Physical Information
Byakuya is somewhat short and fairly thin, but this helps him stay silent and out of sight from most people. When he isn't wearing his mask, it's pulled up over his head much like a tight bandana. His eyes show little to no emotion, much like the man they belong to, but there is still a burning intensity to them. Unlike his cousin, Byakuya's body is covered in numerous scars from doing much of the dirty work in the name of their clan. He keeps them concealed underneath black clothing made from light materials, with black cloth wraps around his arms and lower legs. He usually has a tight, sleeveless leather armor covering his torso, and knee-length pants that are just loose enough to not hinder his movement. When he's not on a mission of some sort, he always has a crow-feathered shoulder piece, gauntlets, and boots to promote the new direction his cousin has started taking the clan.
Personal Information
Byakuya is a hard man to gauge, even by those that are closest to him. He rarely speaks unless someone asks his opinion on something, and even then he is still a man of few words. His outward appearance is cold and stoic, and his speech is nearly monotone, which turns many people away from trying to become anything more than an acquaintance of his. He wouldn't have it any other way, preferring seclusion and silence to the hustle and bustle of the many people that surround him. He has lived in the shadows almost all of his life, and Watari has gone so far as to say that Byakuya has become one himself. He is extremely loyal to his cousin and their clan, and will do anything needed of him to ensure that Watari's plans come to fruition.
Historical Information
Byakuya was born into one of the two side branches of the Chiba clan during one of the lowest part of the clan's existence. Even the main branch was hated by the small folk, and mocked by the other lordly houses, but his youthful years were still spent in peace. A little after his fourth birthday, however, the Saka clan - the Chiba's lesser house and ally - attacked each of the Chiba clan's homes. Byakuya and his family had been staying at his cousin Watari's family estate during this planned attack, which resulted in the death of the rest of his immediate family. A young Byakuya cried as the flames engulfed the estate, but his older cousin was able to help him escape with his life.
After that day, Byakuya and Watari realized that they were probably the only surviving members of the Chiba clan, and so, along with their savior Tetsurou and his long-time ally Daisuke, they travelled the lands in secret. For years, Byakuya wouldn't speak a word to anyone besides Watari, and even that was rare. He was left in the care of a small group of ninja from the age of four to fourteen, learning their ways and getting visits from Watari two or three times a year. At fourteen, he was given the permission to join Watari's group, having shown his skill as a silent scout and deadly assassin.
So, over the past seven years, Byakuya has taken out a large number of enemies, both for the advancement of the Chiba and any warlord that Watari worked for in order to test them. He quickly became known as the Shadow of the Chiba because of his unwavering silence, and the fact that he could almost always be seen guarding his cousin's back. Though they still have yet to realize the goal that Watari has set for them, Byakuya will continue to fight to his dying breath to help his cousin gain back the respect their family once had, and more.

Physical Information
Tall and of average muscular build, Rou is the more normal looking of the bunch. Like Watari, he tends to keep his outward appearance appealing to those he meets, both in his fitness and what he wears. His body has few scars, the only major ones being severe burns starting from each of his palms and ending halfway up his inner forearms. He keeps these bandaged at all times, and wears fingerless gloves as well. His attire consists of mainly blacks, red, and silvers, keeping with the colors of the family that exiled him. All of his clothes have been tailored to fit him perfectly, with his outfits giving him the look of a noble.
Personal Information
Strangely, Rou is the face of Watari's group. This doesn't make him leader, but more of a ambassador for the Chiba when Watari wants to meet someone but cannot go to them himself. The role suits him just fine, as he has a way with people, and knowing what to say or do to fix nearly any situation. He has no problem charming women, and can make even the most negative situation end up working in his favor. He still holds the noble demeanor that his clan taught him before he left with Watari, and uses it to gain favor with other noble houses. He can sometimes let his hobbies get in the way of his current mission, but no matter the time it takes, he will get it done.
