"He does that a lot." Toshi smirked, cleaning some cups and putting them away. Toshi knew Takehiro better than almost anyone, and he understood how he was with people. To him, it was clear Brandt struck a good chord with the "Demon" and that was enough for him.
"Me and everyone else in this village, we're former bandits." Toshi was upfront, shrugging, not really embarrassed to admit his past occupation. "I was their chief. We didn't have much of a purpose, especially with our home having been destroyed, and Takehiro brought us out of that. He's a damn good man, a kind man, and that sort of shit's hard to find in this land. Gave us all a new, fresh start, and no one could ask for more than that."

Shingen would have found that his barrier of light would be crushed, given Takehiro's superior strength. He was able to get away from the kick, but that shield would not prevent Takehiro's assault. Using the momentum from his previous turn, Takehiro would have no troubles whirling around and meeting Shingen's ax with an explosive punch, strong enough to redirect it and send his body off balance, all without hurting Takehiro. He was also able to react to the lances from above in time, holding his glaive above himself and spinning it, using the force of it to repel them with little effort.
Two doppelgangers would step out of Takehiro's body, and his weapon disappeared. The one made purely from light to his right, and the dark one to his left. Dark Tak sprouted wings of darkness and leaped into the air, and the one of light dashed to Shingen's left. Takehiro himself aimed one of his explosive whip-fists and fired the knuckles, forcing Shingen to take the explosion to himself, or dodge and meet the attack of one of his doppelgangers. Wherever the whip-fist struck, Takehiro would use it to launch himself in Shingen's direction, and aim to impale his glaive through the Daimyo's waist. Dark Takehiro would launch himself into Shingen's head the moment the man dodged.

Takehiro would smirk at the dead creatures all around the group. Arming his crossbow with two poison arrows, he would take his glaive back in his hands and await whatever threats were likely to continue. He was not going to leave too early. There were sure to be monsters to claim the heads of, and power to be gained.

Takehiro awoke suddenly, an expression of anger ripping itself onto his face. Eyes bloodshot, Takehiro would roar out in anger, looking directly at Noel. His glaive even turned beet-red and veiny as the Daimyo narrowed his eyes.
"Hey asshole! WE'RE TRYING TO SLEEP HERE!" he roared, as if this were some regular occasion. Ripping his arms from the ceiling, Takehiro fell to the floor, his glaive penetrating the wooden flooring and leaving a devastating crater underneath him. As he stood to his feet, it hang close to his knees, and he began walking toward Noel savagely.

 I'm the guy in the pink shirt. The guy to my left is the synth-player for Born of Osiris, my all-time favorite band in the genre. He also happens to be my idol. The best part is I got to meet him because he was hungry and was wandering around looking for a pizza booth. I may or may not have needed to change my shorts after I got to meet him. |

Finding the remaining opponents, Takehiro would launch his glaive into one like a javelin, and then shoot his explosive-whip-fists out at two more, looking to blow them to bits. Hopefully, by then, the other three would have dealt with the remaining two, in which case, Takehiro would just continue to the chest.
"Buranto!" Takehiro would call out whether the enemies were defeated or not. He would reach down and remove his weights, tossing them over to the Nord. "Put 'em on for a little."

Upon seeing his foe, Takehiro's eyes widened. Now that was a big man! A grin appearing on his face, Takehiro would leap back to avoid the whirlwind, countering with one of his own as he jumped back to change the trajectory of the wind. While the big fellow obviously had a stronger attack, Takehiro was able to jump back and use his own whirlwind just in time to avoid being skewered!
As he landed on his feet, the Daimyo would take his crossbow, armed with one weighted bolt and one poison bolt, and fire them both at the large man's core.

Takehiro would shoot out blades of darkness to impale the turtles attacking Hidenori and Haji, while he swung his glaive around himself and coated it in fire. The water would part as he swung, leaving these water creatures open to the flames of his weapon, and he was going to cut them all to pieces. He would strike all those around him as fast as he could without relenting, and then go to the aid of whoever needed him most.

