Takehiro: Takehiro's blow only dazed the knight, though it seemed to make a quick recovery! It brought its hands up, about to strike, but Haji's blow took it out, allowing Takehiro to run toward Katsu-roshi! During his run, he would be halted by catching a flying man/woman-merc!

Yukimura: The time it took Yukimura to make the tourniquet, the knight would have already made its recovery. It brought its blade above Yukimura's head, about to cleave it straight from his shoulders, but was halted by Haji! This gave him the chance to rip into its gauntlet and tear it apart! With Haji's attack, the spear would fall to the ground!

Haji: The young merc would feel a surge of strength, and the strike to the helmet destroyed it! It let out a shriek and disappeared like the previous one, allowing Haji to go assist Yukimura! From behind, he would stab into its gauntlet and rip it off, halting its attack! It shrieked in pain, momentarily halted!

Katsumi: Katsumi's maneuver was successful, and she destroyed the knight's gauntlet! It dropped the other bow, letting out a sharp howl of pain, before sending a lob of dark energy at her stomach and sending her flying! Luckily, she would be caught by one Amakusa Takehiro!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro caught Hiroshi with his bad arm, stumbling a little, but letting him down gently. Didn't want to throw the poor dood. He'd probably get badly hurt, given his small physique. "Easy, buddy, you ain't lookin' so hot." He saw him get blasted by that dark wave, and it didn't look like it was a good thing to be hit by.

Once he let Hiroshi down, Takehiro would charge the knight, ramming the glaive between its helmet and breast plate. If he was successful, he would rip the helmet off, pull the spear back, and ram it underneath the breastplate, in an attempt to pry that off as well!

[Sanada Yukimura]

With no time to contemplate about the fact he just saw his entire life rushing before his eyes as the knight was ready to cleave his head off his shoulders, Yukimura would quickly snatch up the spear the knight dropped while placing the katana back in its sheath. From there, he'd quickly try to knock the knight's helmet off while it was momentarily halted, then go for its chest plate and knock that off too if he was successful.

[Morei Haji]

New power surging through me, I would strike at the knight's chestplate from the other side as Yukimura, planning on helping him destroy it. If this was successful, I would strike upwards underneath the knight's helmet in an attempt to pull it off if Yukimura failed to do so himself.

If we succeeded in defeating the knight, I would check on Yukimura, making sure he was okay before running off to help the others.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

The gauntlet was destroyed, falling away along with her bow, but a ball of dark energy hit her in the stomach and sent her flying. Katsumi cried out and her small body collided into Takehiro, who caught her. While she was grateful, there was no time to thank him, because she was wrought with pain, especially in her stomach. When her feet touched the ground, Katsumi coughed and lurched, before leaning over and vomiting.

Hot tears streamed down her cheeks and she wiped the sleeve of her black kimono over her mouth. She felt like fucking shit, and this fight wasn't even over yet. Lids were heavily drooped and Katsumi coughed some more. She had to keep going. She couldn't give up! And so Katsumi stood up straight, wobbling a bit, before shaking her head and narrowing her eyes.

The archer was angry. In fact, she was pissed. Spitting out a little bit of residing vomit in her mouth, Katsumi seethed while panting, staring daggers with her eyes, "I'm gonna... fucking kill... you..."

Takehiro already moved forward and, despite how she felt, the archer forced herself forward, running through the muck of her mind. Firing at its head again as a distraction, Katsumi would run around the knight, coming up from behind. While distracted by Takehiro, the woman would attempt to leap up and land on the creature's back, riding it in a sense. She growled loudly, scrambling so that her legs tightly hugged its torso, and Katsumi would attempt put it in a choke-hold with her bow, using it with her weight while leaning back to remove the helm because go fuck yourself, cocksucker!

Takehiro and Katsumi: The mercenary's attack was successful, especially with Katsumi's distraction! As she hopped onto the knight, her hold and Takehiro's strike removed its helmet! While it halted from pain, he rammed the spear under the breastplate and ripped it apart, which would make Katsumi fall on her ass, but the creature was now dead! It would disappear into a void, just like the other two, with a terrifying, blood-curdling screech!

Yukimura and Haji: The team attacks from either side would prove effective, as the knight's helmet was removed and its breastplate crushed! As it perished, however, rather than disappear with a screech, the creature began to glow, letting out a powerful pulse, disappearing in a single wave of dark energy! Haji and Yukimura would fall over, both afflicted with Dark poison!

Both players receive Dark poison: They will receive damage equal to 15 str regardless of actions or items for three rounds.

