Grimacing from the pain, Sakkaku would see a lot more enemies attacking his brother and himself. Equipping whatever he could from the fallen knights, he made sure he was prepared and devoured one of the small mochi that he had on him to heal up whatever wounds he had sustained.
With his recovered body and his newfound strength from what he equipped, he lashed his explosive chain out in front of him in a cross formation repeatedly, creating an explosive death trap for anything that entered, while he backed away slowly. If any enemies came at him from the side, he would swing his chain around him in a full circle to blow all of his enemies away before repeating his tactic. He felt that maintaining a safe distance while killing what he could was the smartest choice to make. If anyhting got under his chain's range, his blades would find their throats.

Crying out in pain, Sakkaku would attempt to get these knights off of him. Swinging his chain upwards, he attempted to wrap it around the both of them and blow them both to hell. He planned to distract them long enough to gain some distance, before swinging his chain in an explosive fury in order to decimate whatever was left.

Sakkaku grimaced as he was separated from his brother. Recovering quickly, he would see the two knights charging at him. Swinging his chain with all of his might, he would strike at them in a horizontal arc, first across the chest, and then back around at the legs, and continue to swing until the knights were destroyed. He planned to eradicate them instantly. If any of them got close, he would extend the blades from his new gauntlets and pierce at whatever armor was still remaining, planning on removing it.

Sakkaku looked at the fodder that approached them. They were of a different nature, but after seeing the beasts in the maze, he wasn't too fazed. Once more, if Sagi's assault failed, Sakkaku's chain would fly out and slay any stragglers in an explosive death, making sure to cover all of their sides.

Sakkaku grinned, following along his brother towards the chest. There didn't seem to be anything that they couldn't handle. So far, they haven't even had to use any of the special healing foods that a merchant had sold to them.

Sakkaku was not surprised by the darkness pulling them in, though the dead rising was surely quite the shock. Regardless, he was ready, and if Sagi's flaming tornado did not finish the enemies off, he would swing his chain in a horizontal arc planning on exploding whatever still remained.

Sakkaku made sure everything he found was equipped, feeling the power that surged through him to be very amazing. His injuries from before felt insignificant, and he was ready for whatever the last path had to offer.
"Of course, brother. If we've gotten this powerful, imagine what the last chamber has in store for us."
Sakkaku would walk towards the middle chamber, pushing the door open if Sagi had no objections.

Sakkaku was relieved as the effects of the poison wore off, feeling a lot better now. Taking a deep breath and trying to relax, he would follow along Sagi. His chain would be ready to lash at anything that could pose a threat, but he hoped they would make it to the entrance with no issues.

Sakkaku trudged along wearily, gritting his teeth from the pain. He was leaning along the wall for the most part. Each trinket made him feel stronger, but this damned pain was nothing to scoff at. He kept his weapon at the ready as he closed the distance between Sagi and himself again.

Gritting his teeth, Sakkaku would hurry along the best he can, making sure not to let his brother out of his sight. If any beasts showed up, he'd have to back his brother up the best that he could. He'd follow Sagi along the closest path, and if nothing went wrong, he would loot this next chest.

Hitting the wall and falling to the floor, Sakkaku did not throw up as Sagi did, as he was a bit physically tougher, but felt incredibly nauseous and wished that he did throw up. Using the wall to support himself, he would follow behind Sagi closely, chain held tightly. The dark was eating away at his insides, and he hoped nothing would come out and strike at them, for his vision was blurry and he felt his reflexes would be rather stunted.
"B-brother... are you... okay...?"

Sakkaku would reach down, equipping his newfound weapon as well as taking the Knight's greaves for himself, equipping them. He would also loot whatever was in the chest.
If Sagi's opponent was still not finished off, Sakkaku would strike at it when presented with an opening, planning on destroying it with explosions.

Sakkaku was surprised to see an armored opponent, but would waste no time whatsoever. He would quickly swing his whip along horizontally at the Knight's chest level, planning on exploding it. He would then quickly bring the chain back around in another horizontal arc, this time aimed for the Knight's legs, planning on destroying those too. He would then bring that chain from above, slamming it down on the Knight's head and exploding, before whipping away madly at whatever was left. He wanted to ensure this thing died right away.

Sakkaku would loot the chest, feeling himself becoming even stronger. He felt as if he could take on all of Japan at this rate, but that day would wait. For now, he followed along with Sagi, nodding at what he stated. The more they traveled together, the better their chances were of survival and growing even stronger.

Sakkaku headed along the right path, chain at the ready. If there were no problems, he'd take the treasure and head back to rendezvous with his brother. If there was... he'd explode the hell out of something.

Sakkaku would speak to Sagi. For now, they held a lot more power than they originally walked in with. More never heard, and that said, he knew they would grow stronger along either path. He followed along Sagi, chain at the ready.

Sakkaku would look to the ground as he walked along his path, keeping an eye on any traps that could potentially be in front of him and avoid them accordingly. He would grab whatever was in the chest, and then proceed to follow Sagi back to the entrance in order to go along the other path.

Sakkaku cried out in pain as the tendril pierced his shoulder. He ripped the tendril out before tearing his own sleeve and applying a tourniquet. It hurt like hell, but he found his arm still mostly usable, if not aching every time he moved it. It would not become a hindrance, he hoped.
He looted the chest, spitting on the dead stalker as he followed after Sagi.

Sakkaku would show concern for his brother, but he seemed alright enough to curse and be angry at the creature that injured him. Regardless, his wound would need tending to once they got out of here.
Finding another chest with a stalker beside it, Sakkaku readied his chain. As Sagi sent the beast towards the ceiling, Sakkaku would swing his chain upwards towards the beast, planning on exploding it down the middle. He would then bring that chain right back down on the beast it as it struck the floor, exploding it once more. And he would repeat until dead.

Too easy. Sakkaku looted something from this stalker as well, also grabbing whatever was in the chest. He then proceeded back to where he was pulled away from Sagi. If Sagi was still dealing with his Stalker, Sakkaku would lash at the beast with his chain and explode it too. If not, he'd wait and then follow Sagi.

Sakkaku was shocked as he was caught by surprise and pulled away from his brother. Seeing the enemy who had grabbed him, he would quickly whip up at its face with his chain, planning on wrapping it around the beast's neck and exploding it. If this failed, he was content with whipping whatever he could reach to get some distance from the monster and himself. If he could do that, then he would whip away at it relentlessly until it died.

Sakkaku would loot the dead creature as Sagi went towards the chest. It was fair game, and the Kuroyasha felt himself growing stronger with every piece of equipment he placed on himself. This was very good. Perhaps their goals weren't too far off from becoming a reality...
He followed after Sagi, keeping his guard up.

Sakkaku would prepare himself, ready to strike at the creature should his brother's assault fail for any reason. For good measure, he would swing his whip vertically at the stalker, exploding it on impact. If it didn't die, and Sagi failed, he would continue to whip at it and destroy it. If Sagi was thrown into his range for any reason, he would quickly retract his chain.

Sakkaku would recover as quick as he could from the enemy strike. As Sagi sent the enemies flying back, Sakkaku would act before they even fell backwards. Swinging his chain above him, he would bring it down on both rogues as they landed in a heap. If this did not kill them, he would keep swinging at them, exploding the chain every single time until they died.
