Let's Make It Shinrai Castle [Dungeon|Closed]

[Shinrai Sagi]

Sagi had heard of the rumors surrounding Numa Castle, and was naturally drawn to them. As he headed through the swamps of Satsuma, the screams he could hear seemed to confirm at least one of them, and they made him frown. Though, if those were true, that likely meant the riches were there as well.

"Well, let's see... which way do you think we should go first, Brother?" Sagi would ask as he proceeded into the entrance of the castle. The three paths were in front of them. All that was left to do was decide.

Numa Castle. So the place wasn't a complete load of bull. Sakkaku heard the screams that came from the castle, wondering just what lay inside. But with his brother there, he was certain that there was nothing that the two of them couldn't handle. They survived all of this world's hells together, and they could survive the hells of another world as well.

Placing his mask on his face, Sakkaku began to scan the various doors, amused that he had gotten nothing in return. He looked at Sagi just in case to make sure his mask wasn't busted, but he could see his brother's vitals just fine.

"Curious... I'm not picking anything up. I say... we go left."

He would walk over and push the left door open, if his brother had no objections.

As Sakkaku approached the door on the left, it would rip open with a load shriek. The Shinrai brothers would be pulled in by a powerful dark energy, thrown to the floor and locked in. The doorway would be sealed off by a dark void that they could not get through if they tried.

Sagi and Sakkaku would find themselves in a large chamber, about ten yards wide and one-hundred yards long. It was empty for the most part, with a single chest at the far end.

"Strange, but of course -" Sagi began, interrupted by the dark energy that pulled the two into the room. He was startled, falling to the ground rather hard, though the pain was hidden in shock. This place... there was definitely something wrong with it.

"So there is treasure," he started as he stood back to his feet, dusting himself off. "But it can't be there unguarded..."

Taking a knee, both of Sagi's hands would fall to the floor. Closing his eyes, the Shiroyasha would take in the entirety of the room. If there were traps, he would locate them without a problem, and he would direct Sakkaku where to go without coming to any harm whatsoever.

"I'll pick up the traps. Go on, if you're about to hit any, I'll tell you."

"... Hmph. That was certainly weird..."

Sakkaku stood to his feet, dusting himself off. He looked over across the room, seeing the Daimyo's treasure chest. Perhaps he chose right in picking this path, or perhaps... the Daimyo had more treasure than just this one chest?

Nodding at Sagi's words, he would run across the chamber. He would be sure to avoid any and all traps under Sagi's command, knowing that his brother would be able to see everything. If he was about to hit any, he would side step or jump over them. If he tripped and fell for any reason, he would be sure to fall in a safe zone.

His goal was to grab the Daimyo's chest and make it back without a hitch.

Through Sagi's guidance, Sakkaku would be capable of making it to the end of the chamber successfully, though he would not do so unscathed. Arrows would shoot out from slits in the walls and catch him in the sides of his arms and legs, but no serious damage would be done. As he made it back to the entrance, the void would open right back up and the same dark energy from before would pull the two forcefully into the entrance, knocking to the ground again, but this time in a safe zone!

The traps room would seal off with a loud shriek, the darkness erupting into a beam of light. Once it was gone, a large steel door was left in the way, and if they tried to get past it, it would be impossible. Neither brother would be able to detect anything behind it. But, they had the treasure!

As Sakkaku got the chest and took it to the entrance, the two would be ripped out of the chamber just as quickly as they were pulled into it. Again, he was rather surprised, but if it was going to keep happening it was something he'd need to get used to.

"Brother, are you alright?" he asked as he recovered, observing Sakkaku's wounds. They did not appear to be much, but still. He did not know if they were poison-coated arrows, or anything even worse.

Once he was sure Sakkaku was okay, he would help his brother to his feet and proceed toward the right chamber.

Being flung into the main chamber again, Sakkaku grimaced, but held the chest up with a sort of pride showing in his face. They got it with relatively no danger. Examining himself, he found that he was cut up a bit, but nothing too serious... he hoped that those close encounters wouldn't come around too often, but all it took was a single arrow to take him out of commission, even with his brother's guidance. Luckily, he didn't seem to be poisoned.