A smirk would appear on Takehiro's face as the Daimyo approached the chest, his weapon still at the ready. "If this is anything like Numa, more bastards are bound to pop out from somewhere. Keep your eyes peeled and your blades ready." The water continued to part as Takehiro stepped forward, so anything within it in his area, he'd find with no problems.

Ayumi and Megumi would be hidden, while Ayumi used her enhanced touch to feel for structural weaknesses that would allow her and her mother to pass through unnoticed. If they had to fight, they would do so, dashing in from the sides with their superior speed to rip the guards apart before they could call for reinforcements. However, if they could get in without a scuffle, that would be their preference.
"If the man has any sense, he'll spare the lives of his sons rather than risk an all-out war he's sure to lose. I don't doubt we can sway him to surrender, as it would be ideal for both armies. However, if we must crush the Kitabatake to show them our might, then we shall do so." Takehiro replied to Brandt calmly, staring out at the enemy forces. The hidden catapult units had their siege weapons aimed at the cannons, while the ballistae were aimed at the main army. They would be mowed down in an instant if they needed to.
"I don't think you understand how tense things are here, Sir," a man replied to Ryunosuke. "Sorry for the delay. Our Lord is at the front lines and things are getting heated. All our attention needs to be drawn to the task at hand. Thank you for the reinforcements! You can assist the main force, or hide your men among the trees. Either would bolster our ranks enough to ensure our victory."

Takehiro would have been prepared for the pull, and the water that as inside the path would part around him allowing him to tread feasibly through the area. As the mermen approached, they would find their water was not present around the Daimyo, so they'd have to be out in the open at all times. With no hesitation, the man rose his glaive overhead and swung it around himself in a wide arc, using it's length to take down as many as he feasibly could with a single swing.

Takehiro's fake doppelganger disappeared, and Takehiro whipped his glaive up to a defensive position. Shingen's ax would collide with the handle of his massive weapon, and as the man flipped, he gave Takehiro an opening. Using his superior speed, the Daimyo of Totomi would launch a clawed sabaton at Shingen's back while he was still airborne, intent on ripping the blades through his flesh and preventing his next attack. Should it hit, the poison that coated the sabatons would send Shingen into a hallucinogenic stupor, and guarantee Takehiro's victory.
Toshi made no gestures as Shou asked about the man in the sky. He simply stared intently with the Takehi-bow in his hands.

"Ah... nice to meet you, Big-Haji. You bring that big-ass sword in there, you better know how to use it." Although the two looked nothing alike, and how he could carry a sword that big was beyond the Daimyo.
"Don't fret, there's nothing in there we can't handle. At the most, I expect we'll suffer a few dings to the head." Takehiro smiled to Haji, and patted Brandt's shoulder. Stepping ahead of him, Takehiro himself decided to take point on this one. If any of them could battle the forces of darkness at a moment's notice it would be him. (Although, Numa was Darkness, and this place is Water. But you get the drift.) Leading the way inside, Takehiro would approach the middle chamber.

As the slabs were being placed by the armory, Takehiro and Toshi would wheel out crates of weapons of all kinds. There were swords, spears, zanbatos, broadswords, hammers, halberds, every sort of weapon you could think of for close-quarters combat. Once the crates were all wheeled out, Takehiro and Toshi would drag the slabs into the the back of the armory, where Kanbe would be able to do his thing, and then they'd get to re-addressing the soldiers.
Once more, orbs of water would appear before the soldiers, and a smile graced Takehiro's lips. "You lot are performing admirably!" Not a single soldier had given up. Those who were but ants in comparison to the Demon's strength continued to fight on through his own methods of training and managed to complete them. That was a sign of a worthy army. "Continue to fight on for a little while longer and I assure you, you will reach heights other armies could only dream of!"
"Step up and take a weapon, soldiers!" Toshi instructed, pointing to the crates. Not a single soldier would be given their unique, powerful weapon. They would be given a standard-issue weapon of their choice, to level the playing field that was about to form. They had to fight while they were still tired, as well, to further their training. "Your task will be simple! Each of you must work together against your Daimyo and his advisor. The exercise will end when you can all land one hit on both of us!" Takehiro would take a standard-issue glaive, and Toshi a standard-issue spear.
"Remove your weights."
Takehiro threw his weights to the ground at his side, and a powerful cloud of dust was kicked up.

