Traits
Logistics: (E)D-S: The ability to keep track of troop supplies and movements both on land and on water and to keep troops fed, armed and armored and content. Improving ranks increases the amount of people one can move and supply and the distance over which he can keep track of them.
Strategic field: short: (E)D-S: The strategist can see the eb and flow of the fight close around him and is capable of 'seeing' it and directing it to his will with commands, minute movements and strategies. The strategist has difficulty with 'seeing' longer distances and directing troops in bigger numbers or with grander strategies. These strategists excel at melee and skirmishes in contained spaces. (Yukimura Sanada, Masamune Date,...)
Strategic field: medium: (E)D-S: The strategist has a larger overview of the battlefield but can neither direct minute detailed strategies or movements on the battlefield nor can he grasp the entirety of a kingdom's armies to see the full picture of things. These strategists excel at army combat on large fields and city defense or attack. (Masamune Date's Right eye of the dragon, Sakon Shima, Toyotomi Hideyoshi,...)
Strategic field: large: (E)D-S: The strategist can see the entirety of a kingdom, grasping movements of entire armies and directing his own to counter them. These strategists usually control multiple armies and movements on multiple fronts at the same time with ease. While he has a masterful grasp of the larger movements of armies he loses edge in small time skirmishes or even in fights between two armies. (Nobunaga, Shingen, Uesugi,...)
(One strategist can only have maximum of C rank in all three. Only one of the three can go higher than C. There is no turning back later. (like trial of the gods) This does not mean that one is completely incapable of directing troops at short range if one chooses long range, it is just easy for them to overlook things close by or more difficult for them to react to sudden changes)
I saw this in the Kingdom manga and I found it intriguing and interesting. Nobody can be good at everything.
Items
Normal clothing: I see people wearing full sets of Dark ranger armor of the ubergod while going for a snack with their best friends. And the shops lack any normal, every day clothing. I realize this is perhaps just a vanity thing and that most people will spend 95% of their time on battlefields on a forum like this but it would be nice to be able to wear outfits that don't consist of metal plates, spiky metal helmets, glasses that render dust immaterial and demon chariots.
Forum
I found it. So instead we should have an updated starter guide with a link to said matchmaker forum.
That's it for now. I had something else in mind but I can't remember it for now. I'll add it once I remember it. I realize most of these things are strategy related, which is more for characters like my own, but it seems only appropriate that there are traits and perks for people who do not want to get up close and duel it out with others. Settings like these lend themselves incredibly well to people looking to simply create a kingdom or fight large wars, rather than always have the one on one duels or skirmishes.
