She took a few steps further back. This strange man was a bit too cheery for her liking. "Reina, Saitō Reina. I am from a family of ruthless killers. So I wouldn't fuck with me unless you plan to fuck me."
And with that, Reina turned and walked away. She was tired of trying to keep up with the crazy emotions of this man. If he followed her, she would continue walking until she could lead him to a quiet place where she could get rid of him. If he kept causing a commotion, she had other plans.
"You would do wise to leave me be."

"You seriously think you understand?" Reina had no grudge against men. She had no grudge against people or things that have happened in her past. She didn't really care for all that drama that others constantly got themselves caught up in.
"I kill," she spoke softly, "because it's fun." She didn't really have much to say to the pervert-man. She didn't need (or want) to defend herself with words but just wanted to make sure he wouldn't bother her anymore. Truthfully, if they were in a more secluded place, he would dead. She was a bit irritated that this man had taken the liberty of watching her and now she hoped she didn't have a problem.
"Unfortunately for you, you have become less than fun. If you continue to be so, you may find yourself as my next kill. Understand?"
Reina took a few steps back, smiling widely. People would still think that there were friendly relations between these two people, even though Reina had just threatened to kill him.

"It's smart to watch your back, especially when it comes to murder."
She pulled the dagger away but still kept it at the ready. She wasn't ready to die today. Until she go tto know this person better, Reina wouldn't stash her weapon.
"How did you know what I was planning?" Her words slithered off of her tongue like a snake, a hint of spite and surprise clear in her tone. "How long have you been watching me?"
The woman stared at the person in front of her. "Don't play me for a fool either, woman with a man-snake. I've seen your kind before, pervert."

She had come close enough to the man to begin her routine in seducing the man, and then murdering him in private. She just couldn't shake that feeling though that someone was watching her. It was enough that she decided to back off, at least for the moment.
Reina took notice of exactly what the kimono looked like so she would be able to find the man again. He continued yelling at the poor merchant but she had become almost completely disinterested. She knew it, someone was watching her, she didn't know from where though.
As she crept around the market, she didn't see anyone until she was about to quit searching. That was when Reina noticed him. A blonde man who was hidden in the shadows. Without hesitating, Reina strode up to the blonde man who was watching her and continued until her body was almost touching his.
They were in the shadows so she wasn't afraid to get a little dirty. And by a little dirty, I mean bloody. Reina had her hidden blade pulled at the throat of the man, though to anyone else it would look like he was enjoying the time of a prostitute. "Why are you watching me? Be careful of your answer, foreign one." She smiled a maniac and gruesome smile.

