Conquering the Swamp [Dungeon|Open]

[Sanada Yukimura]

When nothing happened, Yukimura would just stare down the hallway, scratching the back of his head. And then he heard the rumbling come from behind him. Slowly turning his head in dread, his eyes would widen as the wall behind them began to move!

"OH CRAP!"

He'd exclaim as he began to run down the hallway, his spear held slightly by his side but mostly in front of him, moving as fast as his legs could possibly take him, because he didn't want to be crushed, and would dive out of the way of the wall as soon as he possibly could.

"THIS IS NOT OUR DAAAAAAAY!"

[Morei Haji]

"DID YOU STEP ON SOMETHING AGAIN, SANADA-SAN?!"

I'd shout in terror as the wall behind us began to move. I would sprint as fast as I could move, my weapon held tightly at my side. I wasn't too worried about Katsumi as she was faster than us and would probably get out of here much sooner, but I would ensure she was in front of me regardless. Not that I had a choice.

As soon as possible, I would also dive out of the way to safety, not wanting to get made into a Haji sandwich today.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Eyes widened at hearing a loud sound from behind, and when Katsumi glanced behind her, the woman's body immediately tensed. The very wall from behind was moving and heading right for them! It would crush the group if they didn't move.

She desperately hoped the others would be fast enough and dashed forward, a bit slower this time so that her keen eyes could search for anymore traps like the last one that hit her square in the face. Katsumi quickly but carefully headed towards safety, and skid to a stop when reaching said safety!

[Oda Nobunaga]

Takehiro: The mercenary caught the ax with his gauntlet, and was able to destroy the knight's! It dropped the ax, and he was able to successfully destroy its shoulders! It fell back in pain, leaving Takehiro open to destroy its tasset and greaves!

Group: The walls would continue to push the group down the paths for three full turns! They would finally escape the walls at a single straight pathway. Halfway down the pathway was a left turn to another long pathway. At the end of the hall the group was at, there was a horse-drawn chariot, and it immediately began charging at the group! They had no time to relax!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro was SUPER excited it worked! He would reach down to pick up the ax the knight dropped, and would slam it down upon its tasset, and then upon each of the greaves. If he was successful, he was sure the knight would be "dead," at which point it would take anything he could off of it and he would turn to loot the chest behind him!

So much WORK!

[Sanada Yukimura]

"I DIDN'T STEP ON ANYTHING! I WAS STANDING STILL MOREI-SAAAAAAAAN!"

Yukimura would cry out as he continued to haul ass, the wall pushing them down the path for three full turns. Finally escaping the wall down a straight hallway, he would catch his breath... or he would've, if it wasn't for the fact there was a chariot barreling towards them!

"YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"

Yukimura would exclaim, as he crouch down low, holding his spear over his out of commission shoulder, and using the length of his spear, would try to sweep it horizontally at the horses' legs, to try and get them to fall forward, while he would push back away from the chariot.

[Morei Haji]

Finally getting away from the wall, I soon learned that we would not be catching a break in this place. A MOTHERFUCKING DEATH CHARIOT FROM HELL WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!

"ARE YOU STILL HAPPY THAT WE STAYED, KATSUMI?!"

I would shout as I took a position opposite from Yukimura, grabbing my conjoined blade by one of the blades and swinging it to get more range as I aimed for the legs as well. Hopefully our combined attack would wipe out the legs from either side, and I would back away as needed, hoping I didn't get run the hell over.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Well, shit. All of the running led to one final turn which spelled further trouble. Since she reached it first (or I'd assume), Katsumi noticed the chariot led by a two-headed horse, and her jaw dropped. When the rest came up shortly afterwards, the woman took a small step backwards and pulled out her bow.

"Shit!"

There was no turning back now, nor time for a deadpan at Haji or a remark, and so she quickly aimed at the horse head on her left, going for the head, hoping she would hit her mark. Katsumi then swiftly bolted forward, veering to the right. Going as fast as she could, the woman proceeded to (attempt to) jump over the spike and land on her feet. If nothing crazy happened afterwards (or she doesn't, you know, die/fail in the process), the archer will immediately swivel around or something. Depends on wtf is on the other side or what happens, so nvm. Idk. xD

[Oda Nobunaga]

[Oda Nobunaga]

Takehiro: The mercenary successfully ripped off all of the knight's armor, stripping it and sending it back into an abyss of darkness! Upon equipping its armor, he would feel another surge of strength rush through his body! Upon opening the chest, he would find a mask that made him feel much lighter on his feet!

