History: One fateful night a young farmer found his way to a gambling den losing every yen, yet gained a son then. Not that he would know it for Hanshiro's mother, an unrepentant gambler, had long since moved on before even she learned of his impending arrival. The boy learned the family business from an early age. From his mother's account his first word had been “Cho” during a game of Cho-Han and to his credit he had been right. When they faced a losing streak, or just when it suited them, they'd set themselves to thieving. So it went until he reached his fourteenth year when Hanshiro decided to strike out on his own. Since then little has changed, everything left to luck as it always had been.
