Continuing to keep up the roars of encouragement to his men still stuck on the other side of the shore, with their General believing so fervently in them, they would not lose hope, and with their spirits rejuvenated, would tackle the exercise with OVERFLOWING PASSION, powering their way through the currents through pure physical power. It was no easy task, but soon enough, all of Yukimura's men would make it across the lake, completing the exercise. Proud of their success, having utilized his fire Musou and dried his armor up with heat energy, as each of his men had finished the exercise and came up on shore, Yukimura had dried their armor for them, to prevent rust from settling in. They had done a good job, all of them.

With plenty of loud encouragement from their General, instead of losing spirit from constantly being tossed back out onto the shore, Yukimura's men felt greatly pumped up and spirited, and with a loud roar (influenced by Yukimura no less), they would tackle the exercise with vigor, and some would follow the strategy of their one fellow soldier that managed to get across, but changing it up slightly, as instead of leaping up from the bottom of the lake, they would give a powerful kick to break through the water and leap out like a dolphin before landing in the water, repeating the leaps to get across quickly and avoid being caught by the current.
As for the others, they would take off with a running start and leap into the water, before powering their way through the water, sticking as close to the surface as they could, to cross the currents below as quickly as possible. With this strategy, most would get across the lake, but there were still a few tossed back onto the starting shore. But it could be completed, and spur them on to get across the lake and move onto the next exercise.

After being led to a small cave system located underground in Kofu by two soldiers, a good 20 miles underground, once Yukimura came to a stop in front of the entrance way, the two soldiers would turn and leave him alone, as they were certain Yukimura would be able to make his own way back to his home. Watching the two soldiers leave, once they were out of sight, Yukimura would turn back to the cave entrance. Reminiscent of the first trial of Amaterasu he tackled, he had to make his way from one side of the cave to the other, and with a deep breath, Yukimura would step into the cave. The cave pitch-black, just like the trial, the large difference between this and the God trial was almost immediately, all his senses would be cut off, like something had shut them down arbitrarily. Left without all five senses, Yukimura would panic almost immediately, and start to stumble through the cave system blindly (hur hur), not caring which way he went, as long as it was forward. Bumping into the rough rock wall every so often, his mind consumed by panic, his breathing would become labored, not only from steadily growing tired from running, but also from the truth slowly sinking in: he was lost, and without any of his senses to help him, felt like he was going to wander through the cave forever, trapped inside, and never finding his way out. Soon his throat began to feel constricted, his physical state reflecting his mental state, like the darkness was suffocating him from the inside out.
After going forward for what felt like an eternity, tripping over a rock on the ground, he would tumble forward, instinctively throwing his hands out to catch himself as he landed on the ground roughly, pain shooting through his arms as he was pretty sure he had scrapped his palms. But the pain did more than just make him curse colorfully, it also snapped him out of his blind panic-stricken state. Even though he could not see, smell, hear, touch, or taste, he could still feel pain, and in order to navigate through the cave system, it would just like if he was blindfolded. Even if he couldn't see, he could still react. There was difference between the presence of living things, and non-living things, but he would have to be very careful every step of the way. Pushing himself to his feet, with his mind starting to calm down and refocus, he would start forward once more, but this time, he would use what was essentially a sixth sense, chi, to navigate his way through. Though he stumbled over some loose rocks every so often, for the most part, he would steadily make progress through the underground cave system, his mind slowly returning to its usual calm state, and his breathing, no longer labored and constricted, was now normal. After what felt like a long time, he would stumble out of the cave into the light, as he felt the warm sunlight of the afternoon shine down on him, the literal light at the end of the tunnel.
But now that he had reached the other side, he had to make his way back through the cave once more, back to where he started. With a mildly exasperated sigh, Yukimura would take in as much of the sunlight as he could, before turning around and stepped into the pitch-black cave system once again. Once more, stumbling through the cave system, at least it wasn't as bad as the first time. Granted, it was just as horrible to navigate as before, but this time, he was prepared mentally, and he spent less time tripping over rocks and bumping into the rocks walls. By the time he stumbled out of the cave entrance, instead of sunlight greeting him, it was now the rays of sunset that greeted him, meaning it had taken him the rest of the afternoon to get back through, and the day was nearly done. But right now, he didn't care about that. He was out of the cave system, and though his mind had nearly been shredded from panic, he had come out of this more enlightened, his mind even clearer, and that was what Lord Shingen wanted him to achieve from this. Yukimura had never been more happy to see the sun in his life, and would begin to make his way back to his home.

