Check here for any and all updates! These are important to make note of, so check every so often.

PROFICIENCY:
First off, the proficiency system! Players will be able to gain proficiency in certain categories by completing certain SPQs, and the ranks grow from D to S. The categories are as follows:

Leadership - This measures how well you can lead people. The higher your leadership, the more people will follow you, and the more effective you will be at leading them. B-rank leaders will be able to create their own factions (given they fulfill other requirements).

Marksmanship - This measures how good of a shot you are. The higher it is (paired with dex) the more precise your shots will be. S-rank marksmen will never miss a shot from 100 yards.

Fitness - This measures how well you can perform in extreme conditions and strange terrain. The higher it is, the less likely you are to become fatigued from going through different environments.

Stealth - This measures how effective your character is at stealth exercises. As it raises, you become more effective at sneaking, and as such, are harder to notice when in stealth situations. You also gain quieter steps, so that helps!

LOCATIONS:
Eric/Kenshin has added a few boards to add some variety to the threads. These include the desert of Gassantoda, Seto Sea, the Satsuma swamps, and Chosokabe/Mori fortresses Shikoku/Itsukushima. Check them out!

TOURNAMENT:
There's a tournament going on, and the winner receives cash and an item! TOTALLY worth checking out!

QUEST:
The Battle of Okehazama is up, and round one is about to be over! Anyone who hasn't joined but wants to, you've got very little time left!

GMing:
In regards to GMing, it seems that there is A LOT going on. Before my week of inactivity, all I was doing was GMing, and during that week, all Kenshin was doing was GMing. I humbly ask that people start doing more social threads, seeing as 90% of the moving threads so far are all GMed. I hate to do this, but if people don't cool it with the amount of GMed threads, I'm going to start imposing limits on how many you can do, and when. Let's avoid that, please.

ACCOUNT CLEANING:
In the coming week, I'm going to be throwing up an Activity Check thread. THIS IS GOING TO BE IMPORTANT. You're going to want to post the name of all of your active accounts if you want to prevent them from being deleted. This is being done because there are far too many accounts that have been made that have been left unused.

HELPERS:
Another thing that will be thrown up in the coming week: Staff Applications. We're looking for some help to handle GMing and other various, small things. The applications will be thrown up asap, and I ask that any member who's been with us for a while sends one to us.

FACTION DECISIONS:
There seem to be a few instances where people just decide the fate of faction relations without prior consent of the Daimyos of either. This is NOT okay. While we appreciate members getting involved to try and steer the plot, these NEED to be discussed with the Daimyos before being done, because it could heavily help or hinder their plots. Please be considerate.
