Yukimura would arrive outside of the warehouse where the bandit hideout was said to be. There would be no one in sight. As the man seeked revenge, it seemed the element of surprise was on his side, and all was to his advantage.

Despite there being no one in sight, Yukimura wasn't going to chance it, and would slowly make his way into the storehouse, allowing him to remain completely silent. The element of surprise was all he had as an advantage, and he was not going to waste it. He would then proceed to locate the entrance to the hideout, taking great care to not make any loud noises to alert the bandits and bandit chief.

Inside the warehouse, there would surprisingly only be a single man. It seemed he was checking some of the crates in the storehouse for something. Behind him, there would be a trap door that was open, leading into some sort of tunnel. It seemed the man had come from there.

Slowly and quietly making his way around the crates piled around the storehouse, Yukimura would sneak his way over to the man, and once he was behind him, would try to stealthily grab the guy and choke him to death while simultaneously dragging him into the shadows. If all went well, Yukimura would steal the man's clothes, to blend in, before descending down into the tunnel.

Yukimura would succeed in choking the life from the man! As he stole his clothes, he would find that the man was oddly nicely dressed to be a bandit, and there was nothing but a measly self-defense dagger on him! Regardless, proceeding into the tunnel, he would find the path to be very long and dark. There were some sticks on the floor that he could possibly light as a torch, if he only had some way of creating a fire. HMMMM.

Spiffy clothes. Though a little confusing as to why a bandit was dressed so nicely. Nonetheless, Yukimura would don the clothing, and after making sure the man's body was well hidden, he would descend down into the tunnel, having taken the man's knife too. Tunnel was darker than Takehiro using his Musou, and feeling some sticks beneath his feet, he would pick them up.
If only he had a way to make a fire! Oh wait, he did. Creating a flame on the tip of his finger, he would quickly set fire to the sticks, before putting out the flame on his finger, and would make his way down the tunnel, making sure his face was hidden in shadows and rendered unrecognizable. Worse case scenario, he'd pull his helmet on, if it came down to it.

Yukimura's fire would illuminate the tunnel before him for quite a ways, but the tunnel exit wasn't visible in the slightest. If he proceeded onwards, he would find a horse drinking water from a bucket with a carriage behind it. It must've belonged to the man whose clothes he had stolen. There was no one else in sight for the time being.
If Yukimura checked the crates in the carriage, he would find various produce and general goods.

This was getting stranger and stranger. Seeing the carriage and the horse, Yukimura was starting to have doubts, that he may have taken the life of a man that wasn't a bandit. And the contents in the crates only furthered his doubt, produce and general goods. Then again, the man may have willingly allied with the bandits, and was providing them with supplies, though he would never know now. Leaving the horse and carriage as they were, he would continue down the tunnel cautiously, making sure to control and keep the flame of the torch as low as possible, to avoid being detected, his other hand hovering over the hilt of the dagger he took, ready to grab and use it.

As Yukimura continued down the path, he would find that it just kept going, and going, and going, and going, and going... and there wasn't much change at all. He'd find the occasional piece of mining equipment, and buckets, some filled with water, others with rocks. But there wasn't anything else, no sign of people, no noises, it was eeriely quiet minus the sounds of his own breathing and footsteps.
That horse was starting to look like a good idea, probably.

Who needed a horse, when he could be riding a demon chariot? Summoning his demon chariot, he would place his helmet on and take off down the tunnel, making sure to maintain the flame of his torch through his Musou and keep it lit but low, affording him some visibility, even as he raced down the tunnel. As an extra precaution, he would engulf his free hand in fire, ready to fire blasts of fire or a stream of fire in front of him.

The tunnel seemed to stretch on for an eternity. The demon chariot heavily increased the speed at which Yukimura would progress through it, but it'd still be some time before anything changed. After a while, he could see a light at the other end of the tunnel around a turn. It looked like a lot of light, yet it didn't look like the outside yet. Perhaps he wasn't alone in these tunnels.

Slowing down and stopping just before reaching the turn, despite the bright light, Yukimura wasn't going to take any chances. The element of surprise was all he had... and he would use it to his advantage. Though he had no idea what was around the turn, he would find out soon enough... by summoning a small pillar of fire just around the corner, to gauge what kind of reactions he would get from it, ready to react if bandits came running.

"Huh? What the hell was that? A fire?!"
The men in the tunnel would be shocked seeing a sudden combustion like that, and several of them would grab buckets filled with water, attempting to douse the flames. Some of them had weapons, just in case it was a sudden raid.

