Ryunosuke felt relieved to have a strong warrior like this person at his front as part of the force of Totomi. Now they would have nothing to fear from bandits and warmongers around them, so long as they have this hell of a fighter. He found himself shouting gleefully with his arms outstretched to the sky, and so are the people on the ship, and the shouts could be heard from some distance from the ship.

As the cheers died down, Ryunosuke said to the man, "Well I have to introduce myself to you. I am Ichimura Ryunosuke, member of the Totomi regular militia."

Ryunosuke thought that it would be a harder battle when the Kitabatake strikes back against Totomi given the show today, but as the man pledged his blade and soul for the people of Totomi, he would think that, in his leadership, the force of Totomi would grow to be a strong one, one that will better safeguard the people of Totomi from further harm.

He then knelt towards the floor he stood on, and said, "When you amass a stronger defense force for the safeguarding of Totomi, please consider our aim to protect our land from further harm. Consider that the militia of Totomi, fiercely fighting to keep our people from harm, will do its best to keep Totomi safe. Please take us in." With those words, the other militia who were on the boat also knelt down, shouting in unison, "Please take us in, sir!"

Ryunosuke landed on another enemy ship when he saw that the dark warrior blasted the ship down. The sight angered him, for it was already boarded by the Totomi militia. He was about to aim towrds the dark warrior when he heard a shout, "We're still alive here!" He then squinted towards the direction of the sunken ship, and saw the militia who were supposed to board the ship, all complete and riding on the small ship that they used to travel towards the taken ship.

Ryunosuke then was consumed with mixed laughter and anger, both coming from the dark warrior's full retard move in nullifying their victory. The Totomi militia were supposed to board the ship, but the dark warrior took them out of the ship before blowing it up to smithereens? Now he did not know if the dark warrior is a true hero or a true retard. The words that he meant to say to the dark warrior was evidently written all around his face: "Y U DO DAT?!"

While Ryunosuke was still sulking, a number of sailors, their katanas drawn came rushing towards him. When Ryunosuke heard the footsteps of the sailors, he turned around, his red eyes seemed to make a slash against the sailors. He then shouted, his voice accompanied with what seemed to be lunacy, "I AM IN A BAD MOOD, SO DON'T MESS WITH ME!" He then swung his gun-blade towards the sailors' legs, chopping them down as Ryunosuke seems drunk in a maniacal laughter. When the dark warrior finally came onto the ship, all of the sailors lay down on the ground and Ryunosuke now looked as if he was on a hangover. He finally fired his matchlock into the air, signaling that the ship could already be boarded, and then saying to the dark warrior, "If you'll make the similar mistake as you did before, I would really get crazy, damn it."

Ryunosuke saw the two people behind him, and he was relieved that they were still alive. He then pondered about the current place he was in. After some seconds of thought, he decided to take a left turn. Those blue vortices were really tricky; he did not want to decide going there at some point.

On the sweltering heat of day in the deserts of Gassantoda, Ryunosuke struggled to pull his cart across the dunes. This place was where his interest in gunnery started. A minor clan in this area had defeated a major clan using their tactics in using the rifle, and had killed a lot of their enemies. Ryunosuke had witnessed the war while also pulling a cart of minerals along the way, and had also accidentally participated in the war. By that time, he was convinced of the power of guns to speed up the pace of war.

Now he passed through this desert to acquire the minerals he needed for the next orders to come. But on this day, he had another material to search for: something to alloy the metal he used for his shots so that it would not fragment when fired. It was said that that material occurred in large quantities in an oasis within the desert, and so he would take a look there.

While he was pulling his cart towards that oasis, he heard the noise of fighting and insulting nearby. Interested on seeing hot two people fight on the heat of the desert, he moved towards the source of the noise, and he saw two people... humping each other. Ryunosuke widened his eyes on such a sight, and when the foreigner tries to shift himself into a much better position, the sight becomes more awkward, and Ryunosuke can't control his laughter. He even shouted, "More, more!" as he laughed at that sight. He collapsed into a laughing fit when the two collapsed, still in an awkward position. That really made his day, and Ryunosuke struggled to leave the two, dragging his cart along, laughing so hard. He can't continue any longer, he might die of laughter.

