Wincing slightly from the shallow cut to his left upper arm, he would immediately engulf his left arm in fire to cauterize the wound, and as the ronin charged towards him, Yukimura would swing his whip sword in its whip form at the ronin, aiming to wrap it around one of the legs of the ronin and yank it back towards him, to trip the ronin and send him to the ground, before going to knock him out with a quick punch to his head, hopefully knocking the ronin unconscious so Yukimura could steal his clothes and get into the castle undetected.

"... It would be an honor to receive and wear armor crafted by a member of the Murai family. On my honor as a General of Oyakata-sama's army, I will lend you my aid to restore the name and prestige of the Murai family, which has been taken from you."
At Ryunosuke's revealing of whom it was that had indited the warrant of arrest on him, beneath his hood, Yukimura's eyes had flashed in shock. Though it was not visible, he was disturbed by the revelation, and though it was hard to believe, Yukimura did not think of Ryunosuke as a criminal. If anything, it made him more determined to help him and clear his name completely. Before he could speak however, he heard his full name called out, his mood quickly turning from disturbed to annoyed as he recognized the voice.
Though Nobutoyo was the nephew of Oyakata-sama, it annoyed Yukimura how condescending the man acted towards him, and he only tolerated it because of Lord Takeda. As Nobutoyo approached them, from the corner of his eye, Yukimura saw the cloak of Ryunosuke's shudder, followed by an explosion, as Yukimura raised both his arms in an X-shape in front of him to protect him from the blast, coughing as a cloud of smoke was generated. By the time the smoke had completely cleared, Yukimura saw Ryunosuke was gone, a scroll left in his place, the trees surrounding the area rustling gently. Picking the scroll up, he would quickly tuck it into the inner folds of his cloak before turning to Nobutoyo, his face still hidden from view.
"Just a conversation between a blacksmith that knew me from a few years ago. The better question though, is why are you so far from Kofu, Nobutoyo-san? This isn't exactly idle weather for you to travel in. You should find shelter as soon as possible."
As for Yukimura, unless he was stopped, he would turn and begin to make his way to a local village much further down the road, a rather large distance away than the village located nearby, but given his options, he'd rather spend as little time near Nobutoyo as he possible could.

Right off the bat, Yukimura knew this was going to be a difficult challenge. Left without any of his senses except for touch, he could only react at the last minute to the mini-typhoon Chiyome's doppelganger enveloped him in to keep him in place because of the clashing of his own Musou with hers, and using his spears, would launch himself up and flip over Sasuke's doppelganger just as it swung the long shadow blade it summoned from the ground. Landing behind Sasuke's doppelganger, Yukimura would then quickly leap backwards while simultaneously firing a barrage of fire blasts at Sasuke's doppelganger, before landing lightly on the ground and hold his spears in front of him. He'd then cloak himself in fire, the flames swirling like a whirlwind around him, making use of the clashing of Musou to his advantage.

With two more men having joined the relief aid, including one soldier Yukimura recognized from the training session Lord Takeda had recently put the army through, with strategies and courses of actions planned out, Yukimura would leave the small group of his men he had taken with him under Akataru's command, about five in total. Combined with the men and general Lord Iwasaki had given command of to Akataru and the soldier from the Azai, it was a decent enough force to combat the ronin guarding the castle and their leader. Without a moments hesitation, Yukimura would quickly take off towards the front of the castle, after spending some time scouting the area, and making sure to keep to the forest as much as possible, and when it was no longer possible, he would stick to the shadows as much as possible, moving quickly but quietly through the village.
He would try to reach one of the ronin that was guarding the front of the castle by himself and sneak up behind him, in order to knock him out and drag him out of sight and steal his clothing, in order to disguise himself as one of the ronin and get into the castle while the others were acting as a distraction and keeping as many of the other ronin preoccupied as long as possible.