With about 99% of his men tossed back onto the shore that they all started on, with only one man managing to get across, and by utilizing a clever way to get across the lake, it was clear General Katsuyori was not happy that both Yukimura and Shou had completed his exercise so quickly. Taking a running start, the soldier used his spear to vault himself as far as he possibly could, and once he crashed into the water, as the current took hold of him and drag him under, before he could be dragged back and tossed out of the water, would coil himself up like a spring, and then push off of the bottom of the lake and come leaping out of the water. He'd then repeat this strategy to cross the lake, all the while, Yukimura giving loud encouragement to the rest of his men. Crossing the lake, despite the strong currents beneath the surface, could be done, they'd just have to think outside the box, as it were.

With the piece of armor he received from Katsuie augmenting his strength and abilities, Yukimura, along with the others that had been at the armory with him, would break through the line of the Imagawa camp easily and cut down any that stood in their way. Making sure his men kept the group tight and coordinated with each other, he would have them link up with the main force, making sure his commands to them were clear and concise. Meanwhile, Yukimura would continue to charge through the Imagawa forces on his demon chariot, to cut Imagawa soldiers down left and right with his spear.

"... A few months ago, myself and one other person had squared off against a bandit chief, whom had attacked a village, and he ended up defeating us and killing the village chief. About a few weeks ago, we had received intel that the hideout of that very bandit chief and his bandits had been discovered on the outskirts of my Lord's territory. I had been ordered by my father, to infiltrate and eliminate the bandits and bandit chief by any means necessary, and it was also, for me, a chance to get revenge on the loss I received from him. Except my revenge was simply to beat the bandit chief in a fight, nothing more, nothing less. It turns out, that bandit chief, was now an ex-bandit chief, and under Takehiro-san's command. My Lord did not receive that additional information from his messengers until it was far too late to call me back, and I was unaware the entire duration of my mission of his relationship to Takehiro. Neither myself nor my Lord were feigning ignorance, for we truly were unaware. Takehiro-san marched on our territory because of my unintentional mistake, to defend his pride and the people of Totomi, and challenged my Lord to a duel, and injured him. Now the relations between the Amakusa and my faction are frayed, and Takehiro-san hates me."
His eyes downcast, Yukimura would let out a small sad sigh. He understood Takehiro's reasoning for marching on Kofu, but the Takeda faction being unaware of the fact the ex-bandit chief was under Takehiro's command, was not feigning ignorance, but the truth.
"My only wish is to repair the broken bonds between us..."

Though Brandt was understandably cautious, in truth, Yukimura had no desire to fight, if in fact, Brandt was associated with Takehiro. The young General hoped he could mend relations in the future, but that was far and few in between. For now, he would keep his head down, and maintain a low profile.
"Well the "Demon of Totomi" is certainly powerful. I know of him, and I've seen him in battle before. Once, he was a good friend and great ally of someone I know, but circumstances frayed their relationship. Now he keeps his head down, and maintains a low profile, though he hopes their relationship can be mended soon. I know for certain he has no intention of fighting him, or anyone associated with him. He merely wishes to mend what is now broken in the near future..."

Upon hearing Brandt's question, Yukimura would let out a bark-like laugh while he skewered two more pieces of meat and stuck the ends of the wooden skewers in the ground, above the fire, leaving them to roast. Though he appeared jovial and light-hearted on the outside, inside, he was cringing eternally. So Brandt was at the very least, aware of Takehiro. He'd have to tread cautiously, because the last thing he wanted was more people attacking him for his unintentional mistake.
"Brandon-san, the better question is, who hasn't heard of the "Demon of Totomi"? Every faction in Nippon is at least aware of his power."
Too bad neither Yukimura nor Shingen had been aware of who was under Takehiro's command until it was too late. It was not ignorance that led to Yukimura trying to take revenge on Toshi, as the ex-bandit chief and Daimyo himself believed, but truly being unaware all this time. Big difference there.
"If I may ask, do you know the "Demon of Totomi" yourself, Brandon-san? And if so, how exactly?"

