Ever wish there was some large guy that came out and shouted something anytime you make a mistake? Well right now, it felt like that guy came out of nowhere and decided to bull doze over me like the idiot that I am. The other occupant of this island seemed to be a man? A man with a strangely attractive face. Dammit, first waking up naked spooning Hidenori and now this. I definitely have some things to think about and figure out.

“Woah woah! Easy. My name is Etincelle Noel. I’m a member of the Oshu army. Maybe you’ve heard of me, the Date Army Drifter.”

I sounded a little proud as I spoke my title. Probably not the best time for pride because this person had a bow and arrow, and I was standing there without any weapon like a jack ass. This person could probably stick me with an arrow within five seconds. I wouldn’t even have enough time to run and hide in the woods. So it seemed it was time to turn up my boyish charms. I put up my award winning smile as I spoke with that slightly sexy tint in my voice, altogether forgetting that I wasn’t quite sure if my neighbor was male or female.

“So uhh… you stuck here too? Maybe we should… work together.”

I yawned slightly and quietly as it was way too early in the morning to be awake. Leaning over the handlebars that controlled my horse I waited and listened to Kojuro speak. Then it was the Big Boss's turn and as usual, he kept it short and sweet. I cheered along with the rest of the men.

"WOOO-HOOOO! LET'S GO BIG BOSS!"

I didn't even need to let my horse know it was time to go. Much like the Big Boss was our leader and we followed him wherever he went, the Big Boss's horse was the leader for the rest of the horses and they followed him wherever he went. I smirked turning my head to the side to Masahiro.

"Excited yet? We're gonna be heroes just like we were trained to be back at home."

Dammit... I should not have had those beans for lunch. But those beans wrapped in that tortilla with meat, rice, and vegetables were simply delicious. I couldn't help myself. I ate three of those concoctions. I felt my stomach rumbling and I groaned slightly.

"Hidenori... I'm sorry about what's about to happen next."

I spoke in a hushed tone as I attempted to hold back the build up that had been stewing in my stomach. I groaned once more slightly as the air around my butt started smelling something vicious. A deep and low bbbbbwwwwhhhhhhhhbbbbb sound rung through the air. I truly felt bad for Hidenori at this point what with me farting on the back of his head and all.

"LET GO OF ME HIDENORI!"

I yanked myself free from Hidenori as he tried to keep me from Nao's balls. I broke free in time to see Nao get punched by a whirlwind fist. The technique was amazing... and frightening. It didn't matter right now. All that mattered was making sure that Nao would be alright. I hadn't seen any of the other Date soldiers that came out... Jina... Keisuke...

"/DAMMIT! DON'T BE DEAD!/"

I stabbed my sword into the ground using it as a pole vault, leaving it behind me. The momentum launched me forward faster as I moved to catch Nao. I was completely weaponless at this point. I turned to Hideyoshi, tears starting to form in the pits of my eyes.

"PLEASE! SPARE HER! I BEG YOU!"

Before Hidenori could swing his sword, I stepped in front of him stopping his attack by grabbing his good arm with one hand. My other arm, readied my blade as I moved both hands to swing in a horizontal arc, attacking and killing all who dared oppose us. I thrusted my whip-blade into Hidenori's hands, forcing him to take it.

"Idiot. You can't swing something like that around with a bad arm. Use this instead."

Before I knew it, I felt a quake. I saw a mass of soldiers being thrown around and blown away in an all too familiar fashion.

"/Dammit./ I have to go."

I wanted to keep an eye on Masahiro... but at this rate. Nao was going to blow away the Oda forces until the stronger guys came in and killed her along with the rest of us Date guys. I slung my sword in front of my left shoulder, and charged through the masses of people until I reached Nao, shouldering anyone that got in my way with my sword.

"NAO! YOU NEED TO STOP!"

God… damn… my head hurt… But that smell… it was beautiful, almost made up for my intense headache. I normally didn’t stay till the morning, but you know once in a while it wasn’t so bad, waking up with the warmth of someone else. I smiled a bit and pulled in closer to the frame I slept with from behind. Not like I could leave easily anyways, my right arm was currently being used as a pillow. Judging from what I could feel, the girl I was with had medium length hair, probably shoulder-length at most. She was taller than me too… I could tell cause my feet only went down to her calves. I wrapped my free arm across her torso, casually brushing it against her chest, not feeling much. Interesting… she definitely wasn’t my usual type.



Man… she must have been one hell of a girl to get me to stay the night like this, especially if she was completely different from my usual type. I usually went for girls that were either shorter than me, or just at my height, with a curvaceous body and long hair. But you know what… None of that mattered. Because if she got me, the Drifter of the Date army, to spend the night she had to be one hell of a girl. I smiled and chuckled a bit, peaking through one of my eyes at the back of her head.



“Wait a second…”

Boooooo.

I lost my partner... my money... my peanuts... What he hell was I going to do now? I sighed and started walking through the island. I had to come up with something else now. How was I going to get off of this island? I could build a raft somehow and hope it would get me back to Japan. Where the hell was I? Ughh... This was going to be a lot more difficu- OH HELLO THERE BEAUTIFUL!

"/Have mercy.../"

I whispered under my breath as I watched through the shrubs and greenery as a girl bathed herself in the cool lake on the island. I couldn't help but feel this was slightly wrong. I looked away, trying to figure out how to introduce myself to her so we could try and figure out a way to get us both off the island. I sighed loudly forgetting I should probably be quiet.

"/God dammit.../"

"/Fuck/... I hear you Hidenori. I got your back."

I charged in behind Hidenori, drawing my massive sword. The one that I fight with, not the one in my pants, people. I slammed the hilt into one man's throat before doing a wide slashing arc on the people that tried to surround us. I grimaced. Hopefully the guys at the supply depot weren't having this hard of a time. On the one hand I was glad we split up so that I could help Hidenori out, but on the other hand, I felt like an idiot because my own troops were screwed.

"It looks like we've already picked a side, er.. Massive Blonde Dude that looks like Thor!"

"Noel" stirred in his sleep before slouching to the side and falling over. The covers fell off of "him" only to reveal that the Noel that it was in the corner was a fake. A clever or not so clever mix of pillows, sheets, and a yellow shirt to match his blonde hair. A note would be left within the pillow Noel that read as the following:

"Gone to Oshu. Nice meeting you."

Hours Earlier:

I opened one eye to check if Jina had fallen asleep. As she did, I slowly picked up my sword and holster, not putting my shoes on until I went outside into the hallway. I quietly made it downstairs to the inn keeper and paid for two days in advance. I couldn't sit still... being in one place. The thought frightened me. So I had to just keep on moving. That's how I always was.

"Alright alright... I guess you Japanese people do have trouble with your L's... Now that I think about it. It's probably cause you guys don't use that sound at all in your language. I wonder how many more sounds there are out there that we don't even know about because nobody uses them..."

My mind immediately tried to come up with a new sound. Mmmmmbah. No that's been done. I racked my head trying to figure one out as I walked over to the daimyou's chest and brought it back over to us. I wondered how many more treasure chests there were.

"What do you say we split the contents of the chests evenly Hidenoli?"