Group: Yukimura and Haji's strikes to the legs were successful, as Katsumi shot one of the horse's heads! It collapsed, chariot and all, into a dark mist. The rider jumped off and over Yukimura and Haji, and the two would be whipped in the back, suddenly feeling a burning sensation run all throughout their bodies.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro cheered, adorning his new equipment and LOVING the new surge of power! He would take up his glaive, putting the ax at his waist, and proceed back down the other path, since this one seemed to be a dead end. He had no idea where the fuck he was going, but he'd keep going as long as he could without trouble, his glaive constantly at the ready!

[Sanada Yukimura]

Though they managed to take the chariot and horses out, Yukimura's eyes would widen as the rider jumped off and over him and Haji, barely able to keep up with its movement before feeling a burning sensation run through his body after being whipped by the rider. Falling to one knee as he clutched at his chest, with gritted teeth, he would try to fight through the pain and quickly whirl around to try and slash the rider with his spear, to try and distract it so Katsumi could get some shots in hopefully.

[Morei Haji]

HELL YEAAAAAAANOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

My mental cheers turned to mental cries as the rider gracefully leaped off of his chariot in a badass fashion, and with little time to react, I would feel something strike my back, pain shooting throughout my body as it felt like it was on FIYAAAAAH!

"Argh... son of a..." Gritting my teeth and trying to endure the pain the best I can, I would turn around and thrust my blade at the rider, above where Yukimura slashed. I was certain that together, we could take this guy down.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Katsumi cleared the spike and made it on the other side, running forward some more before swiveling around. After the horse fell, both the supernatural beast and the chariot began to disintegrate and, glancing behind her, Katsumi moved back some more, looking for traps, before facing the back of the rider.

It whipped her companions and Katsumi narrowed her eyes, growling lowly as she fired off two shots, one at the crack in the armor at its neck (or eyes/face, if there is an opening there) and the other at the shoulder.

Takehiro: Takehiro would proceed through a relatively long path with a few turns here and there, and he would be unhindered! Eventually, he would come to a sort of fork. Dead ahead there was another treasure chest, and there was a path he could take to his right, as well!

Group: The Rider would bring one of his whips around in a circle, wrapping it around the two's weapons and tightening it before pulling them in toward himself. Katsumi's arrows would be deflected as he rose his second whip, the material hardening like steel and forming a sword! He would raise it and slash at the two men, aiming to take their heads clean off!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro's eyes widened in excitement. What was this, more loot?! YESS! The others were going to love him after this! ... if he shared! Which he might! He ran up to the treasure chest, quite eager to see what was inside!

"Treasure! That is what I got!"

[Sanada Yukimura]

With his weapon stolen by the rider, as the second whip he formed hardening like steel into a sword, Yukimura's eyes would widen as he would cross his arms in front of his head to try and block the strike.

If he was successful, he would try to grab a hold of the sword and yank it from the rider and use it for his own against it.

[Morei Haji]

"THAT WAS A BRAND NEW WEAPON, ASSHOLE!"

I'd shout, realizing the grave danger I was in. My arms quickly went up to block my face, my gauntlets would take the brunt of the damage for me. If this was successful, I would aid Yukimura and grab at the guy's arm, trying to hold it in place and slamming my fist down on the back of his elbow as hard as I could. If I could break it, that'd be sweet. If not, I was hoping Yukimura could at least wrestle the weapon away from him.

[Shinomori Katsumi]

The shots were deflected, and Katsumi's eyes widened as the second whip hardened like a sword and was being used like a sword. If nothing was done, her friends would be killed!

Drawing back the string of her new bow, Katsumi aimed and fired at the hand with the weapon and then at the shoulder again, hoping to effectively disable the arm, so they would not be hit.

Takehiro: The mercenary would have approached the chest uninhibited, and upon opening it, would find a pair of earrings! If Takehiro ever wanted to look fabulous, now was his chance! NO ONE WAS WATCHING!

Group: The Rider let go of the sword, his gauntlet and arm seeming to phase through Haji's touch, and the arrow Katsumi fired would meet his bare ribs, seeming to have no effect on him! Haji would get punched really hard in the face! Twice! Then Yukimura and Haji's weapons would be thrown behind the rider, the whip formed to a sword, and he aimed to impale Yukimura's hip!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro would take those damn earrings, look around before putting them on, and then ROCK THOSE BITCHES. He felt beautiful. Soon as he was done, though, he would go down the turn on the path. That seemed to be important, so he would continue along it!

[Sanada Yukimura]

Managing to grab the sword, as the rider let go of it, Yukimura would try to block the other whip that formed into a sword with the one in his hand, hopefully preventing the rider from impaling his hip. He'd then try to grab hold of the other sword and yank that one from the rider too, and would've duel-wield that shit, except he only had one working arm...