"Oh hell, what the..." were the only words that Ryunosuke spoke when he saw the dark warrior on the deck. If Ryunosuke was a demon, then this one would be a Shogun over demons. The warrior effortlessly sent forth waves of dark energy towards the sailors, dilapidating the ship they were on, before sending forth a large one as he jumped with Ryunosuke in tow, sinking it.

"Now that was really something," Ryunosuke muttered as he was carried by the warrior to the next ship. He saw a number of sailors on the deck of the ship, drawing their weapons as they were going down towards the ship. He then aimed at the sailors, and with the successive discharges of the gun the sailors fell down on the deck, bleeding profusely. When they landed on the ground he continued to fire, finishing off all of the sailors on the deck. He then sent again a signal to the Totomi marines using his matchlock, and a number of militia aboard a small ship boarded the large ship, and turned it against their owners. The other ship had some victory confusing the naval force of the Kitabatake, firing off the cannons of the ship which really belonged to the attackers towards the owners of the ship, severely damaging some of the enemy ships.

"Thank you for your help in aiding Totomi against these infidels," Ryunosuke said to the dark warrior, before moving towards another ship using his grappling hook.

Ryunosuke fired his pistol at the head of the creature, but it did not seem to affect the creature, "Maybe I need to fire on everything on his body then," he thought as he discharged a bullet towards the creature's chest. This did seem to affect the creature, which collapsed following that shot.

"...All right, that was quick," he thought as he took what the creature dropped, walked forward, and took the first left he saw. But he kept alert of his surroundings though. This maze is swarming with monsters.

I have been a veteran of conquest simulator RPs, so I agree on giving Shou's suggestions a close look. As for selling items to another player, I remembered once a rule in the marketplace of a simulator that items should be sold within the price bracket of 75%-125% of their fair market price. I would think that would work for items whose aggregate stats without upgrading is less than 5, but pondering about unique items that can only be found in dungeons or quests, the upper limit should be bumped to 150% if their stats exceeded that of the maximum stat of a created item. I suggest that this rule be considered for planning.

"Argh, that hurts!" Ryunosuke shouted out after he was smashed and thrown into a wall like a rag doll by an unknown creature He then glanced at the creature and said, "Surprising me, eh? Well I would surprise you also!" He then would move backward and shoot the creature's head. But if for some reason it would live without its head, like those knights from before, he would shoot the creature on all parts of its body, while moving away from the creature.

As he went home to his smithy after a long day of vending his wares, Ryunosuke felt something weird. He had sold all of his wares that were made that day, yet a deep anxiety loomed on his countenance. He wondered why that feeling was still with him He then noticed, as he walked around the smithy, that the door to his sleeping quarters was left ajar. Normally he closed that door before leaving the smithy, which made him more anxious. He opened the door, and saw a note lying on a side table. He picked up the note, and on it was written a phrase, and Ryunosuke said aloud the words on the note: "Time is running out." He then muttered, "What did the person meant by that...!" Only then did Ryunosuke remember what is on the side table, and he knew what that note meant. After locking the room and the smithy, he sprinted out of the marketplace.

The road to Shinano was somewhat filled with a lot of curves, but since Ryunosuke knew that way while he was still a blacksmith serving the Takeda, he moved through the forests and jungles, carving a straight path towards the nearest Takeda outpost. But, as he was a fugitive from the Takeda, he did not enter there. He just hid beneath the grass, traversing that path from Shinano back to Totomi. As he was moving back to Totomi under the shadows, he saw a man traversing the road to the outpost. As he moved closer, he saw that it was a fellow member of the Totomi militia. He then looked again at the note. As that man was also of his unit, he had the chance of seeing his handwriting. And his handwriting seemed to fit the calligraphy of the note that was in his hand right now.

He quietly moved back nearer towards Shinano, and then pretended to be a casual passerby until he met the man. He then said, "What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" The other man appeared to be caught red-handed, which reinforced Ryunosuke's thoughts. He then continued, "This is the road to the holdings of the Takeda in Shinano. You're a Totomi militia, and you're traveling to Shinano in the middle of the night. Did you mean to betray the interests of our prefecture to the Takeda?"

At that instant the man drew his katana. He then said, "You are always a thorn in my side while I am aspiring to be the nest militia commander. You had always passed all of the challenges given to you, you had the highest bandit body count of all the militia, and what's more, the militia commander had a high opinion of you. Those achievements should be reserved for me! But now, since I knew your identity, I had more chances of being a close retainer of the Takeda. In a way you will help me mold my destiny!"

