Smash Recovery [Dungeon Open]

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou would follow after Naotora, setting off the spike wall and hopping through after they started to reset, and watched the mess of arrows and other projectiles adding to the collection of other spike traps. It was a shame that Naotora didn't have a second of those balls. It would be some form of cover from the arrows, on both side if she did. Looking back, Shou was about to once again make sure in his mind that he knew a safe route back when he saw black shape descending from the ceiling. 

"LOOK UP." Shou would shout out, incase any of them hadn't notice the threat. "We have problem behind us,any ideas before they notice us?" Shou would ask, turn to the women at his side. He wondered what exactly the things were, they seemed unnatural but from over here he hadn't been able to get a good look. They could crawl under the projectile but not without setting the traps off in the ground. 

Suddenly a idea occurred to Shou. The arrows had to come from somewhere in the wall, and he examined them. It was hard to notice but inside the wall were small holes. "Actually I think I have got a idea, step back." Shou would, arkwardly moving to the other side of Naotora to be at the front. Sliding blades into his hands, Shou would try and throw them so that daggers blocked arrow slits. He would aim for the lower ones only, he wasn't willing to let himself run out of them by trying to block as many holes as he had daggers.

[Kuroshi Maki]

As the two in front just did their thing and revealing traps. I wasn't about to walk their way so me and two others would wait by the door. Until i heard something above me move. I looked up and saw birds the size of humans almost with their wings spread. I was already holding my blades but it was abit dark so I could not tell how many birds there were. I didn't take any risk and would prepare my blades for impact ready to counter any of the birds if they would attack. and the fool Shou shouted that we had to watch out above us giving us away. The birds would respond to the sound and noticed us.

great we had not only a wannabe leader, he also seemed to be a fool shouting when there enemies nearby. The birds would come down as one of those big birds came at me I would make sure it would come as close as it could and as it was about to attack I would block it with the left blade and strike with the right to chop of the head of this beast.

" Thanks you moron! "

How would we come out alive if we have fools like this in the team. I just hope those two next to me have a good aim at shooting because I only had two blades and can't stop a force on my own.

[Kyoya Naotora]

Naotora paid little attention to what was directed to the group in the back. That was their problem, and Naotora and Shou had to deal with the traps all around them. She'd put a hand to the man's shoulder after he passed her and the pessimist addressed him so spitefully.

"Don't mind him."

She would watch as he threw his knives, curious as to whether or not the plan would work. If it would, she would wiggle in front of him and begin crawling across the small path. If not, she would step in front, urge him to step back, and proceed through the traps, spinning her ball-and-chain around her in figure-eights to block the arrows from all sides.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

Son. Of. A. Bitch. Iemasa cursed at the murder of crow-things that appeared, and immediately took aim. If it wasn't obvious, the guy at the front had to just rub it in their fucking faces.

"What the fuck are these things?!"

He would take aim at the group before it dispersed, trying to get off as many multiple-kill-shots as he could. Other gunner better be good with that weapon of his, or Iemasa was going to kill a bitch.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

As he watched again the woman do her thing, Ryunosuke was impressed. "We would really be going somewhere!" was the joyful thought that was running on his mind when, he heard a door open from the ceiling directly above him and the other two who were left at the entrance. He gazed upward, and he saw a number of dark birds swarming towards them.

"Who would have thought...!" he muttered as he quickly crouched and took aim at the birds with his pistol. As much as possible, he would want to kill as many of these birds as possible with one shot, and as many shots of that kind as possible.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Shou/Nao: Shou's knives blocked the bottom arrow ports, allowing Naotora to crawl under successfull1 (and Shou too, if he followed)! The chest was directly in front of them now!

Group: Iemasa's and Ryunosuke's shots both hit only a single bird each, the murder scattering and charging! Being at the front, Maki would get the brunt of the pain, as they would all strike in unison, a single mass of dark claws ripping through flesh! Maki's chest, shoulders, and face would be cut up, and Iemasa's and Ryunosuke's arms would be cut and bleeding! After the attack, the birds would fly upward and around, before charging once again!

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou would follow cautiously after Naotora, low to the ground, arrows still worrying passing over head. However some how the two of them would make it, their combined effort of dealing with the traps seeming to have paid off. Getting to his feet slowly, Shou would move over to the chest. Crouching down next to the chest Shou would try and see if the chest was trapped. 