Once the other men had arrived and formed up, after General Katsuyori explained his exercise, the men would line up just as they had done for the previous exercise. Watching as one by one, the men tackled the exercise, only to be tossed back onto the shore by the powerful waves General Katsuyori controlled, soon enough, the line in front of his trickled away, and it was Yukimura's turn. With his training armor on, this exercise wasn't going to be easy, but Yukimura had an idea. Diving into the water, he immediately greeted by waves and powerful currents, but instead of trying to fight against it, he'd use the weight of his armor to his advantage, and dive below the currents and waves.
Using his muscular arms and legs to push his way through the water, he'd swim as far as he could before pushing his way up to the surface, doing a little jump out of the water, before diving down once more. Instead of diving below like before, he'd instead jump out of the water in intervals, to prevent General Katsuyori from pulling him under by the current and drag him back to the shore he started on. He'd alternate his strategy, making sure General Katsuyori couldn't predict which move he'd make, and with a powerful stroke of his arms and kick of his legs, would burst forth from the water, and land on the shore in front of him, exhausted, but successful. Now it was up to the men of his unit to either follow his strategy, or come up with one of their own.

"A monastery rumored to be filled with great treasure... but also great evil, much like Numa Castle is Satsuma."
Before he could take a step towards the left wing, he would turn at the sound of footsteps coming up from behind them, and turning his head, would see a young female pirate enter into the room. Pulling his dual jumonji yari off his back out of sheer instinct, when it was apparent the girl wasn't here to attack them, he would lower his spears, though continued to keep his guard up.
"Hello. Have you come to investigate this temple as well? You may join us if you wish."
Regardless of if the girl agreed or not, once he had taken a step towards the left wing, having expected to be pulled in just like at Numa Castle, he would land on his feet upon entering the room, noticing the resemblance to Numa Castle, but this one differed in the waterfalls and the pools of water running along the side of the hallway. Placing his spears back onto his back before falling to one knee and slamming his hands onto the ground, closing his eyes and focusing, Yukimura would take in the entire area of the room, and if there were any traps, he would pinpoint them without any trouble, allowing him to direct whoever decided to tackle the traps without ending up in harms way.
"Shall we get started? Who is going to venture into the hallway to get the chest? If there are traps, I'll detect them, and if you are about to trigger any, I'll let you know."

Jolted awake as someone started shouting in the room, Yukimura would look around bleary-eyed, a half-asleep expression on his face... only to be fully awakened at the sight of a very angry, rage-filled Takehiro! Even his glaive was filled with unbridled rage! An earthquake sent through the floor as Takehiro landed on the floor, his glaive leaving a crater from the impact, Yukimura would quickly scramble out from under the table and to his feet, though it felt a bit nippy for some reason, as he would realize he, along with everyone else in the room, was completely naked. That wasn't what was important though, what was was seeing Takehiro advance savagely towards the blond guy, his eyes shifting back and forth between Takehiro and the blond guy like he was watching a tennis match. What's tennis?

His dual jumonji yari at the ready, as blasts of energy rained down from the sky the moment the Kuroyasha shot both arms out and rose up into the air, Yukimura would do his best to protect his unit of men in case the shield Lord Shingen, his father, General Katsuyori, and Mochizuki Chiyome combined, created, were to shatter, by forming a dome of heat energy himself, as he could not form a dome big enough to protect the entire campsite, since his abilities were not as powerful and nowhere near the level of Lord Shingen's. Appearing out of nowhere behind him, Sarutobi Sasuke would come to aid his master, combining his dome of shadow with Yukimura's dome of heat energy, to reinforce and strengthen the dome to protect them from the dark missiles fired by the Kuroyasha, letting Shou handle him.

Congratulating the men of his unit on their success as his father wrapped up his exercise, the test had not been easy by any stretch of the word, which was what his father had been aiming for Yukimura was certain of. While he would command his men to take their well-deserved break, watching Shou wander off to the next area of the training regiment, which was under General Katsuyori's command, Yukimura would take a quick drink of water, to parch his dry throat, before making his way over to the lake as well, the General standing on the other side. Just like his father's exercise, this one was sure to be interesting and challenging as well.

