Personality: As Shi no Kage, the woman is cold an swift in her actions, doing her work without a moment's hesitation. If she is contracted to kill a target, she will do so with no questions asked. Megumi has a strong sense of duty and honor, and in the event she should fail her mission, she finds it best suited that she die, either by her own hand or her Lord's. In twenty years, she has never failed a mission.

When the mission is not her priority, Megumi is an incredibly kind woman, and a caring mother. She is loving and passionate, though strict when the situation calls for it.

History: Shi no Kage is a name that strikes fear into the hearts of many, as it was typically associated with Fūma Kotaro of the Hojo. The woman who holds this name is entirely deserving of it, bringing death and chaos in her wake. Her presence is never apparent until she is long gone, most easily identifiable with the death of a powerful man or woman. Little is known of her, and most can't even assume it's a woman, because none who have seen her have lived to tell of it.

Wakahisa Megumi is an ex-Hojo ninja, one of the ninja led by the infamous Fūma Kotaro. Her skills were all honed and perfected under his teaching, and as such she is an incredibly talented woman who has mastered the art of stealth. Her allegiances initially laid with the Hojo, until she met Amakusa Takehiro. The man was not one who piqued her interest upon first meeting, but his climb through Hojo ranks caught her attention, and the two often had to work side-by-side in a great number of Hojo battles. She developed a romantic interest in him, and was, at a time, his lover. Nine years ago (1551) she bore his child, though he currently has no knowledge of this.

Once Takehiro rose his own banner, Megumi had no qualms with abandoning the Hojo and taking her elite ninja with her. Her goal, now, is to assist the Amakusa in any and all endeavors, and fight at the side of the man she loves.

Personality: Chizuru is a woman of few words. There are none who can say they know anything about her, even among the ranks of the ninja elite. The only person she's ever opened up to is Megumi, her superior, and this was only on one occasion. Because of this, it's widely assumed she is a killer through-and-through, with little regard for human life. However, on several counts, she has shown compassion for her allies, despite her lack of words. Chizuru is truly a difficult woman to read.

History: Ex-Hojo elite, Chizuru served alongside Wakahisa Megumi in the ninja unit led by Fūma Kotaro himself. She established herself as a successful ninja, and her name is one of merit. She earned the name "Chi no Kaze" when she accepted a solo contract and entered an enemy castle, single-handedly slaying every soldier within. She came and left like the wind, and left nothing but the blood of her enemies behind.

Chizuru's reasons for fighting alongside the Amakusa are simple: Megumi does so, and Chizuru has a deep connection with her she's never felt with anyone else.

Personality: Ayumi is a light-hearted girl, despite growing up in a war-torn land and being thrown head-first into battle as soon as she was able. She tries to see the best in everything and everyone, though she is not naive by any means. Family is her everything, and her family is her unit. She'll do anything for them.

At times, Ayumi can butt heads with authority figures, because she's young and in her rebellious phase. This can occasionally cause problems, though, when it counts, Ayumi is someone who can be relied on.

History: First daughter of Wakahisa Megumi, though of no relation to Takehiro, and only half-sister to the son her mother bore of the Daimyo's seed. Due to her young age, Ayumi lacks the experience her mother and allies have on the field of battle, but being the child of the head of the ninja elite and a Hojo general blessed her with natural talent for combat and stealth. She quickly made a name for herself, and what short time she served in the Hojo forces she, too, was part of the Fūma elite.

On one particular battle, Ayumi earned the alias of "Konton no Kaze" when she was the sole reason for Hojo victory. Using her unique abilities, she turned the tide of battle and created chaos among the enemy ranks.

Personality: Shina relies heavily on her sense of smell, utilizing it over any other sense. Because of this, she is commonly referred to as a "Dog of War," which is essentially what she became.

Sensō no Inu is a cruel woman, showing no regard for humanity when she's out on a job. Unlike the rest of her squad, the killing is a game to her. A hunt. She toys with her prey, and takes pleasure in slaying them, often inflicting a single fatal wound on them before allowing them to run and then chasing them down. She tracks people through their scent, and it has even been said that she can smell the fear in the souls of her prey.

While she seems cruel in her entirety, Shina has a strong love for the women in her unit - a love that was rumored to break the boundaries of friendship itself, and delve into the romantic side of things.

History: Toda Shina, like the rest of her unit, is ex-Hojo elite. Despite not being the commander of her unit, she often followed her own rules and fought the battles she chose to, how she wanted to. Because of her skill, she was never regarded as a problem, and was instead seen as an asset to her army, and her unit. Her strange methods of stealth were highly effective, yet not commonplace, nor were they widely accepted, so while she was praised for her results, her methods were kept a secret.

Shina earned the title "Sensō no Inu" from her first kill, where she tracked a high-value target based on his scent alone.

Personality: Minji is a calm, quiet woman, who is capable of assessing any situation properly despite any stress they may cause. She is incredibly intelligent and quick, and her mind is set on duty most of the time. Because of this, she hardly ever comes off as friendly, which is a social issue of hers.

Despite being Toshi's half-sister, the two have absolutely no similarities other than their banner. He is also not considered her family, as she never met him until she joined up with the Amakusa. Her unit is her family, through-and-through.

History: Minji is an ex-Hojo Elite ninja, and half-sister to Yamada Toshi. She never met that side of her family, having fallen in with the Hojo at a young age. While Toshi's life centered around peace - and eventually thieving - hers centered around war and sabotage. Because of this, the two led very different lives that were not expected to coincide, and yet they did.

During Minji's time with the Hojo, she developed skills unmatched by many, aside from her squad, and earned the name "Pesuto no Kaze" from utilizing a tactic that resulted in an entire enemy force falling in, which paved the way for a Hojo victory. She was a very meritorious officer during her time with the Hojo, and the only reason she left was because Megumi wanted to turn to the Amakusa, and family had to stick together.

Appearance:

Personality: Despite having lost an eye, Kasai is an attractive woman and she knows this. It's something she flaunts given the need, and she will always use it to her advantage. Kasai is subtly seductive, and has used her "assets" to get out of a sticky difficult situation more than once. She is snide and conniving, often using her prey to get as much information as she can from them before she kills them.

Kasai cares deeply for those she works with, though she'll hardly show it. She sees each of them as sisters and would do anything for them, but these feelings are kept quiet.

History: Kasai, before becoming Hojo Elite, was a mercenary under the guise of a courtesan. She held no allegiance to any banner, hopping around from fief to fief for work and money through whatever means were necessary. Often she would find herself at brothels, staying in them for a short time as a "worker." The men who were cruel to her often never saw the light of day after their encounter, and she would typically line her pockets with whatever they owned. It was not uncommon for Kasai to be rich after a few of her encounters, but she never spent her money wisely, nor did she save any up.

When Kasai was 18, she found herself in a brothel in Sagami, Hojo territory. During this time, a Hojo officer tried to take advantage of her and she took his life, but only after he stabbed one of her eyes. The woman fought through the pain, as if she barely acknowledged it, going into a blind rage and stabbing his chest over and over for several minutes. She was then taken in by two other generals and brought to questioning, where her skills were assessed. She was then made a member of the Ninja Elite, and given the alias of "Winds of Change," due to her background and her prowess having turned the tide of several skirmishes and major battles.
