The news of a ferocious monster laying waste on Takeda lands reached the ears of Ryuusei. It was said that the demon the size of a house was ravaging the area with disease and fire, which is a very bad scenario for the inhabitants of the lands that the demon ravages. Rumors also point out that the Takeda had sent a man who can equal the might of the demon to help relieve the village from the threat, but Ryuusei thought that he also should help out to make things easier. Armed with an odachi that was from a temple that was lost forever, Ryuusei moved towards the land where the demon resides, to hep the man sent by the Takeda to relieve the scourge.

Kyojin and Ryuusei would arrive at the village, and as its name suggested, it was surrounded in fog! Things were incredibly quiet, neither confirming nor denying the rumors. There seemed to be no people outside, and what homes the two could see were destroyed by the beast of legend.

"You am having such prettiful hair." Kyojin piped up. His partner was the only thing he could see in this dense fog, so he might as well comment on it. The only other things in sight were the houses. "It reminding Kyojin of peaches. Kyojin likes peaches. They soft and sweet." He silently nodded to himself in agreement. If anyone ever agreed with Kyojin, it was Kyojin.
"People here no good at building stuffs. That house have giant hole and that one only one wall. You can't be having home with just one wall. It stupid... And there clouds everywhere. That must be why they all bad builderses."

Ryuusei surveyed the surroundings around him, and the sight of the destroyed homes among the fog made him lonely. What kind of demon would do this to the villagers, he thought. He then looked at his partner for the answers to the questions he had on his mind. Though it was quite foggy, he could make out the appearance of the man. The man himself was a giant, and the disfiguring protrusion on his head and his legs like tree trunks might give away that he was not a human, but Ryuusei knew better. On his visits to different temples in Takeda lands, he had seen much worse disfigurements on people taking shelter in each temple, who were fed by the offerings to the temple where they reside. This man rising above difficulties and gaining position among the Takeda proves that the Daimyo himself was a caring person to his subjects, and Ryuusei was proud of serving such a leader.
When the man took notice of his hair, he glanced towards the person and gave a genuine smile. The mention of his hair being beautiful were one of the things that made Ryuusei happy, for his hair was the symbol of his dedication for both the gods and the forge. The other people who did not know of this would hurl insults at him, so it made him glad that this person, though not knowing of the origin of this hair, would say such things.
"Seeing my hair could also remind me of peaches, but the color would most likely remind me of the cherry blossoms blooming in the spring," Ryuusei said to the man, who identified himself as Kyojin. Why Kyojin, he thought, thinking that the term was used to bully people with such disfigurement. "But I agree with you there, peaches are really soft and sweet. Mind you, when we are finished here, I'll buy you some."
Kyojin, looking around him, also noticed the tattered houses, but unlike Ryuusei, he put the blame on the villagers being bad builders, Ryuusei, crossing his arms, replied, "Might be bad builders, since they don't know what they are building their homes with. But..." He then drew the odachi from his back; the cord twisting a bit due to the drawing of such a long sword. "I think we should be ready; something is definitely wrong here."

Kyojin and Ryuusei would hear a thunderous roar that sounded like it did not come from a human, and the sound of hooves crashing into the ground coming from all around them. The people in their homes could be heard screaming, but there was almost nothing the two Takeda men could see to tell them what was coming.
Suddenly, the sound of the hooves would stop. And, without a moment's notice, Ryuusei would be thrown into the air by a large beast, who would then charge at Kyojin!
The beast was an enormous boar, that seemed fitting to be called "Demon"! On all four legs, it was almost as tall as Kyojin himself, and it was strong enough to break through a castle in a single charge. It had four tusks, two on the left and two on the right, though the two on the right were broken, and the two on the left were chipped.

Kyojin had been caught off-guard by the sound of the boar. He only saw a blur, then his partner was thrown up into the air. This made him very, very angry. That little person was so nice and had such pretty hair! He even promised to buy Kyojin some peaches -- the things that man would do for peaches. "Noo!"
He could see the faint outline charging toward him. Now, any sane man would run. A wise man might have even formulated a plan to damage the beast while remaining untouched. Kyojin, however was not a normal man. He was a giant and he was angry. Someone he felt close to was hurt and this thing was directly responsible. This thing might hurt more little people if he did not stop it. He would not care if it was the bad little people, but he was hurting the nice ones too.
He spread out his legs and steadied himself. His hand went out and his knees bent. His stance was a horrible rendition of a traditional horse stance. "No hurt little peeples!" He shouted at the beast. Monsters were scary, but people were afraid of him, so he had to be scarier than this monster. He was going to take the beast head-on.

