War for Two[[Shoji Monthly]]

This was my first time out of the village in a while. I had finally helped it to a point where it could stand on its own two feet. I boarded onto a cargo ship. They hired me as their bodyguard. I was only one man but this wasn’t a very big ship and it definitely wasn’t carrying anything overly important. At least that was what they told me.



So I stood there on the deck. Leaning against the guard rail watching the sea, I took the time to relax. It felt calming being out on sea. Felt good to finally be doing something. I let the breeze blow through my hair softly as I smiled. Everything was going pretty well.



But that didn’t last too long. Off the horizon, I noticed a larger ship approaching us, with incredible speed. Quickly, I made for the captain of the ship. “I think we’re under attack. Secure your cargo and the crew below deck. I’ll handle this.” I took the wheel of the ship, and attempt to divert our course from the enemy ship. With no one at the sails, I wouldn’t be able to change speed, so I had the men put us to full sail and full speed before they hid below deck. I wouldn’t let anyone I was protecting die this time.

"Doesn't the ship seem a little... small?" inquired Shoji, quirking a single brow.

"We didn' hire ya ta think," grumbled the captain. "We hired ya ta fight. We don' need yer brain. We need yer brawn, kid. So shuddup!"

Shoji replied with a bow of the head and a cheerful smile, all while envisioning slaughtering the man. Both for the sheer pleasure for spilling someone's blood and because he was being such a dick to him, and obviously Shoji was far superior in every single way.

The pirate ship was heading towards a small cargo ship and, as they neared, sails larger and ship faster than the other, Shoji noticed only one man on deck.

"One fighter? Well, that simply seems... cruel," said the man, a wide grin spreading across his lips. 'How delightful~'

After firing once at the ship (more of a warning shot, than anything) upon catching up to it, the captain would move towards the railing. He shouted when they were close enough to be within ear-shot, "Just give us what ya have here, and we want hafta cause too much trouble for ya."

There were shouts and nods of approval, and the psychopath just wanted to roll his eyes, but only did so internally. Sure. While it was easier to get it over peacefully, Shoji rather hoped the man on the other ship would try to fight. It would be far more fun.

Although, even if the other ship did agree with the captain of the pirates terms--Shoji's crimson eyes switched over to wheel of their ship and glanced back to the captain--the tall psychopath had... other plans, to say the least.

After all, all of this time out on the sea made him both extra horny and, most of all, his bloodlust had been unable to be satiated for a while.

I braced my self as the cannons fired, ducking down low as the shots tore through the sails of my own ship. The ship spun out spinning into a circle. I acted quickly, jumping onto one of the masts. I climbed up it as quickly as I could and held on for dear life as the back of my ship slammed into the larger one, causing a decent deal of damage to them both. I would use that moment to jump from the mast of my ship, jumping down onto the other ship. I drew my lightning sword and pulled it above my head as I came soaring down onto the other ship. RYUTSUISEN! I slammed it down onto one of the pirates heads, slicing them into. I turned then and gave the rest of the crew a sharp glance.

"Back away now, and I won't... hafta cause you too much trouble."

Quickly, I resheathed my sword, still holding the hilt. I turned sideways to face the rest of the crew, ready to react at a single moment. My eyes darted through the crew trying to get a feel of them... I got an ominous feel from the man with the red eyes. This feeling... was it blood lust? No. I was just feeling paranoid since this was my first job since I left. My grip on my hilt tightened as I held my sheath with my left hand.

Shoji blinked as the lone man swung over to the pirate ship and sliced a man in two, and he then grinned, saying to himself with a chuckle, "What a ballsy fellow. This has gotten very interesting..."

And Shoji wanted the fun to continue.

Slipping backwards discreetly, the psychopath moved over to a cannon as the other pirates were tense and others were shouting, threatening. They were acting as though they had never seen a man split in two before. It was pathetic, really. Weren't they all outlaws?

Pulling out a knife, Shoji walked towards one of the men at the nearest cannon with a lit torch, and the man walked up to him. When getting close and pulling him towards Sho, the psychopath stabbed him in the belly, and ripped upwards. The guy fell slowly onto his knees and before anyone could notice, Shoji lit the cannon, and a boom echoed in the air. It hit right in the center of the other ship, and the pirates looked over at the source, shocked. This was clearly not a part of the plan. Shoji stared at them, smirking, and began heading towards the captain, seemingly carefree.

The captain began to shout, waving his arms in the air, "What in da actual fuck are ya thinkin', ya fuckin' bra-"

When Shoji approached the captain, with a movement like a flash, he severed the head of the captain, through its center. The top half of his head and the body fell to the ground, and Shoji grinned, looking out at everyone else. Normally Shoji hid his behavior, but he hadn't been able to kill or rape for so long, that.... well, he was more than a little stir-crazy. He couldn't let things potentially go down peacefully. Shoji... why, he desired conflict... and lusted for blood and death.

"So many boring weeks here. Let's keep this fun and interesting, shall we?"

He held his katana out, blade gleaming with crimson and blood dripping onto the floor, and he grinned like a hungry wolf, blood-red eyes smiling even wider.

I tried to focus on the blood-thirsty one towards the back, but instead I was distracted by a couple pirates charging at me. I ducked the first one’s horizontal slash. Souryuusen! I drew my blade from the sheath with amazing speed, slicing the man in two. I would then side step the next one that charged at me, RYUUKANSEN! I did a 360 spin, using the momentum to help me slice the next one in two as well. As a third one came at me… the entire boat shook and he fell to the ground. I ignored the shaking and stabbed downwards, stabbing the fallen man in his brain… killing him as well.

“What the hell…”

I then looked over. It appeared that the blood-thirsty one had shot the boat I was defending… As I looked on I could see dead bodies amongst the wrecked deck of the other ship. Dammit… I was the one that told them to go below deck… This was my fault. I turned back towards the blood-thirsty one glaring, just in time to see him kill his own Captain. The other pirates seemed to part to either side to move out of our way.

“You… You were working with them… WERE THEY NOT YOUR COMRADES?!”

Oh, look at all of the glorious blood. Listen to the cries! There was so much death, as the two men swung at the pirates. Shoji was practically frothing.

His crimson eyes glimmered in response. "I've been cooped up like a cat." He then grinned widely, smile that of the Cheshire Cat. As he went on, his arm waved across the bodies and few survivors. "I got bored. These are the most boring group of pirates I've ever come across. Hasn't been a single drop of blood shed since I joined them..." one of the men writhed on the ground. Shoji sauntered over to him and pressed his foot against the man's sliced, bleeding throat, choking the life out of him. The man smirked darkly, "until now."

Someone charged Shoji and the psychopath cut him down with ease, twirling around and chuckling. He exclaimed cheerily to Yuy, "Thank you, lovely stranger, for cutting that man in two, and reminding me what I missed so very much~ You are a real doll."

It seemed before the other ship sank, it fired a few times at the pirate ship. While the others were distracted, trying to keep their balance, Shoji began to cut them down left and right, laughing sadistically. As the ship began to slowly sink, he jumped up on the rail of the ship. Shoji swiveled around and faced Yuy, grinning widely. He bowed and exclaimed, "Seems we are going down. Until we meet again, in Yomi or in life~"

And Shoji would fall freely and with ease, crashing into the water. Lol exits