A Tales of reference is always okay, no matter the situation. And yep, that's where my nickname came from, Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia, because the only other Lloyd I know of is from Legend of Dragoon.
And lolol, if I was playing the historical version of Hiroyoshi, yes. But we took liberties with character's ages on here, eitherwise Yukimura and Masamune would be -7 years old (read: not even born yet), so this version of Hiroyoshi is 31 years old XD

"That is correct Lord Mōri. And yes, General Watanabe informed me of the current and incredibly amusing situation. I did hear the people in Shinano say they saw a white puppy running around, though none thought much of it, assuming it was either a stray or a lost puppy belonging to one of the villagers."
Giving Lord Motonari a respectful bow of his head as he knelt before the Daimyo of Chugoku, though he had a look of utmost respect and serious on his face, inside, he was sweatdropping just as much as Lady Mōri was seeing Lord Motonari's daughter hug his leg while sitting on the floor.
"As the youngest General of Lord Takeda's army, I will do the very best to bring your daughter's puppy back."
Or not come back at all. Which, was an option for Yukimura, because unlike the other Generals of Lord Motonari's army, Yukimura didn't live in Chugoku. But if he came back empty-handed... he didn't want to think of the consequences, least of which was sending Lord Motonari over the edge and declare war on Lord Takeda or something. Once he was dismissed by Lord Motonari, Yukimura would rise up and bow once again, before making his way out of Lord Motonari's castle and out of Chugoku itself. He'd start his search in Shinano, the last known location of the puppy. This was going to be fun. /sarcasm

"I would be very surprised if it wasn't. But no matter what comes our way, we'll get through it, together."
Giving Katsumi a slight smile, hearing footsteps come up from behind them, he would quickly whirl around, his weapons in hand, only to lower them as soon as he saw who it was, but that wasn't the surprising part. What was surprising was the first part Shou began to say, only to cut himself off and use the surname of Katsumi's alias.
"Yamabara-san? You know Katsumi-san as well? And I'm not surprised, Oyakata-sama doesn't blame me or my father, but no doubt the other commanders believe it was not Oyakata-sama's fault, but mine, for being young and ignorant, even though I was just as unaware as Oyakata-sama, until it was too late for both of us."
It was clear from saying her name that he too, knew Katsumi's secret, and now it was out in the open. A bitter, twisted smile on his face, now wasn't the time to dwell on the commanders putting the blame squarely on him. If he did, it would cloud his judgment, and end up costing them more than just failing the dungeon. Turning back to face Katsumi, he would give her a nod of his head, before stepping towards the left wing.

"... I look forward to that day, Brandon-san. I won't hold back against you, and I know you will not as well, and we shall have a fight worthy to be witnessed by the very Gods themselves."
Staring back at Brandt, a look of utter seriousness on his face, to not take things seriously would be a dishonor to them both as warriors. When the day came that they dueled, Yukimura would show Brandt the reason why he was called "The Raging Inferno."
"But until then, any rest, even a little is good. Are you still hungry Brandon-san? I can roast another piece of meat for you, if you wish."

"Ah... I see. It would seem we both are in the same situation, of sorts. I... I too cannot be around him anymore. Or rather, he will never be around or consider me a friend anymore. I..."
His eyes downcast, Yukimura would stop dead in his tracks in the middle of the road, his hands slowly clenching up into fists. Lord Shingen did not blame Yukimura, nor did his own father, or even Sasuke, but the other commanders did not consider it Lord Shingen's fault, and had solely placed all the blame on Yukimura, causing the youngest General in the Takeda faction to feel even more bad than before.
"I messed up Katsumi-san. You remember that bandit chief we fought against? I was ordered by my father to infiltrate and eliminate the bandits and bandit chief in their hideout that was discovered just on the outskirts of Kofu, by any means necessary. It turns out, that bandit chief was under Takehiro-san's command, and neither I nor Lord Shingen knew until it was too late. Takehiro-san marched on Kofu because of my unintentional mistake, to defend his pride and the people of Totomi, and challenged Lord Shingen to a duel, and injured Oyakata-sama. Now Amakusa-Takeda relations are frayed, Takehiro-san hates me, and Haji-san is avoiding me for some reason."
Looking up to face Katsumi-san, before anything could be said, suddenly, a strange sound issued from in front of Yukimura, as a large metallic object on four wheels with bright lights on it came barreling towards them, a loud, strange horn blasting from it, and quickly pushing Katsumi out of the way, onto the side where people were walking, he'd then dive to the side after her, as the object raced past him, the person inside it shouting at him. Cradling his head in one hand, one eye closed, as Yukimura regained his wits, he'd briefly cast his gaze around, before his eyes would widen in shock, as he took a good look at their environment. What was previously fields of crops on one side, and a forest on the other, were now gone, instead replaced by buildings that seemed to stretch to the very heavens themselves!
"Wh... Where in the name of Amaterasu are we!?"

