So, this is the inactivity notice thread. If you have anything happening in real life, vacation, or whatever reason, post them here for people to know, if you don't want members to think you're leaving. To start it off, I have my own inactivity notice.
I'm going on vacation, from today, the 20th, all the way to May 15th. I'll still be around, just expect me to be posting at strange hours, because I'll pretty much be in the same timezone as Ichi.

Even with his superior speed, given that Takehiro had whipped his glaive into a defensive position, he would still have to adjust his positioning to launch his clawed sabaton at Shingen's back during his flip, which gave the Daimyo just enough time to react to the attack, as sunlight would not only coat the entire body of the Daimyo, but a shield of light would form just behind his back, to protect himself from the sabaton connecting. He was not so foolhardy to leave his back open without having at least a course of action to protect himself. Once he landed, with the shield of sunlight still protecting his back, Shingen would slam his axe backwards as intended, but that would merely serve as a distraction, as he would also fire a hail of lances of sunlight from the sky, raining down on the Daimyo, not to harm him, but to force him to move backwards.

Glancing up upon seeing in the distance two men come walking over to and standing on the opposite shore of the lake, General Katsuyori would give the two men, upon a long and closer inspection, Yamabara Shou and General Sanada Yukimura, a nod of approval at their eagerness to train. Once the 15 minute break was over and the remaining soldiers had formed up on the shoreline, with his arms folded across his chest, Katsuyori would scrutinize all of them from his position on the shore on the other side of the lake.
"Listen closely men! For my exercise, you will be swimming across this lake to try and reach the shore I am standing on. But, you will be doing so in your armor, and you will not be allowed to remove a single piece of armor."
Pointing both his hands out towards the lake, all of the men would soon find out this exercise was not as easy as it sounded, and just as difficult as Masayuki's exercise was. The moment the first soldier dived into the water, waves would begin to buffet him, while the current would fight against him. Though he did his best to fight back, eventually he would end being tossed back onto the shore by the waves.

(OOC: Stats LOCKED. Participants LOCKED. Items LOCKED. Put your stats in your next post. Left Wing begun.
Objectives:
1) Pass through all of the traps without losing a single member. 2) Obtain the Daimyo's treasure and bring it back to the start. 3) You must make it back to the entrance to be successful.
Good luck.)
As Yukimura approached the left wing, the door would rip open, pulling all four of them inside with a wave of dark energy, and the door would quickly seal off behind them. Just like in Numa Castle, if they looked, it would be covered with a dark void of energy that they could not bypass, and it seemed they were now in a large hall, with waterfalls flowing down from openings set high and well out of sight along the walls of the hallway, pools of water hidden in shadows flowing on either side of the pathway, noticeable only by the sound of the waterfalls emptying into the pools, and a treasure chest across the room!

As Sagi rained blasts of energy upon Shingen's camp, thanks to the soldier alerting Lord Shingen of the man that challenged him, a dome composed of various elements, would appear and encase the castle and campsite, aiming not to nullify the energy blasts, but shield the campsite and prevent it from being destroyed. Standing just at the entrance to his home, with General Sanada Masayuki, his younger brother, General Takeda Nobushige, his son, General Takeda Katsuyori, and Mochizuki Chiyome, the head priestess, flanking him on either side, stood Takeda Shingen, his arms folded across his chest and his massive axe on his back. In front of him, standing at the ready, were the rest of his soldiers, weapons in their hands. They would not allow anyone to reach their Lord, and would fight to the end to protect him.

Watching as one by one, each soldier of the various units would manage to scale the rock wall and reach the top, once the last soldier managed to get to the top and then dropped back down to the ground, the rock wall would drop back down into the ground and meld back into it as Masayuki would straighten up, clearly exhausted from the intense focus and concentration he had put in to make the exercise difficult for them.
"Well done, all of you managed to get through and complete the exercise. Take a fifteen minute break, then report to General Katsuyori. And trust me, you will need the break. Dismissed!"