(OOC: Going with the stealth route.)
After being summoned by Lord Takeda and informed of the plea for aid a small-time Daimyo, Lord Iwasaki Takeshi had sent out to the various territories surrounding what had previously been the territory he ruled over, though in the grand scheme of things, helping Lord Iwasaki would not change very much, if the Daimyo was able to re-take his castle and eventually rebuild his army back up, he would prove to be a handy, if minor ally to the Takeda faction. With this in mind, Lord Shingen decided to send Yukimura to help Lord Iwasaki out, not because Yukimura was the least busy of the Generals, but because Yukimura was one of the strongest in the Takeda faction, and his abilities would give Lord Iwasaki some of the aid he desperately sought.
Assembled in the forest grove with Lord Iwasaki, Yukimura wielded not his trademark dual jumonji-yari, but instead, his whip sword. While charging in and cutting down the ronin was a plausible option, it also ran the risk of all of them becoming exhausted before they even reached the ronin leader. Instead, Yukimura felt stealth was a better option. Knock out some of the ronin, steal their clothing, and make their way through the castle like they were on patrol, and eventually reach the ronin leader, without alerting the leader's men, if at all possible.
"If that is the case, then I vote we should sneak our way into the castle. Knock out some of the ronin patrolling the exterior, take their clothing, then make our way through the castle and eventually the ronin leader and confront him, as opposed to exhausting ourselves by rushing in and battling our way through all the ronin to reach the leader."

"... This goes far deeper than I thought, to find out such a man whom is high-ranked is with them..."
Though it had been established Yukimura knew about the incident, he did not know about the higher-up that had instated the warrant against Ryunosuke, wanting the blacksmith dead or alive. It was to be expected though, he was made a General when he was 17, about 4 years ago, and many of the events within the Takeda faction, were on a need to know basis for him. He only needed to know when it was necessary.
"Again, I must ask, why me? I do not mean to come off as rude, but why should I aid you reclaim your family honor? To eliminate all the Miki spies within the Takeda faction is what I wish to accomplish, but aside from that, what would I possibly gain from aiding you with your mission?"

As soon as he saw Shou emerge from the dome, lifted out by Sasuke and Chiyome's Musou, once he was out, the line of men in front of him would slowly dwindle down to nothing, and soon enough, it was his turn. Pulling his dual jumonji-yari free from his back the moment he stepped into the dome, immediately all his senses, except for touch, would be cut off, leaving Yukimura literally, in the dark. This exercise was one where he could not rely on his sight or hearing to help him.
What he had to rely on was a sense that he had been learning to refine, but had only managed a bit of progress in: his spiritual sense. Immediately engulfing the blades of his spears in fire, it would allow him to sense the clashing of his own spiritual energy with that of Sasuke and Chiyome's when their doppelgangers attacked, which would help him to fight back if and when he got the chance and opportunity.

"You are right, I don't, and I won't claim to know, because that would be an insult to you. I won't ask, nor will I force you to tell me. If you wish to tell me, that is your decision and choice. And turncoats and spies have been prevalent in Oyakata-sama's faction for quite some time now. We have weeded out most, but there will always be those that slip under our watch. Sasuke can't be everywhere to tell me of every potential spy within our ranks, and neither can I. But if you have been searching for me to clear your name, why wait all this time? Surely there was an earlier time that you could've seek me out."
Slipping off from the beam ledge, Yukimura would land on the ground below with a resounding boom, a large, deep impact crater formed beneath his feet. Brushing off the dust from the crater, he would look down at the cloaked figure in front of him from beneath his own hooded cloak, a look of mild interest that was not visible on his face.
"And why specifically me? Surely you know I am the youngest General in Oyakata-sama's faction, and I do not hold as much pull as many of the other Generals. Even my own father would be a better choice to seek out to clear your name, blacksmith."

"... Yes, I heard of such an incident. After some investigation, it turned out those five Takeda soldiers were actually ex-Takeda soldiers, and had defected to the Miki faction for quite some time. That had just been an act to smear the Takeda name and prove to the Miki faction of their loyalty. Oyakata-sama would never try to stop anyone from leaving his faction, but would try to help as much as he could, and if that is what they truly wanted, he would let them leave."
A voice would speak up from above the cloaked figure, if he looked up, he would see The Young Tiger of Kai crouched on a beam ledge above him, a ways below the one Yukimura had been perched on previously. After lunging off the beam ledge he had been up on prior, he had free-fallen through the air towards his target, the beam ledge below, and as soon as his target was in sight, both his hands shot out and grabbed hold of the ledge, using the momentum to swing himself up and over the ledge, landing on top of it in a crouching position.
"... Did you come here seeking revenge on the Takeda, and plan to do so by attacking me, blacksmith?"

