Smash Recovery [Dungeon Open]

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

Ryunosuke and the other gunner had managed to kill off half of the birds before the bravo relentlessly struck down the remainder of the birds, which finished their first trouble. The first, that is. Unless they were able to get out of the castle premises will these random disasters continue. Ryunosuke then turned to the other side of the hall where the two managed to smuggle the chest out of the trap-ridden place and to the other gunman's hands.

As the other gunner complimented his capacity to shoot firearms, Ryunosuke complimented him in return, "And you have got a very keen eye to complement your very good concentration. My poor artillery doesn't even compare!" He grinned at the man while saying those words. And then he said to the bravo, "Hang on in there, we need you more before we get out of this place." He then looked around him. "Now how do we leave this place." He then will search for exits that they can pass to get out of this trap-infested hall.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Upon the chest falling into Iemasa's hands, the void around the door would dissipate! With Iemasa's help, Maki's cuts seemed to close up and the bleeding stopped, the traps were all disabled, and the group was pulled out of the room by some magical force! They were once again in the entrance, and it seemed like the left chamber collapsed! A dark energy rushed from one end of the path to the other, before roaring in the doorway and making a new dark, iron door. If the group tried to open it, it would remain locked.

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou was ripped from his feet as he, was still trying to make things safe for himself by what seemed like a even bigger gust of wind then that which had brought them in. It was a nasty trip over such a distance, man was not meant to fly, Shou thought as he slammed into the ground back at the entrance. "That went pretty well." Shou would say getting to his feet. 

"Well it doesn't seem to be what i'm here for, but after what just happened I doubt it's here anyway. But that's a big chest, even I won't pass up the optionality for more if it's here." Shou would say moving over to the chest. "Wonder how you open the damn thing.  Anyone good with locks?" Shou asked looking over the rest of them one by one. Shou hoped that the rest thought about going on too. He doubt he would have much chance alone. Plus getting to know his enemy more, and making a new powerful friend as well in Naotora, seemed like a good plus side too. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

We at least had the chest, but this rifle man seems to care for my wounds more at this point at started to wrap them. I could not stop him because I knew if more like this would happen I needed all my strength and bleeding to death would suck. I just gave the man a small node of appreciation before turning my head away again. i could not be seen as a friendly guy I just can't . Before I would be able to do anything after I felt the wind pulling me back into the first hall we entered in. I could hear Shou talk about going further and all that. I was not about to let him take all the shine.

" If you go, I go with you.. Can't let you die from anything other then my blade. "

I said those words in a twisted way as I looked over at Shou. I would walk up to him patting my hand on top of his head. I would then turn around to see the rest. It was true they were all fine at what they did but it seems they didn't had a powerhouse so they needed me. Only one that came close to become one was that girl Nao.

[Kyoya Naotora]

Startled, Naotora would stumble out of the room, and watch as it sealed off. She was a little surprised, to say the least, but everyone seemed to get out in one piece. There was no way she could complain about that.

Approaching the chest, Naotora would move Shou aside before slamming her weapon against the lock. It seemed to make little difference, however, and she shrugged. Nothing she could do about it, it seemed. "If we're to keep going, let's go down the middle chamber." That was less of a request and more of an imperative statement. It seemed more sense than going left, right, and then center, in her eyes.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

Iemasa would have barely moved as he stumbled out, and he just let the others do their thing with the chest. It didn't seem like anyone could get it open right now, so maybe the secret to unlocking the damn thing was further in the castle. In that case, he wasn't opposed to continuing, 'cuz it probably meant more loot.

"I agree with the lady," Iemasa said with a shrug, making his way over to the middle chamber doors. He just assumed the others would be alright with it.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

"Wait, wha..." he muttered as he and the other people were sucked again into the darkness that engulfed them at the entrance. Fortunately they ended up again at the entrance, and then two sets of doors appeared, at the middle and the right.

"Now I wonder what's in there," Ryunosuke thought as he gazed at the doors. He then heard the "courier boy" mutter about how to unlock the chest, and then he thought about thee doors again. "Maybe the answer lies there," he said, pointing at each of the doors. As he saw the other two walk towards the middle door, he just shrugged, "Whatever, as long as we're complete we would manage to get through any disaster. I'll follow you two." With that he also motioned for the middle door.

[Oda Nobunaga]

[OoC: Path: MIDDLE CHAMBER. Your objective is to slay as many monsters as possible, retrieve the Daimyo's treasure, and making it back to the entrance. More enemy deaths will yield better rewards for the players. You can not lose an ally. Death or incapacitation of one member of the party will lead to failure for the entire group.

The door would swing open, and a blast of wind would rush outward. While it was not enough to blow the group backward, they would surely be startled. The smell of death and decay would fill their lungs, and the sounds of screams would intensify, growing louder with each second. Suddenly, all noise would halt. The wind would dissipate, leaving only a small breeze, coming from the entrance to the castle.

Inside, the room was dark, but not so much nothing could be seen. Chains hang from the ceiling, several of which were holding skeletons by their necks, dangling above the doorway. Bodies, old and new, could be found all across the floor, which was stained with blood and mud. At the far end of the room, a large doorway could be found. That was their goal.