Reina had clearly pissed someone off this time. Not that she gave a shit, except maybe that she might die. Didn’t really matter because there was nothing she could do about it right now. She had tried to kill a man who planned on sleeping with her and well, now she was tied up, blind folded and being taken on to a boat.
Yep, she definitely had pissed someone off. Not knowing where she was going, the boat rocked back and forth. She hadn’t really been on a boat before, so the motion made her slightly sick.
It wasn’t too long, though, before she had her blindfold taken off. She was standing on the edge of the boat she had been taken on. In front of her was some kind of wooden board nailed onto the side of the ship, hanging off. Confused, she looked left and right. The two men she was with grinned at her and prodded her back with their swords. They wanted her to jump?
Reina didn’t want to be stabbed, so she stepped up onto the board. At this point, one of the men slit her wrists free and pushed her. She wasn’t able to catch her balance in time and fell off of the board!
It wasn’t a long fall, maybe 8 feet. She figured this would have been a more frightening experience if the boat was taller and if the water was deeper. She stood up. The water only went to her knees.
“Really?” she called out “Really? You better hope I never see your faces again.” The boat drifted off and began sailing away from her position. Once it was too far to chase, she turned around. What was in front of her made her jaw drop, an island?
Day 1 – Reina attempted to make a shelter. She wasn’t sure what the night climate would be like, but being a mercenary she knew that a shelter was more important even than food. Suffice to say, Reina wound up sleeping at the base of a tree, stomach rumbling all night long. Plus, it was raining. Great.
Day 2 – Reina spent most of the day attempting to catch rabbits with a spear she had sharpened with a rock. The men had taken her weapons, so she was sh*t out of luck when it came to having what she needed. Luckily, she had left her katana at home when she had gone to kill the man, so all that was taken was a small, hidden blade. After she caught a rabbit though, the wood on the island was so wet that she wasn’t able to start a fire. Reina went hungry again.
Day 3 – More rabbits! The wood had finally dried out enough to begin starting a fire. She had caught a few more rabbits, training herself to use her makeshift weapon. All day long, Reina ate. She just caught more rabbits until she was too full to eat them. Once she got to this point though, things got nasty. With a small sharp rock, Reina began gutting the rabbits. She poked through their bloody entrails, learning what was inside of them. Wow, was it fascinating! There was so much more to a rabbit than the meat of the hind legs.
Day 4 – Reina began searching for larger prey, she wasn’t hungry since she had stuffed herself to puking point yesterday. Instead, she was looking for something bigger to pick apart. All she found were birds (bigger ones, more like wild turkeys or pheasants) and settled for that. Upon investigation, she found that birds were very different from the rabbit she had looked at yesterday!
Day 5 – Reina tried draining the blood of her catch today. She figured that it might be easier if she was able to get the blood out of the creatures body before she began looking at it. So, she caught another bird and slit it’s neck. She held the body upside down like she had learned to as a child when slaughtering animals for dinner. Until she had sufficiently drained the blood, Reina resisted ripping the animal open. She was losing control.
Day 6 – Having forgotten to eat for the last few days, she instead cooked her catch today. Blood was splattered all over her white kimono, it looked like a Jackson Pollok painting (who the f*** is that?). Reina’s hair had become tangled and ragged, her skin and clothing splattered with blood and parts of the guts of various animals. Yummy.
Day 7-10 – Reina continued along this path, becoming more and more wild. She became entranced with the internals of animals and with nothing left to do except eat, sleep and view the insides of the creatures, she spent most of her time doing the latter.
Day 11-15 – Reina had now forgotten to eat for a few days, the loud rumbling of her stomach finally making her realize how long she had gone. Instead of neglecting her new hobby, though, Reina simply had a fire going near her as she dissected and cooked the entrails as she pulled them out. Boar intestine, yum! She continued this pattern, now remembering to eat each day.
Day 16-20 – Reina’s fingers were so caked with blood that the dried blood would crack and fall off in chunks. Insanity seemed as if it had taken hold. One of these days, Reina realized how difficult it was to do her work with these…chunks on her fingers. She walked to the ocean and actually bathed, something she hadn’t done for weeks now. Lord, being clean felt good.
Day 21-25 – Reina now spent less time dissecting the animals, having picked apart everything from snakes to fish to birds to boars. In the process, she learned how to cut the animals perfectly in order to provide the most meat. She learned to filet a fish, skin a snake, pluck and roast a bird and even how to get fresh water from the stomach of the boar, yuck!
Day 26-29 – Reina was a master at her craft. A small pile of decaying animals rested in the trees away from her camp. She figured that if she couldn’t eat the meat, one of the creatures would. She was delighted that her work would come full circle. She killed so that she, and other prey could survive.
Day 30 – A small boat sailed to the island. It was a boat of hunters. When they came upon Reina, sitting near a fire dissecting a squirrel, she didn’t even know how to react. Honestly, neither did they. The woman’s kimono was stained fully red from the month that she had been there. Her fingernails were so encrusted with blood that it appeared they were pained. Her teeth, too were slightly stained with the blood of her prey. Luckily, she didn’t attack them. Realizing that they would be able to save her, she provided the men with whatever they wanted as payment and the gang set sail back for land.

