Yukimura: The Samurai was incapable of knocking any of the weapons away! The bandit was pushed back, however, allowing Yukimura the time to get up and steady himself, though the other bandit had the same opportunity. He was surrounded on both sides.
Takehiro: Takehiro was unable to reach the elder! Four more villagers appeared from the huts, three of which rushed the bandits surrounding their elder. The fourth one charged Takehiro, wielding a hammer!

Special villager stats:
Str: 12(16)
Dex: 12(10)
Con: 10
Wis: 10
Spr: 10
Katsumi: Katsumi's arrow pierced one of the bandits surrounding the elder! However, just as her arrow left her bow, another bandit charged up the roof she was on and tackled her to the ground!

Kamaitachi: Kamaitachi was successful, outmaneuvering his opponent and slaying him! He was free to do as he pleased!
- 1 Villager
Masaru: The boy was not quick enough! His foot would be impaled by the bandit, who ripped the blade outward. If the boy continued to walk, it would be very difficult!
Masaru - 1/2 Dex for the remainder of the thread.

Masaru's next attack was kind of impressive. The burst of speed and the spirit he showed, anyhow. However, it was still nothing compared to Masanobu's skill. He slashed upward, parrying both of Masaru's swords, and would deflect them to the side. This would cause the boy to stumble, at which point Masanobu would put his katana to the boy's neck. It was so sharp he would bleed if it were to touch him.
"You got guts, kid. I'll acknowledge that. But you ain't got the strength to back it up."
Masanobu's eyes would narrow and look into Masaru's. How would the boy react...?

[OoC: After this post, Shingen will be handling the GMing for the bounty.] Amidst the current chaos of the cavern, a Samurai made his entrance. He was tall and fit, though his body was hidden under several layers of cloth and armor, and a hood covered his head. Two spears rested on his back, strapped around his torso. Two swords were sheathed, tied two his waist. He looked like a warrior, but then, so did many of the other people here. He walked up to the bar, making a very quiet exchange with the innkeeper. A large sack of coins was slid across the counter, and the man made his way to a room. |

Masanobu - visually bored - swatted both of the katanas to the side with ease as Masaru charged. He would meet the boy's charge, leaning down and ramming his shoulder into the kid's chest. He was visibly faster than the boy, and evidently stronger, as the hit would - should it connect - send him up into the air. Masanobu would quickly follow up with a power side kick to the boy's stomach, and send him rolling back.
"That all you got, kid?"
He laughed, pulling a small container from his waist and taking a drink from it. He spit the liquid out along his blade, and let it hang loose at his side.
"If you're really a Samurai, show me some real skill!"

Yukimura: The two bandits separated in their charge as Yukimura dove, allowing him to trip one, but not the other. As he slid along the ground, the remaining bandit's sword would strike the ground as well, being dragged along Yukimura's path, and it was being aimed to cleave the Samurai in two!
Takehiro: The spear would meet the villager's flesh, ripping it apart and slaying him, as he fell in a pool of his own blood.
- 1 Villager.
Katsumi: Katsumi would make it to the roof unharmed, and she had a clear view of the battlefield. She could spot four bandits in the open - each striking the Village Elder, and Takehiro. Kamaitachi was nowhere in sight, nor was the Bandit Chief.
Kamaitachi: Kamaitachi's strike would be successful, but as he attempted to lift the man overhead, he would find the villager was just too heavy! The villager lifted both arms overhead, and would slam them into the mercenary's spine, aiming to send him crashing into the ground.
Masaru: Masaru rolled out of the way in time! His arm was bleeding pretty bad, though, and he'd need to get a tourniquet on it! He charged the bandit, who blocked his strike, and sent his sword down to impale the Samurai's foot.

Masanobu sighed as the boy charged. Lazily, he raised his blade above his head, catching Masaru's strike and putting the two in a deadlock. However, Masaru would find himself getting pushed back. If he resisted, his feet would drag backward through the dirt. Masanobu yawned, putting his shoulder forward, and launching his blade out, which would push the kid back, and if he wasn't careful, he would stumble and fall right on his ass.
"Try again."
Once more, his sword was held out, pointing at Masaru.

As an act of good will, your Lordship has sent his men out to rebuild the villages in his territory. Work with the men of the village to improve their living conditions. Not only is it nice - you're getting paid to do it!
Objective: Help rebuild the villages in your territory. This can be building or improving huts, helping to stabilize the local market - anything you can think of!
Other things you can do: Gather water from wells, or the river.
Build Wells!
Assist the blacksmith!
Basically, this is an open-ended SPQ, prioritizing assisting the people of any village in your faction's territory.
Reward: +3 Str
Location: Any village in your faction's territory.

All across the lands, there are men and women who've performed deeds someone didn't like. Because of this, a price has been put on their heads. Anyone who thinks they've got what it takes - mercenary or otherwise - can take up these contracts, and go for the gold. These targets are typically NPCs GMed by myself or another mod. However, PCs may be added to the list by other PCs. To add a character, PM my account with the player name, and how much you're willing to pay for them to be hunted down.
Be warned: The stats for these bounties will not be listed, nor will their weapon, or location. It is up to you to find them. You can start your search by creating a thread in any territory and tagging it [Bounty]. Just list the target you will be hunting in your thread, and, at any time, your target will appear in one of your threads.
If more than one player takes part in the bounty hunt, the reward will be split 50/50 unless agreed otherwise by the players.
More bounties may be added at any time.

Masanobu simply laughed, taking a few steps back from the kid, his head in his palm. Catching himself, he just nodded, getting the rest of the laughs out of his system and pulling the sword from his sheath. If this kid wanted to be trained, he'd have to prove he was worth it, and not just everybody was worthy of being one of Oda's vassals right off the bat!
"Tell you what kid," he managed between chuckles. "You, uh, whip out your katana. Do it."
He wanted to be taught, he better be good.

Yukimura: While Yukimura had been tying the sheath to himself, two of the villagers at the front had been bested and slain! This freed up two bandits, who both charged at Yukimura!
- 2 Villagers
Takehiro: The two were caught in a deadlock! Takehiro would win (1/2(Str + Dex) vs 1/2(Str + Dex)), causing the villager to stumble back. The strike to the sternum was successful, but the overhead strike was parried, sending Takehiro's balance off! The villager then swung both katanas in a wide arc, aiming to decapitate the mercenary!
Katsumi: The closest two bandits Katsumi could find would be the two attacking Masaru - but only one was in her line of fire, unless she opted to attack her possible ally! Her arrow would soar and catch one of the men in the shoulder, knocking him to the floor and rendering his arm useless.
Kamaitachi: The bandit responded to the attack quickly! His left forearm was held in front of his face as a guard, while his right hand shot up to catch the sickle as it flew. The bandit stepped forward, wrapping his arm around the chain, and sending a powerful left straight toward Kamaitachi's face!
Masaru: Masaru was capable of blocking the attacks from both sides! However, this left his strength divided! The two bandits would kick his legs out from under him, though one of the two bandits fell victim to arrow fire just after. The remaining bandit aimed to strike him on the ground and impale him through the chest.
