KUROSHI MAKI

Shou jerked awake to the sound of a loud roar of anger across the island, rushing out side to see what it was grabbing his sword quickly from where it lay. Looking around the sound had been far off not near, but just really loud. Starting to realise what it was Shou quickly knew he wasn't going to like what, well who was coming his way. Not long later the sight of a enrage Maki appeared from the tree line. Weapon in hand. Shou hoped that this would break down into a fight. Calling him a coward and a thief, Shou felt a sudden burst of anger along with a mix of guilt. He like to think that he was above stealing, but hungry had driven him too it. He had been to tired and hungry to hunt properly before maybe now he could, well if he was still alive after the encounter. 

Shou watched not expecting the man's next action of using his weapon to demolish the make shift home he had built rather then attacking him. Well Shou probably deserved it, plus it wasn't like he couldn't rebuild the hut anyway. "Happy now." Shou spat, he hand twisting on the handle of his sword in anger, ready to defend himself from the other man tried to continue venting his own anger. "Get the hell out of here." Shou would order. Neither of them could really afford to risk getting injured so far away from help, maybe that would push the other man into backing off. 

If the other man left, Shou would wait until he was sure that the other man was out of earshot. "Damn." He would mutter under his breath moving over to the wreckage of what had been where he was sleeping. Most wasn't usable to rebuild. Tossing the branches and such aside, he planned to use them for another purpose later but for now he had to work on rebuilding. Repeating much as he had done before he'd use his sword to cut suitable branches and build another shelter quickly. Before heading out unto the forest and getting a drink from the brook and returning.  Once back, he wouldn't stop working however. He would continue to cut down wood, and start stripping the smaller branches and leaves of them. Putting the larger logs aside, Shou would chuck the rest into his fire and work on relighting it. The plan for next few days now that he was feed, was to get that fire as big as he could. Maybe then someone would see it and rescue him.

(OOC: no worries been in bed alot myself. Stupid tooth extraction still has me real-ling.)

Shou couldn't help but smile to himself when Katsumi, said that she would like him to meet Haji. It sounded like something that would be more inclined to happen during times of peace, and not the war torn days that the land were in. However that didn't mean the idea was unwelcome, it be nice to have more happy days. "I'd be glad to sometime." Shou would agree to the request, not knowing he would meet the man some time in the future but his identity disguised. 

It seemed that on the settling front though the two of them agreed. Shou didn't have a reason too, he had a home back in Kofu, but he was on the road more often then he was there. Like Katsumi he didn't know if the reason of someone else could hold him there either. "I'm sure that you'll come to some accord when the day it possible comes. Either travelling together, or a home that use on occasion rather then constantly like most would." Shou said trying to reassure her that they would come to some understanding that would make both of them happy, rather then only one of them. 

"It's not a bad sounding idea really travelling with someone." Shou added, a half truth in his mind. Yes the idea would make his travel less lonely sometimes, but doubt and fears meant that he was unlikely to do so. Maybe one day he would get over the idea of having people too close. In fact the opening up between him and Kat suggested that day might be closer then he first thought. But it still wasn't today. 

Well I wouldn't mind a few threads with my characters.

Shou - Social wise, shou could do happy or flirt (He wouldn't know your not a girl, and isn't serious after anyone himself as the idea scares him.) Could also be on of the fighters in you 3rd war idea. 

Gabriella - Was planning to aim Gabs more towards the strategic side of battle so could be in either your 1st or 2nd war idea. Also GAbs is always up for a drink

Was starting to worry where youve been man? Hope the the problem of RL improve, take the time you need and all that jazz as they say. We'll all be here when you get back. Just take care man.

Just throwing this up. Any sort of thread anyone wants with either Shou or Gabriella. Just throw me a line in here if your willing. I really felt like I hit a wall last couple days after getting my tooth pulled and need something to do while i recover. 

It another of those kinda uses both stats really. In the same way reaction time, is perceiving the threat and then moving. Aim which is hand-eye coordination (Something in the name) kinda uses both as well. Plus nethier dex or wis actaully list accuracy with ranged weapons as part of what they do. So according to the RAW no stat does it lol.

As far as i know they are rough guideline of people skills instead of stats. 

A high Dex make you better with ranged weapon, but the marksmanship prof is like saying your actually trained as well as innately skilled. You might also be light on your feet with high dex, but a hight Stealth prof would mean you just really practised at being silent.

There may also be some use for Horsemanship down the line, to do with having npcish horses. Might be a cool idea though to create items with not a stat requirement but a Prof one.

Ranged weapon with Markmanship Prof requirement. Armour with the Endurance Prof requirement.

Shou saw how large the camp was, and didn't really like it, but like this escape would be easy. However when he broke away from the tent intending to leave, he realised that his feet were slowly coming back into view. What ever god had granted him this shroud from others eyes did not want him leaving but why. Shou returned to his hiding spot and thought through what had happened so far. 

By the gods, the man had mentioned others before he had been killed, that thought of dying causing him to wince. Hoping that invisibility would come back and last, Shou headed for where had originally been held, maybe these others were also inside and he just hadn't been in a position to see them.

Shou watched as the food was destroyed in front of him, that was annoying. Being pulled out, and beaten similar to the last time, Shou was thrown outside into the light. Looking down his eyes blurred, they must have done as he could have sworn that his feet had briefly not been there.

Maybe not getting the food this time round was leaving him weaker then he through. Shou would move on when instructed, much like before. However this time as they would reach the tent. Shou would dodge forward into the tent when the man tried to kick him inside. Best to avoid as much pain as possible with having eaten. 

Shou listened as the man spoke, knowing that he wasn't going to be able to bluff his way free. However he wasn't going to let go of his loyalty. He eyed the poker, heated and obvious means to torture information out of someone. It did not seem the man, planned to kill him as quickly as he implied. Which made sense, why kill a source of info if you could potential make them break.

"I will tell someone at the Uesugi feet nothing." Shou spat, before breathing inwards and calming himself as he expected the pain to quickly follow. All he had to do was not break, long enough for someone to hopefully come to his aid. And hopefully that aid, or some means of escape would come before the man grew to impatience and did just have Shou killed.
