Jina dropped from Noel's arms, falling flat on her back. What an asshole. She stood up quickly, realizing that he had not dropped her out of rejection, but that there was something very serious about to happen. Just as she looked up, Noel's hand let go of the abnormally large sword, throwing it at the other two. 

The other woman, Nao as Noel called her, and the guy with the big mouth were entwined in chains with the big guy about to slash the woman's chest open. Shit...

At this point, there was not much Jina could do. Noel did the only thing he could and Jina's flimsy weapon would do no better than the huge sword flying at them.

Jina screamed, "Watch ou---!" She winced, not sure of what would happen next. If the sword hit Nao or the guy with the big mouth, there would be huge bloodshed. If the sword was thrown just precisely enough, it would block the slashing of the man's sword. The other option would be that the sword would miss the group all together, lodging in the ground somewhere and Nao would be slashed.

This is a badddd situation.

[Ikeda Keisuke]

Standing off to the side, watching the battle royale between Naotora and the new recruit, was Keisuke, both arms resting on top of the pole of his giant ass hammer, which was draped across his shoulders. Although he had an easygoing smile on his face, inside, he was seething with rage. The new recruit had guts, but if he thought he could get away with harming even a single hair on Naotora, he had another thing coming.

Still, he wouldn't step in unless the Big Boss of Oshu himself ordered it... or threw him into the fray. Whichever came first.

[Kyoya Naotora]

Naotora smirked. Everyone seemed to think she'd been had, but he was wrapping himself up in her chain, and she was stronger than this man. Even if it was only a little, it was enough. As he was mid-spin, she would step away from him and yank the chain as hard as she could. Given his speed being countered by her strength, he would be unraveled forcefully, which was likely to daze him and prevent his attack from even happening.

Before the woman could counter, however, Noel's sword came flying by, and she stepped back and out of the way, but it would rip right through her chain and break it.

"... was that really necessary?"

[Kuroshi Maki]

As I was spinning, I could feel myself breaking free, yet this wasn't because of me. It seems the guy with the large sword broke the chain by trowing his sword. He destroyed her weapon but why? Didn't they have trust in her ability to face me? Are they that worried she would have died. Dropping the chain that was around me on the ground. Kicking the ball of the chain backwards away from her. I gave her back the weapon once but won't twice. People coming in between is starting to piss me off.

" It seems this fraction is just a waste of time.. Even you're lord breaks his promise. "

I was sure this wasn't the place for me to be, I was looking for strength yet this fraction wasn't giving me what I was looking for. People breaking their words was enough for me to just walk away from it all.

[Date Masamune]

Running into the fight... that's unlike you Noel. Now normally I'd stop someone from interfering in a fight like this. But to be honest. The fight was boring as hell. And to see one of my men so filled with the drive to fight. I decided to let it go. Turn a.... blind eye if you will. Guess I was still pissed about that comment. After Noel jumped in the fight... didn't really get much better. It was still pretty weak. Another surprise happened when another recruit jumped, engaging Noel and allowing Naotora to take care of the mouth.

Let's see how you handle this one Noel. Wait... Did you just pick her up in mid air? Are you flirting with her? God dammit Noel. I turned back to Naotora and the other recruit. He tried using her own chain against her? Wrapping himself in it? I chuckled. I guess this guy had a death wish. Before Naotora could smash. Noel decided to jump in again. I face palmed and walked slowly behind Noel, kicking him in the back sending him flying to his sword.

"God dammit Noel. Couldn't you leave well enough alone?"

I turned to the recruit that had started this fight.

"Good, cause ya' didn't pass. If Naotora's last attack had hit, you'd be leaving here in a body bag."

I gave Nao a nod, "Good work! And don't worry. We'll get that chain of yours repaired."

Then finally I turned to the last recruit to have entered the fray. She showed guts coming into Oshu and fighting like she did.

"So, are you just one of Noel's friends? Or did you come here to join us?"

[Zhuo Jina]

Jina's face turned bright red. The guy everyone referred to as the Big Boss was talking to her? Is he speaking to me? She wasn't used to being called out in public, especially at a level like this. Jina blinked a couple of times before she was even able to process how seemingly special she felt.

