[[OoC: Seiko first. PM me if you want to join.]]
I spurred my horse to go faster as we ran through the forest. I was a man on a mission. Rumors of this Numa Castle had reached me in my base village of operations. Great treasure was inside of the castle... and I would be the one to reach it. That treasure would come in handy to start my army. I had also heard stories that people who went through this castle had become immensely more powerful.
I slowed down as I reached the marshlands, careful not to get my horse stuck. It took us a while, but soon enough we approached the castle. As we did, I dismounted my horse and stroked it's mane softly, "Rest now partner. You did great." I turned back towards the castle, almost glaring at it. I took a step forward, placing my left hand on my sheath.
"Numa Castle. Quite a sight... wouldn't you say?"
I spoke to the other person who was present there. I had no idea if they were trying to sneak up on me or not. Or even who this person was. So I exercised caution, putting my right hand on my sword's hilt. I prepared myself for having to swing a battoujutsu if this person was really here for a fight.

"Numa Castle. Quite a sight... wouldn't you say?"
Seiko's eyes widened. She had hidden behind a large tree when she heard the steps of a stranger trekking through the marshlands. Seiko thought the place was a rather secluded area so she immediately thought she would be in danger, hence the reason she hid herself. She had asked Yuki to take her here when the two had time but curiosity got the best of her and she ended up coming alone. Probably not the best of ideas when she saw the wounds that resulted from his being at the castle, but she planned on just taking a little peek and then head back on a long journey back home!
She poked her head out first, wary of the sword at his side. But he had already seen her, so might as well make herself known.
"Yeah."
Pause.
"You're not going to hurt me, are you...?"

I turned around to face the voice. Looking at the girl, I sighed and removed my hands from my sword and sheath. I wasn't sure if her scared act was just that, an act or if she was genuinely scared of me. None the less... if she did try to attack me, I would be able to catch her off guard with my hidden blade even if I couldn't reach my katana.
"No."
I started walking towards the entrance of the castle. I didn't care much for conversing with some strange girl who enjoyed watching people approach castles. I stopped at the foot of the stairs before looking up at the large doors of the castle. There was no going back now. I had to go forward. I couldn't stand not to go forward. I stepped up to the castle doors and threw them open with both hands.

She blinked. He completely disregarded her hair and skin color- that was pretty cool. Most people reacted negatively but he just treated her as if she were another random, normal- if not slightly odd- person. Seeing him approach the castle, Seiko followed suit after him but kept her distance, her trusty short spear in hand.
She was supposed to go back home, but watching another person enter the castle was too much of a temptation to not go in herself.

I kept my left hand on the sheath of my sword as I entered the castle. Doing this allowed me to easily shift to a battoujutsu stance if I needed to. I walked forward until I reached a three way split. I wondered which way to go as I turned my head slowly from the right to the left, fixating at the hall on my left. Something drew me to it and so I turned to my left and continued to walk through it, wondering what sort of perils lie ahead.