The man's words didn't really phase her. Reina knew that it mattered, but what the man didn't understand was that Reina aspired to be the driving force behind the death in this country. She knew she couldn't kill everyone but wouldn't hesitate to make this world, well, hers.
The war, the people, the death, they all mattered. That's exactly right. Without death, Reina wouldn't ever be able to enjoy herself. Without the war, people would be terrified of death and may actually pursue the killers of all of these people. War was the perfect cover to kill under.
Oh, and watching the world burn was something she couldn't wait to do. She craved power but only because it was a means to the end of many lives.
Reina watched the muscular men as he leaned against the doorway. His muscles intrigued her, but not enough. He seemed to be some kind of powerful goodygoody and she had no interest in being a part of his...fun.
Reina had her own path to follow, and she would leave a wave of death in her wake.
"Not everyone will die at once, but rest assured, some will. Even if it only keeps me happy for a few minutes. Killing is fun...I'll leave you be for now unless you intend on following me." She raised up her bag, "I've got to collect my pay in the next town over."

She grinned widely. Reina had no use for power, really. She just wanted something entertaining. If she could kill someone in a new way or if power would lead to her complete independence, then she was all for it. Reina never considered that power itself could entertain her.
"Not power, just looking for something fun." She began playing with the arm of her kimono, feeling the silk between her fingers. She often did this, as the softness of the silk calmed her. "Always looking for something to entertain myself with." Reina paused, "Like dead bodies."
She raised her arms above her head and stretched her limbs. "Most things in life are boring, that's why I don't really care for this stupid war, this stupid world really. People are boring with all their rules and regulations." She picked a small flower from the tree above her and tucked it into her ear.
"Some people just want to watch the world burn." Reina then winked.

She believed him, she had no reason not to. She couldn't see any kind of way that the flames were from something natural, so she did believe him when he said it would be impossible to steal it.
Also, she didn't want to be charcoal. Reina had plenty of fun and entertaining things left to do, and dying wasn't on that list.
"It's getting quite warm in here." She considered taking off her kimono, but decided against it. She wasn't really interested in [fading to black] with this man. At least, not yet.
Instead of taking it off, she just walked back outside the dojo. She expected him to follow, hoping her sexual poweress would lead him.
If he followed her, she would just continue the conversation outside.
If he didn't, then she would probably take off her kimono. It really was hot in there!

Reina had come face to face with a lake just large enough that she could see the Asai territory from here. She had often thought about venturing into that area to see if there were jobs to be had, or men to be killed. Now that she had arrived at the lake, it was time to cross. She had rented a small boat from a man who told her there was a dock, straight across the lake where his cousin would be waiting in the shack.
So, Reina sailed across the lake. The wind blew her short hair around as if she were in a Mercedes Benz...wait, what's a Mercedes Benz?
Once she was across the lake, she found the man's cousin and returned the boat. He lived just a few short miles from a small village that specialized in poultry, particularly chicken and duck. She hadn't had good meat in years and just thinking about something other than fish made her mouth water.
Reina decided to travel to this village and eat her (stolen) fill of the rich, fatty birds.
She could see small pens that held the chickens, the fences surrounded the sides and the top. Actually, it looked more like a cage then anything, but she didn't care. When no one was looking, she undid some of the fencing and grabbed the fattiest, most delicious chicken of all. Immediately she broke it's neck so it wouldn't continue squawking through her tight fingers.
She turned to exit the cage, and there was a man standing there.
"Shiiiiiitt....."

"Forget it, Old Man! I refuse to listen to your nonsense anymore!" And with that, Reina was gone. She had nothing but her wineskin, her knapsack with small trinkets and old oil for the blade she had been given just a few short months ago and the Saitō Family Katana.
That was about a week ago. Today, Reina was exploring her local market. The market was teeming with men, insignificant, unpowered men. She didn't care about them. She was really interested in a man she could see from across the road, an expensive looking kimono and a tone of voice that reminded her of the owls she often heard at night. "WHO, WHO, WHO"
The woman she had been staying with for the past week had given her a key to the door, so long as she brought no men into the home. No problem, Reina hated men. She hated the way they smelled, the way they acted, and certainly, they way they [faded to black].
The man was older, probably somewhere in his 40's. She had left her katana at home, but was sure to wear her hidden dagger. Today was Reina's day off, so she decided to rid the world of another bastard of a man.
"WHO COULD POSSIBLY WANT TO BUY THESE SHIT-COLORED ROBES."
The poor merchant was taking in these rude man's words, sweat beading on his brow. As she approached the man, she could feel a pair of eyes watching her.

