Kouketsu stumbled upon an unknown region of Japan. It was a regular old plain. The grass was green and surrounding it were hills upon hills of plains. It wouldn't be hard to see anyone coming from the front. From the back he obviously wouldn't see them unless he turned around. Alas, Kouketsu was there merely to be there. He didn't know why, but he preferred this region of Japan more than the wilderness he had passed by earlier. It was nice and calm. Not the constant screams of war. Kouketsu looked upon the region of Japan he was currently stationed in. He didn't know of the name, or even why he was there. Since his father'a death, he hadn't really had a real purpose. Yes he wanted to be the strongest in Japan, but he had no other incentive then that. He stood under the Name of the Mōri and fought beside them. Yet, that was all he had. He had no other family to go to, no other goal in life. It made him annoyed sometimes to think what else he would do in life. In fact, it made him pissed that Japan went into a feudal state anyways. Constant fighting, forever needing someone to pull in the reigns on this country. Of course Kouketsu would rise up, but that was all. Was that all it was going to ever be? Kouketsu peered along the unknown land and held an emotionless face. He looked serious and slightly annoyed. Even if his wooden fan seemed so unlike him. It was what his father used, it was what he had been trained with. No other weapon suited him so well. He had been trained with a katana as well, but he never really used it as much as his war fan. At the moment, it wouldn't stand as much against a weapon made of metal, but it really didn't matter much. He wasn't trusted with a real weapon yet, so be it. He would show Japan who would run the nation.

“Death, the refuge, the solace, the best and kindliest and most prized friend and benefactor of the erring, the forsaken, the old and weary and broken of heart." ---Mark Twain .::At this point in her life there was few things that Kitana truly found some kind of solace in. The crashing of the waterfall against the rocks. The pitter patter of the rain. Water was a constant in her existence as well was the green scenery she could currently be found in. There was a certain kind of serenity to plain that she laid in. The feel of the grass underneath her toned form. The gently air brushing through her clothes and hair. The sun kissing her tanned skin. It was a desirable moment in time that was hard to come by. War had been damaging the lands and it's beauty for some time now. Blood staining the earths natural beauty. But who was this mixed beauty to talk about such times. She helped add to the crimson liquid that seeped into the ground. Though it would be wrong to say that the warring going on was only being fought physically. What about the mental? There must've been plenty of individuals that were having an internal battle within themselves that was equal if not greater to the outer appearance of the war those Daimyo's were creating. Kitana was one of these individuals dealing with an internal war of her own on top of the war she declared against her former husband::.
.::It was rare for her to allow herself to bathe in these kinds of moments. To feel this comfort. But she needed to maintain ways to keep her sane. Keep her from swaying fully into the darkness that was ever surrounding her being. She couldn't allow it to fully take over her soul. She would be no better than Saburo if she did and that was never an option. The clashing over the lands was truly of no concern to her. She couldn't see herself aligning with any of them, even if their intentions was seemingly good and noble, she had her own situation to worry about. Despite the strong desire to repay Saburo for everything there was a part of her at times that thought about her own death. How much would she welcome it just to be with her son again? Everything she was doing now was to avenge her son, but with a year having gone by with no word on where Saburo could be was irritating. But despite her seldom thoughts of accepting death she pressed on with more inner fury boiling inside. Her brows began to frown a little as she was ruining her own serene moment with painful thoughts. With a sigh she shifted a little pulling one leg up while leaving the other still flat. The sun catching the glassiness of her mother's necklace causing it to glisten more than likely if someone was around it would be noticeable as she was laying just a little bit up on one of the hills. Not to far from the base of it. Something odd about her though was the lone black arrow that laid next to her. The tip covered in cloth yet there was no bow with her::.
.::Though she was seemingly alone in truth she hardly ever was. She let her horse, Kage, roam about somewhere knowing he'll return in due time. Horus was off flying about enjoying the wind beneath his wings. Somewhere in the back of her mind sure she was a bit worried for their safety but they couldn't be too far and they were both pretty tough animals. Her chest slowly moved up and down with each calming breath pulling her into a meditative state as her hands rested behind the head for support. She honestly expected to find no one really roaming these parts currently. But life has it's surprises no?::.

This land was quite nice, it was the perfect place to either relax, meditate or practice honing your skills. That is why shin was walking around this area, as he felt the wind blow through his silver colored hair, he could see what looked like a big flying over head. Shin did not really care for it because its just a bird its not like someone would actually have trained one. Shin let out a deep sigh of relief as he swiftly pull out his sword but because of the quite nature of this land the sound was echoed through the wind. shin sat down and grabbed a small grain of grass as he rubbed it against the blade to check its sharpness. shin then laid the sword out on the ground examining it. " i really need to find new materials for a new weapon or get more money......... tough choice. " shin said smiling as he leaned back laying stretched out on the ground, no one will disturb me here, since this is most likely neutral territory. hynsOmS5

Kouketsu caught a glimpse of something in his perepheal vision as he observed the calming area. The wind flowed around and even rustled his hair a bit. Indeed one would have to marvel at such a beautiful scenery apart from the wars and not destroyed by them either. Kouketsu focused on that little glimpse he had and noticed it was something shiny. As Kouketsu approached the shiny material, he noticed it was actually just another person with a necklace. Another person in these lands. "How unfortunate," the fair haired individual responded. He confidently strolled towards the shiny necklace and noticed it wasn't a man, but a woman. It wasn't very common to see woman fighting wars men brought upon the land. Kouketsu knew that women had specific reasons in joining wars, debt and revenge. Either something happened to them in the past, or they inherited their drunk father's economic status and was forced to work in an army. Regardless, Kouketsu strolled continuously towards the girl, a chink and clank with every step he took. He could clearly be heard but he didn't necessarily care either. Before long he was standing over top the girl, looking down at her. "Before you attack me and so on, what is a beautiful lady like yourself doing in these war torn lands? Even if you are an enemy of mine, I'd prefer if we enjoyed the moment rather then taint it with our blood." Kouketsu could be clearly heard, speaking in confidence and without hesitation. He wasn't willing to die right there if the woman happened to be hostile. He may fight back, he may just run. You pick your battles, no one can become powerful in one day.

Shin still was examining his sword and practicing the movements taught to him by his father. Right as he was about to thrust his blade, he heard the clink and clank of armor. Shin stopped and sheathed his blade. Hearing this got shin wanting to find out what or who the armor belonged too. Shin walked closer and closer which anyone could hear if they listened carefully, to an opened field, he stood right at the edge of it seeing two people. One male stand above a female. Shin looked at the girl from his distance not recognizing her to any other fraction but the male he reminded him of either a oda member or a mori member. With this in mind he did not care who was an enemy it was a peaceful place to be he didn't think anyone would ruin that. " hello there, i come in peace i don't intent to fight anyone!! " Shin yelled out to them.
