I'm on the fence about Remember Me. I remember it went on sale but I didn't buy it, and now a month afterwards it's free on PS+. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it free at the least. xD

I'll see about getting descriptions up of the Oda, Takeda, and Uesugi first since they're the most important ones for our state of the board (sorry Date, you aren't important until later. >.>). Oda is the first bad guy/major quest villain, so yeah.
Edit: Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing how that goes with the recruitment.

Ys is addictive so you might be waiting a while, haha.
And yeah, Payday 2 came out for free download yesterday (4.2 GB patch, my god) so next week will be Remember Me. I'm really excited for that actually.

Our low member count really makes a lot of things a bit difficult when trying to utilize the Daimyos IC. We only have one Takeda member (Yukimura), one Uesugi member (Hidenori), no active Oda members (who is the central force right now), the majority of players are flocking to Mercenary or the Hojo.
I think they just see the faction boost and go for it, or are not sure of what Daimyo does what and so they just pick Mercenary to begin with since there isn't much knowledge needed in being one compared to actively knowing about your force. Maybe we could put up some descriptions to help with this.

Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Sengoku BASARA are my go to game series when life's really getting to me. Nothing beats slaughtering thousands of enemies stylishly.
There's also Warriors: Legends of Troy which was pretty awesome too.
If you're up for an RPG, I recommend the Ys franchise. Memories of Celceta on the Vita is my current favorite Vita game. The Oath in Felghana is one of the more challenging, but fun games to come out of the PSP generation and it's on the PSN. Killer soundtrack too. Ys Seven is also wonderful. They're all standalone titles so you can jump into any single one without worry.
EDIT: The Ys games are action RPGs in every sense of the word. The gameplay is fast, hectic, and the primary focus of the game. The plots are generally classic ones as the games are mostly remakes of older Ys titles (Oath in Felghana is a remake of the SNES Wanderers from Ys, for example, and Memories of Celceta is a remake of Ys IV which never came to America). There are also different types of gameplay present. Oath is a single person party that relies heavily on reflexes and skill to play, whereas Memories of Celceta and Seven are full party-based games that kind of remind me of the Tales series without the transitions into battle.
Ys: Memories of Celceta is also the main reason I grabbed a Vita. I got it for that game and did not regret it. >.>