Though Yukimura would continue to keep his eyes downcast as Katsumi walked alongside him, as they continued down the dirt road, a sudden thought struck him. Usually Katsumi was always with Haji, and though Lord Shingen had hired Katsumi on Yukimura's recommendation, it suddenly occurred to him that he had seen Katsumi hang around him all day, every day, which was somewhat puzzling to him. He had been too wracked with guilt to notice at the time, but he had seen that Katsumi didn't leave Kofu to go back to her home with Haji, but instead stayed in Kofu itself, and though he was not one to pry, he was genuinely worried that something may have happened to her.
"... Katsumi-san, is everything alright? I've noticed that you've never left Kofu even once, not even to go back to the home you and Haji share to sleep, but instead you've stayed and rested in Kofu. Did something happen?"

While the soldiers of Koboyashi's unit would end up being knocked off by his father's tactics to up the difficulty of his exercise, Yukimura's men would come up from behind and tackle the wall, some following Yukimura's strategy with varying degrees of success, while others would go for a different strategy than their General did, simply because they did not possess the upper body strength he did. As one soldier would approach the wall, he would glance up at the wall and Yukimura, who was perched up on top. The both of them locking eyes, giving a barely perceptible nod of his head, the soldier would jump up towards the nearest handhold, and grabbing hold of it, would push off from it and to the side just as it disappeared and a stone pillar shot out.
Quickly jumping onto the stone pillar, he would use it as leverage to get up to a handhold above him just as the pillar melded back into the rock, and would keep this strategy up, until he was just at the top, and instead of hoisting himself up over the top, would jump the last part, so he could avoid getting sucker punched in the gut from the stone pillar that would shot out. While the soldier had been scaling the wall, some of the other men had tackled the wall simultaneously, and would follow his strategy, keeping Masayuki's attention divided, preventing him from taking them out one by one. Shou wasn't the only one that came up with a new strategy it seemed.