While the men around the corner were sufficiently distracted by the sudden pyre that sprung up, Yukimura would try to stick a small part of the blade of his spear around the corner, to use the highly polished surface as a mirror of sorts, and reflect back to him what the men looked like... and to see if he was dealing with actual bandits.
If he was, he would charge forward around the corner, the pillar of flame dying down as he would fire blasts of fire from his hand at the men, to try and melt their weapons, before slamming the blunt end of his spear at their heads, to knock them down and out.

The men were rugged and dirty, a lot more so than the man that Yukimura had killed earlier. They were caught off guard by the flying fire, and their weapons would end up melted in their hands, which they let go of due to the extreme heat! Yukimura's speed was far superior, and he'd knock most of them out! However, a few of the men took off running down the tunnel, screaming for help.

Pulling his whip swords free after placing his spear back onto his back, changing both into their whip forms, as he raced after them on his demon chariot, he'd pull both his arms back and snap the whips at the men, to try and wrap them around the ankles of two of them and sending them not only tripping, but toppling into the others, hopefully knocking them out.
If he was successful, he'd then race past them and continue down the tunnel, whips at the ready in case he encountered more bandits that were alerted by the screams for help.

The men would collide into each other, falling unconscious, and Yukimura would be able to continue on without incident. As he raced by them, he would find another long stretch of darkness to greet him as the tunnel continued onward for what looked like an eternity.

And this is why he was thankful he had a demon chariot, so he didn't have to run down this long, dark stretch of the tunnel either. As he raced down the tunnel though, he would place one whip sword away and pointing his free hand in front of him, would fire a blast of fire from his hand, to try and light up the area of the tunnel in front of him... and hopefully see what laid ahead.

Yukimura's blast of fire would travel down the tunnel far... eventually hitting a wall, burning a banner that had been hung from it, so that he could not see whose symbol was on it. A bandit had narrowly avoided the blast. "What in the..." he stated out of shock, before looking over at Yukimura and screaming.
"INTRUDER! INTRUDER!"
A large group of men would gather their weapons, hoping to impede Yukimura's path. Several archers were in the back, and they began to fire arrows at the advancing Takeda soldier.

Yukimura would summon a wall of fire, to try and burn the arrows, while simultaneously engulfing his entire body in fire, his hair spiking straight up from the sudden burst of power, and just as he reached the wall of fire, he would have it die down and race through just as it dissipated. He'd then swing his whip sword in its whip form at one of the bandits, to try and wrap it around the bandit's arm and send the him flying into his comrades, to knock them down. He'd then try to repeat this action as much as possible, aiming to knock out as many bandits as he could.

Yukimura's burning body would strike fear into the men whom he was fighting! He'd successfully be able to knock out plenty of them with his whip and fling tactic, and several of the men began to flee deeper into the tunnel, while reinforcements poured in, having heard the commotion! Several men with rifles took aim at Yukimura, firing and planning to hit him from a distance!

Yukimura would fire a blast of fire from his hand, which he could take control of and split into smaller blasts, aiming to melt the bullets before they could reach him, and any that he didn't melt with the small blasts of fire, would melt from the intense heat radiating from the fire engulfing his body. He'd then fire another blast of fire, splitting that one into smaller blasts as well, and would send them hurtling towards the riflemen, aiming to melt the ends of their rifles, preventing them from firing.
He'd then proceed to wrap his whip around one of the arms of the riflemen and send him flying into the others, to knock the riflemen out, and repeating this action as many times as necessary to take them down before racing past them, proceeding further down the tunnel and chasing after the bandits that had retreated.

The bullets that hit Yukimura's blast of fire would indeed melt, but not the ones that he assumed the heat from his body would melt! They would come through, hot as a furnace and begin to melt him painfully, leaving bloodied marks! Ouch! He succeeded in melting the enemy rifles at least! And he'd be able to fling most of them aside with his whip!
As he chased the men down, he would notice they broke off into two groups, going down separate pathways!

Wincing as the bullets fired at him were not melted by the heat radiating off him, leaving bloodied marks, he would quickly pull out a mochi from the inside of his haori and quickly eat it, hoping that the fire would cauterize his wounds, and whatever wasn't cauterized instantly, would be healed by the mochi. Racing past the downed riflemen, his brows would furrow seeing the bandits further down the tunnel split off into two groups.
Flipping a mental coin, it would land on heads, and he would head down the left pathway, flinging his whip at the men to try and trip one up and send him flying into the others, to knock them out and out of his path.
(OOC: Mochi consumed. Mochi: Heals most minor wounds obtained in the current thread. +3 Con for two posts. Only thing that stacks is the posts. Up to three in a stack.)
