Quest Info: Izanami is taking advantage of the doubts present in Haji and is attempting to pull him over to her side. If she is unsuccessful, she hopes to at least toy around with him and break the Chosen of the Light. After all, the brightest light casts the darkest shadow.
Location: Izanami's realm.
People Involved: Haji, Izanami, whoever else the GM determines to be suited for this
Plot-Important: To Haji, yes. To the overall board is a possibility if he ever becomes a Daimyo, depending on the outcome of this thread.

(OOC: Valo appearance) Here I was at the graveyard, kneeling before the grave of a dear friend. Laying flowers at the headstone, I stared at the name that was carved. The only proof that she existed was this grave, and it made my chest hurt. Memories flashed back to that day, how she died right in front of me. Not a day went by that it didn't repeat in my head. I blamed myself for it. Standing up and taking a step back, I continued to stare at her grave. Her brother, Shinn, made me realize that I was far too weak to even protect her memory. There were still plenty of soldiers left in our path, and this battle had to end as soon as it could. Raising my hands, I would channel as much energy as I could into them, creating a mass of light energy, before sending it forward into the largest congregation of Imagawa soldiers that I could find. I planned to take as many as I could all at once in a giant blast of light. However, this would take a lot out of me, and I would drink one of my Musou Wines afterwards to restore my strength.
Combining my dual blades, I would slay any soldiers who tried to get close to Katsumi, allowing her to take out any enemies who were further away. I just wanted this to end.

Whistling as I saw the sword and shield my opponent carried, I readied my own as he advanced. My doppleganger would shoot out, rushing to slash out at both of the creatures attacking Hidenori and Brandt with incredible speed, his slashes imbued with my light. Meanwhile, I advanced against my own opponent, aiming to parry his blow with my shield and activating its effect as I planned to spin around him immediately after that, wrapping my whip sword around him with my superior speed. If it managed to get around his body from his neck downwards, I would switch it back to sword form, planning on eviscerating my opponent completely.
(OOC: Doppleganger used. 1 out of 18 uses remaining.)

Not sheathing my blade, I would take a look around after our opponents had fallen. A brief moment of respite after two waves, this was just like Numa Castle. Which meant...
"Hidenori... once you grab that chest, stay on your guard. All of you, remain cautious."
A more powerful foe was bound to show up immediately after. However, I was confident that it was nothing we couldn't handle.

Turning my Seraph's Blade into its whip-sword form again, I planned on slicing through the closest enemy. If any were remaining after my teammates' assaults, I would swing my whip sword at them as well, planning on taking out whatever was left.

Nodding to Takehiro for the quick save, I would follow suit, wasting no time in trying to dispatch these foes. Channeling energy into my hand, I would form throwing knives made of pure light, throwing them at every enemy that I could, serpent or turtle, with the intent of piercing straight through them and killing them in one blow.

Whistling after seeing how fast everything died, I couldn't help but chuckle. This was a vast improvement over Numa Castle. But as Takehiro said, there wasn't any time to let our guard down. Who knew if this place had something more powerful waiting for us? I wandered towards the chest just as the others did, looking around at the water, walls, ceiling, everything, trying to make sure there was nothing that was going to ambush us suddenly.

We were pulled inside, as expected. After all, it made no sense if Numa Castle was the only place that held a great evil within. Changing my blade into its whip form, I would slash out in front of me in a wide arc, opposite to Takehiro's, in an attempt to cut down as many as I could right away.

It was true. At least among any darkness I've ever seen. My mastery over the light was coming along nicely, to the point it wouldn't be too farfetched to call myself an expert at it. Not that I wanted to toot my own horn, just in case Takehiro showed me up again.
I followed alongside the others towards the middle chamber, drawing my Seraph's Blade. I waited for Hidenori to bring in his ridiculous blade... before walking in myself.
"Deja vu, huh?"

"So you really don't know anything about her, huh...?"
I crossed my arms and sighed dejectedly. It sucked hearing about the kind of man my father was from my own brother, but I knew that this wasn't something he'd lie about, especially with such critical injuries. The thing is, while he remains unconscious, I have no way of obtaining anymore information on Hikari.
"I guess we're stuck waiting in the meantime."
I sat up from the table where Hidenori sat, restless. Who was Hikari? And who were 'they', the ones that have her? Was she in danger? Was that why my father was injured? So many questions plagued my mind at this moment, and there seemed to be no answers to any of them.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard a scream pierce the air, my eyes widening from how sudden it was. Grabbing my sword, I would quickly bolt towards the inn's entrance.
"Hidenori, come on!"
A woman was in danger from the sound of it, and I ran towards where it sounded like the scream originated from. As I headed down the village, I would turn a corner and find a man clad in silver armor holding a spear into another man's leg. A distraught woman was nearby in tears. I drew my blade quickly and pointed it at the man.
"What's going on here?"

