Name: Chimosa Hake
Faction: Mercenary
Ethnicity: Japanese
Age: 24 years old
Gender: Male
Height: 156 cm
Weight: 62 kg
Eye Color: Black
Hair Color: Black
Appearance:
At first sight, Chimosa Hake is a very beautiful woman. Beautiful long black hair, a slim and lithe body, full lips, a gentle nose, soft skin, kind black eyes and a stunning smile. Hake is able to contest with the most beautiful women out there. But where biology is concerned Hake is a full blown man. His length, weight and his physique add to the misconception of his gender and even his voice is soft and flowing, lacking any and all masculinity. Whenever his gender is drawn into question, Hake has a tendency of neither confirming nor denying the question. Upon closer inspection, Chimosa Hake often has bags under his eyes and up close his skin is actually a very sickly pale, unlike the beautiful white it looks like from a distance.
Health: Chimosa Hake is a very sickly man. While he's concentrating on it he can hide most of it but when he's distracted by things, the symptoms show. Hake has trouble breathing, often panting or breathing raggedly as if he is exerted, even when sitting down. He has bouts of coughing that render him unable to stand on his own and his immune system is weak, resulting in him being stuck to his bed often, requiring the care of others. He shows signs of dizziness and migraines and often stumbles. It is not uncommon for him to faint without any warning. While his bones are very frail, Hake has never suffered from a broken bone. His skin is always sickly pale but looks a shade of beautiful white from a distance.
Personality:Chimosa Hake is a talkative and outgoing person, always happy to chatter on about nothing at all. He can spend hours with others just sitting and talking. Hake is always kind and polite, always smiling to others and always ready to lend a shoulder to lean on should anyone need it. But that's only on his good days. Quite often, Hake suffers from mood swings that take him down to the other side of the scale. He starts to brood on things and turns quiet. He's difficult to approach when in such a situation and might even snap at people he considers important friends should they continue to try and approach him. When faced with decisions or when he requires thinking, Hake becomes quiet as well but is open to approach should it be necessary. While he doesn't smile or talk much when thinking he also doesn't snap at anyone or brood the whole time.
History: Found as a little boy by an old lady, wrapped only in a blanket, Chimosa Hake grew up under the old lady's care. Nothing was known about him and even his name is not his birth name. When the old lady died, Chimosa Hake started traveling through the war torn country of Japan, exploring the world as best he could. He did not suffer too badly from the war, avoiding most of the skirmishes but neither did he benefit from any special teachings during the first twenty-odd years of his life. To the people of the village where he resides now little is known of his past. At one point he just showed up with a caravan and remained when the caravan left. He settled in rather nicely and got along well with his neighbors. While Hake never shared anything with others from before he arrived, he himself knows where he came from and who he is. The only part of himself that he has no information about is who his parents are. He had one clue to follow but it ended in a dead end in the town he's currently in. The woman who had made the blanket he was found in had died a few years before he had arrived in the town and had effectively cut off any and all connection Hake had with his parents.
While he has always known he was perhaps a touch smarter than most people, Chimosa Hake has found that through playing strategic games with the local elders, such as chess and Go, his mind has matured very quickly into that of a, yet unexperienced, strategist. His intellect has proven itself already in several different fields, helping out with irrigation problems in the field, stability problems when building new houses and in getting rid of a rat problem in the rice storage warehouse. He even managed to solve a ten year going dispute between two farmers over a piece of land in between their respective fields with both sides happy.
Chimosa Hake's military experience has been limited to a few skirmishes with bandits and the first few of those only as an observer and advisor to the village council. So far, Hake has not seen mass death at anyone's hands and has been relatively sheltered from the consequences of his actions and decisions on the battlefield. His biggest battle so far was the battle for Old Man Fuh's mill where he commanded a group of 30-odd villagers in an attempt to retake the mill from bandits who had killed Old man Fuh and his wife. Hake's fame hasn't even reached beyond the village borders yet.
