The Amakusa's ships would gentle slid across the water, bobbing up and down underneath those on board. The trip would have been long, but better on the men then marching through hostile territories would have been. Out in the distance, the shape of the city of Shima, on the land could be seen coming into view. However it was not the city itself that drew the eye of those on board the Amakusa ships. It was the harbour, and in front of them Ships of the Kitabatake own.
It was pretty much impossible to see what was happening with the ships, as they were being loaded. However before the Amakusa would reach the shore, the ships in unison would unfurl sails. The banner of the Kitabatake flying on one of the ships. Slowly but purposefully the ships would head out of harbour towards the Amakusa's. 5 ships in a V shaped formation, with the 6th, the one flying the banner, coasted safely behind the ship line. As the ship would come closer the V would fan out slightly, and it would become obvious that the ships decks were lined with men.

Takehiro himself led a fleet of nine ships, in a V formation just like the Kitabatake's. Before the enemy force had acted, Takehiro set himself in the seat of one at the front, shutting his eyes and taking in a grand view of the battlefield. He could see what was happening as it was, from the eyes of his men, and even the enemy soldiers. He directed the formation to invert so it was as /\ instead of a V, and then the ships on the outside would flatten, their side cannons having clean shots at the enemy ships. Thirty-two cannons would fire from six of his ships, while the three in the center fired chain shots at the sails.
Takehiro kept a large shroud of darkness around his fleet as this all happened, as he could do little to actually help while he used this power.

A hail of cannonballs, and chain shot would fly trough the air towards the Kitabatake ships. However those from the ships farther back would fall short, while those from the ships father ahead would hit into a couple of the ships. The sides of the ship would buckle, on one of the ships. The ship jerking violently and throwing men off the deck and into the water below, but the ship seemed to be built of study enough stuff to take the few cannon balls that had hit it.
The chain shot seemed to have more effect, and two of the ships would have balls and chain strike into the mast. On one of the ships it cleanly cut the mast in half shattering wood and falling into the water knocking men into the water on the way down. While the other had its sails caught and ripped clean of the mast, tangling around people and dragging them over board. The two crippled ships would use what momentum they had left to turn, coming to a halt but baring there own cannons at the Amakusa ships and firing. While the reasonable okay ships, would power forward picking up speed, trying to get ahead of the Amakusa's cannons aim and close the gap. The men on the deck all raising rifles ready to open fire at the Amakusa solider on the deck, once they got close.

For all the shots heading toward Takehiro's ships, the dark barrier would serve as a shield, taking the brunt of all that did not miss entirely. Were he any other man, Takehiro would be already incredibly worn down, but he was doing very little physically, so he could manage.
Having a superior method of directing his troops than any Kitabatake soldier (he was sure he did, of course. No other man in the country had the far-seeing eye), Takehiro would direct the ships to begin circling the Kitabatake fleet, while still keeping enough distance to prevent rifle fire but insure cannon fire. Six ships would reload their cannons, unleashing another 32 each on the Kitabatake fleet (192 cannon balls in total), while three at the vertex of the formation would unleash more chain shots for the remaining ships' sails.

The Amakusa ships quickly moved to surround the enemy ships, still keeping cannon aimed at the foe. Takehiro 'unique' ability making leading easy. More cannonballs like before would fire out at the Kitabatake. Another ship would have it's mast ripped asunder, while yet another took a slew of cannonballs to the hall damaging it badly. A roar of frustration sounded out from the banner ship in response.
The 3 ships that could still move, turned as well form a circle inside the Amakusa ships, and fired there own cannon back as best they could. While on the banner ship the source of the shout of anger, quickly pulled up a insanely long rifle and quickly ran forwards. Grabbing some rigging he swung up with the large weapon and landed atop the mass of his own ship.
Bringing the rifle down to aim, he fired down at the helmsmen of one of the Amakusa ships. While it seemed that they were out of ranged, the large rifle seemed purposely designed for extremely long engagements, even having a small spy glass attached to it to help with aiming. In turn Kanematsu, the wielder of the rifle would reload and fire at one after another of those controlling the Amakusa ships. Something to delay them reacting long enough for his ships to fire more effectively upon them.