The group would feel something tugging on them, but it was nothing physical. A force, perhaps something spiritual, pulled the group into the chamber, and suddenly the door was blocked off by a wall of darkness. Candles all along the wall lit up, perfectly illuminating the room. The bodies of the dead soldiers on the ground slowly started returning to their feet, each one armed with katana. With deathly screeches, they charged the group.

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou ignored Maki' s words, but move to prevent the man touching him, he didn't know what the other man was planning. It seemed everyone had decided, and the door ahead opened as if in answer. The stench of death was rancid, as it suddenly came on a sudden wind. Heading inside, Shou didn't like the scene ahead, bodies everywhere and blood. Door slamming behind them, left them briefly in greater darkness as touch light appeared from seemingly nowhere illuminating the room. 

What happened next was the stuff of tales, as corpses got to there feet weapons at the ready, and started to charge at them. Shou slid a couple daggers into each hand, and picked out a couple of the under men that were more rotten flesh, then bone compared to some of the others. His daggers were designed to rend flesh, and lacked the weight to deal a serious blow to bone. With a swing of each arm he would send a pair of daggers at each of the two deadmen, before taking a sliding step behind Naotora. It seemed slightly cowardly to move for cover behind the only female, but she had a close range weapon and the only other choice for that was the swordsman. As Naotora would monumentality hold them off Shou would slide three more blades in to each hand to make claws. Now ready to fight them close up. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

As Shou moved his head to avoid my hand I just smiled. It seems he still had some hard feelings for me. He did lost badly against me but still his trowing skills with those dagger were pretty good. All here had a skill. Everybody seem to chose the center room to go to next but soon we will probably regret taking that course. As the door slammed open as it knew what we wanted to do, the smell that came at us was already giving us a taste of whats going to be ahead of us. The wind pushed us back abit but this time none of us seem to stumble. And then it stopped and just s small breeze remained just before we got pulled into the darkness of the room. as the candles fired up one by one you could see the ground covered in dead bodies, some already rotten to the bone and some still rather fresh. I now knew that many had failed here just brought me more aware of what was going to happen.

The bodies started to raise up from the ground and as fast as I could counted 10 of them. so it was 5 vs 10 this time. so 1 against 2 seems right? But still for those guns to work they need distance up close it would be harder to shoot if they have to defend as well. But this time I'm no the only one that fights up close. I would give a quick head node to Nao, and rushed forwards creating distance between me and the rifle men so they have time to pull off those shots. As a few swords would raise up to me I would block them with my left blade and would try to make a clean cut in their middle part even hoping to cut of the lower body.

" I can only hold them for a certain amount of time.. Make you're shots count. "

Maki was a fighter raised in hate yes, but certain people around him enemies even showed him dead he would not be able to gain what he seeks so he was not planning to die. He didn't trust the rest but he knows he needs them.

[Kyoya Naotora]

Naotora was pulled into the room with the others, surprised. The stench of death filled her lungs, and were she not a hardened warrior, it would have been enough to make her gag and puke. But, she held herself together, realizing they were all being faced with... undead soldiers?

Startled, the woman picked up her weapon, noticing the Yamabara man and the pessimist reacting to her in certain ways. She would just nod, charging the fray, swinging her weapon in front of her in a wide arc, looking to get just as money of those fuckers in the head as she could.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

Once Iemasa was pulled into the room, he immediately felt sick to his stomach. This was like some stuff of myths or something, and he was surprised. There was no way this could be real. But, if it was, he didn't have time to sit idle. Like the others, he would react as quickly as he could.

"God damn it, be careful, guys!"

Raising his rifle, Iemasa would take aim and try to get as many shots off as he could. He would aim at the zombies' heads to try and take 'em out in a single shot each.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

The door opened as the people made their way to it, and a gust of wind shot up from the inside. With the wind was the strong smell of decaying flesh and the screams of what should be a thousand souls trapped in the chamber. This was no joke: this chamber really killed a lot of people on the way.

"Damn it, this has to be the guards' garrison," Ryunosuke said, covering his nose and coughing. They had entered a dark room filled with decayed and decaying bodies. Some were even dangling from the ceiling. Suddenly their route of escape is barred by a wall of darkness, and candles all around the room lit up, showing that some of the bodies reanimate.

"Oh no, I hope this doesn't mean that we will kill off something that is already dead," Ryunosuke muttered as the zombies already had gotten up and charged at them. He loaded a ball larger than his original shot into his pistol and aimed at the necks of the zombies. He thought that decapitation is one option, and that shooting them at the head means nothing. He sought to decapitate one zombie with one shot of his weapon, and hoped that he would get as many shots as he could.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Shou: The daggers would soar through the air, striking a few of the undead but mostly in areas that made little to no difference. He was safe from any harm, however.

Maki: Maki would have a good portion of the undead headed his way from the get-go, severely outnumbering him right away. He would be, however, saved by his allies' actions, insuring he would be dealt no physical harm.