After hearing of and receiving word that a courier in the Takeda faction had been kidnapped and taken into enemy custody by the Uesugi faction, Lord Shingen had commanded Yukimura to go and break into the Uesugi camp, get back their courier, and escape from the camp without the courier ending up furthered harmed. It sounded simple enough, except that he was only to engage in combat if necessary, and any bodies of guards he ended up having to kill or knocked out had to be hidden. In the long run, it was far easier to knock out two soldiers and steal their uniforms, that way, he could avoid drawing any attention to himself and the courier. Camped on top of a hill overlooking the camp, laying flat on his stomach, Yukimura had staked out the camp for about an hour, to get a sense of the patrol paths the guards he could see took. They weren't exactly predictable, but there was enough of a pattern that Yukimura had an idea of which two soldiers he could knock out without being spotted.
Wasting not a single moment, he would quickly hop to his feet and staying low to the ground, would quickly dart down the hill before taking up a hiding spot behind a fairly large tree. With his black cloak hiding his red armor from view, the shadows felt deeper, and though Yukimura felt, and still did, that Sasuke would've been the better choice for this retrieval mission, there also must've been a good reason why Lord Shingen entrusted Yukimura with this mission. Darting out from behind the tree, he would hide behind a nearby horse stable just as two soldiers passed by. Slowly edging his way around the horse stable, he would ambush the two soldiers, knocking them out quickly, and dragging their bodies to the side, would hide them in a nearby tent, but not before stealing their uniforms and tying them up with rope and gagging them. He'd then don one uniform himself, while storing the other in his makeshift bag fashioned from his cloak. Ducking out of the tent, making sure the kabuto he wore kept his face hidden in shadows, he would make his way through the camp while acting like he was on patrol. Thanks to his disguise, he would cover a large portion of the camp unhindered, and soon enough, he would come upon a tent smaller than the others, with a two soldiers stationed outside it, one on each side of the tent entrance. Moving towards the guards, they would look up at Yukimura, as one would let out a frustrated mixed with relief sigh.
"Finally you got here, you were supposed to relieve us ten minutes ago! Hey, where's Takizawa-san?"
"... He's on his way, he'll be here shortly. Sorry about that..."
"Ehh... Just don't let it happen again. Hey Morimoto-san, you alright? Your voice sounds different, you getting a cold or something?"
"... Maybe. It's why I took so long, I had stopped at the medical tent to get some medicine."
"Huh... Well, at least you can rest somewhat. That courier isn't going anywhere anytime fast, haha!"
Standing outside the tent and acting as a guard as the other two headed off, making their way back towards the middle of the camp, as soon as they had disappeared from view, once he was certain no one was around, Yukimura would duck into the tent, as he would immediately find the courier, who was sleeping restlessly in the corner of the tent, and Yukimura could see why the soldier said the courier wasn't going anywhere fast. He had a broken arm, one swollen eye that inhibited his vision, and he certainly couldn't walk without assistance. After gently rousing the courier, just as he was about to cry out in fear, Yukimura would place one finger to his lips, indicating for the courier to stay quiet, before revealing the Mon of the Takeda he wore underneath the Uesugi armor he had donned. Helping the courier to his feet, Yukimura would hand the spare uniform he had stolen to the courier and instruct him to quickly don it. Once the courier had, throwing some pillows onto the mattress and pulling the covers over, making it appear in the dark, the courier was asleep, after checking his features were hidden by the kabuto, especially the one swollen eye, Yukimura would pull the courier's good arm over his shoulders, and help him out of the tent. Spotting two soldiers on patrol heading towards them, though they hadn't noticed them yet, Yukimura would quickly pretend like he had stumbled out of a nearby tent, helping the courier walk, as the soldiers would spot them and run over.
"Hey, what happened!?"
"... We were ambushed by an enemy soldier trying to get the Takeda courier back just as we were about to head out for guard duty. He knocked me out immediately, and Takizawa-san managed to fight back, but he got beaten up pretty badly. He managed to get away before we came to, but Takizawa-san is in no condition to be guarding anyone, especially with that soldier still around. You two mind taking over our shift, while I help Takizawa-san to the medical tent?"
"Ah yeah, of course. Damn Takeda soldier, sneaking in here and knocking you guys around like a wooden dummy. We'll let Captain Suzuki know later."
As the two guards headed towards the tent housing the supposed still inside courier, Yukimura would begin to head in the direction of the medical tent, only to move in the direction of the camp entrance the moment the guards were out of sight. Moving slowly through the campsite, for the sake of the courier, making sure to stay hidden in the shadows and moving cautiously, because he didn't want to risk getting caught. Though it was agonizingly slow, eventually, Yukimura and the courier managed to get out unnoticed, and once they were far enough from the camp, summoning his demon chariot and helping the courier onto it, would take off back towards Kofu, to get medical attention for the courier as soon as possible.

Just on the outskirts of Kofu, Yukimura had just departed from Kai after being given orders by Lord Shingen to travel to a nearby village to obtain and bring back brand new weaponry and armor for the soldiers to use. Traveling by foot down the dirt road to the village, Yukimura was not the only one Lord Shingen had entrusted the task to. After being convinced by Yukimura himself, Lord Shingen had decided to hire Katsumi, paying the mercenary to help out with tasks in the Takeda faction. Though the pay was not the highest, Yukimura sometimes gave Katsumi extra, as thanks for her help, out of his own pocket.
It was the least he could do, since he considered her the closest friend he had right now, with his friendship with Takehiro all but shattered, and Amakusa-Takeda relations frayed. Not to mention Haji seemed to be avoiding him for some reason. Though Lord Shingen did not blame Yukimura one bit for what he did to the Amakusa faction, he still felt guilty and heart-broken for the unintentional mistake he made, even though it was a case of being uninformed until it was too late, and Lord Shingen himself did not know until it was too late for him to call Yukimura back. As such, Katsumi would find Yukimura more quiet and subdued as they continued down the dirt road, a stark contrast from his usual cheerful, enthusiastic self.

"To underestimate you as being weak would not only be dishonorable to you as a warrior, but also disgraceful to my honor. You are no ordinary warrior Brandon-san, and I look forward to the day fighting against you at your full strength. The land of Nippon is vast, but I too believe this will not be the first and last time we encounter each other. I just hope it is under happy circumstances..."
Hearing Brandt let out a slight sigh, Yukimura knew just as well how frustrating it could be to be forced to rest, because it meant valuable training time was lost. It was quite possibly the hardest part of the recovery process, but also the most necessary. If the body didn't recover fully, the risk of injuring oneself again was much higher, and Yukimura wanted to fight Brandt at his best, not at his semi-best.
"The recovery process is long, but necessary Brandon-san. If you ever need a sparring partner while you recover, feel free to call on me. There is a dojo not too far from here that I have fixed up for my use, and you will more often than not, find me there in the morning. It is not difficult to find, just look for a dojo located near a bamboo grove."