The group would hear a very terrifying cacophony of screeches coming from above them, were they would see eleven of the Creatures crawling along the walls! Eleven orbs of darkness popped up from the ground, where the Crawlers formed! Four Knights formed from thin air, just outside the chamber that held the chest!

Takehiro was super proud of himself! They kicked some serious ass! But the sound of that terrifying whatever-noises that were being made caused him to look around the room, seeing the ARMY OF DARKNESS that was forming!

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" he began, ushering Hiroshi to start moving as soon as he was ready. He made a mad dash for the chest, heaving it into his arms. "-UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-" Struggling a little with all of the new equipment and the chest, he would run out of that damn chamber. He was pretty sure the others would follow his example.

"-IIIIIIIIIIIS!"

[Sanada Yukimura]

Sent falling over as the knight let out a powerful pulse, after it was gone, and a very terrifying cacophony of screeches came from up above them, eleven of the creatures they had fought, eleven of the crawlers Takehiro had fought, and four more knights appeared, he would scramble to his feet and try to grab as much of the armor the knight left behind before quickly chasing after Takehiro to the door and out of the chamber, his brand new spear held in his good hand and armor cradled in his good arm.

"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING MEEEEEEEE!"

[Morei Haji]

I got sent flying from another blast of dark energy, and as luck would have it, the feeling of being poisoned just renewed itself completely. Trying to keep it together, I would ensure I had everything that I could possibly salvage from the knight's remains and I would run out after the others. I would do my best to keep the nauseousness from getting to me, wanting to make sure I actually make it out alive and not get eaten by the army from hell behind me.

"Oh god... I can't... take this anymore..."

[Shinomori Katsumi]

All of the movement from so high up made Katsumi feel queasy and she proceeded to vomit all over the knight, and, oddly, with all of that out of her system she felt quite a bit better. And the knight was dead and was sucked into the vortex, resulting in Kat falling on her ass.

"Umph!"

Quickly getting onto her two feet, the girl grabbed her old bow and put it on her back. The others seemed faster and stronger with the armor, so maybe it was magical like the rest of this shit apparently. Still confused by all of what was going on, Katsumi would grab what she could before hearing the screeching noises and noticing the shit-ton of other monsters, eyes widening at the sight.

"Oh my...!" Kat cut herself off, seeing as Takehiro was ushering her to leave with him and, being the person she was, Katsumi would quickly follow suit.

The girl would proceed to run off with the others, likely getting far ahead of them with her speed and fright because FUCK THIS SHIT! SHE'S OUTTA HERE!

[Oda Nobunaga]

The group would make it out of the chamber successfully, and all of the forces inside would morph into a single creature who charged at the doorway with speed that seemed godlike. With a deathly roar and a blast of wind that would push the group away, it dissipated as it hit the doorway, morphing into a new door to the chamber. If the group tried to pry it open, they would be unsuccessful.

[OoC: This next round is to decide if the group will go down another route. Looted equipment will be rewarded now. If the group is going down another route, the chest will remain locked until they are done.

Takehiro Receives:
Demon's Glaive: Two-hand. This glaive is ornately designed, bearing a skull at the base of the blade. The blade itself is long and powerful, being able to crush whatever it cannot cut through. It binds to the wearer's soul, seeming weightless for them, but almost too heavy to lift for anyone else. +12 Str.
Power: This glaive can become engulfed in flames, dealing fire damage with each swing.

Dark Knight's Helmet: This horned helmet makes the wearer appear to look like a demon. Their eyes seem to turn red whenever it is worn, and their skin turns pitch black, radiating some sort of dark, misty energy.. +4 Con +2 Wis
Power: Strikes to the head cannot daze the wearer. 1/2 damage taken from all blows to the head.

Dark Knight's Spaulders: These spaulders are horned, to match the helmet. They seem to add a good deal of size to the wearer, apart from adding to the appearance of a demon. +6 Con
Power: Unbreakable. Cannot be pierced.

Dark Knight's Chestplate: This chest plate adds full protection for the wearer's torso. It seems very difficult to pierce, and stabbing it seems to be ineffective, as blades seem to bounce off the metal from thrusts. +4 Con +2 Str
Power: Elemental resist. No elemental attacks can harm the wearer's torso.

Dark Knight's Gauntlets: These gloves are large, fully covering the wearer's forearms. There is a spike on the elbow that the wearer can use to to add force to their strikes. +4 Dex +2 Str
Power: Blocking with the gloves nullifies all damage.

Dark Knight Set Bonus: +2 all stats

Yukimura Receives:
Demon Spear: Two-hand. This spear is strong and offers great reach for the wielder. The blade seems to be capable of piercing almost anything. +8 Str +4 Dex
Power: Piercing Blade. This blade seems to be able to pierce almost any material, even going through solid rock with ease.

