Sakkaku fell backwards as he was backhanded in the face, glad that his mask took some of the blow and grunting in pain as he looked up at the beast that struck at him. His eyes widened a bit, but he could examine this creature later on if they had spare time.
He would quickly swing his chain like a whip at the creature, his whip coming down vertically. He would pull the trigger on his chain, causing an explosion upon impact. If the creature grabbed at his chain, he would detonate the monster's arm, or if it was avoided, Sakkaku would swing that whip back around in an attempt to blow the creature to hell.

"Indeed. We may come out of this rich men... or at least, powerful ones."
Sakkaku would follow along near his brother, slightly behind him as he didn't have a shield of his own. He would pull his chain out, having it rolled up like a whip, ready to be swung if they ran into anything. His eyes would pick them out before they were attacked, he hoped.

Again, they'd find themselves pulled into the wing by a mysterious force, so Sakkaku was not surprised. Though it was something he felt he could never get used to. Landing on his feet, he would watch as his brother tried to discern the contents of this maze, while he scanned the paths with his mask, trying to see what lay beyond. At present, he could scan no lifeforms...
"This could take some time..."

Being flung into the main chamber again, Sakkaku grimaced, but held the chest up with a sort of pride showing in his face. They got it with relatively no danger. Examining himself, he found that he was cut up a bit, but nothing too serious... he hoped that those close encounters wouldn't come around too often, but all it took was a single arrow to take him out of commission, even with his brother's guidance. Luckily, he didn't seem to be poisoned.
"... I'm fine. Do not worry, brother."
He would tuck the chest away behind a pillar for safety before following his brother to the right wing, curious about what lay behind the door.

Sakkaku gave a small smile, waving his hands. "Ahh, no. As my brother said, we are not drinkers."
He looked over to his brother, returning that same look, but only briefly. He looked back to Iemasa, crossing his hands on the table. His red hues examined the Oda officer curiously, wondering what kind of man he was. He seemed pleasant enough...
"We wish to be sure that the conditions are favorable on both ends, of course."

Sakkaku stood to his feet, dusting himself off. He looked over across the room, seeing the Daimyo's treasure chest. Perhaps he chose right in picking this path, or perhaps... the Daimyo had more treasure than just this one chest?
Nodding at Sagi's words, he would run across the chamber. He would be sure to avoid any and all traps under Sagi's command, knowing that his brother would be able to see everything. If he was about to hit any, he would side step or jump over them. If he tripped and fell for any reason, he would be sure to fall in a safe zone.
His goal was to grab the Daimyo's chest and make it back without a hitch.

Numa Castle. So the place wasn't a complete load of bull. Sakkaku heard the screams that came from the castle, wondering just what lay inside. But with his brother there, he was certain that there was nothing that the two of them couldn't handle. They survived all of this world's hells together, and they could survive the hells of another world as well.
Placing his mask on his face, Sakkaku began to scan the various doors, amused that he had gotten nothing in return. He looked at Sagi just in case to make sure his mask wasn't busted, but he could see his brother's vitals just fine.
"Curious... I'm not picking anything up. I say... we go left."
He would walk over and push the left door open, if his brother had no objections.

Sakkaku walked alongside his brother as they entered the bar. He wasn't one to drink normally, but today they were here on official business. They were to help secure relations between the Azai and the Oda, and it seemed that Azai Nagamasa trusted the Shinrai brothers enough to give them the task of being his emissaries.
The man sat silently next to his twin brother, bringing his hood down and revealing his black hair and red eyes. No words needed to be said, not at this time.

Quite handsome, and is known to have a friendly look about him. Sakkaku's eyes are actually colorless, lacking pigmentation in his irises, and appear red because you can see the blood flowing through them. He has plenty of scars on his body, but these are rarely seen and only Sagi really knows about them. Personality: Outwardly, Sakkaku is a very friendly man and is rarely seen without a smile. He seems to be someone you can trust easily, and someone that you can let your guard down around. He goes out of his way to help the less fortunate, commonly giving up his own money or meals so that others may eat. He is seen as a beacon of hope to many... ... but in reality, it's merely an illusion, for the most part. Sakkaku is conniving, deceitful, and hateful. He utterly despises any nobility or aristocracy, wishing nothing but for their demise. The only people he cares for are his brother Sagi, and the poor, to whom he can relate to from his own childhood. Everyone else, in his eyes, is merely a means to an end, to achieve their revenge on the entire country and spur the factions into war. To this end, Sakkaku is very manipulative, and prefers to stick to the shadows as he schemes. History: Sakkaku was a strange boy who grew up in a poor farming family, of which he had his two parents (of course), his twin brother Sagi, and his two younger sisters. They were dealt a bad hand, and Sakkaku was constantly ridiculed for being poor, and because he was the brother of "a freak". Despite these difficulties and being so poor, they were incredibly happy, especially because of the random gifts they'd receive from an ex-Hojo mercenary by the name of Amakusa Takehiro. These gifts helped them get through the toughest times, so even with the unstable economy and the war-state the country was in, they managed to make things work. The Shinrai family was a happy one, regardless of their shortcomings. Things couldn't always work out, however. When Sakkaku and Sagi were 13 years old, they and their sisters experienced one of the most traumatic events of their lives. Apparently their father owed a debt to a local Daimyo, and he was unable to pay it. Because of this, the Daimyo sent a small amount of men to destroy the Shinrai home, and kill the entire family. The parents were murdered brutally before the eyes of the children, and the children were then brutally beaten to a point where they were believed to be dead. Within an inch of their lives, Sakkaku and Sagi managed to recover from their beatings and save the lives of their sisters, but their parents were already dead. The memory of identity of the men who ruined their family was foggy, but the act of the Daimyo placed a firm, powerful hatred of the higher class of the entire country in the minds of the two. In an attempt to get their lives on track, Sakkaku and Sagi migrated to another fief with their sisters. They wound up in another small farming village, but the place was a good one. For the next four years, they managed to be happy again, despite the trauma they faced a short time ago. Their sisters took much more time to recover, but it was a working process. But things always had to go wrong for the Shinrai family. One day, when Sakkaku and Sagi were out at the market, an official from a local Daimyo was in town. He spotted the Shinrai sisters in their home alone, and raped and murdered the young girls. The twins got back home just in time to see the man fleeing the scene, but once again, they could not make out the Mon he bore. Sakkaku, like his brother, was overcome with grief and rage at the loss of his entire family at the hands of the men who were supposed to protect their subjects. From then on, there was no chance of mental recovery. The Shinrai twins, now with a hatred for the entire higher class of Nippon, found themselves allied with the Azai. The reason behind this was simple: of all Daimyo, the Azai were the least likely to have caused them harm, and Lord Nagamasa was a powerful man who would likely not fall easily in the times of chaos. Sagi and Sakkaku would use the resources of the Azai to grow in strength, and when the time came, exact their revenge on the entire country.
