Sagi's brow furrowed. The man was being extremely vague, though it definitely didn't seem like he was lying. Shiroyasha sighed, leaning toward the table and looking Iemasa in the eyes rather sternly.
"I trust you will not be stationing any troops within our territory, if this is to be considered. Only moving them through, yes? Because I can assure you, no one will trust having your men within our territory, battle-ready at a moment's notice, under the ruse of "peace.""

I wholeheartedly agree with some sort of nerfing system being implemented. For being a starter, I feel like the jumps Sakkaku and I made a huge statistical jump, despite how well we did.
Maybe items that require certain stats to wield themselves? That could be reasonable, and would definitely lower my ridiculous stats considering my base stats are all so low.

"Heh," Sagi scoffed, kicking the downed Boss. He would take the gauntlets and mask from the defeated creature before going and taking the chest off the pedestal.
"Brother, the rumors proved true, and by them, we have bested the greatest Japan had to offer."
With a chuckle, Sagi would head back to the entrance.

Sagi would raise his earth staff and whip it downward, sending a large pillar of stone from the roof to separate and fall on top of the charging shadow! As the same time, he would swing it back upward so that a gravel spike would shoot up and impale him!
If successful, Sagi would swing the staff to the left to send the gravel spike through the boss's head! If not, he would summon a huge ice spike and send it through the shadow's head, and then go through with his initial tactic!

Sagi would take any and all loot he could from the fallen enemies, but did not yet go for the chest. This was because of the enemy they found who would be guarding the door.
"We just killed an army of you bastards, and you think one will be a problem?"
Sagi would summon stalagmites on every side of the enemy, and then a hail of ice from above him. Just for good measure, he would then form large ice spikes from every side, and slam them into the guy.

"F... fuck!"
Sagi cursed, moving into a suitable position. Since the enemies all came from one place, he would try to take them out before they could get into formation. He would swing his wind fan to redirect all elemental attacks, and then summon stalagmites under every single demon chariot, looking to take them out as quickly as he could. A rain of ice would fall upon the entirety of the group, before Sagi swung his wind and fire weapons to create a fiery whirlwind around them all.

Sagi cheered as they felled their foes. The rumors were that none lived went they entered this castle, and yet here they were! He and Sakkaku, to be included in the ranks of some of the strongest warriors in Japan!
"This is what we needed, Brother!"
He then doubled over after all that excitement, finally overcome with the pain he faced from dealing with all the monsters they faced so far. He felt powerful, but these wounds were incredible.

Sagi would take any equipment he could from the Mage, before sending a stalagmite up under the Knight, Creatures and Crawlers. He would also create a wall of fire underneath them, looking to burn them to cinders and protect his brother.
"Get away from him, you bastards!"

Sagi would curse as he was struck again, but at least he was able to defeat the bastards. Before he was overwhelmed, he would take whatever equipment he could from the fallen mages, using the weapons he had to create another fiery whirlwind around the group that charged him! Rather than stop there, however, he took the earth and ice staffs, summoning stalagmites under them, and creating a rain of ice spikes from above once the fiery whirlwind dissipated.

Sagi cursed as he felt new wounds, and his old wounds reopen. Before he could fall victim to the pillar, however, he would phase beneath one of the mages. His staff and fan would enter its chest plate from the bottom and then rip outward, creating an explosion he hoped would finish it off. He would then phase above and behind the other, striking its head and chest with his shield, before swinging both elemental weapons in a circle around himself, engulfing the mage in a fiery wind.

"Brother!"
Of course, Sagi had his own problems to deal with, but he was more worried about Sakkaku. As the ice was shot his way, he swung his fire staff to melt it before it could even reach him. He would then jump to his side and then run forward, swinging both staffs forward to melt the mages to the ground in another fiery whirlwind!
That was going to be his favorite move.

As the enemies approached, Sagi would wait for them to draw near. Leaping to Sakkaku's side, he would wait till they were rather close, then he would strike at the sides with both elemental weapons, creating a fiery whirlwind with him and his brother safe in the center. With this move, he intended to clear out the fodder once again, without Sakkaku getting hurt.

