I didn't manage to take them all but even a few down would even the odds abit. I was of course only one man but that with the strength of a demon. These men seemed weaker now that I grew in strength yet these were only the pawns of the group. Some probably didn't even know what had happened in the past and didn't know why they had angered me.

As the ones in front switched placed with 10 new ones they created a semi circle and spears in front charging at me. I knew there will still a few in the back as well, yet I had to stay focused. Noticing that when the front got closer the ones in the back started to move as well. I would take them out in one strike. as the spears would almost hit the flesh I would bend my knees making myself lower and the spears just hit air above me. some did hit the hair and even one created a mark upon my cheek but nothing major. now they were all in range.

"FOOLS! "

I would spin the Guan Do slicing all there legs off if it worked and would take out all 14 as they would bleed to dead and being unable to move or block because there spears would tangle in each other some would probably even strike a fellow team mate.

Hearing him talk, it seems he was really pumping up the men, and then his right hand man started to speak as well about fighting in harse conditions. Hell I knew all about those. I hardly ever fought a battle were I wasn't hungry or thirsty or not wounded. I did understand however that these men are not all fighters from the start. Pushing myself from the rock I would walk towards the course. Walking passed Toshi I would simply gave him a stare. Knowing this men was probably the strongest here without any add of armor or weapons didn't really bother me that much. I had other plans in mind and I had to face them sooner or later face to face explaining my leave. But for now I would help them boost the men. Speaking at those that follow me under my rank.

" Is this all they can bring! We know how it feels to fight when we are wounded, or hungry or thirsty. This is nothing and if I see one slacking off I will kill you as you are nothing but WEAK!"

This would boost those that fought under my rank as they knew what we had been trough. As I would burst into a sprint holding the Guan Do onto my shoulders I could feel myself become more heavy yet it didn't stop me at all. Reaching the other side I would Dash back into a sprint as well. Soon I could not breath or swallow and it was pure survival. Yet even if my body would crack from the dry heat I would not stop. Getting back I would not allow myself to drop on a knee and tried to hold my composure.

It has been some time now, I had left the faction I once fought for. Having a high rank, yet it did make me have to bend to rules. These rules would not make me be able to do what I needed to do, once I found out my purpose and a way to redeem that what I did. I had left that faction for that purpose and even had left the woman of my life. I had moved into the Forrest near the Oda lands. There I held my base and created a group, this group was called ´The Grey Dawn´ The Dawn stands for the time that would come, meaning there will always will be a new day.. The grey stands for the road to come. I would help those in need, those that are being bullied because there weak or those that are to poor to even buy food. I have seen and felt that pain. It´s time someone truly stands up for them. I would kill for them and steal for them all so they can have a better life. Yet I will not be a Hero and stand there as myself as I no longer will be just a single man.

After I had become the man I had been aiming for I checked for rumors on were to start. I had heard rumors of a Bandit leader going power hungry. Raiding villages and stealing all to become rich's, after he would burn that village down all to move to the next. I heard he would raid a village to the North of here this very night. Standing in my base I would put on the outfit for the first time and become a silent Guardian. Putting on the clothes I would cover half my face as well before placing the dog like mask onto my face. Two Katana's were laying in front of me on the desk and I would place them upon my back in a X shape. A red scarf would be placed around my neck. Checking myself in the mirror, I was ready to do this.

" I will make you proud Mother! "

Tracking the village as I was underway, yet it seems I was already to late. Smoke was rising up from over the tree line. As I dubbled my speed and came from the tree line I could see the village burning. ' Damn I was to late already' Staying in the dark I would come closer to the village and I could hear screaming, pain and suffer was being caused. Yet it seems the villagers were still fighting back. My eyes would stay cold yet focused behind the mask. It was time to show if I was really up for this, was I really able to stand up for them. As I had reached the edge of the village remaining in the dark i would see two bandits try to rape a woman, as they dragged her on the street ripping her Kimono apart. There sick laugh and lust would anger me. Both hands would reach for the handle of a Katana upon my back. Sliding the blades out and in front of me while walking up on them. Being to busy trying to please them self they didn't notice me standing behind them. Both blades would then stick out of there mouths as the woman would scream blood sliding down. Pulling the blades back the bodies would fall. The woman would look up and see a warrior dressed in Grey wearing a Dog like mask.

" Go hide! "

As she would make her way somewhere safe I would rush in further until I noticed another warrior wearing a mask, she took out some more bandits making her way to screaming children inside a building nearby. Wasn't I the only one that had this Idea? Not just walking up at the woman wearing a mask, I would stay in the dark holding blades at hand. But at this point more bandits came at the woman for attacking there own. But before they would come anywhere near her I would slide from the shadows, scarf dancing in the air and hair moving from one side to another, I would stand between her and the two other bandits.

" You will not harm anyone anymore! Make peace with yourself as it will be you're last!"

As the two would charge I would dash forwards using speed and stayed low, both blades at the side I would duck under their strikes slashing there stomachs, as there guts would slide out they would drop near the woman. As she would look at my back and the blades dripping blood.

Charging into the building I ran into allot more guards, seriously how many of them were there? The 10 behind me soon followed and came at me charging, yet 10 would also charge me from the front. Things were turning bad for me at this point. Standing still I would wait till they got closer.

` Guess I have to go all out in the end ´

As they came closer i would dash towards the one coming from the front, smashing the Guan Do into the ones in front knocking them back against the ones following them to give me more time. I would spin around and spin the Guan Do with me slamming them against the first ones coming from the back killing them were they stand.

