Brandt successfully crushed the lead soldiers shield and then killed him plus two others. The last one ran like a coward, and began to scream out.
Growling under his breath he would his arm and take aim to try and shoot a couple single bolts to try and silence him. If he missed, then he would begin to run up the stairs behind the last guard like a predator dead set on getting his dinner.

Now residing off to the other side of the doorway, Brandt would have landed on his shoulder and rolled into a crouch. Those pale green eyes locked upon the doorway. He would seen see a shield inching its way i to the room, and that was when he would strike. The viking would attempt to break the shield and the owner behind it.
From his crouched position he would push toward the defender, his body twisting at his hips so that he could get as much torque behind his attack as possible. Both hands tight upon his sword, Brandt would aim to slam the blade into the shield just below center mass.
If it connected he would try to follow up by using his movement to shift to his right and side step, bring his sword up and over in attempt attack the shield from the top. His hopes were that the first strike would be enough to weaken the shields frame, while the second enough to carve through the top half of the shield, and hopefully maybe hit two of the soldiers.

Brandt was just glad that his undertakings thus far had been cautious. Had he rushed up the stairs he might have gotten that spear to the head.
Stepping backwards down the staircase, that massive sword would be thrust toward his enemies to keep them at bay. He would find himself retreating back to the previous room, sliding off to the right of the doorway.
His free hand would reach behind him and grasp a wooden cartridge, quickly reloading it i to his gauntlet as he waiting for the first to od the guards to come. As soon as he heard their footsteps he would dive across the doorway and unleash a barrage of bolts.

Brandt would almost crack a smile as all four guards now lay dead. This was something he lived for. The Nord yearned for battle kn a regular basis, and he had grown quite good at killing throughout his years. But he wasn't finished just yet. Brandt still had a girl to rescue.
As he neared the next staircase, sounds echoing from the stairwell above caught the giants attention. Placing his back against the center of the staircase, Brandt would cautiously climb the stair case with ears and sword at the ready.

As Brandt neared the top of the staircase he would survey what he could and as he reached the landing he would put his attack plan into action. His left hand grasping the handle of his sword, which was slung over his right shoulder with the flat of his blade resting on it. He would begin his dash toward the two playing cards.
But the first phase wouldn't be directed toward them. As he ran his right arm would lift at his midsection and he would release the last of his bolts, two bursts directed toward the wall sitter and the one looking out the window. And it would only take a few steps for him to come into range of the gambling men.
At which point his right hand would lift to assist his left to Swing a wide arc across the top of the table at chest height of the guards. He had been in similar situations before in his life time. He almost felt like he was raised and honed to take on armies. If all went well, he would double check the bodies for anything useful before continuing upward.

So far, so good..
Wrestling the key from the corpse of the guard whom held it, Brandt would make haste as he went back to the tower doors. With a few cautious last glances around the courtyard, the nord would put the key in and turn.
Once inside he would shut the door behind him and look around briefly before he would start to make his way toward the top. He hoped this was his final destination here. Things had gone well for him thus far and it would be a shame for things to go south now.

Brandt successfully impaled four and finished them off, only to have two more rush him and bring him down to the ground. The giant wouldn't fight the fall. Instead he would simply try to use their momentum against them. Brandt would tuck his head and drop his upper half low, kicking with his feet as he did so.
He would attempt to land on his shoulders and force the three of them into a roll. If all went well then the giant just a few pounds shy of three hundred pounds would be resting with a knee on each creatures torso. His sword automatically lifting to point in front of him with hopes that the stupid rotting corpse would impale itself as it came for him.

If possible, I would like to buy a power for my Reaper Cross-Bow Gauntlet.
Power: Upon activation of the gloves power, Brandt would be able to magnitize metal objects. He can use it for both defensive and offensive purposes, to either deflect or redirect attacks, or to disarm opponents on the battlefield. It would also give him the ability to release objects at high speeds, creating something similar to a rail-gun effect.

Damn it!
Hearing the footsteps, Brandt would cast a quick glance in that direction before he throw himself into a side-roll and unsheathing his blade before his back would brush against the wall next to the hallway the guards were coming from.
The Nord would wait until he saw all three of them step from the hallway into his sight before he would swing his hefty blade in an arc, hoping to cleave all three of their heads off before they knew what hit them.
If all went well, he would search the corpses for a key to the tower.