Sagi chuckled, feeling the undead here were nothing to him at the rate he was going. They fell like flies, even Sakkaku did not have to act. This meant the power they were gaining was incredible.
"Brother... this power."
A look of amazement would be passed to Sakkaku, and then Sagi would move to approach the Daimyo chest.

By now, Sagi was used to the darkness pulling him in, and would be ready when he saw what was in front of himself. The stench was disgusting, but he would be able to get over it. Taking his fire staff in one hand and his war fan in the other, Sagi would swing them both in front of himself, aiming to create a fiery whirlwind in front of himself and his brother, that would envelop and defeat all of the undead they faced in one move.

As the maze shut behind the two, Sagi felt incredibly more powerful! Like he could take on anything! He would set the chest down with the other one, and his enthusiasm was incredibly apparent.
"Brother!" He exclaimed, clearly satisfied with their progress. "There is one single chamber left. Shall we continue?"

Finally feeling better, Sagi would grin, taking all he could before heading to the Daimyo chest. Unless Sakkaku wanted to, he would take it, then go down the paths he remembered leading to entrance. They'd get home scott-free!

Sagi was unbelievably glad there were no enemies, and would lead Sakkaku back to the other paths, taking the one that was closest once again. Even though he was so weary, he kept his weapons at the ready.
Two more chests, meant one for each of them.

Taking the item in his hands, Sagi would proceed down the path, turning to his brother for support. It seemed they were both in terrible condition.
"I'm... fine, Brother... We'll get through this."
He tried to make himself sound stronger, but it was incredibly difficult. When it came to the three paths, he would take the closest one, staves still at the ready, though he would allow Sakkaku to take the next chest.

Once he crashed into the wall, Sagi immediately fell to his knees and threw up all over the floor. Whatever this pain was, it was powerful, but he couldn't let it get to him too much. If he fell here, he'd be failing his brother, and he'd never let that happen. Never!
"Fuck... this... place..." he managed, struggling to his feet. As they got to the fork, Sagi would lead the way, staying very close to his brother. Both elemental weapons he wielded were in either hand, and if anything came at him, he'd blow it away and catch it on fucking fire.

As the opponent reared back in pain, Sagi immediately went about shattering the rest of its armor with his awesome shield! He'd go for the arms first so he could take that staff, and if he was successful he'd use it to melt the bastard's legs off.
If that all worked, he'd take whatever armor was salvageable, loot the chest, and go back to the fork and take the right route instead.

As Sagi saw the bolt of fire, he reared back in surprise, swinging his fan upward to redirect it toward the ceiling. From there, he would charge it, ramming his shield into its chest piece, then its head!

Continuing to feel the surge of strength, Sagi was enjoying this. He would, of course, allow Sakkaku to take the next chest, and from there would lead him to the next area.
"If memory serves, this next deviation is slightly smaller than the first. I believe we should take it. But stick together."
If Sakkaku agreed, he would proceed down it, taking the left. If not, he would continue along the main path.

Sagi would take the first chest, keeping with the order they'd had this whole time. And as they followed down the path, he would lead Sakkaku into the fork, taking the left turn and allowing Sakkaku to take the right. This deviation was of less consequence, of course, seeing as he knew they were to be dead ends.
If there were no troubles, he would take the treasure and be back on the main path.

Sagi himself would have preferred to stick to the main path. However, if Sakkaku sought more riches, then they could deviate from it, so he would ask his brother.
"Brother, do you wish to head down the correct path, or the other?"
Whichever Sakkaku picked, Sagi would lead the way.

Sighing, Sagi would place his hands on the ground to discover the location of the traps. Once he had, he would stand back to his feet, light-headed, and then proceed along the safe-ones, retrieve the treasure, and, once Sakkaku did the same, go back to the entrance, and take the path they neglected to take at the beginning.
