They can't stop the Demon now

[Kuroshi Maki]

Type of Quest: Raid ( A gang up in the wilderness)
Quest Info: Maki finds a clue that somewhere in the forrest near the sea stands a large house, this house is used by the men he seek that killed his mother. He will enter and try to slay them all and find more clue's in the end he will not find the killers.
Location: In a Forrest inside the Oda
People Involved: Maki and the one in the gang of Black armor wearing warriors.
Plot-Important: Depends on how out of hand it gets.

Maki would find himself in a forest along the Owari-Mikawa border, rather close to the sea. There were many clues he'd found that the men he'd been searching for were in the area, he'd just need to pinpoint where.

If Maki watched, he would find men in black armor patrolling the forest roads every fifteen minutes. Groups of three at a time, always on the dot.

Currently, the weather was fierce, with rain pouring down on the forest and turning the dirt to mud. Luckily for Maki, he'd done enough fitness training this wasn't going to be a problem, and it was definitely going to help him sneak through without making too much noise.

Reaching the Forrest after hearing villagers talk about those men, it sounded like the ones I seek, It started to rain way before so the weather was not the best but I could handle it. As I watch the road from behind a large tree I could spot 3 men every 15 minutes. I waited for them once again and would try to follow them. I would sneak around so they would not hear it. The rain also would make it harder for them to hear the surroundings so that was helpful. I would follow them all the way to where they were going. I could feel I was getting closer. they seem to feel like the ones that day.

Maki would be able to trail the men for a while, until it seemed patrols switched up! The group he was following would meet up with another at a crossroads, and they would both turn around and head back where they came from!

Having followed them for some time, I could hear other men talking. It seems they were meeting up with another group of patrol's and they would greed each other before turning around and head back. I would hide behind a tree until both would be far enough from each other for me to follow the new patrol.

I would stay behind the tree's so I would be harder to spot and the rain would help me with it. Every time they would look around I would stop and stay silent behind the tree and hope they would not spot me. I had to find out were they were going in the first place. This could mean my revenge or at least abit closer to those I seek. Just seeing the men would anger me but I was able to keep it under control.

Following the patrol for somewhere around thirty minutes, Maki would find they stopped at a large home, almost the size of a small castle. There, they met up with another patrol, and reversed their route.

The place was two stories tall, with twenty-five men actively patrolling the outside. They were all decked in great, black armor, and each wielded a spear. As for what lay inside, there was no way of knowing.

They seemed to be walking for some time now, I could not tell but finally I could see something in the tree line, it was almost the size of a small castle. Hiding behind a big tree I would start to count the ones outside and they were with allot that's for sure. 20+ and I didn't even seen the inside. How would I even get inside without being seen. I wasn't a ninja at least not yet, and hiding this weapon was not possible so only one thing remained.

I would dash from behind the three and would jump up slamming down the Guando in the first set of patrol's I could find. I just hope I had grown in strength enough to get trough this. I was going to clean this place out and all those with it.

" Maki is home, you will all DIE! "

Maki's guan dao would slice through the first enemies' armor as though they were coated in butter (Gross), slaying the men relatively quickly! The rest of the outside patrols turned their eyes to him, 21 opting to charge at him while one ran into the castle!

Maki would quickly be surrounded by the 21 guards, and one would run at him from behind, looking to ram his spear through the man's spine!

This wasn't good, they surrounded me faster then I would have thought. Yet they didn't attack me at the same time. Only one was brave enough to attack me and he did it from behind. I could hear his footsteps getting closer. Wielding a spear means I had to react fast. Spinning around I would slam my Guando against his spear knocking it to the side and with the blade I would strike his neck, in between the helmet and the chest plate. If he would be taken care of I had to make the move before them.

Spinning the Guando around me from side to side, ever so it would hit the ground and when it hits a rock it would create a spark. after a few steps I would dash forwards and spin it around my waist striking those around me at that point hoping I would at least take some down. My eyes filled with hate towards this men.

" WERE ARE YOU! "

Maki would manage to take the first man down, decapitating him with little effort! He would then be rushed by two men, one of whom kept him from continuing his assault by parrying his weapon and avoiding its blade, throwing off his momentum! He would be kicked in the back and sent forward by the second man, and now had two spears aimed for his neck!

Before I could slay those I felt my weapon being hit to the side and before I could place it back a kick was smashed into my back making me stumble forwards. just because I grew in strength didn't mean by any chance these warriors were weak, they were a special force of people not only from here but from different parts of the world. They were hired to kill and raid so beating them would not be a easy task. And being me I rushed into it once again. Yet now wasn't time to think about that as I was already in combat with them.

Two spears came near my neck but before they could hit there mark, my Guan Do would spin around cutting both spears in half. At this point I would roll away from them on my left shoulder and with the roll I got back on my feet. Looking around it seems there numbers were still larger then my own. I should have brought those men I fought with. But I left on my own and now have to face them alone. Yet I did have a element of surprise.

" Ever seen a Dragon? "

My words would make no sense if I didn't follow up with what was coming next. With a roar a burst of fire came from the mouth opening of the mask trying to burn as muchts of those in front of me. ( mask power used once 1 per 10 spirit) They had awaken a Dragon among Demons.

Maki's fire attack would surprise the group! The flames would spit forth onto a few men, and the rest were terrified and had yet to act! However, the flames would quickly dissipate, given the heavy rain! This did serve to give Maki a huge advantage in Morale, however!

The fire would not last long as the rain would put it out, but that was ok. I had broken their spirit with what I did because they never seen that kind of power before. As I noticed they would step back abit I would rush forwards to the confused enemy. Slamming the Guan Do into the first set of 4 I could find knocking them back, as they would stumble back I would slash them at the same time hoping the Guan Do would be able to take all 4.