From beneath the hood of his black cloak, Yukimura's eyes would snap open, though he would make no sudden movements. Instead, he would slowly turn his head to look slightly behind him, the upper half of his face hidden in shadows, leaving just his lower face visible, as he would watch the cloaked figure standing behind him.
"... Not today. Today has been a simple day of spending some time for myself. And if I am? Who are you, and how do you know my name?"
It was a legitimate question, as Yukimura's six coin necklace was not visible beneath his cloak, and the only indication he was of the Takeda faction was the Mon of the Takeda he bore on the back of his cloak. With his dual jumonji-yari resting on his back, his hands hovered nearby them, ready to pull them free from his back and defend himself if necessary.

Theme Song: The AlmightyAbove the deserted but drenched streets of a small village in Japan, early in the morning, perched on the roof of a relatively in well shape temple, several shiisa statues still stood, dotting the temple like sentries... and one that was not a statue at all. Seated high above the street in the pouring rain, the intense flames surrounding Yukimura's entire body evaporating the rain and keeping him dry, he was doing important Takeda General stuff, because that's what Generals do. Okay not really, he was spending some time by himself, as he sometimes did when he had some time off. He certainly wasn't up here to take in the amazing view of the small village and crop fields, as the heavy rain made it hard to make out anything at all, and the most he could see was the outlines of the occasional villager running for shelter in their hut from the rain.

Despite his men's previous success at proving their stamina, Lord Shingen still was not convinced they had toughened up, and as such, had commanded them to complete another training exercise, this one putting everyone's physical prowess to the test, including Yukimura's. A distance running course having been set up that ran throughout Kofu, standing at the entrance of a forest, which marked the start of the course, Yukimura's face was set as tough as flint, more so because of the full-body weighted gear that was mandatory, not to mention sitting and watching nearby, his banner fluttering gently in the wind, was Lord Shingen. Already feeling the effects of the full-body weighted gear on him, as soon as he was told to start, Yukimura would take off at a controlled and regulated pace. If he tried to move as fast he could to get it over with faster, he would tire himself out, and end up not getting far at all. Starting out through the forest, though he nearly fell over as soon as he started moving, after a few minutes of moving along the forest path, he grew somewhat adjusted to the weight, though he was sure even a light breeze would knock him over.
After reaching about 10 meters along the course, with wooden signs stuck in the ground every 10 meters along the course, to mark the distance traveled, already Yukimura felt like dropping straight to the ground from exhaustion, but if he gave up now, not only would he disappoint Lord Shingen, but he would be disappointed in himself, for giving in so quickly. With renewed determination, he would soldier on, and after a long, agonizing 10 minutes or so, with the path twisting through the forest every so often, causing his muscles to scream at him in agony, eventually he reached the 20 meter mark, but would not stop there, and continue onwards, and another agonizing 10 minutes later, reached the 25 meter mark. Proceeding to the river at a quick but steady pace, he would cautiously dip on foot into the river, to literally test the waters out. Thankfully the temperature wasn't bone-chilling, and the current wasn't as fast as he thought it would be, and he would proceed to wade into the river and make his way upstream, though this would be no easy task by any means.
Remaining focused on the task at hand, it wasn't easy the first time he had been commanded to go upstream through a river, and it certainly wasn't any easier the second time, and each step taken felt like a mile. The height of the river and the current wasn't helping either, as it started out at his knees, and had steadily risen to his his thighs, and it felt like he was fighting against Ryujin, the God of the Sea himself with this current. Though the remaining three quarters of the river were absolutely exhausting, with the halfway point of the river marked with a 45 meter sign, but with each step taken, the mountain path drew closer and closer in sight. By the time he reached the final stretch of the river, his entire body, particularly his arms, and legs, were on fire and ached, and he just wanted to curl up into a ball and die, but the end of the river marked the 60 meter mark, and he would trudge onward. Once out of the river, Yukimura felt much better, but he was done. As much as he wanted to prove he was capable of getting up the mountain path, he just couldn't run any further, and would collapse in front of the mountain path, his breaths ragged, as he just laid there completely exhausted, and after regaining some strength back, would stick a small banner with the six coin crest of his family on it into the ground at the 60 meter sign, to mark the distance he managed to cover, before picking himself up and make his way back home.