Dark Warrior's Helmet: This helmet fits snugly on the wearer's head, seeming to hide all of their facial features. Their eyes turn yellow upon use, and their face and neck turn pitch black. +6 Con.
Power: Strikes to the head cannot daze the wearer. 1/2 damage taken from all blows to the head.

Dark Warrior's Spaulders: These spaulders are protective but small, adding little to the wearer's frame, but offering as much protection as possible. +3 Dex +3 Con
Power: Unbreakable. Cannot be pierced.

Dark Warrior's Chestplate: This chestplate offers maximum protection for the wearer's torso. It fits very snugly, and is not overly large, however, offering mobility as well. +3 Con +3 Dex
Power: Elemental resist. No elemental attacks can harm the wearer's torso.

Dark Warrior's Gauntlets: These gloves fit around the wearer's entire forearm, also equipped with spiked studs along the knuckles. +6 Str
Power: Blocking with the gloves nullifies all damage.

Dark Warrior Set Bonus: +3 Dex +3 Str +4 Con

Haji Receives:
Demon Blade: This blade is well-made, with padding on the blade just after the guard. The blade itself is long and sharp, and very strong. +4 Str +2 Dex
Power: When paired with the Dark Blade, the two blades can lock together at the base of their hilts. This causes the two weapons to become one double-bladed sword, and the two blades double in length. This creates the Devil Blade, with +6 Str +6 Dex.
Dark Blade: This blade is well-made, with padding on the blade just after the guard. The blade itself is long and sharp, and very strong. +2 Str +4 Dex

Dark Fighter's Spaulders: These spaulders offer a good deal of protection for the shoulders without being too large. They cover everything from the collarbone to the center of the bicep, fitting comfortably along the wearer's skin. +4 Con +2 Dex
Power: Unbreakable. Cannot be pierced.

Dark Fighter's Chestplate: This chestplate bears the mark of a lion on the front, and is completely dark. It latches on with straps at the sides, offering full protection for the wearer's torso. +6 Con
Power: Elemental Resist. No elemental attacks can harm the wearer's torso.

Dark Fighter's Gauntlets: These gloves seem to offer no bonuses when attacking, but the steel on them is strong, and seems highly unlikely to be pierced. +3 Str +3 Con
Power: Blocking with the gloves nullifies all damage.

Dark Fighter Set Bonus: +6 Dex +4 Str

Katsu-roshi Receives:
Demon Bow: Two-hand. This bow is very well-made, ornately designed with intricate details. When using it, the wearer no longer has the need for a quiver, being able to summon arrows out of thin air. +8 Str when firing, +4 Str when striking.
Power: Spirit Arrows. These arrows can be summoned out of thin air, and are much stronger than almost any arrows you could find or make. They can pierce most materials with ease, and you can have an unlimited number of them.

Dark Ranger's Headband: This headband seems to affect the wearer's appearance when wearing it. Their skin becomes noticeably darker, and their hair turns white. +4 Dex +2 Con
Power: Strikes to the head cannot daze the wearer. 1/2 damage taken from all blows to the head.

Dark Ranger's Shoulder Plates: These shoulder plates fit snugly around the wearer's shoulder, offering maximum mobility and protection. +3 Dex +3 Con
Power: Unbreakable. Cannot be pierced.

Dark Ranger's Breastplate: This breastplate offers the wearer maximum protection for their torso. It seems as though blades cannot pierce it so easily, as the metal is thick and durable. +6 Con
Power: Elemental Resist. No elemental attacks can harm the wearer's torso.

Dark Ranger's Gloves: These gloves are very durable, keeping the arms safe. They also seem to help your grip, so you can gather arrows and aim much easier! +3 Str +3 Dex

Takehiro equipped all of his armor after setting the chest down. He felt this ridiculous surge of strength go through his body, and it kind of excited him! Even after all of that crap, he felt like he could do it all again! So, there were no complaints from him, of course.

"Well, that was something, eh?" He looked around the room, laughing. DAMN they got lucky. "So we up for another run-through or we wanna crack this baby open?!"

Though it wasn't the easiest to get the armor on with one useless arm, having done it once somewhat, though he had had Katsumi's help at the time, eventually he managed it, and after he was done, he would make a makeshift sling to carry his arm in, because it sure wasn't going to help him now. The moment he placed the helmet on, he felt a surge of strength, as his eyes would widen in surprise. Not that he was complaining though!

"We've come this far, I say we go all the- What the hell!?"

Yukimura would exclaim after turning to Takehiro, taking a step back in surprise, his new spear held in his good hand.

