Name:Ancara Gonzalo
Faction: None, since he's pretty naive and a bit uninformed about what's all happened in his travels.
Ethnicity: He's basically white.
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Height: Approx. 5 ft. 11 in.
Weight: Around 215 lbs.
Eye Color: Azule.
Hair Color: A somewhat dull brown.
Appearance: This is about how he looks, although he also wears simple brown shoes and so forth, keeping things simple:
Personality: Ancara is a man who likes to keep things simple with life, and enjoy things, mainly being the type of man who would wander around the country seeing whatever there is to see. And while at times he does help if he has to, for most of his life since he set off to see all he could see after a certain incident left a huge impression on him, he preferred to keep his motto simple: Don't bother him, he won't bother you, and everyone can go about their lives as usual. For those that do mess with him though, and by that I mean attacking him even after he asks them to leave him be, he will fight back. And usually with all his strength, to try to "convince" them to leave him be, or just to if need be knock them out to let him be. He isn't very good at making new friends, but if he does trust someone, he'll follow them to the ends of the Earth if it means they're alright and no one bothers his friends. Although if they do break his trust, nothing else will make him more break into a maddening rage, and well.....let's just say he's a man who doesn't take betrayal well, at all. All in all, he's a simple man, but he prefers it that way. Even if fate, lady luck and those around him keep trying to make it otherwise.
History: Ancara used to be a young man from a no-name village in Europe in such an ancient time, some place you'd have a very hard time finding on maps unless you've been there before a few times. And up until he turned 18, he hadn't really done much with his life, considering there isn't exactly much to do in a tiny hometown other than "boring" stuff like doing chores, helping with the local farm, and generally helping around the place because it felt like the reasonable thing to do. But on his 18th birthday, he decided it was finally time to leave his hometown, and go off on a journey to explore a land he had rarely heard of from a few folk tales, and from one man who managed to see the place for himself: Japan. He so badly wanted to see everything that was beyond the gates of this little hamlet he lived in his whole life until now, and within that mysterious land that few had ever explored before. With some basic supplies and so forth, and just enough funds to afford a tiny ship to go to his destination, enough to cover for obvious needs, he would soon set off. Traveling across Europe itself was in itself a fun adventure for the young man, Ancara still fairly new to the world outside of his home. It would take a few months of hard traveling and traversing terrain across Europe, and a fair bit of Asia as well, before finally reaching the coast of China. With what little funds he had and so forth, he was able to pay for a one-way trip to Japan itself, the very reason he had journeyed this far to begin with. The ride itself across the ocean was a fairly long one in itself, and giving him a bit of seasickness from the rocking of the boat, and a bit of discomfort from those giving him funny looks within the ship itself. But it would be all worth it in the end as far as he cared, as Ancara would soon finally see and feel the ship docking at port, and at his destination, at long last. By then, he only had the clothes on his back, obviously strange-looking to those who had never ventured outside of Japan before, but they would feel fairly comforting upon him, a reminder of his home far, far away. With that in mind, and an entire country to explore, he finally got the chance to get going, setting off on his grand journey across Japan. Mainly for him because if you're gonna go and see Japan in all its beautiful splendor, and you put all of this effort upon getting here and with now barely anything to your name, you might as well be thorough about it.
For several years, he wandered Japan, going through the different regions as he was awed by so many different things they each had to offer, and how things differed in each region he visited. He also took the time to learn the language of those who lived within this land, considering otherwise no one would understand what he would say at all. And still, he'd be unable to deal with the distinct European accent he had within his voice, although that was something he'd be unable to control, for obvious reasons. Going through forests, crossing rivers, traversing even some rocky terrain and fields, and exploring so much of this mysterious place, it was definitely an experience for the man, and also one that over the years made him bulk up and grow stronger. All that walking, climbing, traveling and occasional animal attacks can do that to man, after all. Up until he was about 25, all seemed fined and wonderful for the now much buffer and stronger man, attacks by animals and thieves non-withstanding. But eventually he would end up facing a bit of reality, as he'd soon watch something he never saw before: two small armies fighting with each other in what seemed to him like a fight to the death. It awed him at first of the scale of it all and seeing them use strange weapons and wear such thick armor and so much more, so many things he had never seen back in his own home. But when it did end, and he saw the casualties of this brawl, he would soon pretty much choose not to have any part of such a mess, mainly both preferring to not end up like that, and also because he didn't think he could handle the thought of someone next to him he knew or was with dying before his very eyes. And as such, he chose to go about a new, simple motto: "let me be, I'll let ya be, and we can go about things happy, alright?" With this new motto in life set, he had spent the last two years since then continuing his goal to see all the sights of Japan. But by now, with things heating up across Japan itself, Ancara likely was going to soon end up in a mess he didn't want to get himself into. Although if there's one habit that's usually consistent for the guy, it's that fate has a funny sense of humor with what happens with him, and who he meets, especially as things soon are likely to become very interesting indeed for this man from a simple village from a land far away...
