Your info looks good, just copy and paste it into the template from here: sengokustory.proboards.com/thread/4/character-sheet-templateIf you scroll down, we actually have the codes and everything for the table right in that thread. Just copy and paste it into your post and then hit the BBCode tab at the bottom of the text box when you edit your post and then hit preview again. That'll make it easier to enter your information. You also don't need to write in non-stat giving items in your inventory. So you can just leave it with your starting weapon! Once you get that done, just copy and paste your stats into your signature. You also get a bonus of +5 con and double money from events for not being part of a faction. Approved though! |

Running into the fight... that's unlike you Noel. Now normally I'd stop someone from interfering in a fight like this. But to be honest. The fight was boring as hell. And to see one of my men so filled with the drive to fight. I decided to let it go. Turn a.... blind eye if you will. Guess I was still pissed about that comment. After Noel jumped in the fight... didn't really get much better. It was still pretty weak. Another surprise happened when another recruit jumped, engaging Noel and allowing Naotora to take care of the mouth.
Let's see how you handle this one Noel. Wait... Did you just pick her up in mid air? Are you flirting with her? God dammit Noel. I turned back to Naotora and the other recruit. He tried using her own chain against her? Wrapping himself in it? I chuckled. I guess this guy had a death wish. Before Naotora could smash. Noel decided to jump in again. I face palmed and walked slowly behind Noel, kicking him in the back sending him flying to his sword.
"God dammit Noel. Couldn't you leave well enough alone?"
I turned to the recruit that had started this fight.
"Good, cause ya' didn't pass. If Naotora's last attack had hit, you'd be leaving here in a body bag."
I gave Nao a nod, "Good work! And don't worry. We'll get that chain of yours repaired."
Then finally I turned to the last recruit to have entered the fray. She showed guts coming into Oshu and fighting like she did.
"So, are you just one of Noel's friends? Or did you come here to join us?"

It looked like my men were a bit disgruntled about what that guy said. After his smart ass comment, it looked like the other recruits were a bit afraid to strike forward. Probably because they figured I was pissed and were too afraid to fight an angry dragon. I gripped my katana tighter and electricity pulsed around it for a moment, making a loud buzzing noise. Before I could even attack, it looked like my shadow struck out instead. The wind blew my hair slightly as the large iron-ball went flying past me toward the only recruit with balls enough to make me angry before fighting me. I smirked a bit and sheathed my katana.
“Fine! Nao will be your opponent! And I’ll make sure no one interferes.”
“Like anyone would need to!”
“Naotora’s gonna beat the pulp out of that guy!”
“Guys… I think I’m in love with her.”
I crossed my arms and stood there. So this was how Kojuro felt all the time huh? It felt dreadfully boring just watching people fight instead of fighting myself. Though it looked like the men were pretty happy to see Nao in action. One of them even started up a betting pool. I turned towards him and smirked. It was time to mess with my men a little bit.
“Guy with the mouth? I didn’t know you were fighting Noel.”

“Alright you lugs! Look sharp! Boss Katakura should be here to inspect you guys any second now!”
A tall muscular man with a pompadour hairstyle shouted at the new recruits. You could tell from his voice he was trying a little hard to be badass. He spoke to a line group of people that were lined up, 1 by 1, shoulder to shoulder. These were the new recruits that wanted to join the Date army. Behind the man with a pompadour, a large group of people stood. That was the Date army. They were clad in blue kimino and hakama with black armor, a few of them adding their own little flare. All in all they looked more like a group of roughians and rogues than an army.
“HUUUH?! Is this it!”
Enter me, the badass fearless leader of the Date clan. I wore my special one of a kind blue coat and black armor. Of course… my six swords were at my hips, with the sheaths held together in a diagonal fashion resembling dragon wings. After all, what kind of One-Eyed Dragon would I be if I didn’t have my wings on me. I didn’t bother with my helmet for now, so my semi-long brown hair fluttered slightly as this wind blew.
“B-Big Boss! What are you doing here?! I thought Boss Katakura was going to run the recruiting.”
“Oh come on! It’s fine. I know what I’m doing. But seriously. This turnouts smaller than I thought.”
I walked down the line of recruits, looking them up and down. I wasn’t quite sure what to make of them. Kojuro had a way of peering into a man’s soul and telling what kind of soldier he or she’d make. One thing was for sure. I wasn’t looking for any chumps. I had to come up with a way to test these recruits. I turned my back to them as I thought about it. Hmm… Well you know what, there was one way I could judge a person’s soul without even having to talk to them. I turned back to face all of the recruits and unsheathed my katana.
“ALRIGHT BOYS! LET’S HAVE OURSELVES A FIGHT. ALL OF YOU NEW RECRUITS AGAINST ME! I’ll even give you all a handicap; I’m only going to use one sword,” I turned to face my army with a smirk. “If any of you boys want to throw down, join in as well!”
“What?!”
“A fight with Big Boss?!”
“This isn’t going to end well!”

Okay then here's a couple proposed rules.
*When you join a faction, you cannot change it until at least 30 Days from that date. So for example if you join Date today February 12th. You can't leave it until March 14th.
*When changing factions you lose all faction bonuses from the previous faction and gain the faction bonus of the new faction.
*When leaving a faction you lose any items given to you by that faction's leader. For example if I gave out an item like: "Date Vest - A vest with the symbol of Date on the back of it. +3 Dex." And if you left Date you would give up the vest when you left Date.
Does that seem fair to everyone?

So an idea I had was throwing around some of these War Lords IC and make some recruitment and training quests.
How would you guys like to see those kind of quests being around?
And if staff does do it, what kind rewards would you guys be interested in receiving? IE: Money, items, stat points.
OR if you guys have any other ideas about any other quests. Just go ahead and post them right up here.