Brandt listened to the words Nanami spoke and while it might not have registered on his face, he took note of her kindness. He was still far from ready to simply tell her his life story. However he might have felt he could atleast indulge her a little bit. Though he was still not very good at conversing.
"Not much to learn.. I travel.. I kill men for a living.."
Blunt as always, Brandt would find himself staring into the fire as well, his own memories of growing up in a war clan. A flood of horrible memories, including the use of such a beautiful thing as fire. He had raised villages often in his younger years and regretted a lot of what he had done.
Another voice soon snapped the giant back jnto reality. Had this person not said Nanami's name then Brandt probably would have sprung into offensive action. However the name being called meant this person knew his new acquaintance. For now he would sit silently by the fire, munching on the fish Nanami had cooked. Even the crunches of bone could be heard, and it didn't even phase him.

Brandt had been taken by surprise when he felt his body sucked through the doorway and tossed into a deathly trap. The odor he smelt was familiar to him, it wasn't exactly his favorite smell in the world, but he wouldn't allow it to bother him. Instead he would focus on the undead creatures that rose up to face the companionship of his.
"Let the dead stay DEAD!"
Brandt roared out as he too plunged forward, his blood pumping with excitement as the battle with the dead began. That massive sword would be thrust forward as he approached the crowd at his ally's left side.
His goal was to impale as many as he could with his sword, before tugging off to his left to try and send whatever got impaled, smack dab into the walls of the room they were in.

Those pale green eyes settled upon the tower at the far end, and he would begin to make his way across the courtyard, along the inside walls. He would take cover and pause here and there to check and make sure no one would spot him.
Upon reaching the tower, he would simply check to see if it was unlocked. If it wasn't then he was either going to have to find a key, another way in or possibly break in. He knew though that raised the risks of him being discovered.

Brandt would only celebrate in the inside, outside he remained like a statue as he flicked his wrists and silently commanded the horses to pull the carriage once again. He would stay his course forward, his eyes shifting left and right, high and low.
He wanted to make sure he scouted enough for an escape route once he had the girl. His contractor had told him it was a teenage girl, thus he figured he could manage to carry her and escape if he had to.
As Brandt pulled into the stables, he would have taken note of the single guard. It was unfortunate for him that he was on duty this night. As the cart rolled to a halt, Brandt would hop from the carriage, lifting his arm and shooting two bolts without hesitation or warning.
As long as the guard was taken care of, he would pick up the body and stuff it into the haystack next to him. From there he would move from the stables, and try to find the best route inside.

"Oy, what do you have in there, friend?"
"He's a tall "friend" ain't he..."
"Aye.. And I can eat twice my height! Just bringing in some basic supplies.. And a special parcel for your lord, himself.."
Of course they didn't know his gift would be a release to the afterlife if he wasn't able to find the teenage girl he was looking for without a fight. Brandt's face remained hidden as he stared forward to survey his surroundings as they guards questioned him. He hoped his ruse would work to his advantage. And that he could continue without alerting anyone to a hostile presence. So far things had worked out. He would just have to press onward, cautiously as he had been.
If he made it by the guards, then he would figure out what to do next.

It seemed.that this castle called warriors in to its location, for as he had approached the first 'woman' and asked his question, another female appeared and answered it first. It seemed as if they were here to find some kind of fortune. Brandt wasn't necessarily here for treasure, though he probably wouldn't turn it down either.
The Nord was just curious to see what really went on in this place. Brandt feared nothing that lived, nor died. So he too would begin to walk toward the castle entrance following the one who had took the lead. The giant remained quiet as he did, scanning his surroundings as he moved with his right arm bent up and his hand grasping the hilt of his blade.
Let us see what secrets are kept within..

Patience wasn't the best of virtues but he would manage to hold off on attacking so that he could wait for the next patrol switch. It seemed the guards were lazy around here and didn't seem to show up when expected. This would give him a small window of opportunity.
The viking could hear the sound of a carriage drawing near and knew that now would be the time to act. Waiting till the patrol went inside, Brandt would give a few seconds before he would lift his right arm and take aim with his repeating crossbow. He would launch two bursts of five bolts toward the guards at the entrance with hopes that he would send them to their maker before they even knew what hit them.
If all went well and he dropped the gate guards, he would rush toward his left to intercept the carriage, leaping to try and kick the driver from the carriage and knock him unconscious and into the foliage on the other side. The cloaked giant would then take the cart toward the castle gates.
Acting as quickly as he could he would then try to toss the bodies of the guards into the back off the carriage and hopefully retake the seat and move through the gate before the other patrol came back. If it worked, he would continue to ride on through, as if he was the original coach of the caravan.