" You guys have brought this upon yourself. "

Dashing away from the 4 I tried to kill just now even if it didn't work. I dashed at another one and would jump up slamming the Guan Do down trying to cut him in half. I had to show brute force in a way they would lose there will to fight. Nobody wants to be cut in half.

Maki would slay the five men he attacked, none of them having the will to react! They all fell, and the rest of the fifteen fell back in fear! One of them stood to his feet, charging at Maki from behind and looking to stab him through his waist!

15 men still surrounding Maki.

It seems fear has already defeated them as 5 of them were slain with ease. None would attack except for one but his fear made him just slower. As he would draw closer I would turn my body letting the spear pass me without hitting me in the waist and made the enemy come closer to me. The back of my Guan Do would slam hard against the back of his head enough to cause bleeding in the brain. Turning towards the ones blocking the door of the building.

I would charge forwards but instead of slamming my weapon in them I would fake it making them raise up there defense and I would duck low swinging the blade at there knee's hoping to cut those legs off in between the armor on the legs. If they would fall I would rush into the building.

The charging man's head was struck powerfully enough that he fell to the ground unconscious. The group he charged at the group blocking the entrance to the castle, and they acted as he expected, enabling him to swipe at their legs and cut them out from under them. This enabled him to make it inside the castle, where he would find another fifty armed men!

"There's the intruder! Get him!"

The ten men from outside charged Maki from behind, while another ten charged him front the front.

Charging into the building I ran into allot more guards, seriously how many of them were there? The 10 behind me soon followed and came at me charging, yet 10 would also charge me from the front. Things were turning bad for me at this point. Standing still I would wait till they got closer.

` Guess I have to go all out in the end ´

As they came closer i would dash towards the one coming from the front, smashing the Guan Do into the ones in front knocking them back against the ones following them to give me more time. I would spin around and spin the Guan Do with me slamming them against the first ones coming from the back killing them were they stand.

Dashing forward at them that remained from behind and keep spinning my Guan Do around blocking incoming attacks and counter them with the blade to strike them down swift and fast until they were all gone. This would leave the 10 that come from the front to remain and I would see they were back up on there feet but they felt the strength of a powerhouse and were abit shaken. I would repeat what I did before picking them off one by one while keeping a eye out to block and counter.

[Tokugawa Ieyasu]

Maki weapon would slice through the first 3 of men in front of him, before other brought up there weapons in order to block, some losing there weapon in the process as the Guan dao slice cleanly through the wood of there spears. Backing off out of range of the demon like man and into there allies.

Spinning Maki weapon would then cut at those trying to follow, however they were being channelled slightly by the entrance and therefore he only managed to cut at those in the lead. Three more men falling to his weapon. However Maki pushed the attack at those following, cutting down the next three trying to follow with ease. 

The 8 of the 10 who had been in front back off, allowing another ten to step up. They would charge, forming a semicircle and stabbed out with there spears. The remaining 4 in the back would take a step back, spears at the ready to attack once he was distracted by those in front again. Once Maki was focused on them, they would step up once more, and stab out there own spears as well.

I didn't manage to take them all but even a few down would even the odds abit. I was of course only one man but that with the strength of a demon. These men seemed weaker now that I grew in strength yet these were only the pawns of the group. Some probably didn't even know what had happened in the past and didn't know why they had angered me.

As the ones in front switched placed with 10 new ones they created a semi circle and spears in front charging at me. I knew there will still a few in the back as well, yet I had to stay focused. Noticing that when the front got closer the ones in the back started to move as well. I would take them out in one strike. as the spears would almost hit the flesh I would bend my knees making myself lower and the spears just hit air above me. some did hit the hair and even one created a mark upon my cheek but nothing major. now they were all in range.

"FOOLS! "

I would spin the Guan Do slicing all there legs off if it worked and would take out all 14 as they would bleed to dead and being unable to move or block because there spears would tangle in each other some would probably even strike a fellow team mate.

[Tokugawa Ieyasu]

Maki would be able to duck under the majority of the spears, however not all were aimed high, and one would graze the side of his leg on the way pass. However it didn't manage to stop him, and the men indeed were all in range and weapons in a position that they couldn't defend properly. The pole arm would slash out, and take those surrounding him down and out, either dead or soon to be. 

The 7 soldiers with half there spears left, backed off and made for the stairs. Unwilling to fight, inadequately armed. The 30 that remained, formed a spear line, 15 men across. Rather then attack they waited. If Maki charged the first line, he would find the second line stabbing at him pass the first line.

Having killed off the ones before with only a few minor wounds I would step over the cut bodies. Looking at the reaming they seem to form 2 lines of15 each. They waited and sure felt pressure but they had a plan and seemed to be able to scare me off.Yet I could not back down and seeing the way they stand the first line seems like a shield for the ones in the back. Charging head on would be foolish. looking around I saw some jugs and they didn't contain water. It seems it was containing oil and that would come in handy.

Grabbing one I would trow it onto the first line and follow it up by a burst of fire coming from the mask as I could use it one more time before it was empty and drained. If this would work the first line would be on fire and I would trow another jug after it so also the second line would burst up in flames. I had to make sure they were all gone. I didn't had to stand close to kill them, they were foolish enough to stand close to each other.

[Tokugawa Ieyasu]

The men inside hadn't seen Maki's powers outside, and as such didn't expect what followed. Oil would splash, and fire would form, there air being filled by screams and burning heat. The men would fall to the ground, or run around slowly dying, however this presented a new problem. Maki had cut on the way further in, and upstairs with the fire, and it would slowly grow. 

This was bad from the view point of discovering more about the group, because while men my lie, die or refuse to tell. Papers and documentation could not, but these would be lost if Maki allowed the fire to grow and envelop the building.