"I...uh, Noel and I have only met before. I...I'm not a huge fan of violence, but I am willing to dedicate my heart to a cause if I must, sir."

Jina's eyes continued to be wide, she was hoping to be as respectful as possible in the presence of this man. She was hoping to join the Date if the recruitment process had gone well.

[Ikeda Keisuke]

A genuine easygoing smile on his face after seeing Naotora was safe, even though Noel broke her chain with his zanbato in the process, he knew she was more than capable of handling herself, he just didn't like seeing her possibly get hurt. After the Big Boss kicked Noel and sent him flying to his sword, Keisuke snickering quietly, then went on to address the other recruit that was around, a girl Noel seemed to have flirted with (surprise), he would grab a seat on a nearby crate, leaning back on one arm while the other was wrapped around his hammer, a look of mild interest on his face.

[Katsurayama Haruyuki]

Haruyuki just came back into the camp from an overnight surveillance mission, and was still wearing his clothes fit for blending in into the night as a spy. There was an assembly of new recruits today, and he wanted to see what sort of recruits they had today. This would be a good day to test his skills on them, he thought. Somewhat his skills are rusty from not using them for a long time, and he needed a good practice. He then went to the barracks where the new recruits were assembled. Coincidentally this was also the place where he settled when he had no jobs to do, and so he thought that he would change into his black kimono and hakama, tie his hair and start training with them without mistaking him for a female.

But suddenly he saw something flying towards him. It was some pieces of chain that broke from something, and the shards are flying towards his direction. He then drew the sword sheathed on his left thigh with his right hand, and shielded himself from the chain shards in one swing of his sword. But as he was trying to shield himself from the shards of the chain, he saw another object flying towards him. When he squinted his eyes, he did not believe what was flying. It was a huge sword, and it was spinning towards his direction! He jumped upwards, evading the ponderous thing as it planted itself on the ground harmlessly. He then landed himself on the ground, at the front of the sword, smiling.

"You have to try harder than that, recruits!" he said while he was smiling, but he did not expect what would come after. A man was kicked towards the sword that planted itself on the ground, in other words, towards Haruyuki again. Haruyuki tried to jump again, but it was too late: the man hit him, setting them flying towards the sword, Haruyuki being squished between the flying man and the blunt part of the sword.

"Why are there too many things flying around here?" Haruyuki muttered, and then passed out due to being squished.

[Date Masamune]

"Well then you're in. I am Date Masamune, the Big Boss of Oshu."

I turned around to address the rest of the crew. My eye darted between Noel, Keisuke, and Haruyuki. Why was it that the men in my army needed a lot more work being soldiers than the girls? You'd expect the girls to have a tougher time fitting in because there were such few in the army. I walked over to Noel and Haruyuki. I grabbed them both by the back of their shirts, "WAKE UP!" I would shake them violently before dropping them and picking up Noel's sword.

"Alright. Noel, Keisuke, Haruyuki, Nao, and uhh new Recruit. Sorry didn't get your name. front and center. And Noel... I'll give this back to you when I feel like you've earned it. Until then. Someone get this kid a less deadly weapon."

[Etincelle Noel]

"W-wait Sir! I didn't mean t-"

It was too late. I was grabbed and thrown halfway across the field. I looked up and the last thing I saw was my sword. I closed my eyes and put my arms above my head to brace myself. I slammed right into... something soft.

"Heh... Could have sworn the metal on my sword was tougher than this..."

I opened my eyes to notice I hadn't hit the sword. Instead I had been thrown into a person who hit the sword. She was kind of cute... Damn. Date definitely did have the best women in their army. We've got a badass chick that throws boulders, a pretty chinese girl, and now this cute Japane- Oh wait shit this was Haruyuki. Should have probably opened both eyes before looking.

"/Well... let's never speak of this again.../"

Before I knew it though, I was grabbed from behind by the Big Boss again... before he decided to shake me violently, "BUT I AM AWAAAAAAAKEEE!" I was flailed around for a bit and then dropped on my butt... Hard. I looked over in time to see him take away my sword.

"Wait but what am I going to use?!"

The guy with the pompadour walked over holding a thin tree branch. Looked like it was freshly ripped off of a tree cause the leaves were still on it. He held it out to me, holding the "handle" towards me.

