Objective: While remaining mounted, you must complete three laps around an obstacle course. This is all about mastering horse control. The course will include fifteen small jumps, five medium jumps, two large jumps, and six turns per lap.

Takehiro: The mercenary was able to maneuver as he wished, his feet slamming the undead jaws in, causing them to stumble back! As he recovered and dealt his blows to their necks, the gunpowder in the chamber ignited, sending out a powerful force that snapped them, causing the undead to fall to the floor, re-dead! - 2 Undead Yukimura: Yukimura was fortunate enough that the zombie's body was weaker than his, and his escape worked! He would retrieve the weapons, and get to safety! Haji: After a few headbutts, dazing him, Haji was successful! His blade would cleave through the zombie's neck, effectively decapitating it! - 1 Undead Katsumi: Katsumi was lucky enough to kick the zombie away, but he didn't feel pain, so he was able to react quickly! Just before the woman could stab his face in, she was dealt a hard punch to her jawline, though she succeeded in ending the monster's life! AGAIN! - 1 Undead With just one undead left at Yukimura's feet, yet another blood curdling shriek could be heard! If they looked up, they would see five creatures crawling along the ceiling, charging at the group! Two bounded toward Takehiro, and one each targeted the others! Creature Stats: Str: 20 Dex: 20 Con: 15 Wis: 10 Spr: 5 Total KOs: 9

Takehiro: The two undeads' heads would roll from their bodies, having been cleaved off! However, the mercenary had barely any time to react as he was struck across the face by the hilt of a blade, and knocked to the ground! Two undead stood above him, aiming to impale him with their blades!

Yukimura: The samurai was indeed able to pry his blade free, decapitating the undead warrior! However, before he could follow Takehiro's orders, arms wrapped around him! One was under his left arm, sticking it straight out and hindering the joint, and the other wrapped around his neck, putting him in a chokehold! His spear fell to the floor!

Haji: Haji barely avoided the blades, getting a large cut across his stomach! Fortunately the cut was small enough so his insides wouldn't spill out. He was also lucky enough to decapitate the undead warrior, though he would quickly find himself tackled and pinned to the ground, being headbutted by another ferocious warrior!

Katsumi: She was able to get a shot off, with her comrades falling and her stepping to the side. One arrow soared straight into one of the warriors' heads, sending him crashing to the ground! Though, her legs were suddenly burdened with the heavy weight of another foe, and she was tackled to the ground as well! Her bow fell far out of reach!

[OoC: Starting off with some low roles... delicious.]
Takehiro: Takehiro was able to make two of the undead stumble, and he managed to rip off one's leg from the pull! Two were open targets, if he wanted to go for them, but, being at the front, he was also the most likely target for the rest of the undead!
Yukimura: One of the undead caught Yukimura's spear as it was swung toward him as it cut into his leg. He held himself firm, tugging on Yukimura's spear and pulling him into the fray, swinging his katana down toward the samurai's forehead!
Haji: The undead he threw the blade at caught his weapon, spinning both blades he now held in an intimidating sword dance! He shrieked at Haji, sending gross spit flying all over the boy's face, and he then charged at him, aiming to impale him with both blades!
Katsumi: Katsumi had no clear targets! She was able to get a single arrow off, getting one of the zombies in their arm, but the undead felt no such pain! If she tried to fire her other two arrows, she was in danger of hitting all three of her allies, unless she moved!

Upon the door breaking down, a blast of wind would rush outward. While it was not enough to blow the group backward, they would surely be startled. The smell of death and decay would fill their lungs, and the sounds of screams would intensify, growing louder with each second. Suddenly, all noise would halt. The wind would dissipate, leaving only a small breeze, coming from the entrance to the castle.
Inside, the room was dark, but not so much nothing could be seen. Chains hang from the ceiling, several of which were holding skeletons by their necks, dangling above the doorway. Bodies, old and new, could be found all across the floor, which was stained with blood and mud. At the far end of the room, a large doorway could be found. That was their goal.
The group would feel something tugging on them, but it was nothing physical. A force, perhaps something spiritual, pulled the group into the chamber, and suddenly the door Takehiro broke down was blocked off by a wall of darkness. Candles all along the wall lit up, perfectly illuminating the room. The bodies of the dead soldiers on the ground slowly started returning to their feet, each one armed with katana. With deathly screeches, they charged the group.

To enter Numa Castle, start a thread in this sub-board stating your entry. You may go down one of three paths to start. After completing one path, you may proceed down another, until you've completed all three, for extra loot. Though, no mercy will be shown for the weak.
LEFT WING:
1) Pass through all of the traps without losing a single member
2) Obtain the Daimyo's treasure and bring it back to the start.
3) You must make it back to the entrance to be successful.
RIGHT WING:
1) The team must make it through this maze and retrieve the Daimyo's treasure before time runs out.
2) You must not lose a team member to traps or enemies.

MIDDLE CHAMBER:

Check here for any and all updates! These are important to make note of, so check every so often.
PROFICIENCY:
First off, the proficiency system! Players will be able to gain proficiency in certain categories by completing certain SPQs, and the ranks grow from D to S. The categories are as follows:
Leadership - This measures how well you can lead people. The higher your leadership, the more people will follow you, and the more effective you will be at leading them. B-rank leaders will be able to create their own factions (given they fulfill other requirements).
Marksmanship - This measures how good of a shot you are. The higher it is (paired with dex) the more precise your shots will be. S-rank marksmen will never miss a shot from 100 yards.
Fitness - This measures how well you can perform in extreme conditions and strange terrain. The higher it is, the less likely you are to become fatigued from going through different environments.
Stealth - This measures how effective your character is at stealth exercises. As it raises, you become more effective at sneaking, and as such, are harder to notice when in stealth situations. You also gain quieter steps, so that helps!
LOCATIONS:
Eric/Kenshin has added a few boards to add some variety to the threads. These include the desert of Gassantoda, Seto Sea, the Satsuma swamps, and Chosokabe/Mori fortresses Shikoku/Itsukushima. Check them out!

Nagahide brought his arm in as his blade was pushed aside, and he slashed in a wide arc, aiming to cut Yukimura's fingers, and hold the spear back with his blade. He was intent on keeping the guy at bay long enough so he could pull out his other sword. From that point, he would rip the blade from its sheathe and slice across Yukimura's waist, just under his stomach.

The man frowned under his hood. There wasn't even any way the real Shinsuke could know of this, considering he was dead in the ground. Yukimura's arrogance angered him, and he quickly drew his blade, putting it toward the man's neck. He seemed to misunderstand the possibilities of ignorance, even within one's own family, due to the tasks of the army.
"Well, General," he began, cracking his neck. "Sarutobi Shinsuke is dead, and I plan to offer his head, along with yours, to Uesugi Kenshin."
The carriages that were halted quickly proceeded down the path, leaving only Yukimura and Nagahide to do battle.

Need a little more on the history. Gotta explain those eyes and why his hair prematurely grayed, since it's HEAVILY unnatural in the current time-period, and the super-natural stuff hasn't occurred yet. Also, the bio approval phrase is necessary for approval. Fix these up and either reply to this, or send me a PM and I'll take another look.
