Katsumi would backtrack, and the only available path to go now was forward if she ignored the turn that she came from. At the very end of this path, there would be a ladder leading upwards. It would take her right into the courtyard of the castle, which didn't look too different from a normal castle... minus the multitudes of patrolling mushroom men.

Brandt would succeed in slaying the Creature on his face, the monster unable to dodge at such close proximity! However, he would completely miss as Gabriella was dragged off!
Haruyuki's blade would get caught in the flesh of the monster, and it wasn't enough to finish it! The beast pulled Haruyuki close via the blade, clawing at his stomach and wounding him!
Gabriella would be able to shoot and kill both of the Creatures dragging her around the room, causing her to skid to a halt! She was in a lot of pain, but she was safe now!

The Rider would turn around in the middle of Kenji's assault, taking the blow directly to the front of his skull! The blow would be enough to kill him, but not before the Rider was able to get one final attack on Kenji, backhanding him as hard as he could, tearing his cheek open gruesomely! The Rider would fall to the ground, dead. His weapon was now lootable, as was one piece of armor! (Shawl, Greaves, Tasset (wouldn't grab this though unless you run into a second Rider, just saying), Necklace, Gauntlets) He was now free to go on!

Katsumi's arrows would pierce the serpent's head with enough force to slam it to the ground, it twitched, unable to move anymore. In height of its attack, it was left open to a killing blow from the archer!
If she listened closely, she'd be able to hear the sound of hissing, followed by another scream just under where she was standing! If Katsumi went to investigate, she'd find a person being swallowed whole by another snake!

Haruyuki would successfully slay the creature that had been pinning Brandt down, as he held it away long enough for him to do the necessary deed! In addition, he would manage to intercept a creature that was coming at Gabriella from behind! The creature stood its ground, staring Haruyuki down!
- 1 Creature (4 Creatures, 4 Crawlers remaining)
Brandt would successfully annihilate every Crawler with his vicious swinging! However, at the end of his strike, he was left open to yet another Creature tackling him to the ground! It planned to finish the job that his brethren had failed, aiming to try and slice his face open!
- 4 Crawlers (4 Creatures remaining)
Gabriella would have no luck whatsoever! Haruyuki successfully stopped one Creature from getting to her, but that still left two of them! They would ram into the girl's stomach and send her backwards, before they dug their claws into her legs and began to drag her around the room on her back! Ouch!

Kenji's fists would deal more damage to the Rider, causing the cracks to spread wider! Victory seemed so close! But in anger, the Rider would rise to his feet, grabbing Kenji and throwing him against the wall nearby! The Rider then turned around, planning on picking up his whip sword from earlier!

Brandt would be able to return the girl hope safely, the grandfather would thank him deeply and would pay him a large sum of money. The girl showed her gratitude through happy tears. They would never forget the Nord's kindness.

The girl was worried, but not scared after Brandt explained who he was. She nodded quietly, hiding behind the tall man. She would stick close to him, just anxious to get out of this place.
"Th..thank you..."
All he had to do was get out of here. Chances were Brandt would meet little resistance after he had killed so many men.

Brandt's arm would be stabbed with the dagger, saving his life at the cost of his wound, and the man would have no chance to react to the bolts that shot out from the crossbow, as each one ended up embedded in his skull. He would fall back, dead, without a word, falling victim to the one he called a dog.
There was a key on his belt that belonged to the woman's cell.

Yukimura's blast of fire would travel down the tunnel far... eventually hitting a wall, burning a banner that had been hung from it, so that he could not see whose symbol was on it. A bandit had narrowly avoided the blast. "What in the..." he stated out of shock, before looking over at Yukimura and screaming.
"INTRUDER! INTRUDER!"
A large group of men would gather their weapons, hoping to impede Yukimura's path. Several archers were in the back, and they began to fire arrows at the advancing Takeda soldier.

The man would bring his sword up in an attempt to parry Brandt's blow, barely successful, but Brandt's blade would still find its place in the man's shoulder, digging into it. The only thing keeping him from being cleaved in two was his own hunk of metal, still partially embedded into the wall. The man would grunt, producing a dagger from behind his back with his right hand, attempting to stab it into Brandt's chest!

Kenji always seemed to get a stroke of luck whenever his end seemed imminent! He would successfully manage to pull the Rider to the ground, flooring him and slamming his skull into the ground! The Rider let go of the whip, and was momentarily stunned! Perhaps Kenji would be able to deliver a finishing blow!

Although Brandt would manage to swipe his weapon along his opponent's, the man would let go of his weapon, allowing it to drop to the floor as he jumped away to avoid that slash and his wrists getting damaged. He would instantly charge in, shoulder tackling Brandt and slamming him against the wall before grabbing his sword again, attempting to thrust it forward to impale the Nord against the wall!

Kenji would manage to trip the Rider up, slamming him down on his skull. Another crack would appear, and the Rider would howl, but it wasn't enough to bring him down yet. He used his whip sword and swung it at Kenji, wrapping it around his neck and starting to choke him!

The man smirked at Brandt's words, not phased at all. He seemed confident that the Nord was no match for him.
"Tell you what... I'm going to kill you slowly in front of this girl, so she knows that there's no escape for her."
And with that, the man would charge Brandt, swinging his massive sword in a horizontal arc at waist level, coming from Brandt's right.

Kenji would be able to pull the Rider close, the strike against his skull seemed to be mighty effective, as the Rider roared in pain and a crack became visible on his skull. In his anger, he would pull Kenji close and clothesline him, knocking the merc to the ground. He then proceeded to stomp on his stomach while he was downed.
