(OOC: For Masamune and Masahiro.)
Uesugi Kenshin stood before Numa Castle, a curious look on his face. He had heard from Hidenori that this place was indeed haunted as the rumors suggested, and being here and hearing the screams of the departed inside, it only proved them right even further. Kenshin managed to sneak away from his retainers, including the possessive Kasuga, and was now on his own. Donned in his full battle gear and his baseball cap on his head, the Lord of the Uesugi was more than ready to combat whatever lay inside the halls.
Opening the entrance to the castle, he peered inside. All he was met with were three pathways, and no indication to where they could possibly lead. He stood in the center of the entrance hall, peering interestingly at each door.

The doors to Numa Castle would fly right off of their hinges breaking into pieces. And why wouldn't it. I smirked as I swaggered right into the castle and sheathed the single katana I had used to destroy the door. I heard that some of my warriors had checked this place out and got serious power ups from it. So I decided to check all of this out.
"Date Masamune. Big Boss of Oshu, leveling Numa Castle to the ground."

I put my hand up to the door of the left path. It looked like the dungeon wouldn't allow me to enter it again. I heard a noise behind me, hearing someone enter, I turned to find myself face to face with another warrior, not quite sure who he was. I insinctively, put my left hand on the sheathe of my lightning katana, in case he was looking for a fight. But before I could even address him, the doors to Numa Castle were completely destroyed as yet another one came in. One eye... six swords... could he be? I didn't need to wait any longer because he decided to announce himself. I turned back to the other one, he bore the mark of Uesugi on his armor... I wondered if it was a general... or even the man himself.

Post by Mōri Motonari on Apr 8, 2014 12:20:05 GMT -7
There had been a group of traitors with incredibly valuable information fleeing Chugoku after killing a couple of retainers of Motonari in order to escape. The result was that Motonari had heard of this almost immediately. Because of the severity of the matter, he gathered a handful of his generals and they chased after the group. This was not something simple soldiers could handle. Motonari wouldn't allow it.
There was a point where they got close on their tails, but the groups split up into three, and Motonari ordered his generals to go after the larger group while he went after a lone man, the leader of them, apparently.
Anyhow, the chase went on for some time, horses and men glistening with sweat, and Motonari found himself someplace he would never go himself. There were screams and this startled the other man's horse, who immediately halted, reared, and ran off. The man fell off and was trying to scramble from Motonari, who glared at him with furiously cold eyes. Lord Mori jumped off of his steed, removing his sword.
As he went forward, the daimyo stated, "You have a choice. Either commit seppuku here and now, or I will end your miserable life where you stand, or lay. It matters not to me, scum."
The man panicked and jumped to his feet, unsheathing his sword and charging Motonari, who simply narrowed his eyes.
"Fool."
With a swing, the other man's head went flying. He hadn't a chance from the start. Wiping off the blade to remove the crimson blood, Motonari finally glanced up and his brows furrowed. Was this... Numa castle? He was already at the entrance, frowning, his hands moving to his hips. There were three other men, two of which wore the mon of Uesugi and Date. One was one-eyed, and there was no doubt that he was Date Masamune, and the appearance of the other man within the castle, his garb, and how he carried himself made Motonari suspect he was Uesugi Kenshin. The other, well... Motonari wasn't really sure who he was, nor did he care. After he looked them all over, taking in everything that he could, Motonari glanced behind himself.
To go back and go forward? His horse was gone, scared away by the supernatural screaming, and his cold, calculating eyes moved back to the castle and other persons. What choice did he really have?

Kenshin's eyebrows rose curiously, the tranquility of the place destroyed by a rather rambunctious man. So this was the Daimyo of the Date clan, hmm? Turning his head, he noticed a man who he had previously cast his glance over near one of the entrances. It seemed he was unable to get in, perhaps it was locked? Turning around, he spotted another man, the Mon of the Mori visible on his armor too... could he really be...?
"It seems we have quite the group here." The Lord of the Uesugi spoke with amusement. Neither of these two Daimyo were ones he had any sort of ordeal with, but it paid to keep his guard up nonetheless.

[[OoC: Words spoken in /slashes/ like that are spoken in English.]]
I looked between the three other men discerning them to be Uesugi Kenshin, Mori Motonori, and some other guy from their clothing and weapons. I smirked as I stepped up slightly.
"Yeah... looks like one hell of a /party/."
I unsheathed a single katana as I looked between them all and pulled myself into my stance. I shifted my right leg back and bent it at the knee slightly, leading with my left. My left arm formed a ninety degree angle holding the sword closer to the bottom of the hilt while my right arm was held behind my left with my hand holding the sword closer to the cross guard.
"/You ready boys/?"