Surrounded on both the front and back, if Shingen couldn't move left or right, there was only one clear option: He'd go up. Slamming his axe into the ground and using it as a pole vault to launch himself up into the air as Takehiro whirled around in a circle and flung his still invisible glaive, Shingen would bring his sunlight-coated axe down at Takehiro's head.
If Takehiro countered, he'd use the momentum from the swing and flip over Takehiro, lifting his axe off Takehiro's glaive, and slam the blunt end of his axe into Takehiro's back as soon as he landed behind him.
If Takehiro dodged, Shingen would rip his axe free from the ground, sending chunks of gravel flying in Takehiro's direction.

A barely perceptible smile tugging at the corners of Masayuki's mouth as his own son managed to clear the test after Shou, the stone fists would disappear and reappear, attempting to take Koboyashi out as the captain made his run against the stone wall, just barely missing hitting him as he scaled the wall without too much difficulty. But with all these consecutive successes, it would cause Masayuki to up the difficulty for the remaining soldiers, and the stone fists would retract back into the stone wall, while the stone handholds he had initially formed, would remain and continue to shift about, lasting for no longer than a second, and any soldier that showed hesitation, would find a stone pillar come shooting out to slam into their stomach, knocking them off, before quickly melding back into the stone wall.
Likewise, any soldier that tried to emulate Shou's strategy would find a pillar of stone come shooting out just as they tried to heft their body up over the top, knocking them off. The general wasn't joking when he said he'd make it harder.

As Masayuki watched and focused Shou tackle the wall, a smile would twitch at the corners of the General's mouth. Unlike the other soldiers who had tried to reach the top by climbing the wall, Shou utilized a different strategy. As Shou jumped towards the wall, a fist of rock would burst forth from beneath him, missing him by mere inches, and fists of rock would follow the courier as he scaled the wall in two leaps. Letting out a satisfied "hmph" as the courier reached the top, he would make the wall much harder for the others of Koboyashi's unit to scale, as fists of rock would shoot out and shift about the wall, aiming to knock them off as they tried to leap up and grab Shou's hand. If they wanted to get up, they'd have to think of another strategy.

Once everyone was lined up in front of him, with his hands clasped behind his back and a piercing look in his eyes, he would drop to his knees and slam his hands onto the ground, as a ten foot high and four foot wide wall formed in front of them with small hand and foot holds scattered about it.
"Listen closely! For every person that does not make it to the top I will make it harder. If you take too long I will make it harder. And if you even so much as think I am being unreasonable, I will make it much more harder for you."
Straightening up and clasping his hands behind his back once more, as long as Masayuki continued to make contact with the stone wall, it would stay up, but he still needed to focus, because as the first soldier to climb the wall would find out, Masayuki wasn't just leaving the wall as is, as handholds started to vanish and reappear, shifting randomly throughout the wall. The first soldier attempting to climb the wall fell and the next one would find the handholds also disappearing from right under his hands if he took too long to move.

Shingen's eyes narrowing not in anger, but in concentration, as Takehiro's glaive disappeared from view, as a doppelganger shoot forward, Shingen would quickly move to the side, to avoid both the doppelganger and the glaive, which would rip the side of Shingen's hakama instead, as he would use the mirror and magatama he wore in unison. Takehiro, along with everyone else gathered, would find the sun push past the clouds gathered and shine brightly, and controlling the rays of the sun, Shingen would send a flash of light at Takehiro to blind him.
Coating his axe in sunlight and heating the head of the axe up, Shingen would hold his axe in front of him and stand his ground, determined to fight to the bitter end.

Unable to avoid the fist sailing for his forehead, in preparation for the incoming impact, Shingen would shift his head to the side while engulfing himself in a protective layer of fire, still taking the fist, but not full-on to his forehead. As he would undoubtedly be sent flying backwards, he would slam his axe into the ground, to slow and eventually halt his descent, a trail of blood running down his forehead before the wound was eventually cauterized as he landed on both feet, sliding backwards for a bit. No matter how badly Takehiro intended to beat him, he would fight on, for his family, for his men, for his people, and for that General of his, Yukimura, who had only been following orders.