"Hmm... It seems our beliefs are not so different, when it comes to hierarchy among Gods. Izanagi-no-mikoto or Izanagi-no-Okami, is the world creation father, along with his wife and younger sister, Izanami-no-mikoto or Izanami-no-Okami, the world creation mother. From Izanagi was born Amaterasu-ōmikami, the sun goddess, Tsukuyomi-no-mikoto, the moon god, and Susanoo-no-Mikoto, the storm god."
Yukimura's eyes flashing briefly seeing Brandt stretch only to wince, the man had only just begun the recovery process. With medicine the healing process would be sped up considerably, but mainly Brandt needed to rest. To Yukimura, another part of training was when to know to let your body heal up, so when you are fully recovered, you can train harder.
"No matter what Gods a person believes in, I hope they too will be blessed with new abilities, just as Kagutsuchi has blessed me. I also hope that for you too Brandon-san. When you are fully recovered, I wish to test my strength against your own."

A small village located on the border of Shinano and Hida was constantly being attacked by the Miki faction, whom would repeatedly send a small unit of soldiers to march on the village. As a result, tensions between the Takeda faction and Miki faction grew, and night after night, the villagers slumbered in unease, afraid of what the morning would bring. The Takeda and Miki factions had always been on shaky ground, but recently it had gotten to the point that the Miki faction dispatched a small army to attack and wipe out the village once and for all. The moment word reached Lord Shingen, Yukimura set out immediately with a small army, about 30 men in total, to the village, determined to protect it and the villagers from the oncoming threat. Stationing the men in groups of six in the shadows, to stay out of sight, four in total, the remaining six were with him, standing at the entrance to the village, while Yukimura himself stood in front of them, his dual jumonji yari already in his hands.
He was determined to take out as many of the opposing soldiers as he could before they could even step foot into the village, and the ones he could not, he and the six men present would lure into the village, allowing the other men to ambush the opposing army and take them down. On the horizon, the rising sun would be blotted out by the shadows of the advancing Miki army, and opening his eyes, the sight of Yukimura was enough to cause the army to falter briefly, but nonetheless, they would press on, and rushing forward, they would advance on Yukimura. Just as they rushed towards him, so too, would Yukimura rush forwards towards them, and using his spears to launch himself up into the air, as flames engulfed him, Yukimura would come crashing down in the middle of the army and swing his spears outward, knocking out at least ten of the men. As the rest tried to run away in fear, Yukimura would block their retreat path with a wall of fire that would spring up behind them, funneling them towards the village. As they ran past him, he would cut down as many as he could, and the ones that got past, would find themselves up against the six men in the village... or so they thought.
As they went to swing their katanas in fear and desperation, two groups of the men hidden in the shadows would ambush them and incapacitate them, while the remaining two groups would stay hidden, to ensure the safety of the villagers. With a good portion of the opposing army already taken down by Yukimura, those that remained posed little trouble to his men. With only five men of the opposing army, realizing they were greatly outnumbered and outmatched, they would drop their katanas and hold their hands up, immediately surrendering as they were surrounded on all sides. Capturing and gathering all thirty soldiers of the Miki army into the villager square, weaponless and completely surrounded by the Takeda soldiers, whom had katanas pointed at them, the circle would part in the middle to allow Yukimura in, as he would enter the inner circle and stare down at the opposing soldiers, the flames he controlled continuing to engulf him.
"... All of you should be thankful you are still alive. But listen well: if you return to this village once more, I will not be so merciful a second time, and I will take your lives with my own hands, understood? Return to Miki and tell your Lord that the Takeda faction stopped you. Now run. Run away, and never return."
The men nodding their heads in fear and panic, they would scramble to their feet and the circle parting to let them through, they would take off like a pack of frightened dogs, running back in the direction of where they came from. The soldiers and villagers letting out roars of joy, Yukimura would smile slightly from their success, and would make his way to a nearby inn to rest, deciding he would stay a few more days longer, to ensure the villagers safety in the next few days.