Much like the last round of fire, Takehiro's shroud of darkness would prevent the Kitabatake shots from connecting, especially the rounds from the rifles as they were much weaker. With the fleet surrounded, every single one of Takehiro's ships would fire 32 cannons at the enemy (282 in total). The one he was on, and the two closest, would fire mortar rounds for the center ship.
Immediately after this tactic was completed, Takehiro would open his eyes, losing the view of the battlefield, but keeping the shroud around his ships up. The Daimyo would charge across his ship, leaping from his own to the closest Kitabatake ship, letting his doppelganger loose before hopping to another himself. The two would ram their explosive fists into the decks, and then into the hulls of the ships to take them out of commission. If and when they were successful, they would hop to the next closest ships and repeat as much as they could, as quickly as possible.

The cannons greater in number now, had more effect on the enemy ships. Screaming and shouting. Random return fire from there own cannons and the rifle me alike. While other leap over board. In order to escape the increasingly damaged ships. The mortar rounds would come down upon the banner ship. Causing more harm to the troops on board the ship itself but still doing damage to the ship itself.
But the assault wasn't over, as Takehiro would leap through the air, and landing on a ship before heading to the next leaving the doppelganger behind. Each would slam a explosive fist into the ship on which they stood. Pretty much snapping the ships into, and taking the ground completely out form underneath them in a instant. Causing both of them to fall through the hole they had just created, and into the inside of the now rapidly sinking ships. Water pouring in from the sides and quickly surrounding them.
Back outside, Kanematsu could see the turn in the battle from bad to much much worse. With a shouted order, his ship started to turn and head back the way it came. Kanematsu, firing upon every man he could aboard the Amakusa ship that would block there way in a attempt to escape back to the coast.

Takehiro's doppelganger would dissipate in the water, and he would shoot out his whip-fists to catch a wall of the sinking ship he was in before it was fully underwater. From there, he would pull himself toward the wall, before kicking off of it with incredible power, and landing on one of his own ships. Shaking some of the excess water off, Takehiro would then leap all the way across the water and land on the banner ship with the Kitabatake fleet's leader. Darkness would soon spread all over the ship, crushing every man it touched besides Takehiro himself.
"The men of Totomi send their regards."
From there, every single Amakusa ship would fire on the four remaining Kitabatake ships without relenting, until they all sunk. Their Daimyo would be safe, regardless of the ship he was on getting hit.

Takehiro escape worked with ease and he landed on the banner ship. Atop the mast, Kanematsu turned at the sound of him landing. Trying to bring his weapon round to fire, however the sudden destructive darkness took him by surprise. Losing his footing the man fell. His weapon slipping from his grip and tumbling to the floor as he slammed into the deck of the boat. Staggered and dazed, their was little that he could to fight back against the darkness surrounding him and his men.
Back out on the ocean, the rest of the Kitabatake ships seeing the display of destruction and darkness claiming the banner ship. Turned to run as well, fear driving them. However the superiors positioning and numbers of the Amakusa ships cannons. Would finish off the rest of the Kitabatake ships, with another two volleys of cannonballs. Out ahead was the harbours of Shima. Dwindling day light, making the numbers of torches and lanterns in the harbour and city more obvious to those on the Amakatsu ships.

Taking the Kitabatake fleet commander by his head, Takehiro would leap to one of his own ships, throwing the man to the floor. "Tie him up. Tightly. Bind his arms and legs together, and gag him." From there, he would seat himself for a moment, once again using the far-seeing eye. He would direct his troops to approach the mainland, the shores of Shima. Once the order was given, his eyes would open, and he would strike first himself.
Leaping unbelievably far, Takehiro would go from his ship to Kitabatake shores, fire glaive in hand.
"Warriors of Kitabatake! Stand and face the men of Totomi, or surrender, and see your fief bear the banner of the Amakusa!"

