The full moon shone brightly in the midnight sky as a long-haired person, clad in black except for the steel chestplate sewn on his outfit and wearing a black mask, was watching a man from the roof of a house. A dissenter of the Date, a merchant who had been transacting with a lot of factions all across the land, was found in Sagami, and the person had caught wind of the news of his whereabouts, and so the person was watching the person from afar, taking note of everything that he did. Enough information was needed for Lord Masamune to prosecute the merchant for treason, since it was known that the merchant had a lot of shady dealings within and without Oshu. The person had followed the merchant into Joetsu, Kofu, and Kotsuke and always failed without any information good enough to be noteworthy. Maybe this time there would be a surprising thing uncovered, and the mission would be a success.

Sharp blue eyes cast their view upon the scene before him. The information he had received proved accurate. 'The Crow' had been careful to leave no hint that he followed his buyer toward a meet he greatly anticipated. A shipment of foreign weapons and other items looked down upon by many.
However this shinobi wasn't here to try and collect any more information, nor was he here to apprehend anyone. Kazhima Masaru was looking to increase his own stockpile. At this point in time he was scrambling to acquire as much wealth and equipment he could. For he would lead dark days to come.
Soon enough a his target would arrive. Overlooking the cart full of his precious cargo, the dark brown haired ninja would cast those careful eyes around the area once again. Masaru knew that he was hidden from view, the shadows shrouding the Hojo nin as observed. The two men would begin to speak and for now he would ignore what he thought was the glint of sunlight on metal a few rooftops away.
Masaru would simply wait to hear conversation and confirmation of his target before he would move in. Both people would have to be neutralized, the azure eyed spy couldn't risk it. Once he heard the two men exchange words about wares, Kazhima Masaru would react.
They stood a mere couple feet away from each other and he would let the die that way. Kicking off the roof top, Masaru would soar through the air landing upon his left foot only to kick off and touch with his right once more as he leaped forward between the two men. It had almost been like he materialized from the shadows, a Hojo specialty.
As the man blurred between the men, his right hand already grasping the handle of his double ended staff. Pressing its button, the hand would extend at each side, plunging the blades into the faces of both man as 'The Crow' zipped by.
Upon foot connection after the attack, he would bound upward again, catching the side of a building before deftly pulling himself up and onto the rooftop to recon the area before he claimed his take.

Now it was happening, and the long-haired person was grateful that he stayed up late to see this. The man he was tailing was meeting with another person, and it seemed that the person was an arms dealer, having brought with him lots of weapons and armor. He would not let this go to waste. Once the two people exchange transactions with one another, he would take both of their receipts and contracts to be presented to Lord Masamune so that the merchant would be prosecuted with treason, and he would get his reward to buy him some new clothes.
But as he watched and waited for the two to exchange transactions, some shadow happened to flow between the two men. Before he could react however, the two men, the merchant and the arms dealer, were struck on their foreheads, blood and brains splattering across their heads as they fell down, unable to stand up again as they writhed in pain, their feet kicking helplessly on the ground until they breathed their last. Although he was happy that another threat to the Date ignominously fell down, his target being killed before he had extracted more information from him visibly irritated him. He then set his sight on the shadow that bounded itself towards another roof, or should he say, a man that could take advantage of the shadows.
He then moved towards the shadow man, bounding from the roof where he had watched the one who he was tailing, to the roof where the shadow man was on, his boots landing on the roof with little sound. He then would be within five paces from the other shinobi. He then said, in a voice only audible by the other person, "What do you really want to accomplish?"

Masaru heard the feet land behind him. His senses were sharp. However the Hojo ninja would not have shown he knew. Instead up until he heard Haruyuki speak, he simply continued looking over the scene below.
"My ambitions are none of your concern.."
It wasn't until the last word slipped from the shinobi's mouth, that he turned to place those azure blue hues upon the one nearby. Maybe he was right earlier after all, when he had thought he saw someone near by.
"What business do you have here, outsider? You have no authority here.."
Filthy stain of a man.. Who does he think he is?
While Hojo shinobi made no aggressive movements, the tone in his voice didn't sound very welcoming at all. Masaru's right hand still held the handle of his double bladed staff, the fine edges glinting in the moonlight as he held it at his side.