He would carefully look over the actual chest, as well as the ground below it for traps if they were force to just try and drag the whole thing back with them. Either way Shou would get up and take a step back. "So how the hell are we going to get this back over there?" Shou would ask out loud actually talking to himself, and scratching his chin. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

It seemed we underestimated these birds... also those two men only hit one bird each? As they all came down at us I could finally see how many there where of those birds. Holding my blades up to block some, I could feel claws ripping flesh of my arms and chest even my face. Blood would soon cover my arms and face red. I was in the front so it seems I was hit the hardest.. The other two only had their arms cut. But it was bad as they needed those arms to aim and shoot those birds. The birds then after fly back up ready for another attack.

" I don't like you guys, but if we wanna stay alive you guys better shoot them in the head. "

I would turn around abit so they could see how muchts of the force I stopped so they could be alright. I had taken allot of the force and they would know it. But a few cuts would not stop me I was just getting started. it was 1 on 10.

" I will try to hold them back once again just make sure you hit more then one this time. "

I would put myself in a fighting position weapons in front of me like a X and if they would get close I would try to slice two of them this time and hope to hold the rest off long enough to make sure they can take their shots.

[Kyoya Naotora]

Naotora would cautiously swing her weapon around the chest, seeing just what traps there were around it, if any. If there were none, she would hurl her weapon back toward the front, through the air, looking to take out a group of the birds, and also get her weapon out of the way so her arms were free.

"Heads up!" she would shout as a warning to the others. She didn't want them getting crushed.

If she was free to take the chest, she would, and she would just crawl back with it, using the same tactics she did to get here. Shou had already disabled some of the arrow holes anyway.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

Iemasa would block as many of the claws as he could to protect himself, and he ended up getting his arms covered in cuts. He would curse loudly, roaring as he took aim once again at the mass. The officer was just about to fire, until he heard Naotora warn them of her fucking ball-and-chain flying through the air. He cursed once again, pushing Maki out of the way and then holding himself against the closest wall. From there, he would point his rifle toward the crows and fire off as many times as he could before they would reach the group again.

"Fucking crazy ass birds..."

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

As Ryunosuke saw his shot only hit one of the birds, he was clearly frustrated. At this rate of killing birds, they would all be cut up before we finished all of them. But he did not really have a choice but to depend on his gun to kill the birds.

"If only I was a foot taller..." he muttered, when he heard the woman alert them about being hit by her weapon. As he looked above him, he saw the ball and chain directly above him.

With a forced exhalation, he would tumble over to another safe spot, and there he would resume sniping off the birds as of his original plan.

[Oda Nobunaga]

[Oda Nobunaga]

Shou/Nao: The ball set off all the traps around the chest, and it seemed it had a rotating spike trap all around it! There was a single pressure tile to the left of the chest, and it seemed it halted the spikes when stepped on!

Group: Naotora's ball-and-chain ripped through the murder of crows, eliminating about ten as it flew! Iemasa and Ryunosuke would get two shots off each, each of their shots hitting three birds!

Birds left: 12

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou would almost panic, as Naotora swung her ball around the chest as he was close to it checking for traps. Spikes shoot out around the chest spinning round it. As quickly as he could, Shou threw himself to the ground. Spinning spike catching one of his arms, as he did so, scratching down his arm painfully before he could get under them. Another click sounded under him, and Shou was ready to move again to escape. Instead however the panel seemed to dectivate the spikes, causing the to halt spinning over his head. 

"Warm me next time Naotora-san." Shou said panting, carefully getting to his feet, and between the spikes that had gone off. Shou grabbed his forearm carefully, holding the gash close and seeing how much it bleed. Flipping a knife into his hand, Shou cut a strip from his clothes and quickly wrapped his arm as best he could. As Naotora would attempt to move the chest. Before moving in to help carry it if it was heavy. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

Before I knew it I saw a ball flying my way, And it seems one of the two men behind me saw it coming and grabbed me pulling me up against the wall. The ball passed us and it seemed it took out almost half the birds and the gun men both killing two this time. The birds were losing more then half the numbers yet I didn't kill any of them. The only thing I had don't was take most damage. It pissed me off. As the ball dropped I would step forwards again and would take the same defensive position.

" Both of you step behind me and aim the fun over my shoulder and you little man aim from under my arm. stand back to back that would make me be able to protect you two better whille you two take the rest out. "


I could not care about my wounds at this point and I had to make sure we would be able to hold the remaining 12 as the two in front would take the chest back. The chest would probably make it hard for those two to aid in the attack like before. If the birds would come close I would catch them upon my blades and hope the two gunmen can take them out.

[Kyoya Naotora]

"Sorry," she laughed. It was a dangerous situation, yes, but, being her, it was hard to to find a little bit of humor in it. Though, the humor quickly subsided, and the woman reached for the chest. It was very likely she would not need Shou's help in carrying it, and, as soon as she had it, she would slide it along the ground in front of her as she crawled back to the entrance.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

Iemasa seemed happy with their luck so far. They'd taken out a huge chunk of the enemies, especially with that woman's weapon. And boy did she chuck it far.