Dashing forward at them that remained from behind and keep spinning my Guan Do around blocking incoming attacks and counter them with the blade to strike them down swift and fast until they were all gone. This would leave the 10 that come from the front to remain and I would see they were back up on there feet but they felt the strength of a powerhouse and were abit shaken. I would repeat what I did before picking them off one by one while keeping a eye out to block and counter.

The fire would not last long as the rain would put it out, but that was ok. I had broken their spirit with what I did because they never seen that kind of power before. As I noticed they would step back abit I would rush forwards to the confused enemy. Slamming the Guan Do into the first set of 4 I could find knocking them back, as they would stumble back I would slash them at the same time hoping the Guan Do would be able to take all 4.

" You guys have brought this upon yourself. "

Dashing away from the 4 I tried to kill just now even if it didn't work. I dashed at another one and would jump up slamming the Guan Do down trying to cut him in half. I had to show brute force in a way they would lose there will to fight. Nobody wants to be cut in half.

It seemed she was really moved by the gift, yet it was the right thing. It used to belong to the most important person in my life and now it does again. As long as she held the neckless she would never have to worry about being alone anymore. Tears would hit my hand and I would with my thumb wipe them from her eye. Her thank you gave me a warm feeling inside. She was the sole reason why I had changed.

" It used to be hanging around the neck of the most important person of my life, and now it does once more. Even thought you would not hear my name, but when time comes you know it was me that changed the word and helped those unable. You lead the men and make them become the most respected force in this land. "

She would be able to lead them better then I would anyway, she even though her heart was in pain and her arm unable to move right without pain, she was smarter then those around her as she held something special but didn't seem to notice it just yet. She had the power to change people and pull them from the darkness. She didn't see because she herself was still there as well.

" Just remember I will come back for it one day so keep it save "

Before I could slay those I felt my weapon being hit to the side and before I could place it back a kick was smashed into my back making me stumble forwards. just because I grew in strength didn't mean by any chance these warriors were weak, they were a special force of people not only from here but from different parts of the world. They were hired to kill and raid so beating them would not be a easy task. And being me I rushed into it once again. Yet now wasn't time to think about that as I was already in combat with them.

Two spears came near my neck but before they could hit there mark, my Guan Do would spin around cutting both spears in half. At this point I would roll away from them on my left shoulder and with the roll I got back on my feet. Looking around it seems there numbers were still larger then my own. I should have brought those men I fought with. But I left on my own and now have to face them alone. Yet I did have a element of surprise.

" Ever seen a Dragon? "

My words would make no sense if I didn't follow up with what was coming next. With a roar a burst of fire came from the mouth opening of the mask trying to burn as muchts of those in front of me. ( mask power used once 1 per 10 spirit) They had awaken a Dragon among Demons.

Waking up it was time to get of this island, being here for a month was long enough for me till the point worked together with a man I can't stand and despise. But I needed him to get off this island and he made it possible to get away and get back to were I needed to be. Waking up I would grab all I had and need from my own camp and got to the beach. The sun was coming up and the weather was pretty still and the wind would blow in our favor.

" Wake up, it's time we get of this island and forgot this later. I never wanna hear about this. "

I would look at Shou and then walked at the raft I did put on all the armor I had and probably use my covered my Guando blade so it would not cut the raft and let us sink.

Taking orders from Shou just felt wrong and it was just painful, yet I would clench my teeth and walk back into the Forrest looking for smaller tree's. My Guando would be able to take those tree's down with a strike or two. I trained enough to do so. Spinning the weapon around and into the tree time and time again I would rack up some. It did take some time and energy to get them but they weren't really large or big tree's because no way I would be able to get those to the beach anyway. After getting a few I would try and get them there.

One by one I would place them upon the beach but damn it was hard work, and me working with Shou was even more exhausting as neither of us felt good doing so. Yet it was only the way it had to be done if I wanted to leave this island.

" I got some of them here, I will make sure we get enough in the next few days. I will collect for 5 days and you just fix that damn boat so we can get of this piece of shit. "

The next days we didn't speak but just did our job. I just hoped all this would be over soon because I was about to rip this guy his head off.

They seemed to be walking for some time now, I could not tell but finally I could see something in the tree line, it was almost the size of a small castle. Hiding behind a big tree I would start to count the ones outside and they were with allot that's for sure. 20+ and I didn't even seen the inside. How would I even get inside without being seen. I wasn't a ninja at least not yet, and hiding this weapon was not possible so only one thing remained.

I would dash from behind the three and would jump up slamming down the Guando in the first set of patrol's I could find. I just hope I had grown in strength enough to get trough this. I was going to clean this place out and all those with it.

" Maki is home, you will all DIE! "

Days will go by and I could not make anything that would stay dry upon water. And not even knowing if Shou was even still on this island. Would suck knowing if he already made it off and I was still stuck on here. All I did was train and hunt and survive, but who said I would get off here with just the smoke and I could not even have this stupid peace of wood stay above water. Hell I got to curious anyway and upon one day I would sneak up at Shou his camp to see what he was up to.

" What? He got a way better self made boat then me? "

I mumbled the words and stepped from the tree line and just could not believe this guy just bested me with that. I won a fight but this guy wasn't helpless at all anymore and he seemed more able to escape from here then me.

" Hate to say this but, I'm getting sick of being here and you seem to feel that way as well. We have been here for 20 days already and still didn't made it off. Hate to say it but we may need to work...... together on this one. "
