The Fire Within [Maki|Musou]

[Oda Nobunaga]

Maki would wake up, and his body would be freezing. He would have all of his armor, though his skin would feel like ice at the touch, and were he to look around himself, he would find he was in a frozen wasteland!

[Kuroshi Maki]

Waking up, I would feel my body freezing of the cold, I never felt anything like this. Looking around I would see being in a frozen wasteland. Was this still Japan? Were was I, my armor didn't keep me warm and it would hurt to feel my own skin. My body would shake try to kept some kind of warmth.

"Wwwwwwhat isss thisss. "

Was I the only one here and what was the deal, I could not remember falling a sleep here. I would move forwards but there was no place to go so I just stick by walking forwards. Hoping the movement would warm me up abit.

Maki would find he was surrounded by snowy hills! Proceeding to the top of one, he would see a small village at the bottom of it, and it seemed they had started a large bonfire in the center to keep the people warm!

A strong gust of wind would slam into the man's back, and knock him down the large hill, sending him rolling!

[Kuroshi Maki]

Finally reaching one of the tops, I would see smoke raise up and it seems below was a village with fire. Before I could make my way down myself a fierce wind smashed against my back making me drop, Rolling down the hill not being able to stop. The pain was bad from the cold body smashing over and over again until I stopped at the bottom.

" Damn wind! "

Anger would raise up inside of my but to bad it didn't keep me warm, Getting up slowly and biting trough the pain I got back up. Walking to the fire in the center of the village hoping to get myself warm again.

Maki would find a large amount of people huddled around the fire, and as he approached, they turned to face him, fear in their eyes. One of the men, an incredibly large man, stood to his feet, drawing a spear.

"Get out of here, stranger! We want no trouble!"

[Kuroshi Maki]

Seeing the people look afraid at the sight of me, I was wearing the Demon armor. I could see why they were afraid but then they made a mistake. A large male stood up raising a spear towards me. I could look straight at the tip of it. I wasn't planning on fighting him because of the freezing temperature. But raising a weapon at me would just fuel the hate.

" No trouble? Yet you raise a spear at me? "

A grin would appear upon my face as I would with a fast strike from down to up, while side stepping, My Guando would break the man his spear and my Guando blade would rest upon the man his Throat.

" You should die, so big yet so weak! "

[Oda Nobunaga]

Maki would find that, because his body was so stiff, the man would react quickly, taking his Guan Dao as he broke the spear, and kicking him in the waist! The people all around the village stood to their feet, grabbing up balls of snow and pelting the man with them! Unlike him, they were warm!

"Get out of here, demon! Go! Leave us alone!"

[Kuroshi Maki]

O broke the spear but it seems the cold had more effect on me, I felt the Guando ripped from my grip, putting on more grip but it was no use my weapon was taken from me. Now the villagers had the guts to stand up and trow snow balls at me. They wanted me gone and called me a Demon that fact made me laugh. A weak demon because of the damn cold.

I felt a Kick in the waist and it knocked me back dropping to my knee because the snow being slippery. Snow balls kept hitting me and my armor yet I could only feel cold. Trying to get back up. Hate and anger grew large inside of me. My grin was turning into teeth clenched against each other out of anger.

" You just wait till I get done with you! "

My voice changed for a second in that of a demon, if this made them step back for a second, I would rush forwards trying to bring down the big guy, Jumping up knee to the face of the large man, if I didn't jump high enough it would be his chest.

In the middle of Maki's shout, a snowball would land in his mouth! The man didn't step back, but instead slammed his foot into Maki's chest as the man jumped, knocking him back once again!

As Maki hit the ground, everyone would hear terrifying shrieks! From the hills surrounding the village, spikes of ice would be thrown through the air, slicing through huts and people alike! The villagers screamed, running for cover!

My shout was interrupted as a snow ball hit me in the mouth before feeling a kick upon my chest knocking me down once more. How come that I was so weak? I didn't had time to think to muchts as I could hear shriek noises and the panic in the village was great.

Ice spikes would fly in the air hitting them and their houses. They seemed to lost their confidence they had before when they trow those balls at me.

" Give me my weapon if you wanna stand a chance against those things.. I beated them before. "

All I wanted was my weapon back.

[Oda Nobunaga]

The man was about to hand Maki's weapon back, before a large ice spike pierced his neck, taking him to the floor! The Guan Dao flew across the village, right under the feet of a creature made of ice! The creature roared, charging at Maki and leaping at him, aiming to claw his face off!

[Kuroshi Maki]

Before I could been given back my weapon, a ice spike would strike the man. My Guando was flying to the other side of the village. A claw was slammed on top of it. A monster white, spikes on back was there starring at me. Just not for long before charging at me.

" Fuck! "

A claw would strike me at the face, my body didn't move fast enough to just easily dodge the attack but I did manage to pull my head back enough for just the tip of the nail would strike my cheek. When his claw was still moving, I would strike a right palm under the chin of the beast, trying to strike his head up revealing his throat. A left straight would then dig into his throat.

The strikes would succeed, though Maki would find that simply touching the creature made his skin almost entirely freeze! His hands would become stiff and he could feel his skin cracking, just before the creature roared, whipping its tail into his chest and sending him flying into a hut!

