she leaned against her palm, resting flat on the ground. Forcing herself up, Katsumi nearly fell and looked forward, glaring at the creature. So it was their armor, huh?

Pushing aside her pain, Katsumi sheathed her blade and rushed forward, before attempting to kick her bow to the side as far as she could and pick up its dropped weapon. While the armor was the weak spot, she wasn't strong or big enough to tackle the creature effectively or head-on, so she would jump back and and run to try to have the shadowy being come after her, firing once at its head to agitate it.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Takehiro: Upon equipping the fallen knight's armor set and weapon, Takehiro would feel a surge of strength throughout his body, and as he began to run, he would be noticeably faster! He would reach the knight and the glaive would pierce its armor, ripping through it and tearing it apart! However, rather than falter, it seemed to become angry, lashing out in a wide arc attack, hitting the handle of the glaive and knocking him back!

Yukimura: Yuki pried the knight's armor from its shoulder, but as he tried to strike its head, one gauntlet shot up and took his blade, crushing it in its hand. The knight's spear would impale Yukimura a second time, twisting in his shoulder before ripping out. Yukimura fell to the ground, though with only one good arm!

Haji: Haji was able to make it to the knight just after Takehiro hit it, but he would be met with a dark fist to the face, causing him to fall over, dazed! Ooh boy!

Katsumi: The archer managed to swoop down in time to grab the knight's bow, though she would have no chance to use it just yet, as it struck her back and pushed her away! The blow was, fortunately, not entirely painful, as the knight seemed to have difficulties fighting at the moment. She would be able to react quick enough to find the knight lifting up her bladed bow, and swinging it down upon her head! Move, woman!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro's eyes fell to Haji as the boy would fall to the ground. How many times had he gotten hit in the face, already? To help him, he quickly spun around, slamming the flat of his glaive into the knight's helmet as many times as he had to, to knock the damn helmet off and kill it. "DIE ALREADY! DAMN!"

As soon as the knight was slain, if he was successful, Takehiro would rush to Hiroshi's aid, looking to ram the glaive into it's chest armor and pry it from its body.

[Sanada Yukimura]

Roaring in pain as he was stabbed in the shoulder a second time before dropping to the floor, with the blade of his spear destroyed, he would toss his spear to the side, and with one arm out of commission, he was left with the katanas he took from the dead soldiers. Quickly making a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, he'd then pull one katana out with his good arm, before trying to climb to his feet then dart to the side and go to strike the gauntlet of the knight, to try and knock one off.

[Morei Haji]

I would once again be smacked in the face, falling to the floor. My head was spinning, and everything was aching. The poison in my body was lingering, and it made every movement feel like hell. I started to climb back to my feet, taking a moment to recompose myself and try to see straight again.

"WILL YOU BASTARDS STOP HITTING ME IN THE FACE ALREADY?!"

While Takehiro was busy attacking the knight, I would dart towards the destroyed armor, equipping what I could salvage before grabbing the other sword. If Takehiro failed to finish it off, I would strike it in the helmet attempting to destroy it. If either he or I was successful, I would equip whatever I could salvage from the remaining armor and then run off to help Yukimura as Takehiro was helping Katsumi. I would run forward and attempt to stab my blade into the gauntlet that Yukimura wasn't attacking while he was distracted, attempting to tear that off completely.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

She was able to take the creature's bow, but was struck and pushed aside. While the blow itself wasn't painful, whatever the hell it did to her made her feel sick and she winced. But there was no time for feelings of unpleasantness, as it had her blade in hand and started swinging it down. Katsumi would immediately roll to the side and attempt, once in the clear, to swing the blade of the new bow into its arm while it was leaning down from the strike and rip the gauntlet off.

"Go to Yomi and stay there, you son of a bitch!" she exclaimed gruffly.