There it is..
The nord stared defiantly toward the small castles gates and the group of guards waiting outside of it. He would then watch as a caravan approached the castle gates. Brandt would continue to watch the guards carefully as they began inspecting the carriage.
He wasn't about to just bum rush them without at least trying something else first. The giant would peer through the foliage and try to examine the guard routines.
Piss-ant little Bacrauts(assholes)..
If he could pin point a weakness then he could exploit it and tip the tides in his favor. Possibly even sneak in without detection. However he knew such a feat wasn't always the easiest to accomplish given his stature. With luck he would pin point something, and then he would act accordingly.

Brandt's blood was beginning to pump as the first wave of the assault began. Brandt was not lumped in with the rest of them, instead staying far off to their right. Hid pale eyes would watch the battle begin to unfold, and before long his own body would begin to tremble. Not out of fear, but out of excitement for the battle to come.
He would begin to move forward, still far off to the right. Pulling his sword from its sheath, he would grasp and lift it with his left arm as he ran, allowing the flat side to act as a shield to deflect any unwanted projectiles. His goal would not be to attack this round, instead to simple swoop around and flank the four warriors that called them here today.
I will show them a bloodlust unlike any other! From The House of Strength, you will feel my wrath!

Pale green hues settled their sights upon a castle with a dark aura blanketing its surroundings. Something in his blood told him to be weary of such a place. But this giant knew very little about what most called fear. He had seen a lot thus far jn his lifetime. He wasn't about to be scared off by folklore and legend.
It was then that they would fixate upon a figure nearby. A woman out here, all alone? It was confusing to Brandt to see such a thing. But there was a lot he had seen in this region which he wasn't accustomed to.
Pulling himself from the foliage, the male would move toward the 'woman'. His right arm lifted, with his hand grasping close to the hilt of his massive sword. Though his cloak covered most of his body, the shape of the blade could be seen as the material of his cloak brushed against it.
"What is this place?"
His voice was deep, rough. It was pretty clear that vocal damage had happened to him at one point in his life. And it wouldn't help that his accent was horrible and his japanese was extremely basic. Brandt's eyes would stare toward the female, his face hidden by the hood of his cloak.

And he was here. Brandt could feel the coming battle in his blood. He too had stumbled upon a flyer and his everlasting lust for battled pulled him to this location. Maybe it was partly curiosity, for he had heard great rumors of excellent warriors inhabiting this region. And as Brandt kneeled upon a sloping hill overlooking the soon-to-be battlefield, he could almost feel the energies of war building.
Sharp eyes would watch cautiously for the moment, feeling the warmth of sun at it back. He would use this position to his advantage, because in the heat of battle all was fair, and one would have to use any advantage given.
The clash ahead may end up a silent whisper heard by few, but the potential for something legendary was quite high. The Sword of The House of Strength would show his might to the world.

"Well, how about it?"
Careful eyes searched the beachfront as they came upon it. Brandt had plenty of bad experiences when it came to ambushes. He knew nothing of this region, really. Thus his guard would remain up for quite some time. After scanning it over once again, the giant would hoist his sword up and shove it into the sandy earth.
"This is.. fine"
Brandt would not focus his attention upon the female at this moment though. Instead he would stride toward the water. Pulling his blood soaked cloak from his neck, he would grab a hold and squeeze. The water would run red briefly as the water released into the ocean. He had done it so nonchalantly that it seemed as if it might have been a regular thing he had become so accustomed to doing.
"Why did you decide to try and help me?"
Turning to face the girl now, the large male you then glance at the fish in her hands, before turning to start work on getting a fire going. Brandt would keep his ears open should she continue to speak, but he stood still no longer as he began to gather any dead wood of sorts he could. The trees here were by far some of the strangest he had ever seen.
(OOC: Sorry it took so long!)