Takehiro would fly through the air, his boots allowing him to do what would normally seem impossible. As Tak grew closer the flames of torches revealed a combination of ready archers and riflemen on nearby roof tops. However the harbour and nearby street were empty of people, lined with wooden detritus, barrels and crates. A single man would notice him approaching in the sky, and would point up with a shout. Archers and rifle would be aimed up at at Takehiro, as Takehiro himself would come downward.
Arrows and bullets would fill the air, not all of the archers and rifles had reacted in time but enough that a wave of possible death would fly at him. Only if he managed to survive the barrage, and land unharmed would Takehiro get to demand the Kitabatake surrender.

Any or arrows bullets that would make their way toward Takehiro, the Demon of Totomi would block with a shroud of darkness around himself, allowing them to fall to the ground, useless. He would continue his march, and his words would have rung out loud and clear.
"If you truly believe you have a fighting chance, then come and face me!"
A dark version of Takehiro poured out from the front of himself, standing now at his side. The ships would also make their way to dock. He would raise the shroud enough so that any attacks they sent toward his fleet would do little to no harm at all.

While the display of Takehiro surviving the barrage of arrows and bullets unscathed was shocking sight, and the idea of fighting the man filled them with fear. Loyalty and a desire to protect there home from the invaders held most of them strong. A couple archers on one roof however felt this was stupid. The threw their bows off the roof before running away.
Now on the ground Takehiro would noticed something odd in addition to no ground forces being present. The barrels and crate seemed to have a pattern to them. A barrel would be behind a crate, the crate seemingly filled with broken glass or shards of metal that could be spared. While each of the barrels seemed to the a small white string connecting them, and increase in number as the moved through each barrel away from the dock. All of the strings turning off into a alley much father ahead of him.
However Takehiro wouldn't have long to act the information, as those men on the roofs brought there weapon down to aim once more, and opened fire over and over in order to pin Takehiro down, as his men moved into dock and not long after would probably start walking in to the harbour and streets after that.

As the men on the roof seemed to be aiming only at Takehiro and not his men, he would bring the shield around only himself, and wait until the first wave of fire was over. Once it was, he would charge a good deal of energy into the shield, turning it into a dark bomb, flinging it into the nearest group of archers. Immediately after, Takehiro would pull out his explosive bolts on his crossbow, and fire on two rooftops to take out the crowds.
Dark Takehiro would investigate the traps, because seeing as he had no physical form, he could not be killed! Until the traps were thoroughly investigated, he would not allow his men to leave the ships.

Both Takehiro dark blast and crossbow bolt would fly true causing serious destruction and loss of life on the enemy side. Investigating the trap, Takehiro would notice that the barrels were filled with gunpowerder, designed to make the items in the crate blast out like nail bombs if they ignited.
The archers and riflemen remaining would change there target to the ships, as nothing they seemed to do harmed Takehiro.

Given the Kitabatake merely used rifles on his ships, any damage they did was minuscule. Most shots would fall into the water, others chipped the wood. A few stray bullets would have even scratched some of his soldiers' arms, but that was about it.
Angered that his men were fired upon, Takehiro would make his doppelganger explode where he was, hopefully setting off any traps nearby himself. Takehiro would have then coated himself in his dark energy, protecting himself from any flying debris. He was going to kill these men here and now, and the fact that they booby-trapped the entire town meant any civilians had been evacuated.

The dark doppelganger would explode. The nearest barrel going with its, and causing a chain reaction that seemed larger then the original trap intended. Building of both side of the street of the harbour would be ripped apart. Archers and rifle men, on buildings other then those near the barrels still being taken with it. In a explosion of a mix of fire, light and darkness.
The immediate area clear, the path forward seemed clear except for the fire. The looming castle of Shima up ahead some marching distance down the main road.

Takehiro would tell his men to hold back, and he alone would approach the castle. The ships' cannons trained on it, Takehiro approached, the fire dissipating as it neared him due to his gift from Bishamonten. The elements could not harm him.
To speed up the process, Takehiro would leap from where he was to the entrance of the castle, kicking it open with a foot stronger than any beast in reality or myth. His dark shield would form around his body, and Takehiro would march in, arming his crossbow with two explosive bolts.