This wasn't good... if these warlords got into a fight and I was dragged in with them... There was no way I would be able to make it out alive. Not unless I used that technique... and even then it wasn't a guarantee that I would make it out. I quickly decided to give them a reason to keep me alive.
"I've been through this dungeon before. I can help you guys navigate through the dungeon with minimal damage."

Lord Mori almost begrudgingly stepped forward, but saw that he had little other choice. It was either explore this place and possibly get something out of being all of the way out here, or stand around and wait for his generals to come find him or his horse returned, which was doubtful. A heavy, irritated sigh released from the man's lips, and he rested his ring blade on his armored shoulder.
"Mm," responded Motonari simply to Kenshin, closing his eyes and inhaling. At hearing Date speak, Motonari's gaze slid over to him, and his brows raised. Was he speaking... English? Being the highly educated man that he was, Lord Mori understood the man's words, and his expression was disapproving. After years of conflicts and kidnappings, and constant hard work to bring the Mori clan up to where it was today after starting out so tiny and weak, Motonari's sense of humour practically evaporated, growing serious and cold simply out of need. Now to the point where it was quite natural.
Party? Really? And then the last word...
He said in their native tongue, "Boys?"
Lord Mori's expression was a deadpan and he scoffed, instantly striding forward, going ahead of where Kenshin was (and consequently ignoring Yuy because psh peasant I'm sorry. He's so mean </3), "I have been daimyo of the Mori clan since you were an infant, and helping rule through advising since before you were born. You would do well to remember that, /boy/. Freya: -says in best Mori voice- Because I'm a colossal dick, lolololol"
Yeah. Use English to make yourself come across as a bigger dick. Okay, Mori. Yeesh. >.>; xD He would stop and say after a huff of breath, glancing back towards them, dark eyes cool, tone solemn (voice trailing off with the last sentence, speaking more to himself than them), "Now which direction? I would rather press on without further delay. I might as well get something out of this trip and that traitor scum..."

Kenshin sighed as Motonari began to chastise Masamune. It seemed the Daimyo of the Mori had a temper, and definitely contrasted the hot-blooded Daimyo of the Date. This group would be a most interesting, albeit likely incompatible squad. It's not every day you got the fight alongside other Daimyo as an ally... or what he hoped to be allies, anyway. If worst came to worst, the God of War figured he'd just cut them down and be on his merry way.
"So we all get along. Peachy." Kenshin mused with a cheerful smile. "That said, since the young dragon is so pumped up... I say we go that way." He pointed his large sword towards the right wing. If Masamune was so pumped up and facing the middle chamber, may as well go a completely different direction just because Kenshin could do just that.

"Sounds good to me."
I wasn't able to enter the left and the center paths when I tried earlier.... I only hoped that the right would not be completely sealed off to me as well. I hoped I wouldn't outlive my usefulness in that path. I did have my secret weapon in case. I had to pretend that I knew everything about this place. Otherwise one of these warlords might get pissed off and decide they don't want to deal with me. I kept my katana sheathed as I followed Kenshin to the right path, keeping my left hand on the sheathe.

Since I was an infant? Bitch I aint even born yet.
My eye focused on Mori and I allowed a little bit of electricity to surge from my right hand into my sword as I smirked. His passive aggressive tone... Was really starting to piss me off. I was about to tell that Sun-Fetished Freak to step off when the wise words of Kojuro came in my head though it sounded like it came from the very castle itself.
"Lord Masamune! Are you strike forward to advance? Or are you striking out of anger?"
I looked around, wondering if the others heard the voice as well. I sighed, quelling my anger and stepped forward in front of the others in front of the door the pretty-boy pointed to. I slashed the door on the right, attempting to break it off of it's hinges and force my way into the right wing.

Lololololol xDDDD
The One-Eyed fool was smirking, and Motonari narrowed his eyes in the slightest, hand moving to the hilt of Amaterasu's sword. He noticed the spark and the bubbling anger slowly rising up, but it calmed, and the daimyo's fingers brushed off of the hilt. More prone to listen to who Motonari saw as the non-idiot, in silence he moved towards where Kenshin pointed. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at Masamune's actions.
Boys will be boys, right? Young men his age really were such show-offs, it seemed. Motonari never had time for such behavior with being thrust into the role of an adviser and then daimyo at such an early age, and so he simply released a huff of breath and followed, dark eyes scanning everything Lord Mori possibly could.