Though it was apparent that Yukimura was one of the strongest General in the Takeda faction, despite being so young, Yukimura did not think much of his own strength. In fact, he saw himself as still much weaker than Lord Shingen, which is why when Lord Shingen ordered him to take on another trial, Yukimura readily complied, which is why he was standing in front of another waterfall located in Kofu. With weighted gear on his wrists and ankles, this trial was much like a portion of the trail of Amaterasu he had to complete. Standing on a rock platform located at the base of the waterfall, a pool of water surrounding him, and with no where to go but up, Yukimura would leap towards the waterfall and would immediately feel the powerful current push him downwards, but before he was about to fall down into the pool of water, he managed to grab hold of a rock jutting out, as he held on for dear life.
With the only direction to go being up, and from what he could see, there were enough air pockets scattered throughout the waterfall that he would be able to get through without drowning... and he was determined to prove he was strong enough to get through it. With nothing to lose, and everything to gain, he would begin the arduous climb up the rock wall, using all the strength in his legs and arms to pull him up and fight against the powerful current of the waterfall. It would be a slow and arduous climb, but he was determined to reach the top of the waterfall through his own sheer physical and mental strength. Though the water continued to batter against his head and shoulders, sending him sliding down the cliff face every so often, Yukimura would not give up, and was determined to get to the top, no matter how hard it was. His fingers starting to bleed from the tight grip he had on the rock holds, making the grips slippery and harder to hold onto, gritting his teeth, Yukimura would re-double his efforts, he was not going to give in and give up!
Despite his arm and leg muscles burning and screaming in agony at him, especially with the weight of the gear dragging him down, through narrowed eyes, he could make out the top of the waterfall looming above him, the water crashing down on him even harder, but with the air pockets, he could catch breathes every so often and continue onwards, no matter how slow the climb was for him. No matter how difficult it was for him, as The Young Tiger of Kai, Yukimura was determined to become as strong as Lord Shingen, and with bleeding fingers, burning and numb arms, legs, and shoulders, he would climb the last portion of the waterfall, before finally reaching the top, collapsing on the side of the small pool of water located at the top of the cliff. Taking in deep, ragged breathes, with the sun shining down on him, though Yukimura was exhausted, he had made it, and had overcome the trials and tribulations that came with the climb.
"I did it...I did it OYAKATA-SAMAAAAAAAAA!"

Despite General Katsuyori's reluctance to acknowledge the capabilities of the soldiers, including his own men, in the end, he would give them the credit that was due, and told them to take a break before moving on to the next exercise, which would be commanded by Head Priestess Mochizuki Chiyome and Yukimura's own captain of the Sanada Ten Braves, Sarutobi Sasuke. Gratefully taking the break, he would take the opportunity to finish drying the rest of his men's armor and clothing, before moving on to the Koboyashi unit, and Shou himself as well.
It wasn't much, but it would at least help them to warm back up for the next exercise, and Yukimura had a feeling he knew what the exercise would be like, and it might involve some combat training, but with Sasuke, it was hard to tell. Taking a long drink of water, to parch his throat, he would feel his throat loosen up and his headache fade, which meant he had been heavily dehydrated, especially given how physically exhausting the exercise had been, and would rest up for the exercise ahead.

"... That sounds like Lord Mōri Motonari's daughter's puppy alright..."
Yukimura would murmur beneath his breath, all the while with this expression on his face: ^__^;. That puppy certainly caused the family running the inn quite a bit of trouble okay a lot of trouble and grief, and he was going to have to speed up his search for the puppy, because he was sure he was going to come across more groups that the puppy caused trouble for.
"You have my thanks for the information. It's not much, but here..."
Along with the money he would give them for food for his journey, he would also give the two daughters a little bit more money out of his own pocket, as compensation for the grief Koromaru caused them. That, and he didn't quite want to be ranted to all day by their father. After bowing to the daughters and their mother, giving the two daughters an easygoing smile that would make most girls blush, he would head out of the inn and move quickly north, up the road. It probably wasn't hard to figure out where the puppy had been, he'd just look for a trail of possibly angry people.