Naotora: The woman sent her weapon in a wide arc successfully, slamming it into the heads of several of the undead, crushing them! The first ones to take the brunt of the blow would be the group headed for Maki, and immediately dispersed from the damage!

Iemasa: Iemasa was able to get two shots off, which destroyed two of the zombies' skulls!

Ryunosuke: The boy's larger rounds successfully pierced the zombies' necks, ripping their heads from their shoulders!

As they were left with but a single samurai, the group would hear shrieks coming from above them! If they looked up, they would see five creatures running along the walls! One would jump down toward each member of the group, looking to tackle them to the ground!

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou cursed to himself as his daggers had little effect on the undead, but it didn't matter for long as Naotora and the gunmen made quick work of most of the undead. From above however unnatural shrieks alerted Shou to the present of yet another threat, And Shou saw the creature leap out at them. One came straight at him, looking to tackle him to the ground.

"WHAT IS THAT?"

Shou would turns his hands over, and bring both of his hands up, in a two fisted bladed upper cut. The force of the creature barrelling into him, as he struck would cause the daggers to penetrate it somewhere in the chest, it's own force causing his blades to literally rip the thing open, as Shou arms would continue upwards. Letting go of his daggers at this point Shou would throw then thing over his head in the path it way it was already going. Shou would turn, refreshing the blades in his hand, and making sure the thing was down. Before running over to assist anyone who needed help. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

As I was worth nothing in this attack, I didn't even hit one of this undead and it seems once again I was useless. But I could not stay in it to muchs as i heard something crawling on the wall as I look up something just lashed at me from up. What the fuck is going on here these monsters or whatever they can't be real right. Were the hell did I get myself into.

" You ugly motherfucker! "

I would brace myself for that thing that came down at me and would catch it up with one blade as i would slide back from impact still having it on my blade. My other blade would rase up trying to cut the ugly beast in two and end his sorry life. I just hoped I was able to pull this off unlike before.

[Kyoya Naotora]

Having succeeded in her attack, Naotora would feel ready for whatever came next. She looked up as the creatures all rushed down from the air, and she would swing her weapon in a circle above herself, looking to knock them all out of the air and crush them, before slamming her weapon down on the last of the undead samurai.

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

Iemasa looked up in surprise at hearing the shrieks, and upon seeing the creatures crawling along the walls, his jaw dropped. What the hell was going on?! "There's no way this is real!" he shouted just as one of them made their charge toward him. He would hold his gun out, looking to ram it into the fucker's mouth, just before he would pull the trigger and blow its head off.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

"Looks like our problem's gonna end here," Ryunosuke said, looking at the lone zombie swordsman at their front, when suddenly, due to a sudden shriek above them, he saw five creatures crawling up the walls, and they looked very creepy.

"Oh damn it!" he muttered as he aimed again his pistol, now at the head of the creature. He was unsure about this situation and just hoped a crushing blow to the head would finish each creature.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Shou: The creature was swatted out of the air by Naotora, allowing Shou's attack to succeed, ripping it open and eliminating it!

Maki: Naotora's weapon knocked the creature off balance, wounding its skull, allowing Maki's attack maneuver to work out successfully!

Naotora: The woman's weapon would strike all of the creatures, crushing the body of only her own opponent, and the last undead samurai!

Iemasa: Naotora's maneuver caught the creature of balance, allowing Iemasa to catch it with his weapon and blow its head off!

Ryunosuke: After Naotora hit the creature, it would be kept in the air long enough for Ryunosuke to get his shot off and destroy the creature's head!

On the other side of the chamber, a door would glow, just before shattering! Inside, there was a large chest, just like the one they'd found in the trap room! All of the monsters around them were defeated!

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou watched impressed with how well the last couple seconds seemed to pan out for their motley crew. 5 creatures attacked and then 5 plus the last standing samurai were defeated. Shou would watch as the light show ahead revealed another chest.

"Is tha... You know I'm not going to jinx it." Shou started before changing his mind on what to say, shrugging and arms spread, daggers still hanging in between his finger. They made a pretty good team it seemed. Even if the swordsman was part of it. Even so they had more trouble with the traps and dark bat/crow things in the previous room. And now the chest laid ahead.

Suspecting they may be more traps in this room as well. Shou would turn to the two gunmen and the swordsman. "Your turn to dodge spikes maybe?" Shou said with a grin, walking forwards anyway. Cautiously towards the chest even though suggesting one of the others should. 

[Kuroshi Maki]

Well that went well. We all took down our target and even the remaining samurai was taken down. Yet I didn't felt satisfied about this all. I felt useless I wanted more and was till ready to go as i looked around me there seemed to be none standing. A light then revealed the chest in the room... It seems there was more loot in this as well. I heard Shou with his smart ass remark but I didn't pay attention and just bend my knee's and lean on my blades.

[Kyoya Naotora]

The only trap Naotora was expecting was that of more monsters, but, nonetheless, she followed Shou. Depending on how he walked, she would actually go ahead of him, getting to the chest with the goal of taking it herself. If there were no obstacles, she would carry it atop her shoulder and just bring it back to the door, sure it would open in that event.