"Was all I could find on short notice."

"THE WEAPON SHED IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU!"

"Yeah... 'spose it is."

He dropped the tree branch on my lap and walked away.

[Zhuo Jina]

"Lord Date, I'm Zhuo Jina. I was brought here to Japan by pirates who I first learned my skills from. I am more than happy to dedicate myself to your cause."

Jina bowed respectfully before the Big Boss turned away. She looked over at Noel, snickering. He had gotten in trouble and she had been invited to join the army. Typical. She smiled, something she couldn't help around him. "You okay?" She reached down and picked up the whip-like tree branch off of his lap.

"What could they possibly expect you to do with this?" She giggled. "Here." She handed him her old rapier, something she hadn't used since she had purchased her custom Chinese swords. "It hasn't been oiled for a couple of weeks, so it might have dulled. It will work, won't it?"

[Katsurayama Haruyuki]

A shout from the daimyo awakened Haruyuki as he was dragged across the field. When he saw that he was being dragged, he flailed for a bit, before he was dropped down on the ground, and his head hit something hard again. Fortunate that he had long hair that snuffed most of the impact, but it still hurt.

"Owww..." he muttered as he stood up, caressing the back of his head with his right hand, while dusting off his clothes with his left. He then moved forward to give attention to the daimyo, still caressing his head and still dusting off his clothes. That dragging made him become more like a terracotta soldier due to too many dust sticking on his black attire. When he heard Noel was divested of his ponderous sword for the time being, Haruyuki wondered what wrong did he make again. But since I had another weapon to spare, he decided to lend it for the time being. He had always brought it on his person, though it is as much unused as his swordsmanship.

He then took off the cord that was attached to the weapon and its sheath on his left waist, and handed it to Noel, while saying, "I once thought that I should lend one of my weapons to you, but since you have been a very naughty boy, this would suffice." When Noel would unsheath the weapon (which looked like a sheathed katana), he would see that it was not a katana, but a hachiwara. Haruyuki would then say, "For new cadets only."

[Ikeda Keisuke]

Rising up off the crate he had been sitting on, he would obey Lord Date's order and head over, standing front and center, his arm still wrapped casually around his war hammer. Snickering discretely and quietly to himself at the replacement weapon Noel had been had handed after having his zanbato confiscated, before Haruyuki and the newest recruit, Jina, both gave him two better weapons, he would exchange grins with Naotora, before turning to Jina, his usual easygoing smile on his face.

"Zhuo Jina, was it? Nice to meet you Zhou-san, I'm Ikeda Keisuke."

[Kyoya Naotora]

Naotora would not do the Big Boss as everyone began to form up. Before she entered the line, she would stop in front of Noel, a kind smile on her face. Tilting her head to the side, Naotora would look undeniably cute, before she sent a strong right straight to the man's shoulder. It was meant to be a playful hit, but she was stronger than any man here by a long shot, so it'd end up hurting like a bitch for sure.

"You seriously think there's a man here who could take me?" It came off as playful, but she was partly serious. A giggle escaped the girl's lips and she fell into the line.

[Zhuo Jina]

The people here seemed friendly enough. They all smiled at here and were joking around. She hadn't met anyone truly friendly since she had been taken hostage by the pirates. While some of them had fit the rumors and stereotypes that form around the word pirate, most were just given a bad name by the rest.

"Kei...suke? Very nice to meet you." She bowed slightly and watched the strong woman hit Noel. Jina chuckled a bit because she thought he probably deserved it. 

After everyone was in line, she turned her attention to the Big Boss who must have had some kind of plan for them.

Shin stood off to the side keeping his distance from the fighting not really seeming to be interested in this whole training scenario. He crossed his arm as he just kept watching the fighting going on 'Why would people want to fight there leader even though he pretty much told them to, i just don't see the point in this whole fiasco' shin thought to himself he did keep his right hand over the end of the sword. even though he saw fighting between comrades he did see friendliness between them. He saw people laughing and having fun together. 'this place might not be that bad after all' he thought to himself. He then turned to his right and saw people forming up like the big boss wanted, so he finally walked over and formed up in the line and stood next to his new comrades. " I hope this place was worth joining " i muttered to myself.