"Ah," Ryunosuke said, as if the man's words did not matter much to him, "so you're the one who stole my necklace."

"Oh, this?" The man showed something on his hand. It was a necklace, and what dangles from it is carved from a large round bronze piece, and what is carved is the mon of the Murai family of blacksmiths of Shinano.

"When I give this to the Takeda, and tell them that the Totomi prefecture is harboring a deserter from their ranks, they will surely attack Totomi, and when they succeed, I'll be assigned as the daimyo of Totomi, and I will be huge! HUGE!" The man burst out laughing. "But since you have discovered my plot, I will also bring your corpse to the Takeda, and it will accelerate my fame! Prepare to die, Murai Ryunosuke!" While saying those words, he charged towards Ryunosuke. But Ryunosuke only drew his gun-blade, aiming at the man.

"Surely that would only fire after some seconds! You'll die before you fire the shot!" The man said as he closes in on Ryunosuke within 5 paces.

Ryunosuke only said, "Sorry, you're too late to dodge this," before pulling the trigger. The barrel shook instantly as he pulled the trigger, discharging a round that hit the forehead of the man, and penetrated to the other side of his head, and the man fell on the ground. He then picked up the necklace that fell on the ground with the man, and went back to Totomi.

"That's for messing up with my past and endangering the land that accepted me," he muttered.

The sun heavily beat down on Ryunosuke as he ran back towards his smithy, which was also within the marketplace. But the fact that it was on the east side made him all the more concerned. As said by the man, the bandits were on the east side of the marketplace, and it was possible that the smithy, as well as his gear, may be compromised.

"Damn, why are bandits attacking here in the first place?" Ryunosuke muttered the question that he also knew the answer of. Of course it was one of the seasons of high volume of people in the marketplace, and the people who visit in this time of year are mostly merchants and wastrels who will spend on anything they can place their hands on. It is therefore normal that they would attack. Therefore it is not normal that the militia, including himself, were also on break during this time of year.

Silently cursing himself for seeking fortune in his wares more than the security of his area, he continued to run towards the east side. Fortunately his two pistols were on the holsters assigned for them, since he would be needing them ahead. A demon, which looked like some refection of his self in his gear, was also running somewhat near him, but he did not see nor mind it. It was his job not to let the people who admitted him here get hurt.

When he finally arrived at the east side of the marketplace, as he passed through some stalls, he saw some bandits looting a stall, the keeper nothing to do about it as the bandits stuffed their bags and their bodies with fruits. After another seconds of running, he saw a woman being harassed by three of these fiends over a stall that was supposed to be selling pottery. Still after another second, he saw a detachment, breaking up the door of a restaurant. He felt sad after seeing those things.

"If I was only there faster than I could..." he muttered as he sprinted across a narrow road. At last he had reached his smithy, where two of the bandits were about to break down the door.

"Hey, you're looking for something in my wares?" He shouted at the bandits, who had their katana drawn.

"Just tell us how to open it, and we'll consider saving your life!" one of the bandits said, moving his katana over his shoulder.

"Hey, too desperate for metalcrafts?" Ryunosuke smiled confidently. "I have some here, want to try it out?"

"My pleasure!" The bandit shouted, then ran towards Ryunosuke with his partner. Ryunosuke drew both of his pistols, one the very antiquated matchlock he had been always using, and one seemed to be the fusion of a pistol and a wakizashi. As one bandit charged at him with an overhead slash, Ryunosuke parried it with the matchlock, and then slashed at the bandit's unguarded stomach. However the other bandit managed to wound Ryunosuke's cheek as Ryunosuke attempted to evade the decapitating blow.

After some seconds of agony, the wounded bandit fell down on the ground, as Ryunosuke managed to get way from the bandit. "I admit, you've got skill, but..." He aimed the gun-blade at the bandit, who charged again at him. The gun fired without what should have been a delay when Ryunosuke pulled the trigger, which shocked the bandit as he was hit by a very powerful round through his chest, felling him down.

"Now that should do it," Ryunosuke muttered as he walked towards the smithy when he was again stopped by a slash from behind. Ryunosuke manged to evade it as he rolled towards the smithy, but another wound had been added to his chick in the process.

"Now damn it," he muttered.