While the soldiers were finishing off their runs, Takehiro and Toshi would begin heaving in enormous slabs of granite, laying them flat on the ground next to each other. In total, there would have been fifty, fifty feet long, fifty feet high, and three feet wide. Takehiro could carry these slabs on his own, but it was a strain on his arms, whereas Toshi would have had to drag the slabs through the grass to get them there on his own. That's how heavy they were.
"Alright, good job, men! But no letting up just yet!" Takehiro roared, once the runs were completed. He wiped a bit of sweat from his brow, ordering the soldiers to file in by the slabs. "Ten people to a slab! No more, no less! You are to take these slabs and carry them from here to the armory, where they will be cut down and shaped into armor!" The armory was 500 yards away, and those slabs were unbelievably heavy. And, to top it off, once the group was half-way done, Toshi would increase the moisture around the groups to make them heavier, and he would fill the holes in the slabs of granite with water.
Oh, and they were not instructed to remove their weights.

Takehiro would smile, waving to Haji and the dufus he seemed to be escorted by. With the inclusion of his powerful friend of light, this was sort of looking like Numa all over again, although the four would never be in that situation together a second time in the foreseeable future. Takehiro was happy to explore these places with friends like Brandt and Haji, who were the closest he'd had in his life aside from Toshi, his soon-to-be-wife, and his adopted daughter. Yukimura was dead to the Daimyo, and Katsumi was on her way there, especially after her biased judgment she made, keeping Yukimura in her favor and shunning Takehiro, when the Daimyo made a conscious effort and sacrifice to save her, Yukimura, and Haji from the terrors of Numa. So, perhaps it was good she and the Takeda man were not present for this escapade, as it could not end well.
"What awaits, friend, is but a portion of the power you seek," Takehiro smiled, patting Brandt on the shoulder. "Haji! My good man, this is Buranto, a good friend of mine," he wasn't about to call him his disciple. "Who's the gargantuan baboon you have with you?" That baboon was a reference to Hidenori.

Takehiro would be mounted side-by-side with Toshi on the forefront of the battle, each of the two men looking out at the evidently larger Kitabatake army. While the Amakusa did not have numbers, they had incredible skill on their side, and most of their generals belonged to the Hojo Elite prior to their affiliation with the Amakusa. Should things go south, Takehiro was prepared, and had units stationed in key locations all across his side of the battlefield, and even put up some mounted siege weapons, such as catapults, ballistae, and arbalests. Most of his units would be obscured by hills, leaving him with the much smaller main force to be visible. Four of the ninja elite would be hidden in the trees, waiting for the Kitabatake to strike.
Wakahisa Megumi and Ayumi would infiltrate the Kitabatake's main city, finding it much easier to sneak past the smaller force than the large one. Using Takehiro's distraction to their advantage, they went on in hopes of finding the sensible man who sought surrender rather than a sustained war. The two sought Kitabatake Harutomo.
Ryunosuke and his force would be permitted entrance into the Amakusa main camp, and from there, he would have free-reign of his decisions, unless he opted to strike pre-emptively, at which point he would be stopped.

The Seto Sea was a good distance from Totomi, and even though it was closer than the swamps of Satsuma, it was difficult for Takehiro to find the time to come to the temple. He had now, though, and was more-or-less unannounced, figuring whoever else showed up would be the ones he entered with. So, to the temple he sailed, fully decked out in all of his personal armor, and what he earned from Numa Castle.
Disembarking from his ship, Takehiro made his way toward the entrance.

