The Oda Faction

Allied with: Azai, Asakura, Tokugawa

The Oda, led by Oda Nobunaga, seem to be the most ambitious of all the armies seeking to conquer Japan. They are based in Owari, at Anotsu castle. The men under the banner of Oda are some of the most talented in the country, making them a force to be reckoned with.

The Tokugawa Faction

Allied with: Oda, Azai, Asakura

Led by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the Tokugawa faction hails from Mikawa. They have a strong allegiance with the Oda faction. Under their banner are the assassin, Hattori Hanzo, and the legendary Honda Tadakatsu.

The Azai Faction

Allied With: Oda, Asakura, Tokugawa

The Azai are led by Azai Nagamasa, and their ties to the Oda are strong. Oda Nobunaga's sister, Oichi, is Azai Nagamasa's wife. The Azai have also sworn an allegiance with the Asakura.

Takeda Faction

Allied With: None

The Takeda are a fierce army, known for their cavalry. Takeda Shingen is a fierce ruler and a powerful Samurai. The Sanada clan fights under their banner, and this proves to be a huge boost in their strength. They focus on conquering and governing surrounding territories, but their recent priority has been to stamp out Uesugi Kenshin of Echigo.

Led by the God of War, Uesugi Kenshin, the Uesugi faction is certainly fearsome. Despite their smaller territory gain, they seem to rival the force of the Takeda army.

The Date Faction

The Date Faction originally started off as a way to protect the area of Oshu. Field workers and common men first made up this faction. Now they dream of unifying all of Japan under their power. The Date Faction has a sense of warrior honor, but has been described as rough and edgy. A warrior with ambition is the type of warrior that the Date seek. They are led by the fabled One-Eyed Dragon.

The Mōri Faction

“Go forth my pawns! Beyond your death is my victory.”

Allied with: Saika Renegades

The Mōri faction, currently led by Mōri Motonari, resides in the Aki province by the Seto Sea. Known for their leader's fearsome strategic brilliance and ruthlessness for those who oppose him or try to encroach on his territory, this group is feared and avoided by many. No matter how many men are lost or what Motonari must do, it is widely known that this faction will do whatever necessary to protect and sustain its borders and people. The Chosokabe faction often tries to take their land and are hated enemies of the Mōri.

Watanabe Hajime – Right Hand Man. One of Motonari's most important and most trusted generals, after years ago in battle Hajime saved Motonari's life.
Nomi no Ōkata – Concubine & Spy. Okata is one of the few people Motonari is close to and truly trusts, and she is his number one spy, gathering information on enemies and sniffing out those who seek to or who are committing treason against Motonari.
Mōri Takamoto – Eldest Child & Firstborn Son. Another one of Motonari's trusted generals, his son sticks to his father and his loyalty is unwavering.
Mōri Motoharu – Second Son. Another trusted general and a capable fighter.
Mōri Takakage - Third son. Despite his young age, he is a most capable general and both wise and powerful.