"Amakusa-san, your eyes! They're red! And your skin turned black! And are you radiating some sort of dark, mist-like energy?"

Putting on all of the armor and holding the blades in my hands, I felt incredibly powerful. Like I could take a boulder to the chest and keep on moving. Granted, I did not want to take on a boulder.

Looking over at Takehiro when Yukimura exclaimed, my eyes widened in shock. He was right! Looking back at Yukimura, my eyes widened even further, if even humanly possible! "Sanada-san! Your eyes are yellow!"

They made it and Katsumi never felt so relieved. There was nothing else where they were and Katsumi flopped on the ground, belly down, arms extended like the wings of an angel. Inhaling deeply, cheek resting on the ground, she rested for a few moments before finally pushing herself up. Looking over at Haji, she saw that he seemed alright, and that Yukimura was tending to himself. No one seemed to need any help, and so she decided to look at what all she had collected.

While not one typically for armor, as it generally slowed one down, Katsumi had noticed how much faster and stronger the others seemed when wearing them. While wary of the supernatural (not believing it earlier, but how could she deny it now?), Katsumi's natural hunger for knowledge made her desire to know just what these items could do.

Sitting off in her own corner quietly, she first observed the new bow, turning it in her hands. Taking aim at nothing in particular, the girl noticed that an arrow materialized in her hand, eyes widening at the sight and whispering, "In... Incredible..."

Setting the bow aside, even though she desperately wanted to test it out, the woman began putting on the other armor. Her worst wounds were bruises on her jaw and back, so Kat didn't really have any difficulty putting the armor on. When all on, it felt as though there was a surge within her body. Despite the armor, she suddenly felt... far lighter, and even stronger. It was a sensation difficult to describe, but it was certainly otherworldly and she felt... powerful. Her stomach knotted in both nervousness and delight at that.

White caught her eye and Katsumi noticed that her hair, which cascaded down her front in its long ponytail was... white! And when her hands went to run through it, she gasped at noticing that her skin looked like almost like ash.

"My... hair..." whispered the archer, dark eyes widened as they gazed down in amazement. It looked like Haji's and a soft blush coloured her cheeks, not that it was noticeable with her dark skin. She then rolled her wrist, curiously observing her dark hand.

Spending a few more moments, Katsumi decided to go back to the rest of the group, standing up and walking over to them. Everyone was in shock about Takehiro's appearance and, in particular, his eyes, but with her transformation she wasn't too surprised. Plus, saying anything now would simply be stating the obvious and would be redundant after the other exclamations.

At this point, despite her normal reservations, the archer wished to continue onward. A spark of greed licked deep within her belly and she wanted to see what else this place held in store for them. Another treasure chest, more magical items, more... power. She wanted to know, and wanted to have it, to see what else there was, to quench her lust for knowledge and now power.

Rolling her shoulders and holding her bow at her side, Katsumi went to Haji's side, sticking closely to him once more, and said calmly, coolly, "Let's continue."

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro didn't know what the fuss was about, since he couldn't see his own eyes. BUT! He did see Yukimura's yellow eyes, and Haji's red eyes, and EVERYONE'S BLACK SKIN. WHAT JUST HAPPENED. AND WHAT WAS THIS ENERGY RADIATING OFF OF TAKEHIRO?!

"Woah... This is pretty cool."

He looked down at his forearms, turning them around a little, observing the mist that seemed to pour off of them. It was pure... darkness? What the hell? Did it do anything? Make him sick? Make other people sick? d'as weird, man!

"Alright, let's get going. I vote we take the right wing."

The mercenary moved the chest over to where it couldn't be seen, in case someone came in after them and tried to steal the treasure. Once it was secure and they were all certain they wanted to go on, Takehiro would start heading over toward the right wing.

[Sanada Yukimura]

"Morei-san, your eyes! They are red too! And Saito-san? Your eyes are... white..."

A look of surprise on his face, it was shocking, but at the same time, intriguing. All of them now had black skin, and Takehiro seemed to be radiating a dark, mist-like energy. Thrusting his spear with one hand, it seemed to cut the very air itself, and he would smile before turning to Takehiro. Though he had been poisoned from the knight before it disappeared, they had come this far now, to leave now seemed like an opportunity lost.

"I concur."

Following after Takehiro to the right wing after the mercenary had hid their treasure chest away, so no other individual or more happened to come in and take their hard earned treasure chest away, holding his spear in front of him. Having one arm out of commission was a hinderance, but he'd adjust to it.

[Morei Haji]

Holy crap! Katsumi's eyes really were white! And that hair... My eyes widened as I stared at it, it was just like mine! We were meant to be! I would've practically glomped her right there if the others weren't around. Cockblockers.