As my palm and fist hit the monster I could feel a freezing cold on my hands, the skin would crack and my hands would turn stiff. How could I defeat a monster like this with no hands. I can't even touch it myself without getting hurt. I could not think for to long before I got hit with a tail of the beast, a cold would struck my chest before sending me flying into one of the huts. It seems the villagers were just leaving me on my own.

I would crash upon my back against a wall in the hut before hitting the ground. I could not catch myself properly because of my hands. I could feel a fire burn inside of me. It was painful but i could not get it out. My skin was cold yet my inside was warm, almost to warm. The hate was burning like a fire inside of me. I would grab my stomach because of the pain. I would scream loud and just for a split second a fire would surround me. Even for just a second it did free me from the cold.

Not entirely sure what he was feeling was real, it was logical for Maki to think he was hallucinating!

The ice beast charged at him, aiming to rip his neck out, before it was stopped by a villager! A young boy, holding a torch in his hands! The creature roared as he stepped toward it, and it seemed to be terrified of the fire!

"Get up, Mister!" The boy spoke, handing him a torch. "Warm yourself up and help out, here!"

[Kuroshi Maki]

What was going on, was the cold getting to me? Was I just imagining things now? I could not think for to long, the beast came at me again. But then a young boy would get in front of me holding a torch, the beast would stop being afraid of the fire. That was it we needed fire. Having a big fire in the center of the village, that would be a perfect death trap for the beast.

The boy spoke and gave me the torch, this little kid had courage I give him that. But he was also smart enough to ask me to help. Holding the torch I would step in front of the boy as he was now defenseless. I would wave the flame at the beast forcing him back to the center. I would just have to hurt myself abit but it will be worth it.

Charging at the beast I would smash my shoulder into him forcing him into the big fire in the center. My shoulder would freeze up fast but if it worked the beast would be defeated.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Maki would find he didn't need to hurt himself! The beast jumped back in fear, landing in the fire itself! With a terrified shriek, it would melt, but more would pour in from the sides of the village! The boy would grab another torch, now holding two, and would hold them out in front of himself.

"Come on, Mister. Everyone else is scared. I need your help."

[Kuroshi Maki]

The monster jumped into the fire itself, it was there weakness. If I only had more fire as I saw more of them closing in on the village. The boy was now holding two torches but would it be enough. He even asked me for help? He needed my help? Before they wanted me gone. A grin would find a way upon my face again. I could not help but let the hate take me over again after killing that beast.

" Need my help now, do ya? Before you all wanted me gone. Guess I just have to leave. "

I was grateful of the boy, yet I was not there guardian, and not even close to being a Hero or even want to be. I would try to make my way to my weapon and hold the beasts back with the fire. I would then lift the weapon up with my foot and grabbing it with my free arm.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Maki would feel an unbearable heat wash over him from out of nowhere, and due to the sudden temperature change, he would feel weak! "Then perhaps I should have just let you die." The voice sounded like the boy's, though it was in his head. And, as soon as he looked over in the kid's direction, the heat would go away.

Maki now had his weapon, but the beasts weren't exactly leaving.

[Kuroshi Maki]

Facing the boy with my back before I could pick up my weapon, my body was burning hot all of the sudden. My legs got weak making me drop on my knee. I could pick up the weapon but a voice spoke inside my head it was that of the boy. A scared look would find way upon my face as I looked at the boy. But then it went back to normal the heat was gone and I had my weapon. But what was going on? The boy could speak inside my head?

" What are you! "

I could see the beasts closing in on my and there were to many for me to attack and not be attacked. I would wave the flames but holding them back was hard.

[Oda Nobunaga]

"They're ice monsters, stupid!" The boy shouted, thinking Maki's statement was to them.

As the monsters approached, the boy tried to hold them off with his torches. They roared in fear, but slapped them right out of the boy's hand before kicking him into the fire! He got out one shriek, but then he seemed to stop moving. Maki was surrounded, now, and that familiar heat was overwhelming.

[Kuroshi Maki]

Ice monsters? The boy answer wasn't the one I asked for but I could not ask it again. I saw the boy being overwhelmed by the monsters having the torches getting smashed out if his hands before being kicked into the fire. I could hear the boy his scream and it fueled something inside of me. The boy stopped moving. I don't know why but seeing this happened something snapped inside of me.

" He was just a kid you monsters! "

I shouted those words before I charged in hate raised to the max. I would hold them back with the fire and trying to slice them to pieces with the Guando forcing them into the fire. I could not even protect that kid!

" If I only had more power! "

[Oda Nobunaga]

Maki would find, as he slashed with his Guan Dao, that the flames from the large bonfire in the center of the village would flow with his strikes, and the beasts shrunk back in fear!

[Kuroshi Maki]

As my Guando moved the fire would move with it. What was going on? Was my Guando controlling the flames? The beasts would jump back out of fear because of the fire. Standing in front of it I would look at the boy. He was around my age back then when she died and I could not save her. Yet this boy risk his life for all of the village. Something I was to weak for back then. His dead will not be to waste. He wanted to save this village and I will complete it for him.

I would spin the Guando hoping the flames will surround me and strike all those beasts and burn them and make them scream out of pain.

" His last wish shall be done! "

[Oda Nobunaga]

Maki would hold the beasts off for a time, but they would spit their ice spikes at him, knocking his weapon away and stamping out the fire! They would all charge at him, and as they did, he would feel the heat in his body grow to an unbearable point! Once his eyes were opened, it would seem his body was... different! He could bring the flames back, with his own will!