FutureshockWe plan to continue with the thread, but we've fulfilled the requirements. Also, both Freya and I would like the EXP for our reward.

"... Yes, but only because the ex-bandit leader had grown stronger in the period between then and now. But I had no intention of killing him, simply beating him in a fight. And I suspected as much, so you could understand my hesitation in telling you my full name. I am General Sanada Genjirou Yukimura, of Lord Takeda Shingen's faction. I did not know then you were well met with Takehiro-san back when I helped you, but regardless of if you were well acquainted with Takehiro-san and the ex-bandit chief under his command or not, I still would have saved you."
Lifting his right arm up, he would hold his right fist over his heart, in response to Brandt's salute to him, his expression just as set as hard as flint as Brandt's was. He required no thanks for his deed, for it was enough for him that Brandt would speak to Takehiro on the matter and help Yukimura achieve the redemption he sought.
"... You have my thanks [Br-Br-Brandt Solveig.]"
His face at first still as expressionless as before, a smile would then appear on his face, and it was clear that Yukimura had made a conscious effort to say Brandt's name as clear as he could in English.
"Here, your meat skewer is ready, straight from roasting over the fire. Careful, it is hot, but it will taste the best freshly cooked."
Handing over one of the skewers to Brandt, the other in his other hand, Yukimura would take a bite from his. Yukimura did not believe in luck, but he did believe in hope. And he also believed it had been the intention of the Gods for him to meet and save Brandt, so he could tread down the path of redemption he so desperately sought.

"... Alright. But be careful Hiroshi-san."
While Shou asked the newcomer to their group to watch his back, Yukimura would detect any traps in the ceiling and walls that could potentially hit Katsumi, since the traps on the ground would not affect her. With their combined efforts, Katsumi would manage to reach the Daimyo's chest unhindered and unharmed, and once she made her way back to the entrance, all four of them would be pulled out of the left wing and it would seal shut behind them with a steel door in the way.
"Excellent job Hiroshi-san. Shall we tackle the right wing now?"

Recently Yukimura had been swamped with various jobs for the Takeda faction, including the current one he had been tasked with. Which is why he was hiking through the snow, wearing weighted anklets, carrying a wooden crate of weapons and gunpowder on his back, to a destination at least 20 miles from Lord Takeda's camp. What a fantastic job Lord Shingen had commanded he complete. As he trudged through the snow, though the wind was fierce, his fire Musou made the hike more bearable, keeping Yukimura warm despite the low temperatures, not to mention the snow that fell quickly, reaching up to his ankles throughout his hike.
Though it was tempting to stop and make a small snow cave for himself to rest in, since 20 miles was not exactly a hop, skip, and a jump away, and his fire Musou would keep him arm while he slept, he was afraid the snow and wind would turn into a full on blizzard, completely burying him and leaving him trapped, and that was something he did NOT want to happen. With night rapidly falling, forming a fireball in his hand to light his way through the falling snow, despite his exhaustion from covering quite a bit of miles, he would push his aching, tired body forward. As time passed on and more miles were covered (though it felt like forever to Yukimura), he heard the sound of muffled voices issue from behind him, causing him to halt immediately in his tracks. Bandits, and the none-too pleasant sounding kind either. Slowly turning around while pulling his dual jumonji-yari free from his back, his eyes narrowing as he searched for the sources of the voices, he could just barely make out the sounds of footsteps crunching through the snow, coming at from all sides. It seemed they intended to surround and overwhelm him with sheer numbers.
Yukimura would not let that happen though, and engulfing the blades of his spears in fire the moment they all charged at him, he would spin as fast as he could, the fire melting the snow surrounding his feet, and let loose a whirlwind of fire, which he liked to call "Flame Wheel." The blades of his spears connecting with the bandits that charged at him first, a few more would attempt to take him down, but when they too fell too his blade, the others remaining would retreat in fright, seeing it wasn't worth their lives or the effort. The confrontation further exhausting Yukimura, on top of his already exhausted state from the journey, with a sigh, he would resume the hike, pushing himself through the snow the rest of the night, and by daybreak, he was still 5 miles away from his destination. Despite how utterly exhausted he was, he would continue onwards, and eventually, he reached his destination, stumbling through the entrance way. Carefully placing the crate down on the floor, afterwards, he would grab some food and then take a very, very, long nap. That had been rough...