Historical Information
Saka Tetsurou was the first born son of the main branch of the Saka clan, though, since his clan was the lesser house of the Chiba clan that really didn't mean much. It just meant that he would be taught the right ways to act in front of other noble houses, how to train and ride horses (a family legacy), and of course how to fight for and defend the Chiba clan. From his youth, he trained with a promising young warrior named Igarashi Daisuke, and the two became fast friends. They each became respected fighters for the Saka clan, and House Chiba, in very different styles of combat, but this made them seemingly unstoppable when paired together.
During the mid to late years of his teenage life, his family had started planning a coup against the Chiba clan, finally becoming fed up with the fact that they were the lesser house of a clan than nearly everyone disrespected in one way or another. His role in the coup was to work his way into the Chiba's good graces, and his easiest way in was to charm the eldest daughter of the main clan. She was only a couple of years younger than him, and the spark or puppy love quickly grew to a roaring flame. The only thing Rou didn't expect was that he'd fall for her, and just as hard as she fell for him. She was so kind and gentle. How could he bring himself to wipe her and her unjustly mocked family from the world?
So, when the night finally came for the Saka to attack the Chiba clan, Rou ran into the Chiba estate to try and warn his beloved. Unfortunately, his father had foreseen Rou's true affections for the Chiba girl, and so he sent assassins in before the actual attack would even take place. These assassins were tasked with killing all of the Chiba children, so when Rou had finally reached his love's room he found her dead on the floor, an assassin standing over her corpse. Without a word, Rou cleaved the man's head from his shoulders with a quick, fluid motion. He swore over her body that he would protect as many of her family members as he could.
He fought his way through a number of assassins and fellow family members as he searched the estate for survivors. He was about to give up before he saw the blurred image of two children running through the flames. Giving chase, he saw a massive wooden beam fall where the children had ran. The intense heat surrounding him wasn't enough to stop him from reaching the downed beam, where he saw Watari's leg being pinned beneath the beam. The adrenaline in his body gave him the strength to lift the beam, ignoring the scorching pain in his hands and forearms as he lifted the child over his shoulder and escaped the doomed building.
He had defied his family's orders for love, a love he lost, and because of it he was exiled from his homeland. Luckily for him, and the Chiba children, the Saka believed that they had killed every Chiba that night. Dai knew that Rou was not a man to betray his allies and family without cause, and so he followed his friend into exile willingly, becoming the body guard of the group. Rou raised Watari to act like a noble, even if his clan was in shambles. He noticed the young Chiba's intelligence and calculating nature almost immediately, and helped increase his aptitude in strategy by having him work for many lesser lords and villages that needed a great mind to achieve a goal or two. Now, Rou works as the ambassador of Watari, setting meetings with people across the lands in order to develop alliances for Watari.

Physical Information
The largest and most formidable warrior under Watari's leadership, Dai is a hulk of a man. He has muscles on top of muscles, and a height rarely matched by his countrymen, but seems to move and attack as swiftly as those a foot - or more - shorter than him. His body has the scars expected of a man who's fought on the field most of his life, but many of them are covered by tattoos that paint the story of how he got them. Out of combat, he usually wears a black, red, and gray kimono with the right side of it hang at his side. This is to help free his main sword arm. In combat, however, he wears blood red samurai armor on his shoulders, torso, forearms, and legs, with his signature kimono underneath.
Personal Information
Definitely the laziest of the bunch, Dai tends to enjoy his downtime doing little to nothing. Usually, if he isn't getting ready for battle, he's either taking a nap, fishing, or drinking: if not all of them at once. Even though he's easy going, his facial expressions, gruff voice, and intimidating demeanor often give people the opposite impression. He's not exactly a socialite, but get a large enough amount of sake in him and you won't be able to shut him up. He may be lazy, and a bit of complainer when it comes to actually doing work, but once he's on task he becomes a completely different man. His only focus is taking out those that he's been ordered to, and he's damn good at doing so. Meet him in a bar; make a friend. See him on the field; meet your end.