Takehiro would not wait for the sun itself to move before he acted. Forming a small shroud of darkness around his eyes to shield himself from the light, Takehiro ripped his glaive from the ground and whirled around in a circle, flinging his glaive with ferocious momentum at the Daimyo's waist! The glaive would still be invisible, however, and his doppelganger would dash forward and behind Shingen, with his own glaive at the ready. He threatened to cut Shingen in half whichever path the man used to escape. While it could not truly harm Shingen, that was a fact the Daimyo of the Takeda would remain unaware of.

The entire room filled with advisers and generals would quickly empty, the men and women muttering their thoughts on the plan. Some seemed to think it was foolish, though the vast majority was on the Daimyo's side with it. It was clear - or so he hoped - he knew what he was doing.
"I must ask, Tak," Toshi began once the room was empty, aside from the two. "What are your plans for splitting our forces? We have Morei assistance across the sea, yes, but how will we handle who will focus on Hida and who will focus on Ise?" The man seemed not only curious, but concerned. Despite his concern, there was no worry in his voice, which comforted Takehiro greatly. The Daimyo smiled at his friend, letting out a small chuckle. "That is simple!" Takehiro chirped, standing from his seat.
"I will lead the forces on Ise, and you will march on Hida with our main force."
Toshi's eyes widened and he looked at his Lord in surprise. The two were close, yes, and they'd proven they could trust each other on more than once occasion, but Takehiro was leaving what was quite possibly one of the most important territory claims they would make in the hands of a former bandit chief! This was incredible to the general, though he would be lying if he said it did not fill him with pride.
"But, Takehiro - are you certain?"
"Toshi!" Takehiro's hands would fall upon Toshi's shoulders, giving him a good, reassuring shake. "You are my single most trusted officer! If there is anyone I would want to lead the battle in my stead, it is you. And not only that, I know you are the most capable of withholding the qualities of the "Demon of Totomi" when I cannot!"
Toshi would smile, nodding. "Takehiro... of course. I won't let you down." The general was incredibly honored, though the relationship the two had kept him from using phrases like "My Lord! What an honor," or anything like that. But, Takehiro didn't need those to know. "I know, my friend."
The two would approach the table again, looking at the map that lay upon it. Takehiro was about to discuss formations Toshi could utilize in the battle, when there was a knocking on the chamber doors.

Once Haji's ball of light was thrown, Takehiro paid it absolutely no mind. He had elemental invulnerability, and so it was something he did not need to worry about - that, or Yukimura's fire. He would act, though, when Shou threw his sword, sending out his shield as his doppelganger, who would catch the sword and throw it back at its user!

Type of Quest: Subjugation or Extermination. Territory claim.
Quest Info: Using the momentum from taking Shima so quickly, Takehiro marches onto Ise, with the Kitabatake sons bound. He draws his main force as far inland as he can to draw the attention of the Kitabatake forces, but not far enough to be attacked just yet. His goal is to have the enemy forces drawn to his and form ranks on the front lines, so there are few men guarding the main camps. In that scenario, he sends out his wife, Wakahisa Megumi, and her daughter, Wakahisa Ayumi, to try and reason with the Kitabatake leader and seek a nonviolent end to the battle.
If Possible: Takehiro would like to claim Ise without eliminating the Kitabatake, instead using their numbers to add onto his own. If this plan fails, he will slay as many officers as he needs to, while still taking in defectors. If negotiation does not work, he will use brute force.
NOTE:: This does not need to be tended to right away. I realize I have a lot of these going on right now (Hida, getting involved in Suruga) and being put on hold is fine by me.
Location: Starting at the Ise-Shima border.
People Involved: Amakusa army, Brandt(?), Kitabatake Army.
Plot-Important: This is faction-related stuff, so maybe.
