Appearance: Slightly tanned skin, long tied back hair leaving the sides and front hanging down. Attractive facial features usually with a blank, but attentive look. A slim but muscular build with small but not noteworthy nicks and cuts from his battles. Wears a light blue kimono with white undershirt and black obi. White Umanori hakuma black tabi with straw zori and when in battle wears a white headguard.
Personality: Tends to seem easygoing and unconcerned, however is very observent and quick witted. Does not go looking for trouble, however that does not mean he won't stand up for what he believes. Displays the ability to lead but does not like to saying he's not ready for such a responsibility. Is very kindhearted and will not stand for evil, going as far as protecting an enemy from unnecessary torture from his fellow soldiers.
Histroy: Born illegitimately into the Fujii house the leader of a small town in the mid west of Japan. His mother died birthing him, do to his illegitimacy he was labelled by he's peers as Zasshuken ( mutt ). Quickly grasp mastery in the Fujii Lai Style and showing high levels of wisdom and witt. His treatment towards the townspeople earned there adulation and his house's hate. Many unsuccessful assassination attempts on his life failed do to their lack of ability and lack of creativity.
Two years after his fathers death, his brother Fujii Shuusuke now the new head of the Fujii house, managed to force Yori's hand to leave by accusing a boy Yori gave money to so he could buy medicine for his mother. Yori having nothing but the boy's and his word against the leader of the town an the guard who "over heard" the boy bragging about the stolen money. Made a deal to leave forever to serve the Azai Army in exchange for the boy to be set free. Shuusuke agreed and personally led Yori out of town and writing a letter of service to ensure Yori acceptance into Azai Army.
At the moment he has a small role as a corporal. He's respect by most of his fellows but officers ridicule him for not puttings his mind and talents to use.
