Ryuusei then shouted to the people, "If you have not angered the gods, this should not have happened. You continue to despise the gods, there would be no trouble coming your way, not only this boar. We'll take the boar away from your village for it to stop destroying your homes, but when another pestilence comes your way, you must repent for what you have done against the gods, impenitent people."
He then would try to free the men from the boar's tusks, but if the men would attack him or the boar, he would be left no choice but to slay them.

Ryuusei watched as the Daimyo of Totomi challenged Lord Shingen into a duel. Ryuusei was about to react, drawing the odachi with his right hand, but as Lord Shingen glared at the other people who dared protest, he re-sheathed the odachi back. He was really against Lord Shingen deciding to go with the duel, but he also thought that if he said so, he had no confidence that his Daimyo would win. And so, with a scowl, Ryuusei just watched as the two made preparations for duel, but at the event that Lord Shingen would be killed by this opponent, he would charge in and kill that Daimyo. No one should dare kill Lord Shingen.

Seeing the daggers, Ryuusei would try to evade them, but whatever might happen after that, he would charge towards the horseman engaging him, swinging his odachi to behead the horse the horseman was riding. When he had done that, he would move quickly towards the dismounted person, and with a quick slash of the odachi, would end him. He then would move towards the horsemen who was engaging Kyojin, to kill their horses and send them to the ground, so that Kyojin would be able to save the pig.

"I'll take that answer as a blasphemy to the gods." Ryuusei said, now visibly infuriated. "You cannot evade the judgment of the gods themselves. If that boar would be unable to do it, then I'll give you the judgment that you deserve for your crimes against nature, for mocking the gods, and for deriding the person who should be your savior!"
Ryuusei would charge forward towards one of the men, aiming for the unguarded spot on his body, and then would swing the odachi towards that direction, cleaving him in twain. He then would turn towards the next man to do the same thing. If perchance they managed to block his attacks, they would still be knocked away by the impact of his strike and the heavier odachi.

Standing up from his being hit on his chest again, Ryuusei managed to stand up. Walking between Kyojin and the men who meant to kill the boar, he drew his odachi, and faced the men. He then said, "Sometimes I wonder what sort of demon would send a crybaby boar to kill the villagers. Now that I know what kind of people are you, I dare say that the boar was sent by the gods themselves to punish you for your crimes against nature. Now, spare your swords from killing that boar and let us stop the boar's rampage. But if you intend on not heeding my words and try gain to kill the pig..." He then held the sword towards the men. "I would not hesitate to give you the judgment from the gods themselves."
If the men would dare attack the pig in melee, Ryuusei would look for the unguarded spot on their body, and he would swing the odachi towards that spot, to cleave their bodies to halves. If they would attack the pig by a ranged attack, he would charge forward and, with a downward diagonal stroke from upper right to lower left, would cleave through each of them with one stroke, to cut them in halves.

The commotion outside had woken up Ryuusei from where he was sleeping within the main camp of the Takeda. It had seemed that there was something large going on, and he must be alert of whatever may go on in this scenario. Putting on his customary armor and equipping his odachi, he went out of the camp, only to see numerous soldiers marching towards the camp, and they are not Takeda soldiers. Upon close inspection, the soldiers were bearing the Mon of the Amakusa, which shared a border with the Takeda. Things, as it were, might get out of hand if not handled properly.
From the main camp, he approached the force, half frightened, half composed, and said, "What is it you wish that the Daimyo was needed to present himself to you? And why this amount of force?"

Ryuusei was shocked that the pig tried to turn on him, but was more shocked when his partner said not to kill it. He then checked out the boar. It had seemed that tears had streamed from the boar's face due to something, and so Ryuusei thought that the man might be right. This might be not a bad boar. But by all means, its rampage must be stopped.
Sheathing his odachi, Ryuusei braced himself to wrestle the pig. He then saw Kyojin about to ram the pig on its side to take it down, and so he charged at the same direction, retracting his arms to his back. When he would be near the pig, his arms would shoot forward, aiming to give the pig a push that would take it down on the ground.

"Gmmmm!"
A grunt escaped Ryuusei's mouth as a figure hit him in the chest, making him lose air as he managed to land after being shoved by... a boar. A large and demonic one, at that. With two pairs of tusks that charge through their enemy with a pair and gash through them with the other pair. But it seemed that the boar's rampage would stop at any moment; the tusks are chipped on one side and completely broken on the other. This would be a hard fight, but he knew they would succeed.
Gripping tightly his odachi, he would charge at the flank of the boar while Kyojin engages it, cleaving it while Kyojin kept the boar occupied. He would not stand a distressed soul doing it all alone.

I'm thinking of putting up a quest thread for Ryunosuke or Ryuusei addressing the issue of exploitation by the rich on the poor, just tell me if you are interested.

Ryuusei surveyed the surroundings around him, and the sight of the destroyed homes among the fog made him lonely. What kind of demon would do this to the villagers, he thought. He then looked at his partner for the answers to the questions he had on his mind. Though it was quite foggy, he could make out the appearance of the man. The man himself was a giant, and the disfiguring protrusion on his head and his legs like tree trunks might give away that he was not a human, but Ryuusei knew better. On his visits to different temples in Takeda lands, he had seen much worse disfigurements on people taking shelter in each temple, who were fed by the offerings to the temple where they reside. This man rising above difficulties and gaining position among the Takeda proves that the Daimyo himself was a caring person to his subjects, and Ryuusei was proud of serving such a leader.
When the man took notice of his hair, he glanced towards the person and gave a genuine smile. The mention of his hair being beautiful were one of the things that made Ryuusei happy, for his hair was the symbol of his dedication for both the gods and the forge. The other people who did not know of this would hurl insults at him, so it made him glad that this person, though not knowing of the origin of this hair, would say such things.
"Seeing my hair could also remind me of peaches, but the color would most likely remind me of the cherry blossoms blooming in the spring," Ryuusei said to the man, who identified himself as Kyojin. Why Kyojin, he thought, thinking that the term was used to bully people with such disfigurement. "But I agree with you there, peaches are really soft and sweet. Mind you, when we are finished here, I'll buy you some."
Kyojin, looking around him, also noticed the tattered houses, but unlike Ryuusei, he put the blame on the villagers being bad builders, Ryuusei, crossing his arms, replied, "Might be bad builders, since they don't know what they are building their homes with. But..." He then drew the odachi from his back; the cord twisting a bit due to the drawing of such a long sword. "I think we should be ready; something is definitely wrong here."