"Gmmmm!"
A grunt escaped Ryuusei's mouth as a figure hit him in the chest, making him lose air as he managed to land after being shoved by... a boar. A large and demonic one, at that. With two pairs of tusks that charge through their enemy with a pair and gash through them with the other pair. But it seemed that the boar's rampage would stop at any moment; the tusks are chipped on one side and completely broken on the other. This would be a hard fight, but he knew they would succeed.
Gripping tightly his odachi, he would charge at the flank of the boar while Kyojin engages it, cleaving it while Kyojin kept the boar occupied. He would not stand a distressed soul doing it all alone.

Kyojin was able to take the boar's head-on charge, its tusks crashing into his hands and its face into his stomach. His feet would be pushed through the dirt, though his firm stance and strength seemed to eventually work! From such a close distance, Kyojin could see tears in the boar's eyes!
Ryuusei's Odachi struck into the side of the boar, and it let out a roar, rearing back and sending Kyojin into the air a good few feet, before whipping around to the side and ramming its nose into Ryuusei's chest!

Kyojin coughed, as he sat up slowly. His hands and forehead were bleeding. He felt pain all over, but mainly in his chest. The boar was crying. Bad people did not cry. He had to stop this madness! "Little person, stop! Not hurt da piggy! He crying! Bad piggies no cry!"
He shot up to his feet and ran after the pig. He had to stop it from hurting people, so he could help it. "Piggy! Stops what you doings!" he was screaming at this point. It was like a child trying to stop their pet from running into the street. The volume of his voice hurt him, stretching his vocal chords past their comfort zone. Soon even his voice rasped and wheezed with each breath.
He ran at the pig from it side in an attempt to tackle it and push it onto its belly. If he could get it off its feet, it would be much easier to handle. It was the same thing with him, really. Once Kyojin was flat on his stomach, it would take divine intervention to get him on his feet.

Ryuusei was shocked that the pig tried to turn on him, but was more shocked when his partner said not to kill it. He then checked out the boar. It had seemed that tears had streamed from the boar's face due to something, and so Ryuusei thought that the man might be right. This might be not a bad boar. But by all means, its rampage must be stopped.
Sheathing his odachi, Ryuusei braced himself to wrestle the pig. He then saw Kyojin about to ram the pig on its side to take it down, and so he charged at the same direction, retracting his arms to his back. When he would be near the pig, his arms would shoot forward, aiming to give the pig a push that would take it down on the ground.

Kyojin, despite his strength, was incapable of knocking it over! Ryuusei also did very little to budge it, and it whipped around in anger to knock the two away, kicking Ryuusei in the chest rather hard! It seemed to not want to hurt Kyojin, however!
Before the two could do much, they could hear the sound of horses galloping nearby, and the boar let out a mighty roar, a dagger flying through the fog and striking it in its side.
"There it is! There's the monster!"
Men would begin to charge it, as if aiding Kyojin and Ryuusei, though they intended to kill it!

Monster, Kyojin knew that word all too well. He was not a monster and neither was the pig. He was big and Kyojin was big too. They were both kindred spirits. He had only just met and he felt a connection with the beast. Whether or not that feeling was mutual -- he had no idea. He just knew that these people were going to hurt his new friend and he had to stop them.
He grabbed his weapon and did his best to stand between the men and the giant boar. He held his kanabo at his side, as a smaller man would lean on a post. His feet were spread and his knees were bent, just as he had done to stop the boar's rampage earlier. Slowly, he dragged the weapon in front of him, digging up the very earth beneath him with its weight. Damp grass and mud clung to the tip of the weapon, drawn to the large cracks and splinters that littered the dying weapon.
Plucking it from the ground sent off a firm splatter of mud and debris toward the men, before both hands gripped the base. As his hands tightened at the base of the shaft, a groaning could be heard. The leather straps ground against each other, making the weapon creak and moan, almost as if it were pained. It was a perfect interpretation of the wielder and the boar he was trying to save.
If the men drew any closer, Kyojin would have to deem them as bad. Bad people would be squished.

Standing up from his being hit on his chest again, Ryuusei managed to stand up. Walking between Kyojin and the men who meant to kill the boar, he drew his odachi, and faced the men. He then said, "Sometimes I wonder what sort of demon would send a crybaby boar to kill the villagers. Now that I know what kind of people are you, I dare say that the boar was sent by the gods themselves to punish you for your crimes against nature. Now, spare your swords from killing that boar and let us stop the boar's rampage. But if you intend on not heeding my words and try gain to kill the pig..." He then held the sword towards the men. "I would not hesitate to give you the judgment from the gods themselves."
If the men would dare attack the pig in melee, Ryuusei would look for the unguarded spot on their body, and he would swing the odachi towards that spot, to cleave their bodies to halves. If they would attack the pig by a ranged attack, he would charge forward and, with a downward diagonal stroke from upper right to lower left, would cleave through each of them with one stroke, to cut them in halves.

Kyojin's mud attack would keep the men from continuing their charge, and the giant of a man kept them from pursuing the boar any further. It attempted to hide behind its large new friend, roaring in pain.
"Get out of our way, BEAST. The boar is our prey. A monster like that doesn't deserve to live!"