Not questioning the pessimist's command, seeing as he found it logical, Iemasa would to as he suggested and stood behind the man, taking aim over his shoulder. He would wait until the birds were either close or in a clump, before firing.

"Don't strain yourself too much, big guy."

That may have sounded like sarcasm, but it certainly wasn't.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

Ryunosuke let out a triumphant grin as the metal ball plunged over 10 of the birds and he as well as the other gunman mnged to kill 6 more birds in total. With the number of birds decimated to 12, a number less than half of the original number of birds, it would be a short walk for them.

Seeing the two other people slide out the chest to their direction, Ryunosuke felt more elated. He might have been in a very competitive team, as what he did not expect as when he saw the other rifleman im his weapon at him and the others. And it seemed that the "pessimist" was in a mood to fire up, as he volunteered to do what Ryunosuke expected him to do: as the hulking strongman to shield the weak marksmen while they do the shots.

Following the bravo's suggestion, he aimed from under his arm, behind him. He then replied, "I would just hope you don't lower your arms too much as I don't want a misfire." He then calmly aimed from his position, aiming at the most number of birds possible, but taking care not to injure the person who vowed to protect him.

[Oda Nobunaga]

[Oda Nobunaga]

Shou/Nao: Naotora would have no problems taking the chest, and would be able to slide it along the path with no hindrances! Shou, however, would find that as he stepped off the pressure plate, the traps around him would reactivate! He needed to be careful!

Group: Iemasa and Ryunosuke both took out another three birds each, before the group charged! As they did, Maki would be capable of taking out the remainder, though he would find himself with many cuts all over his torso as a result!

All birds: deceased!

[Yamabara Shou]

As he stepped off the pressure plate below him, Shou saw the spike start to try and spin up to speed once more. Shou would quickly take a step back on the pressure plate cutting the spikes movement off almost as quickly as they were trying t start. 

"Just go I'll catch up." Shou would say to Naotora, it was best if as many of them got to safety as quickly as possible. Crouching down Shou looked at the pressure plate examine the seem of it. "Damn it. Well I can always get more made." Shou would say to himself pulling out a dagger into each of his hands. Shou would place one into the seem of the pressure plate, hammering in with the back of the second dagger. Before doing the same with the second throwing dagger using the handle of his larger blade. Once please that the trap would be stalled by the daggers, if not held in place completely Shou would head after Naotora. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

It seems the two men did what I had said, it seemed like the best plan. But even so some would find it strange for Maki to take the protection role. Yet there were reasons to do so, I was holding swords and the only way I could use them were up close and these two had a gun the would be able to take them from a distance. I was used to pain so taking a few hits would not stop me. As the birds would come back around I could hear the bullets fly. It was abit scary having these guns fire so close to me but I could see the birds die. They both had 3 birds again leaving 6 that came in closer and closer. I would step forwards avoiding hurting the two and I would think they would pull back the gun as well. The first two birds I would catch upon the blade because of their speed they would kill themselves on the blade.

" Take this you bitches. "

The next two would claw into my chest abit, but swinging my left blade around Killing them as well. The last two came in clawing at me a few more cuts revealed themselves on my body. I was smiling abit like a crazy man, my eyes burning with fire of hate. I would drop the left sword just grabbing the bird by his neck and snapping it as the other would feel my right blade just pierce its body dropping dead on the ground. I would then try to pick up my blade and dropped on the knee. Some cuts were bleeding as others were minor and didn't had blood coming from them I just had to catch my breath for a second before standing up and turning around to the two gun men. My face was not a friendly one but more of a crazy beast. Body covered it cuts and scratches.

[Kyoya Naotora]

"Damn it! Be careful!"

Naotora was clearly concerned with Shou's situation, but there was very little she could do right now. So, she would drag the chest back to the entrance, making sure to avoid all of the traps, before she would lift it up and toss it into the rifleman's hands. Wasting no time, the woman would pick up her chain and start swinging her weapon in the air, shattering the traps in her way, and start heading over toward Shou. If he hadn't found a solution yet, they could use her weapon as a weight.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

The guy displayed some serious might, having taken out the birds he did despite taking that beating. As he fell to a knee, Iemasa would rip the sleeves off his hakama, and hand them to the guy, just before the strong woman through the chest to him. He'd catch it and set it down, before addressing his team.

"You, let me patch you up." That was to the pessimist. He would kneel next to the guy and start bandaging his arms, using the ripped sleeves from his kimono as makeshift tourniquets. During, he would turn to the gunner kid. "You got a good shooting arm on you, kid."
