Faction: Imagawa
Ethnicity: Japanese/Mixed European
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Height: 178cm
Weight: 80kg
Eye Color: Red
Hair Color: White
Appearance:
Personality: Weiss is a very hard man to understand. On the surface he appears to be a rather unremarkable person with only slightly above average mental, physical, and spiritual abilities. He has worked hard throughout his life to be this “average” person and will stop at nothing to ensure this view of him is maintained. The plainness of his abilities and appearance masks his more deviant nature as one of the most active serial murderers of his era, if not the only one. Humble and courteous is how he wants people to remember him, but this ruse is only meant to conceal a greater strength and intellect. Weiss considers it all a game and takes great delight in fooling people and manipulating them, so as such he has a very high opinion of himself. Weiss has an impeccable ability to mask his thoughts and intentions, making it impossible for ordinary people to pick up on his inherent bloodlust. Only people that have spilled a similar amount of blood, in a similar predatory mindset, can even hope to pickup on the faintest of traces of his inner demons.
History: Weiss didn’t begin his life as a sociopath. At one time he was a model citizen and lived day to day in a manner that was acceptable by society’s standards. He grew up on a farm where his parents and family got by on subsistence farming. Nobody ever died of hunger, but their stomachs were rarely ever full. It wasn’t a happy life. The first time Weiss killed somebody was when he’d been got stealing rice from a home in the nearby village. Often he’d go in there to steal small things to try and barter away for things that his family needed, but never had he been so bold before. Things didn’t go the way he’d planned and someone, the son of the family, had walked in on him as he’d begun hefting the back over his shoulder. A struggle ensued and it only ended when Weiss had grabbed a knife to fight the boy off. He hadn’t meant to kill him, but the boy had charged him and in the clash he’d fallen upon the blade when the two children hit the ground.
Weiss would never forget the feeling of that boy’s warm blood running down his hands and how that’s about all he felt that day. For whatever reason he didn’t feel remorse for what had happened in the normal sense. He was dismayed that the event had ended in a death, but he didn’t particularly care that the kid had actually died. You might even say that the only troubling part was how easy he was caught and how everything had gotten screwed up. Weiss cared more about the bag of rice being ruined than the death of another person. This lack of emotion for a human life is what Weiss would later theorize as the start of everything. It only got worse as time went on. Weiss began killing small animals and took pleasure in this for a while, but eventually it wasn’t enough. He began entertaining the idea of killing another person and he started coming up with ways to kill almost everybody he met. Of course he never went through with any of it, as that would have been foolish. He’d never kill anybody so close to home.
The best thing about living in his day and age was that nothing even close to forensics had been invented and it was child’s play to take a man’s life and make it look like a suicide. His favorite involved blaming the person’s family for the apparent suicide so that not only would he get his kicks from actually killing someone, but he’d then have the pleasure of seeing how it often ripped the family apart from the inside. Weiss started killing around age fifteen and by the time he’d turned twenty three, he’d already done away with a little over fifty people. On each corpse he left behind a small memento from the last victim he’d killed. It wouldn’t be anything obvious or something that would ever get figured out, it was just something he did. The other thing he did was carve a small line into his flesh, somewhere on his body. In the event someone asked him about the scars, he’d always claim that those marking represented past lovers he’d had, no matter how brief they were. Weiss isn't really sure why he decided to align himself with the Imagawa. Perhaps he was bored and thought the warfare might prove entertaining or maybe he was looking for some new people to kill. Whatever his motives are, only he knows.
Name Origins: Weiss got his name from his father who was a trader from Europe who came to the region during the early years of Sengoku Period. His father was of mixed ancestry who had family of both German and English origins. Weiss's mother was a villager his father had met shortly after coming to Japan and the two of them entered into a private relationship that quickly grew intimate. When Weiss was born it was discovered that the child was born with Achromia, otherwise known as Albinism. His father named the newly born child Weiss, which means "white" in German. His mother asked if her lover would take the child back to Europe to be raised in a safer world, but such was impossible. He was married and had a wife and child back home in England. Weiss would have to stay in Japan.
Effects of Achromia: Achromia carries with it many health complications and fortunately Weiss was spared the majority of them. He didn't get off easy though and his eyesight is already that of an old man. He can see well enough up close, but he has a hard time making out objects at long distances. To compensate for this, Weiss has trained his other senses to such a high level that most people aren't even aware that his eyesight isn't normal.
