Final Round: Amakusa Takehiro vs. Sanada Yukimura

The both of you are led to a spacious dojo somewhere in rural Japan during the day, the referee already there and awaiting your arrival. Visible through the gap between the sliding doors is a simple rock garden, the dojo surrounded by rock walls on all sides.

"Ready? Fight!"

Led into a spacious dojo, Yukimura would marvel at the area, but also lament the fact that he would have to fight in such an incredibly looking dojo. It would be made harder by the fact he would be fighting someone he considered a good friend and great ally. Looking up at the high ceilings above, he would also take the time waiting for his opponent to arrive to note the surrounding area, including the rock garden located just past the shoji doors.

When his opponent finally arrived, his eyes would widen in shock, before turning to a look of sadness. He had fought alongside Takehiro once, but this time, they would be fighting against each other. Easing into a simple stance once the referee spoke, regardless of who won or lost, this would be a clean fight.

"I wish you luck Takehiro-san... But I will fight to ensure I win this tournament."

Upon entering the arena and spotting Yukimura, a grin formed on Takehiro's face. He was fighting so many people he knew, here. And if Yukimura thought he'd go easy because the two were friends of sorts, he could go ahead and speak to Shou about his shattered kneecap.

"Ah, Yukimura. Well, show me what you got, buddy."

The mercenary would pop his neck before sliding his left foot forward and turning his right foot outward, bending his knees only slightly. He would bob on his heels, keeping his shoulders steady and his arms way from himself, elbows bent and palms facing Yukimura. He was not going to strike first.

Despite his sadness at having to fight one of his good friends to win the tournament, even Yukimura couldn't help but grin at seeing the big 'ol grin on Takehiro's face. It was hard not to smile around the guy. Once Takehiro took up a stance, Yukimura would take slow steps towards him, before starting off nice and simple by tossing his right fist at Takehiro's cheek, going for a right hook, while keeping his left arm in front of his sternum, just in case.

When Yukimura threw his punch, Takehiro leaned his upper body back just a little and let the punch pass in front of him. However, he did not counter, and his arms were kept in a striking distance. His feet also kept moving, and he just took a step back from Yukimura.

"Come on."

Unfazed by Takehiro evading his hook, he in truth, expected no less from the mercenary. The man was strong, as evident from their last encounter, but his attack had simply served as a way to gauge Takehiro's abilities. It wasn't much, but it was enough to give Yukimura a sense that Takehiro was slightly faster. Retracting his arm as Takehiro took a step back, Yukimura would grin before stepping forward, this time pulling his left arm back for a quick jab... only to quickly step to his right and slam a flat-palm strike with his left hand at Takehiro's ribs, his right hand held up as a guard before stepping backwards, away from Takehiro.

Despite Yukimura's "fake" jab, his body movements gave him away, and the speed difference between the two - though small - would be more than enough for the mercenary to react in time. He would rotate his body, grabbing Yukimura's wrist with his right hand simply by lowering the arm. His fingers would dig into the tendon, and he would twist Yukimura's arm to his right (Yukimura's left). Despite any strength difference that may have existed, there was little you could do when your tendon had this much pressure applied on it.

Instead of fighting against the twist, Yukimura would move with the twist, to try and reduce the amount of damage inflicted on his wrist, and though he would end up with his back facing Takehiro, he would go to slam his elbow repeatedly into Takehiro, doing all he could to relieve the pressure on his wrist and hopefully get him to let go, but it was hard with him tightly gripping his wrist and digging into the tendon.

If he managed to get Takehiro to let go, he'd quickly dart to his left while rotating his body simultaneously, resulting in him facing Takehiro, before quickly darting backwards, putting some space between them.

Yukimura's move would have very limited reach, as Takehiro would apply enough pressure that he threatened to rip out the tendon in the wrist and break his shoulder if he turned too much. So, the elbow would be swatted to the side by Takehiro's free hand. While Yukimura was busy using his arms, Takehiro kicked the back of his knee as hard as he could to make his leg buckle, and to be sure it worked, he would knee him in the back of the thigh if the stomp was unsuccessful. Once Yukimura was on one knee, Takehiro's left arm would wrap around his neck, putting him in a choke-hold while his tendon still had fingers digging into it. Pressure on either would not let up. In fact, Takehiro would pull toward himself with the choke-hold, looking to knock Yukimura out rather quickly.

In this scenario, Takehiro had the advantage simply due to positioning. Yukimura's longer legs would also make getting up harder, considering Takehiro was around half a foot shorter. And, he had several things to worry about: a dislocated shoulder, a severed tendon, or blacking out. All of these things, Takehiro would utilize if Yukimura persisted when the odds were not in his favor.

Takehiro's choke-hold would efficiently take Yukimura down, and the moment Yukimura was knocked out, the referee would end the fight, raising the red flag in his right hand.

"This match and tournament is over! The winner and tournament champion is Amakusa Takehiro!"