Just as the sweatdrop on Lord Mōri's wife's head grew in size and hung lower, so too did the sweatdrop on the back of Yukimura's head increase in size and hang lower upon seeing Lord Mōri's daughter move to hug his other leg after Lord Mōri had crossed his legs, though Yukimura's face would remain nothing but respectful for the Daimyo of Chugoku.
"That is more than sufficient Lord Mōri. And hm?"
Crouching down so he was face to face with Kikuhime as she ran over to him and pulled out a scroll from within her pink floral kimono, Yukimura would gratefully take the scroll from her, giving the young girl a kind smile.
"I shall bring Koro-chan back to you safely, Kikuhime-chan. You have quite the remarkable puppy, considering he managed to get all the way to Shinano."
Watching as she turned and ran back to Lord Mōri, albeit slower this time, after straightening up, just as Yukimura turned and began to set out for Shinano, he would immediately halt in mid-step, his back to Lord Mōri, as he would turn his head slightly to look at him.
"As do I Lord Mōri. Oyakata-sama greatly respects your tactical prowess, and considers it an honor if he is even on your level. Thank you greatly Lady Mōri, may Amaterasu-no-Okami continue to bless all of you."
Upon leaving Chugoku and on his way to Shinano, Yukimura would indeed open the scroll, staring utterly speechless at the painting of Koromaru. Either Kikuhime was an artistic prodigy, or one of the court painters composed it for her (clearly it was Shiji Hiroyoshi, if that was the case). Upon returning to Lord Takeda's territory, spotting the nearby roadside restaurant and tucking the rolled up scroll inside his jacket, Yukimura would enter inside, as he would flash the Mon of the Takeda he wore on the back of his cloak, before speaking.
"Forgive my rudeness, but have you seen a small white puppy around lately? He may or may not be worn out from traveling a great distance, and any information you have, however small, would be greatly appreciated."

Frowning upon seeing a man that not only dressed similarly to him, but also appeared similar to him facial-wise, Yukimura had no idea he had just met his descendant, Kazuya Hikari. All he knew was, he was incredibly confused by the two girls laughing and giggling at his words, and why the girl called Kata-san blushed at his words. Feeling a tug on his clothing, Yukimura would turn his head slightly and crouch down while inclining his head to Katsumi, giving her a comforting squeeze of her hand.
"I... don't know myself, Katsumi-san. And I want to go home too, this place is scaring me..."
Giving Katsumi another comforting squeeze of her hand, if this was an anime (hur hur), he'd have giant question mark above his head. Series? Character? Original character? Bishōnen? None of these words made any sense to him! Yukimura looking utterly lost as the boy with spiky hair came right up to Katsumi, though she tried to hide from him by moving to Yukimura's side, the boy just kept following after her, causing Yukimura's head to move in circles and end up dizzy from it. The moment the boy placed his hands on Katsumi's shoulders though, Yukimura had begun to form a fireball in his hand and was ready to shove it into the boy to knock him away, but Katsumi used her Musou and created a blast of wind while freaking out, which was more than sufficient enough to knock the boy back.
Quickly rushing over to Katsumi as she went back to clinging to him, Yukimura would gently pull her behind him, hiding her from view once more, only to stare at the pink-haired girl, not noticing Katsumi had fallen back behind him. G-gay!? He was not even lovers with Katsumi, much less gay with her! Obviously it's Masamune Date he's gay for! Kazuya palming his face hearing Natsumi (the pink-haired girl) point at Katsumi and call her the uke, then point at Yukimura and call him the seme, he would move over and crouch down beside Takashi after he had moved over to Katsumi, while Yukimura had quickly whirled around and crouched down in front of Katsumi, hovering nearby her comfortingly.
"Katsumi-san was it? I'm Hikari Kazuya. Cosplay, or costume play, involves teenagers or young adults, or both, dressing up as their favorite characters from a manga or anime series. Takashi, go and get Miyuki (the girl with the pixie-cut) and Kata. Let's leave Ichiro (guy with spiky hair) and Natsumi to themselves. They're going to be a while..."
Yukimura extending his hand out for Katsumi to take, if she took his hand, he would then gently lift her up and hold onto her hand until she had regained her balance, and letting Kazuya lead the way into the building, he would continue to hold onto her hand comfortingly, and also because he didn't want to lose her (sounds like a line from a manga lolol). Miyuki and Kata joining the group by this time, leaving Ichiro and Natsumi to continue bickering, Yukimura would give Kata another easygoing smile while continuing to stick close to Katsumi.
"And what is your name? You said I know your name, but all I said was Sanada Yukimura."
"But that IS my name! I am General Sanada Genjirou Yukimura of Lord Takeda Shingen's army!"
"I've heard of getting into character, but this is really getting into character. You sound like you really are Sanada-san."
"But I AM Sanada Yukimura, The Young Tiger of Kai!"
"Kazuya, I give up..."