Reina scoffed as she heard the task that her uncle had laid out before her. Just the day before, he had given her the Saitō Family heirloom, a katana that was meant for nothing short of killing. Today, he had woken her up at the crack of dawn, much to her protest, and was forcing her to do some kind of training.
"You must get stronger, Reina-chan. If you do not, you will soon find yourself without life." Reina felt like sticking her tongue out at him. Some greasy old man shouldn't be telling her what to do with her life, especially if he meant to set her free into the world soon.
Truthfully, Reina decided to do the exercise because she knew her uncle was right. She wouldn't be able to survive if she did not get stronger.
"Hideki," she used her uncle's first name to remind him that she was not a force to be toyed with. "I will begin now, but do NOT wake me this early again. I do not need twelve hours for a task as...unnecessary as this."
At this, she walked outside. First, her uncle wanted her to run. Apparently, she was to bring back markers of how far she had journeyed during each lap. There was a peach tree about 1/2 of a mile from here and she was to run to the tree ten times and collect one peach each time. She was to place the peach in his hand and then run back to get another. This wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't the rainy season. Big droplets of water fell from the sky, filling any and all footprints with muddy water.
Shaking her head at the stupidity of the "requirements" to prove her passing, she began to run. Today she did not have on a kimono, but a white hakama and happi. It wasn't difficult to retrieve the first peach, but she realized what a strain this would be for her, knowing that she not only had to make the journey to the tree, but back also in the rain.
She grabbed the first peach, then the second and third before she began to run out of breath. She was glad she had picked lighter clothing in order to complete these tasks. It wasn't sunny, but it sure was hot. She picked the fourth peach, and the fifth. By this time, she began to run slower. She had spent a lot of energy in the first two runs and was now beginning to dwindle.
"Don't expect this to happen again, Old Man." Slightly frustrated, she told this to her uncle when she brought back the 7th peach. Once she got to the tree for the 8th time, she was truly angry. Her breathing was quick and her blood felt like it was boiling. This time, she picked a rotted one. "Enjoy some smelly fruit, Hideki." The old man kept a straight face as she disrespected him. He was calm, knowing that she was not happy with her task. Soon enough, though, she had finished the task all together.
"There, ten peaches. Happy now?" She pulled her hair into a very high pony tail, wiping the sweat from her brows and chin. She started to walk inside when he grabbed her arm. "One shorter task and then you are done for the day. You must get stronger here" -he smacked the front of his hand against her stomach. "One hundred fifty push-ups, two hundred sit-ups. I will be counting." She scowled at him and tried to push her way past him. "Crazy geezer." But the man pushed her back and she fell ass-first into the mud. "One hundred fifty push-ups, two hundred sit-ups." He repeated.
She was growling at him as she turned onto her stomach and began pumping out push-ups. At around 50, her arms gave out beneath her. Calmly, he said "One hundred push-ups, two hundred sit-ups."
She started them again and was able to get through another 55 before they gave way again. He repeated what she had left in the same tone. Her anger with the old man pushed her on, to finish. Once she was done with the push-ups, she said to him while almost out of breath "Once I am done with the sit-ups, leave me alone." She didn't want to fight him, but if she was angry enough, she probably would.
And so, the sit-ups began. Her back sloshed in the mud each time she went to touch the ground. A sucking sound could be heard sometimes when she fell back particularly hard, exhausted from the workout and tired of the rain. She finished those easily and got up. She was covered in mud.
To prove a point, she took off her clothes and walked into his home in the nude. "I will see you when I feel like it, tomorrow." And with that, she closed the door to her room, leaving her muddy clothing to be rained on.