I examined my own weapons, wondering if there was anything significant about them. Observing the hilts, and seeing strange indentions at the tips of both, I got curious and placed the two hilts together, noticing that they fit. In response, the weapons clicked and suddenly, the blades extended to double their length on both ends!

"Holy..." This was friggin' awesome!

At the mention of the right wing though, a feeling of dread overtook me. They wanted to go back in?! As if though my body remembered it was poisoned still, I fell to my knees and looked up at Katsumi with pleading eyes since the rest of my face was hidden.

"Do we have to?"

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Yes. Everyone looked different. Despite being horrified by the supernatural earlier and her very logic-oriented world being shaken, Katsumi was incredibly cool-headed at this point and just wanted to get going. To spare the surprise, the nonsense. To be blunt, she wanted more shit like this.

To the right it was, it seemed, and Katsumi began to walk forward when she saw Haji next to her go on his knees and give her puppy eyes, pouting his lips. The archer stopped and turned, staring down at him, rather unimpressed. She loved him, there was no doubt, but her desire to go forward beat any sympathy she would have had for him being scared right now.

Apparently being the one to wear the pants in this relationship, Katsumi deadpanned and leaned down, small hand grabbing his arm and sort of yanking him up. Moving forward, the 4'10" woman dragged along the 5'7" man, likely in a pretty comedic manner for anyone watching.

"Yes. We need to search for more valuables. Stop pouting, Haji-kun," Katsumi stated rather matter-of-factly to her lover. In fact, it made her kinda want to kick him puppy punting!, and that was probably evident with her body language.

The group would be pulled into the right wing by yet another mystical force, much like the one that pulled them into the center chamber. The four "heroes" of this story would find themselves trapped inside, the doorway shutting itself with a dark void, something they should be accustomed to at this point.

Immediately upon entry, the group would be met with a wall. They were in a hall, it seemed, though one with no doors. They had the choice of going either left, or right. The left side seemed much longer than the right, and far along the hall it seemed to veer off in a right. The path directly to their right seemed much shorter, and had an immediate left.

"Right wing it i- WOAH, there's that again!"

Takehiro stumbled into the room, skidding to a halt as he regained his balance. Taking a single look behind him, he noticed the dark void, and was guessing this was very much like the previous chamber. They needed to get the chest before the void would dissipate... right? So they just needed to do this and get it over with. He was just hoping there weren't knights in here, too.

"Two paths, eh? I'm going... uh..."

Rather than speak up, Takehiro just started advancing to the left! He would be sure not to step on any funny-looking tiles, and he was wary of any holes in the wall. He didn't want to be riddled with spears or arrows or worse, expelled. As soon as the turn came up, he would hold his glaive out, pointing down the hall, wary of any monsters or traps or whatever. Same business.

[Sanada Yukimura]

"... I'm getting awfully tired of being pulled inside each time..."

Yukimura would sigh after stumbling into the right wing, caused by yet another mystical force, much like the one from the center chamber. After regaining his balance, he would look back and see the dark void barricading the doorway, just like in the other chamber. This was going to be the normal it seemed, especially if they decided to complete the left chamber. He just hoped they didn't have to deal with more knights again.

Though it was probably wise to follow after Takehiro and stay together, a part of him also wanted to explore on his own. In the end, his curiosity won out, but before he headed down the right path, he would pick up a few decent sized rocks, and would leave one at the entrance to the maze, as a marker. He'd then carefully head down the right path, avoiding any funny-looking tiles, and would carefully duck beneath any holes he came across. Once the turn came up, he would start by tossing a rock around the corner and down the hallway, to see if anything would happen.

And so my girlfriend dragged me into the next path, the mystical energy pulling us in seeming to aid her. Feeling better all of a sudden, I got back up to my feet, no longer pouting. These items certainly made us a lot stronger, and if we could find more of them...

"Eh? Takehiro? Sanada-san? Should we really be moving without discussing this as a group?" I would look down each path as they went their separate ways. Why the hell would they do that after the crap we just endured? What if we were separated and got jumped by those knights or some weird ass midget cow creature?

"Sigh... Katsumi-chan..." I spoke her name, as only she would be in earshot at this moment. "I'm going to follow Sanada-san since he's injured. I was hoping to stay close with you, but..." I looked towards Takehiro. The guy was a beast, and with his explosive fists, he was probably fine on his own.

"I'll let you decide who you want to give support to."

If Katsumi went to aid Takehiro, then I would go to help Yukimura on my own. If she came with me, I'd wait for her before proceeding, being sure to avoid any weird looking tiles and the holes in the walls just as Yukimura did before me.