I fell onto the ground in shock, backing away from that roaring monstrosity as it passed by.
"W-W-W-WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? WHAT DID YOU DO, TAK?!"
I was freaking out. Like seriously freaking out. I had never seen a construct such as that before, and the technology seemed too advanced to be a war machine from another faction... or at least I hoped, I was afraid of what our enemies could possibly have. Looking up into the sky, I saw giant metal birds flying through the air abnormally quick... and they weren't flapping their wings.
AND WHERE WAS TOSHI?

I blinked. Wait, what did she mean by no weapons? Did she assume that I just challenged her to a spar? I absolutely had no intention of that, only wanting to be her exercise partner of sorts. Though, looking back at what I had just said... it's not hard to see why she had jumped to that conclusion.
"I, uh... Katsumi-chan... I..."
I scratched my head. What was I supposed to say? Would saying no let her down? And it'd feel really weird to fight her... I think I would hold back way too much. Or maybe she'd just outright whoop my ass. After my internal struggle on what to do, I would look in her direction and nod.
"Yeah... that sounds fine."
Come to think of it, I hadn't really ever seen her fight up close. The most I'd seen her do is stab a guy until he didn't even look like a person anymore... which was scary and I hoped she wouldn't get that way with me.
Looking at her and keeping my guard up, I wasn't exactly sure how to go about this... "Uh... well... I'll let you make the first move. please don't break me"

I had been in the sky of Kofu for some time now, my wings of light extended as I floated above the Takeda main camp, examining the situation. As Shingen called the sun out, I would look up to see just what he was doing... only to see a couple clouds parting only to reveal the sun shining through. It was rather underwhelming, and if this had been at night, it might've been pretty impressive.
Looking back down to the battle at hand, I noticed Yukimura was unconscious... was this Takehiro's doing? No, I couldn't interfere in this battle just yet. But I had to stop them. If needed, I would draw my blade and enter the fray myself, planning on stopping both warriors from fighting... or at least trying to. Going up against Takehiro made me nervous, but the Tiger of Kai alongside him, even more so. Nevertheless, I bid my time. I wasn't going to let this escalate into war.

"Uh..."
I looked up at the redonkulous sword that my brother was carrying. I had no idea how he planned to carry that into the monastery, let alone swing it around in any sort of useful manner. That said, I would turn towards Takehiro, bowing my head respectfully to the Daimyo of Totomi.
"Takehiro, it is a pleasure to see you here. And a pleasure to meet you as well, Buranto-san." I struggled a bit with the name, but did my best. "This is my older brother... we had a fateful meeting at Okehazama."
I neglected to say that Katsumi could not come. She seemed to decide to travel alongside Yukimura for the time being, and he was one I was a bit peeved with at the moment. It seemed like it would just be us four, but it seemed like nothing we couldn't handle.
Looking at the monastery entrance, I examined it for a bit. "I can feel something down there... something dark... do you think this is a good idea?"

I lowered my weapon in shock as the Uesugi soldier surrendered. Did he just say Morei Hidenori? Was he really...?
Katsuie had stopped everyone from fighting, and the group began to move out towards the main force. I followed along, staying close to Katsumi, as I stared at the back of the man who claimed to be my brother.
"Katsumi... is that... is he really alive...?"
I don't know what kind of answer I expected, but I was in disbelief regardless. Perhaps this meant that Hideyasu was still amongst the living as well. My own brother, Hidenori, and he was almost slain in this battle.
As we approached the main force, I would do my best to snap out of my thoughts, firing huge blasts of light towards the enemy group in front of us in order to take out as many as I could all at once.

Swooping in with my wings of light, I would manage to catch the falling Hidenori before he hit the ground. Landing on the ground almost gracefully, I would set him down with a sigh. Finding out he was alive at Okehazama was a huge surprise, but he was certainly a handful.
"I told you to hold on tightly. You could've died."
Looking up after dispelling my wings, I would see a familiar face. Takehiro was here too? This was looking a lot like deja vu... kind of. I would wave to him with a smile before heading in his direction, assuming my brother was going to follow.

I gritted my teeth, glad I broke through the castle gates, yet I still missed my intended target, Sakon. He also managed to save all of his men, he was truly a force to be reckoned with.
Channeling my energy, I formed five great swords of light above me, and with a shout, I would send them flying forward, planning on decimating the soldiers in front of me. If I can at least get rid of the archers, I'd be happy.

Looking back around, I saw ...something... appear out of nowhere suddenly, a giant Kirby. And in its mouth was... Takehiro?

I opted to stay quiet. Waiting for what seemed like an eternity... only to receive news that we were in a real stickly pickly.
"IS THAT SERIOUSLY ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?!" The weird creature was gaining on us. And why was I the only one not from this game?!