[[Ooc: Was without internet over the weekend, sorry for the late response.]]
She scoffed loudly. "Kill you? Please, I wouldn't give you the satisfaction...yet. Your fire-hands interest me. How, exactly...?"
She looked at the flames covering his arms, more interested then she let on. She often felt like she was weak and that is why she almost died. The flames gave the man a great power that Reina had never witnessed before, and it excited her.
She felt as if her heart were pumping some kind of stimulant through her veins as her desire to understand and possibly harness the power grew within her. Of course, she couldn't have known that a Musou wasn't able to be stolen, but she certainly hoped she could obtain it somehow.
"Power..." was the only word that she was able to speak, so excited by her own thoughts.

Reina was passing through the area around Kofu. She wasn't typically in this area, but someone had sent her on a job in these parts. She had actually already completed her mission, taking with her the eyes and the branded flesh of her enemy to prove his identity to her employer. A small coinpurse contained a box with the eyes and flesh so that the dead man's bodily fluids would not leak...or smell...as she transported them.
As she was walking along the road, she passed by some old, run down building. It seemed that the entrance had signage on it. From what she could make out, the building was a dojo at some time. She turned her head away momentarily just before she heard a CRACK! It sounded like the pop of a fire, but intensified to the volume of a thunderstorm. CRACK, CRACK!
Her head whipped toward the sound, and she saw bright flashes of light through the holed walls of the former-dojo. "The hell?" Bright light showed just before another CRACK!
Alright, she was curious. Reina rarely did anything because she had to, but because she felt like it. Whatever the sound, and firey light was, it had sparked her interest.
She wasn't stupid, though. She drew her Saitō Family Katana and walked towards the dojo. She couldn't imagine how she must look, blood splatter stains across her pink kimono with a sword in hand, but she didn't care.
Reina never cared.

Name: Saitō Reina Faction: Mercenary Ethnicity: Japanese Age: 19 Gender: Female Height: 4’8" Weight: 85lbs Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Black Appearance: Reina is a very small, thin Japanese woman with breasts about a cup size larger than the average Japanese woman. Her arms are thin but muscular and her abs are only slightly defined. On her right hip, she had a brand of the mark of her family, just three claw marks that cross over another set. She often wears tight clothing with less cloth than an honorable woman should wear. She loves to wear the color red as it reminds her of blood. Personality: If she believed in a Christian “God”, she would be forever damned to hell. Reina is a deceptive, spiteful, flirtatious, lustful woman with no interest in doing what is right. She loves to entertain men, even if only to slay them. She is sexual and doesn’t play it down to respect anyone. Her private person is the same as her public one, a “bitch.” She loves to smile, but only because she enjoys something. Her life is one lived without care for others, but only for the next thrill. History: Reina grew up in a small village in the Oda territory. Her mother and father both passed when she was young, and was left to be raised by her uncle. Without proper parenting, Reina grew up without any understanding, or care, for social boundaries. Seeing the kind of woman she was becoming, he attempted to teach her the ways of woman hood. One day, he caught her standing over a dead animal, covered in blood. That was when he knew that she had the Saitō blood, through and through. He branded her with the claw marks so that she would never forget why she is the way she is. She left her uncle’s house at the age of 15, taking care of herself for most of her teen years. Quickly, she realized how good of a job being a mercenary was. She trained herself to be quick and good with a katana. She also realized how intelligent she is compared to those around her, and began killing men who she considered shallow and ignorant. Around 1559, Reina came into contact with a very dangerous man. Her goal was to flirt with him and entertain him just long enough so that she could kill him and steal his money, but wound up getting herself taken to a sex slave market. Suffice to say, when she walked out, there were few who would step near her. Her blood soaked kimono was proof enough of who had slain the 2 “bosses” and 4 guards inside. With only her fingers, she had ripped the eyes and throats from many of the men. Today, she serves no Daimyo and lives for herself. She kills when she can, steals when she wants and enjoys her life to the fullest.
