Claiming Suruga

[Takeda Shingen]

Type of Quest: Territory Claim
Quest Info: (After Battle of Okehazama) With Imagawa Yoshimoto dead, Suruga is left in disarray, and Lord Takeda Shingen decides to make a territory grab for it, and has sent four of his elite members to take down any remaining Imagawa troops, and claim half of Suruga for his own.
Location: The eastern half of Suruga, located beside Izu.
People Involved: Sanada Masayuki, Takeda Katsuyori, Mochizuki Chiyome, Sarutobi Sasuke, a squad of Takeda soldiers, and remnant Imagawa troops not killed during Okehazama.
Plot-Important: Board-wise, basically expanding Shingen's territory, and also "earning" the Musou's the four mentioned above possess.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

After the battle of Okehazama, Takehiro led the Amakusa forces onto Suruga as well, opting to take advantage of their deceased Daimyo and crumbling forces. Unaware of the Takeda advancing onto Suruga as well, he led his forces from Totomi, straight onto Western Suruga. He held a good amount of men with him, and was intent on getting things done quickly.

Unlike the Takeda, while Takehiro would be content with a half of Suruga, he was not looking to keep solely the Western side. He looked to take Suruga because of the access it gave him to Izu and, in turn, Sagami, so should he split the land he would claim the South as his own.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

Accompanying his lord to march towards Suruga, Ryunosuke, armed with his howitzer and armored to the teeth, was thinking about something. Before, they were belittled by the other factions because of their infancy, and they were constantly in fear of the Imagawa and the Kitabatake attacking. Now that the Daimyo had taken a portion of the Kitabatake lands and after that beautiful destruction of the numbers of the Imagawa, Ryunosuke was thinking that they were at the process of being the lords of whole Japan.

Ryunosuke was only accompanied with half of the elite soldiers from the Totomi militia. Being conscious of what might happen while they were gone, he left at Totomi the main body of the militia with the other half of the elite soldiers and the vice-commander of the Totomi militia Saito Yoshiaki. That force should be enough to guard against the advances of the bandit remnants in Totomi while they were away. His home-front secure, he marched confidently with his lord, but ready for anything that might happen.