"... I'm fine. Do not worry, brother."

He would tuck the chest away behind a pillar for safety before following his brother to the right wing, curious about what lay behind the door.

Much like the room before, the right chamber would pull the two brothers in with a dark energy that would seal off behind them! They would be in a strange room, with two paths to choose from! They could turn left, or go forward and right!

Proceed through the maze, find the Daimyo chest and return it to the entrance.
Do not lose a member to traps or monsters.]

"Hmm... multiple paths. Wait, Brother."

Sagi would, like before, place both of his hands on the ground. He would try to read the entirety of the room to find just what lay inside, and which path to follow.

Again, they'd find themselves pulled into the wing by a mysterious force, so Sakkaku was not surprised. Though it was something he felt he could never get used to. Landing on his feet, he would watch as his brother tried to discern the contents of this maze, while he scanned the paths with his mask, trying to see what lay beyond. At present, he could scan no lifeforms...

"This could take some time..."

Sakkaku would find nothing in the walls or behind them. The lack of traps should be comforting.

Sagi would find that the room was indeed a maze. Several enemy life forms could be detected, a few traps here and there, treasure chests, and voids in numerous locations. As far as he could tell, straight was the proper direction to take. Were they to go left, they were likely to find treasure, but encounter monsters. The area was secluded, however, and they could go left and then return to go straight.

"Straight is our goal. Left reaps more rewards. I say we go left." Sagi would stand to his feet, feeling slightly woozy after that information gain, but it would be exceedingly helpful. Sagi would proceed to the left his shield at the ready, war fan in the other hand. If something came at him, he would be ready for it, as he'd have seen it coming.

"Indeed. We may come out of this rich men... or at least, powerful ones."

Sakkaku would follow along near his brother, slightly behind him as he didn't have a shield of his own. He would pull his chain out, having it rolled up like a whip, ready to be swung if they ran into anything. His eyes would pick them out before they were attacked, he hoped.

As the twins turned the corner, Sagi would feel feet slam into his shield and propel him backward! The figure that kicked him would land, spinning around and backhanding Sakkaku forcefully enough to knock him to the ground! A blade ripped out from its gauntlet, and it charged at Sagi, looking to decapitate him!

Sagi would stumble backward a little, aware of the enemy but surprised by its speed. As it charged at him, he would duck, swinging his shield up at the bottom of its arm. The impact would be explosive, and, if he was successful, he would ram the blade of the shield into its chest and rip it outward.

Whether or not he was successful, Sagi would back up and assume a defensive stance, in case he was incapable of defeating his opponent.

Sakkaku fell backwards as he was backhanded in the face, glad that his mask took some of the blow and grunting in pain as he looked up at the beast that struck at him. His eyes widened a bit, but he could examine this creature later on if they had spare time.

He would quickly swing his chain like a whip at the creature, his whip coming down vertically. He would pull the trigger on his chain, causing an explosion upon impact. If the creature grabbed at his chain, he would detonate the monster's arm, or if it was avoided, Sakkaku would swing that whip back around in an attempt to blow the creature to hell.

Sagi was able to blow its one arm off, and it reared in pain, reaching for Sakkaku's chain with the other arm. As it exploded, that arm was blown off as well, and it kicked back at the two, sending them flying into a wall. As it stood, bleeding, another Rogue popped up from behind it, charging the group with two hook blades in either hand!

Before the second enemy could charge, Sagi would rip his fan in front of himself, sending a powerful gust of wind at the Rogue in front. The aim of the gust was to slam one into the other, leaving them open for an attack from Sakkaku.

"Let's end this quickly!"

"Right."

Sakkaku would recover as quick as he could from the enemy strike. As Sagi sent the enemies flying back, Sakkaku would act before they even fell backwards. Swinging his chain above him, he would bring it down on both rogues as they landed in a heap. If this did not kill them, he would keep swinging at them, exploding the chain every single time until they died.

Sagi would slam the two into each other, and Sakkaku would destroy them with relative ease! They lay in a heap together, with lootable items glistening!

If they continued down the path, they would have four paths!
1) Left!
2) Forward!
3) Right and then right again!
4) Right and then left!