The news of a ferocious monster laying waste on Takeda lands reached the ears of Ryuusei. It was said that the demon the size of a house was ravaging the area with disease and fire, which is a very bad scenario for the inhabitants of the lands that the demon ravages. Rumors also point out that the Takeda had sent a man who can equal the might of the demon to help relieve the village from the threat, but Ryuusei thought that he also should help out to make things easier. Armed with an odachi that was from a temple that was lost forever, Ryuusei moved towards the land where the demon resides, to hep the man sent by the Takeda to relieve the scourge.

Being kicked aside after he had killed five of the soldiers, Ryuusei had expected this happening. As the remaining undead charged at him, he stood his ground, gripping his odachi firmly. He then took note of the weapons that the undead carried, and how they wielded them when they charged. He then would swing the ponderous blade clear from their weapons through their body so that they would not have a chance to parry something that would cleave them in twain. If they would have a chance however, the swing of the odachi was enough to carry them away to give him breathing space as he would return the other undead to the grave.

Being ready for any situation, Ryuusei was not surprised when the dark vortex appeared and sucked him into oblivion. Neither the smell of decaying flesh affected him as he had expected such due to the many corpses lying outside of the castle. This is a murderous site, and the undead doing esoteric incantations did not surprise Ryuusei much, nor he was afraid of such. He had devoted his whole life to the gods for giving him such a power, and he knew that this devotion would help him cleanse the castle.
Arriving in a very dark room, he gripped his odachi with both of his hands, readying himself for anything. When he saw that the corpses lying around the room started to stir on his landing, Ryuusei moved towards the nearest reanimated corpse, and would deal it a downward diagonal slash from upper right to lower left with his odachi, possibly cleaving it in half. He then would move again towards another corpse to deal it a hit that he hoped would cleave it in half like the previous corpse, but that time from lower left to middle right. He would do that process many times until he had finished all of the corpses in the room.

Numa Castle. In here lies the rumors that the spirits that were still in this world and undead creatures were walking on solid ground. The castle itself seemed to radiate a gloomy glow that seemed to scare anyone that looked at the castle. Except for a pink-haired warrior clad in a pink kimono and hakama, who had always been relying on the gods for his every action. Armed with a large sword sheathed on his back, Ryuusei surveyed the castle, and everything around him. The surroundings seemed austere against his intrusion into an unholy land, and the numerous corpses all around him seemed to warn him what will happen if he continued in this task. But even with that, Ryuusei was still undaunted. He sought to cleanse this castle, against all costs.
Without any fear of the undead, he walked inside the castle, and then went for the first door he saw: the middle door. He pushed the door with his left hand, while he held the sword, already drawn, with his right hand.

Name: Murai Ryuusei Faction: Takeda Ethnicity: Japanese Age: 22 Gender: Male Height: 5' 8" Weight: 117 lbs Eye Color: Reddish-brown Hair Color: Pink (explained in the appearance section) Appearance:Ryuusei had not much of a defining figure; his slender body, made slightly muscular by the work at the forge, had some scars coming from his trade. His face looks quite young for his age, and his pink hair, marked with his spirituality and his devotion (take note, rust) to the trade of the blacksmiths, shines brilliantly in the sunlight. Not caring for anyone who looks at him, he frequently wore a kimono with a color similar to his hair when he goes out to buy something in the market, and was also quite as devoted to that color as his devotion to the gods and the art of the forge. Personality:Ryuusei was an enthusiastic person, both in his smithing trade and as a proud member of the Takeda. He frequently speaks about the merits of being part of the Takeda to his costumers, and would quickly reprove a person if he speaks ill about the Takeda. In his victories in smithing his weapons, however, he thanks the gods for the magnificent works that he had done, and always attributed his works to the gods. Though he scours the lands for types of weapons that he could make, for him, his only home would be with the Takeda, and, though he wondered why his younger brother Ryunosuke deserted the Takeda, for the honor of his family, he had no choice but to kill his brother. History:Ryuusei was born of blacksmith parents in Shinano, and his parents were quick to notice the white hair on the child's head. Thinking that it was a sign from the gods, Ryuusei was revered by his parents, and though his parents took care of him, he was not thought of as a son, but as a being higher than man. He then was taught how to craft swords to be offered to shrines all around the country. Being a person blessed by the gods, having him craft an offering to the gods would bring them double the fortune, is what his parents believed. Or what they had believed. An explosion in the smithy killed his parents two years ago, and Ryuusei did not know why the blessed of the gods would experience such a thing. He meditated on the topic, when, he had heard from another blacksmith that his younger brother, Ryunosuke, the sole inheritor of his parents' smithing style, deserted the Takeda and killed five soldiers. Moved with rage on this crime against the Daimyo who had the gods' favor due to his caring nature, he picked up the odachi that he might have offered to a shrine that had collapsed, and joined the Takeda as an officer of justice. He would find his brother, hunt him down, and offer his head to the Takeda. This would be the only way he could align back his family's honor with the gods.