"Beast?" Kyojin thought for a moment. The word was familiar. Where had he heard it before, though? Every time he heard it, it was was coupled with a word that the giant associated with rage -- monster. These men were calling him a monster. These were bad men and they were making him angry!
His hands were gripping his weapon tighter than ever. The leather thong that formed the grip was crying. Instead of the long sorrowful moan it usually released, it begged to be set free. The splinters along the length were flaring even further from the center. It was as if the giant weapon was a bundle of sticks, rather than the solid piece of wood it had been crafted from.
"Kyojin crush tiny, bad men." he shouted, charging the band of warriors. His crying weapon was swinging by his side, with a particular vendetta against the one who called him beast. If anyone died, it would be him.

"I'll take that answer as a blasphemy to the gods." Ryuusei said, now visibly infuriated. "You cannot evade the judgment of the gods themselves. If that boar would be unable to do it, then I'll give you the judgment that you deserve for your crimes against nature, for mocking the gods, and for deriding the person who should be your savior!"
Ryuusei would charge forward towards one of the men, aiming for the unguarded spot on his body, and then would swing the odachi towards that direction, cleaving him in twain. He then would turn towards the next man to do the same thing. If perchance they managed to block his attacks, they would still be knocked away by the impact of his strike and the heavier odachi.

As Kyojin and Ryuusei attacked, so too did the mounted men! They charged, though the two were able to take out two horsemen with no problems, Kyojin's Kanabo crushing a man's entire ribcage in one swing. There were still five men left, two focused on Kyojin, two on the boar, and one on Ryuusei.
The two men focused on Kyojin struck at his legs, aiming to stab through his kneecaps. The two striking the boar aimed to impale its side, and the one striking Ryuusei threw two daggers at his waist.
"This boar is a monster! Look at it, it's disgusting!"

Kyojin took one of the pole-arms in hand and pulled straight up, sending the man into the air. That did nothing to the other man, though. The only saving grace was dumb luck on the giant's part. His footing had changed, which changed the trajectory of the spear. The spear went straight through his foot and into the ground. This caused a knee-jerk reaction and Kyojin swatted the other man away like a fly, sending him off of his horse.
He was in tears from the injury to his foot. The adrenaline coursing through his body as the only thing that kept him awake. A firm hand grabbed the spear and plucked it from the ground. He felt as if he was about to vomit. He could not allow this, though. Piggy was counting on him.
"No hurt da pig!" He shouted, as he turned around, swinging his weapon at one of the men. His hands let go of weapon, sending the mass of lumber flying through the air. If it did not take out the man on top, the weapon would take out the horse beneath him.

Seeing the daggers, Ryuusei would try to evade them, but whatever might happen after that, he would charge towards the horseman engaging him, swinging his odachi to behead the horse the horseman was riding. When he had done that, he would move quickly towards the dismounted person, and with a quick slash of the odachi, would end him. He then would move towards the horsemen who was engaging Kyojin, to kill their horses and send them to the ground, so that Kyojin would be able to save the pig.

Kyojin was able to swat away the men coming after him, and Ryuusei slew the man he was dealing with. Once Kyojin was hurt, the boar took notice, and roared angrily, charging at the last two horsemen, its tusks ripping through their horses so far that they pierced their legs. The boar started pushing the horses back through the gravel, as the men tried to pry their legs free from the boar's monstrous tusks!
"Why are you backing up the monster, and killing the people?!" The villagers would shout, throwing rocks at Kyojin, Ryuusei, and the boar.

"Pig no bad." Kyojin stepped up, causing a splash of blood to shoot out of his foot. The spray was a solid stream of blood, enough to bring down a normal sized person. Kyojin's massive bulk was the only thing keeping him standing. He wiped the sweat from his brow and looked at the villagers. The bag beneath his eyes had paled from the loss of blood.
"Pig belong to Kyojin now. He take care of it and keep it far away from..." He narrowed his one functioning eye at them. "He take pig away from bad people. You now see him again, if you letting me take him home." He looked back at the boar. "Kyojin feed him and take him for walkings and everything. Unlike bad peoples."

Ryuusei then shouted to the people, "If you have not angered the gods, this should not have happened. You continue to despise the gods, there would be no trouble coming your way, not only this boar. We'll take the boar away from your village for it to stop destroying your homes, but when another pestilence comes your way, you must repent for what you have done against the gods, impenitent people."
He then would try to free the men from the boar's tusks, but if the men would attack him or the boar, he would be left no choice but to slay them.

Ryuusei would find he did indeed have to slay the men, as they tried to fight, but the boar seemed to calm down! It approached Kyojin happily, nuzzling it's cheek into his side. He was a savior to this beastly creature, and because of him it was found that it had a softer side to it. You go, Kyojin.