Quickly whirling about in confusion, wielding his dual jumonji-yari as he was bombarded from all sides by noises, as another great metal beast came charging towards Yukimura from behind, he would engulf the blades of his spears in fire, to attempt to scare the beast, but it would do nothing to halt its rampage. Before he could bring his spears down on the creature to stop it, shouts issuing from the nearby sidewalk would catch Yukimura's attention, as the great metal beast came to a stop in front of him, the people trapped inside shouting at him. Feeling his hand being grabbed as he was dragged by Katsumi over to the teenagers that had called out to them, the flames engulfing his spears would die down and eventually dissipate, as Yukimura would frown slightly, but nonetheless, was grateful for their help, and would bow to them as well. Just as confused and disoriented as Katsumi was, being suddenly surrounded on all sides and bombarded with questions certainly didn't help, and Yukimura would clutch his spears close to his chest, ready to defend himself and Katsumi if necessary. Glancing over and down at the girl who wore a blue dress after noticing she had been staring at him (mostly his abs), as she blushed slightly and glanced over at her friends and Katsumi for a bit before returning to looking at Yukimura, though he was still confused, he would give the girl an easygoing smile that would make most girls blush (or in her case, even more). Before he could even say anything about Katsumi's gender however, he would turn to the girl in the blue dress, his index finger pointed up in the air and his mouth open, before closing it and lowering his finger to answer her. "Of course! If I do not train, then I cannot protect those close to me, especially my friends and family!"Bombarded with more questions, as he felt Katsumi clutch his arm and hide behind him, Yukimura would take over talking, even though he had no idea what the teenagers were even talking about. They seemed nice enough, if very eccentric, and one incredibly serious, but they had helped him and Katsumi out, so they couldn't be all that bad. "Of course they are real! If they were not, then why would we be using them? These jumonji-yari were crafted by Oyakata-sama's best blacksmith, Murata Tadashi-sama! And Hiroshi-san's bow was once wielded by a dark knight, which contains mystical properties within it! Streets? Is that what we were in just now? I do not know of these drugs you speak of, or this imagination, and the only alcohol I drink is sake or wine made by the best fruit-growers in Kofu! And what do you mean by real weapons aren't allowed? Are you saying people wield fake ones? These spears were crafted with OVERFLOWING PASSION by Murata-sama, they are not fakes! He is the best at forging weapons and armor, they are very real! And how would he turn to dust once he is twenty-five? Oyakata-sama is well older than twenty-five, and he is anything but dust!"Walking alongside the group of teenagers as they made their way to the con-ven-she-on, whatever that was, standing by the entrance to the giant building made of metal and glass, reaching to the sky, a young man dressed similar to Yukimura could be seen, his arms casually folded across his chest and a spear that looked incredibly realistic held loosely in one hand, with a half-bored or half-asleep expression on his face, whichever one was interpreted first. "You guys certainly took your sweet time getting here. What, was the foot traffic that murderous? And who are those two with you guys?""Heh, sorry Kazuya, we saw them standing in the street trying to take out some cars. Figured it'd be better to bring them along so they don't end up kicking the bucket, since they were getting really into it. Uh... What are your names anyways?""... You didn't even get their names? Really now...? Though one looks like Sanada Yukimura from Sengoku Basara...""What? How do you know my name!? Though that is not my full name... And what is Sengoku Basara? Give me your name and I shall give you mine!""... You weren't kidding when you said they were really getting into it.""Toldja."
