Ferdinand stood outside of the pub, staring at the sign he couldn't read. "I have yet to try the natives alcohol." He thought. "This place is poor. Its drink will most likely be horrible. Its best to try everything. Alcohol is one thing worth trying all of." As he entered, he stopped for several seconds and surveyed all he could. Before he was finished he saw an out of place women. She was asking for bodyguards. A man got up from his seat and talked to her. He followed. Before she had a chance to answer what the other man said, he asked "Why is a woman so far from home? Iberian? Men don't take their wives and daughters with them to places like these."

Featherine Fiore has finally arrived from France and made his way to Owari, the base of Oda Nobunaga. Having heard of the great power of the Demon King of the Seventh Heaven the young man had chosen this great leader as his own to follow. He arrived at the base in the dead of night clad in skin tight black clothes and covered in loosely wrapped bandages, a smile on his face so bright it made the dark night seem like day for any who caught sight of it. It was his first day here in the Oda clan and he intended to make good use of it. Standing tall and confident he sauntered in with a hop to his step looking more as though he were a dancer on stage than a soldier reporting for duty. However, any who had heard word of his great reputation in France would know he is a force to be reckoned with even is this was not evident in his looks. Here in Japan though he was just another faceless form joining in the everlasting fights. Finally he reached the center of the are and took a seat, his old and worn out kanabo he had torn out of the deathgrip of a fallen soldier with it tip to the ground so he might lean on it. "What? No welcoming party?" He chirped and tsked. "What a shame..."
A man, whose skin, eyes and shirt were white, but was otherwise enclosed in black, emerged from a doorway. "A blonde." He wondered if the man spoke Latin. "Why is a Frenchman here? If you want a party bring knowledge or guns. Otherwise you're just a strange looking man with a stick. These people will dislike you forever unless you give them something. Imagine a Japanese wandering the streets of Paris. At best he could become something a noble could show off as art."

His shirt is cloth and white, except for the cuffs which are black. It has ebony buttons, and the buttons on the cuffs also have a silver skull with a cross behind it. He wears hardened black leather shoulders, with a black cloth cape that wraps around the back and shoulders but does not cover the chest. His pants are black leather, as are his boots that go 3/4 up the calf. The buckle on the boots is a silver skull with a cross behind it. He has black leather gloves, and a black leather belt, with the buckle being the same silver skull and cross. There are several pouches on the belt. Finally, he wears a rosary with ebony beads and an ivory cross. Personality: Usually quiet, Ferdinand becomes outgoing when debating as he loves to argue, both to convince others of the truth and also for sport. Outside of work, he spends most of his time alone, either meditating, studying, or occasionally playing chess (not that hes any good at it). When in the military before he was a minor officer and in reserve formations, so he has no personal combat experience. He has never felt like he belonged anywhere he went, paranoid that others were out to get him, and constantly depressed due to what he sees as a world full of evil. He is excellent when working under pressure, and poor when when not under pressure. History: Born March 31st, 1532 in Vienna, in the Hapsburg Archdutchy of Austria, to a poor family of wagon-makers. Entered training for the priesthood at age 14 and at 20 joined the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). Known for his brilliance, Ferdinand was able to learn rhetoric, mathematics, astronomy and geometry at the expense of the Church. In the 1540s, he was active in Counter-Reformation in Hungary, both debating Protestants and rooting out corrupt clergy. He also served a short time as a soldier in the religious wars in Germany. Due to his successes, he was able to lead a mission intended for China. After making stops in Africa and India on a Spanish boat, he arrived in China. There he learned the language and attempted to learn the culture, reading several Confusion texts. After learning of the "barbarians" (the Chinese's words, not his) living in the isles to east he did his best to learn Japanese from traders, and even spent time with pirates. Without permission from Rome, he took as many of his fellow Jesuits as he could on a voyage east. A storm destroyed the ship. He and the clothes on his back were all that washed up on shore. He felt guilty for the losses of the others, and for not contacting the Papacy about his goals. He vowed to make amends by turning Japan Christian. He wandered around as a beggar, trying to learn more about where he was. Ultimately, he ended up in Owari. Deciding that Oda Nobunaga was the most accepting of foreign ideas after hearing of stories such as that of his father's funeral, he offered his services to Nobunaga as a military adviser due to his limited knowledge of guns and western warfare. He had a large steel cross made that he constantly carries on his back as a reminder of his "burden". From here, he hoped to work his way up to where he could persuade as many as he could to his beliefs. Perhaps a Catholic Oda clan could unite Japan under one religion?
